0:15 because what I have to do that is very

0:17 very stressful that is a this is a day

0:20 that I do not look forward to that I

0:22 dread the entire year tax

0:26 day where I have to pay Uncle Sam send

0:31 out a cashier check later in the day I

0:34 have an appointment with my Tax Advisor

0:37 proprietor preparation person whatever

0:39 they're called now yesterday spent some

0:43 time printing out my writeoffs I end up

0:45 writing off

0:47 flights rental cars gas travel expenses

0:52 things like that camera equipment and

0:54 whatnot now when you write something off

0:57 you do not get all that money back as

0:59 far as the way I understand it that

1:01 comes off the total of the income that

1:03 you made so you're not getting all that

1:06 money back but it is going off the back

1:09 end in some way again kind of a novice

1:12 that's why I print everything out you

1:14 know all the everything that needs to

1:16 happen when I hand it over to the person

1:17 who's going to prepare my stuff makes it

1:19 a little easier for them and I can kind

1:21 of get in and out now my appointment is

1:23 at

1:24 noon in about an hour at 3:00 d23 Expo

1:29 tickets go go on sale so I need to be in

1:31 the queue for that see how the day goes

1:33 I'm inviting you to join me also this is

1:38 probably since late last year when I've

1:40 lost a bunch of weight gained a bunch of

1:41 weight back I would have never put this

1:43 on the last couple of months and felt

1:44 comfortable in it and now it's fitting

1:53 I it's 137 days for my birthday which is

1:55 August 10th 2024 I will be 50 years old

1:58 and I'm on this fit by 50 Mission been

2:01 doing the treadmill been doing

2:03 lightweights in my home gym starting to

2:05 get a little stronger starting to see a

2:06 little bit of difference in the mirror

2:08 something I would notice probably

2:09 something that does not show to others

2:12 but I'm feeling pretty good about myself

2:14 so 137 days I will hopefully have

2:17 accomplished my fx50 routine and been

2:20 dropped a lot more weight have a little

2:22 more definition in the muscles and be

2:25 ready a month after that to run and I

2:29 use that term Loosely to finish a 13.1

2:33 Mi Half Marathon run Disney event at the

2:36 Disneyland Resort I believe there is a

2:39 15minute pace you have to keep up with

2:42 and I think I could do that by walking

2:44 brisly and about and jogging probably a

2:46 quarter to a half of the race I think I

2:49 can do it before the balloon ladies

2:51 catch up with me if you know you know I

2:54 didn't know at first but I've learned

2:56 since I first announced it here's the

2:57 official email I got from d23 the

3:00 ultimate Disney Fan event they don't

3:02 call it the Expo anymore they call it

3:03 the

3:04 ultimate Disney Fan event it's almost

3:07 time now I am a d23 Gold Member I think

3:10 I pay about $100 $200 a year to be that

3:13 and that gets me access to purchasing

3:15 tickets before the general goes on sale

3:18 in 2 days on the 28th so today at 12:00

3:21 p.m. Pacific time that would be 3:00

3:22 p.m. Florida time I can purchase said

3:28 ticket now it's very confusing so the

3:30 dates are August 9 10th and 11th on

3:32 Saturday the 10th I'm assuming the

3:34 Disney experiences showcase that's the

3:36 parks panel will be happening on my

3:38 birthday so I have a good time out in

3:40 Anaheim for my 50th and these are the

3:43 prices so I'm going to do the 3-day at

3:46 297 and what that ends up getting me is

3:49 access to sit at the Honda Center they

3:52 also have this for a grand where you can

3:54 sit right up close to the stage but I

3:56 think the Honda Center will have good

3:58 seats even kind of a little farther

4:00 you can also do One Day 2 Day and 3day

4:03 now if I did not want to go to the

4:04 panels it's 209 for the gold member for

4:07 the 3-day so for about another

4:10 $100 uh $90 $88 yeah $88 we do the math

4:14 correct on

4:15 that I could just I could sit and I

4:17 could have a guaranteed seat to watch

4:19 all the panels it's going to be a lot of

4:22 fun all right so hopefully at 300 p.m. I

4:26 can have my taxes done and I can I can

4:28 get in get in the queue it is an event I

4:30 always look forward to I know not

4:33 everyone gets hyped about d23 Expo or

4:35 the Ultimate Fan event I love it I love

4:38 the camaraderie around being a bunch

4:40 around a bunch of other fellow nerds who

4:42 not only love the Disney movies but also

4:44 the Disney parks the cruise lines the

4:47 hotels DVC everyone conglomerates just

4:52 engulf is going to be engulfing Anaheim

4:55 and then shortly after that will be

4:57 haunt season in September out there h h

4:59 n Oogie Boogie bash all those kind of

5:03 things man not scary farm it's going to

5:07 be a good later in the year and it'll be

5:09 nice cuz if all goes according to my

5:11 plan I'll be a little in a a little

5:13 better shape I'll be able to handle the

5:15 activities a little bit better I won't

5:17 be getting won't be getting winded and

5:19 whatnot and I'll feel good about myself

5:21 also I've been wearing these on clouds

5:23 for about 3 weeks now really like them

5:26 I'm usually a saone guy or scky guy but

5:29 I pronounce it Sone for most my life but

5:32 my ankles feel a little bit better since

5:34 I've been doing the treadmill and stuff

5:35 in these and my feet feel a little

5:37 better when I'm working out in these so

5:39 so far so good wearing these so I'm

5:41 going to kind of switch back and forth

5:43 but I like these these won't be the only

5:45 pair I buy I'm probably going to buy

5:46 another pair or two before I end up

5:48 doing the quote unquote run Disney event

5:51 finish the fin crossing the finish line

5:53 of it yeah I'm being pretty realistic

5:55 about this and no way am I going to

5:57 pretend I can run without stoping

5:59 popping the entire 13.1 miles fact I was

6:01 going to do a 5K and a 10K that same run

6:05 Disney Halloween Disneyland weekend but

6:08 they were sold out so I went with the

6:10 13.1 I'm just trying to to keep it keep

6:13 it reality

6:15 check just going to fin just going to do

6:18 just going to get to the Finish Line

6:19 that's what I'm hoping

6:22 for I I know I know my strength and

6:24 weaknesses and running that far is not

6:26 one of them today is my day of according

6:29 to Wawa 24 oz coffee here I went with

6:32 something called a fat-free Irish Cream

6:35 put a little bit in there nothing too

6:37 much didn't do any added sugar as well

6:40 however might be my day for the taxes if

6:43 all goes well I'd cross my fingers but

6:44 I'd probably spill the coffee cuz I had

6:46 the camera in the other one but it is

6:47 not my day for Lids there's no Lids left

6:50 at this

6:51 WWA I I need some coffee when I'm

6:53 getting my taxes done I got I got to

6:55 concentrate I also got all my printouts

6:57 here and the

7:00 all the info they need and I have an

7:02 entire other bundle of previous years

7:05 cuz they they compare I've been going to

7:06 the same place the last couple

7:09 years and it's it's it's pretty pretty

7:12 simple when you walk in you just kind of

7:13 hand the stuff especially just I have

7:15 everything kind of printed out ahead of

7:18 time all the different documents and

7:20 then they compare it with last year's

7:21 and all that so it's pretty fluid but I

7:23 like having someone else do it that way

7:26 I just know I haven't made any mistakes

7:27 if that makes any sense and just like

7:30 that two hours went by two very

7:32 stressful hours got home and my golf

7:36 cart now mini Marge it's about

7:40 2:15 countdowns on here 45 minutes until

7:43 d23 tickets go on sale and I have

7:48 already gotten a message back from the

7:50 IRS

7:52 saying the Internal Revenue Service has

7:56 accepted your payment thanks Sam got a

8:00 spot right over here next to the

8:02 Columbia Restaurant

8:08 nice and even though I already had the

8:08 one large coffee after all that I could

8:11 use another one just to savor the flavor

8:14 a second large coffee of the day I had

8:17 the one from Wawa and I'm going to go to

8:18 Starbucks and get another one it's like

8:21 a a big weight off my shoulder once I

8:24 know that the the amount of cash has now

8:28 been sent over also in the past I have

8:31 always had to send a cashier check and

8:35 was never told well I knew you could but

8:38 I was never informed the exact details

8:40 of how to send in through where they

8:43 just take the money out of your account

8:45 so I have it done for that so little

8:47 less stressful than years before where I

8:49 would have to take a cashier check take

8:51 a photo of it send it Priority Mail also

8:54 write down all the info you know just

8:56 just have a lot of notes making sure

8:58 that if it was to get lost I had proof

9:00 of it going and all that but now I have

9:03 already sent it off they have taken the

9:04 money sent the thing saying that the

9:07 that Uncle Sam himself has approved of

9:09 the amount that was

9:11 sent and I think that's it I think the

9:13 the whole weight is now off my shoulders

9:15 for for another year now for the next

9:16 couple weeks cuz usually about a month

9:19 then I start getting stressed again

9:20 about starting to put away money for the

9:22 next year but the next couple weeks I

9:24 can be like I don't have to think about

9:26 any of that so yeah you got a too much

9:28 too too weeks to a month where you're

9:30 just kind of kind of breathing easy and

9:31 what I've always done over the past four

9:34 five maybe six years maybe even a little

9:36 longer than that but I kind of just

9:38 basically have a rule to myself where no

9:41 matter whatever I make throughout the

9:43 course of the month take that month and

9:46 I take 30% I just take 30% not quite 1/3

9:50 but close to 1/3 of everything that I

9:53 make goes in a separate not my regular

9:55 savings but a separate savings account

9:58 and then when you get done with with all

9:59 the writeoffs and all the what you made

10:02 and then what you have to pay the

10:03 government usually that 30% after the

10:06 writeoffs is a little less than that I'm

10:08 not quite paying 30% it's pretty close

10:11 but I usually will have a little bit to

10:13 give back to myself almost like I'm

10:14 paying myself back not only a couple

10:16 percentages less than 30% but usually I

10:19 end up paying after the ride offs like

10:21 25

10:22 26% give or take maybe a little more

10:24 than that but it's less than 30 so I

10:26 would highly recommend if you're kind of

10:28 doing what I'm doing and you're

10:30 self-employed and you're making you're

10:31 making a moderate income you want to

10:34 definitely put put away 30% and then

10:38 that way you can have a little bit left

10:39 over you're not really like I always get

10:41 really stressed about the process and

10:44 the number crunching even though I had

10:46 everything all dialed in and the

10:47 paperwork all filled out it still took

10:50 about an hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours

10:52 to get everything figured out and ready

10:55 to rock so I'm glad I'm glad that's over

10:57 but at least I'm not stressed about how

10:59 the money I do have the money saved

11:01 because if I did it I would be very very

11:03 stressed out so at least that level of

11:06 stress is non-existent at this point so

11:10 the I just for my sanity I've just

11:13 learned always put money away never

11:17 never wait till the last minute and then

11:19 have to dig and go into debt to pay if

11:21 possible just take what you make and

11:24 then take a cut of that each month and

11:25 put it in a separate savings my my

11:27 advice to you if you're doing this now

11:28 as I'm standing here walking over to get

11:30 get a Starbucks noticing that over here

11:34 I was noticing I was looking for cool

11:35 but didn't really see the gator anywhere

11:37 but right here in this green thatch

24:55 helped today but that proved to not be
