0:04 welcome everyone Adam the woo here as
0:04 the recording of this it is Tuesday
0:06 October 24th
0:08 2023 standing here on Market Street but
0:10 I'm going to roll out of celebration
0:12 today and go run some errands but then
0:14 also stop by a couple places one of them
0:18 being getting a new computer my laptop
0:21 has finally started to croak and is
0:25 really kind of not really doing too well
0:27 so I've putting it off for a while I've
0:28 been using the external keyboard plugged
0:31 into a laptop I got back in like 2015
0:34 did some upgrades to it but now it is
0:37 really falling into serious disrepair so
0:40 going to purchase a new computer today
0:42 and while I'm over in that neck of the
0:44 woods I'm going to go buy the Tupperware
0:46 headquarters which is located pretty
0:48 close to Gatorland a couple blocks from
0:50 Gatorland on Orange Blossom Trail in CMI
0:53 and check out what's going on with that
0:55 proper there's rumors that it might be
0:57 either downsizing or going away
0:59 completely in there the near future so
1:01 I'm going to see what happens I'm
1:01 inviting you to join
1:03 me see where the day leads shall you and
1:07 judging by those clouds up there those
1:09 cumula nimbus clouds that are looking
1:11 very ominous probably going to get a
1:13 little bit of rain also construction
1:16 update they are doing something down
1:18 here they got the genie little uh Genie
1:20 crane over there with only a week left
1:23 hard to believe only a week till all
1:25 Hallow's Eve I got to get on this whole
1:27 pumpkin spice thing I think I'm I'm
1:29 going to go over here to the art deco
1:31 7-Eleven see if they have a one I'm
1:34 going to try a bunch of them over the
1:36 next
1:42 week fueling up now little self- pumping
1:42 gas
1:43 nozzle Art Deco 7eleven here in town the
1:46 outskirts of town
1:48 $321 a gallon I think that's what it was
1:50 about a week ago when I fueled up the
1:53 thing I love about this building is how
1:56 massive the address of
1:58 1730 oh check out the wacky Shark look
2:02 at this the wacky shark filled with
2:06 candy it's wacky all right it looks like
2:09 they do in fact have pumpkin flavored
2:13 Rich Aroma Rich flavored creamy finish
2:16 so I'll go with just a large here
2:19 pumpkin
2:31 continues
2:31 what if they have any pumpkin
2:33 creamer oh they do look at this pumpkin
2:36 spice creamer okay I'll do two of
2:38 these in the large and that should do
2:41 the trick right I think traditionally
2:44 when you go to any of the franchise
2:45 places like the actual coffee places
2:47 they'll put like the the whipped cream
2:50 on there so no whipped cream but I am
2:51 going to do a couple old pumpkin pie
2:54 pumpkin pie spice from the old sebie
2:57 this is a new area of town called Island
2:59 village
3:00 they're still doing a little bit of
3:01 construction in here but there are some
3:03 completed homes some of the homes are
3:05 about a year or two old but it's almost
3:08 like a secondary downtown even though it
3:11 is separated quite a bit from the main
3:13 area that I would consider
3:15 celebration they've created a lake here
3:17 as well and some
3:20 shops very beautiful like coming over
3:22 here sometimes and seeing the progress
3:24 of everything 7-Eleven pumpkin spice
3:33 oh that's still really hot yeah it's
3:34 really good that's pretty dang
3:41 good I would get this again it's pretty
3:41 tasty I think it's better than the
3:43 Duncan but not as good as the
3:48 Starbucks o that's hot all right going
3:51 to get moving and head over to a
3:54 different area of town over by orange
3:55 bossom Trail and the loop to the Best
3:58 Buy to get a computer
4:00 cheers decided to go by Tupperware first
4:03 because they're only open a few hours
4:07 during select
4:08 days also they just tore down this whole
4:11 little old Resort over here that was in
4:14 really bad shape me pull in
4:18 here this place was here for years on
4:20 Highway
4:27 192 used to be a pool back there the
4:27 hotel was right there where at least the
4:31 at least the main office and the
4:32 check-in area was right
4:37 there you ever seen the movie The
4:37 Florida project this is where the fire
4:39 happened they burned down one of the
4:40 buildings for the
4:43 movie it's not the Magic Castle that was
4:46 used in the movie but it was just one
4:49 scene that they had a a fire in one of
4:51 the buildings over there but now all the
4:53 buildings have been torn down according
4:55 to the
4:55 internet says that they're open on
4:58 Tuesdays Wednesdays and th Thursdays
5:00 from 1: to 4:00 p.m. those are the only
5:02 days that you can go inside and take a
5:05 look at the displays and Etc it's about
5:09 140 right now so should be able to go
5:12 inside I haven't confirmed that it is
5:14 open says love what you do Tupperware
5:17 brand so I kind of have a soft spot for
5:19 Tupperware not only do I feel like it is
5:23 a really impressive product for storing
5:26 things and I might be biased because my
5:28 mom was a tuare manager for many many
5:30 years when I was growing up she did
5:32 really
5:33 well with the company even when we
5:36 didn't live here we moved to Central
5:38 Florida in 91 but even before that she
5:40 would come down here to something they
5:42 they had called
5:44 jubilees which was a big Meetup of all
5:46 the tupp whereare managers and
5:49 employees I think the company was a lot
5:52 bigger and more thriving then than it is
5:55 now but it's still open at least this
5:58 the headquarters is open for now the
6:00 whole compound here has downsized
6:02 considerably like they've sold off a lot
6:04 of the land I'll kind of show off the
6:06 other areas of the convention center
6:08 which they don't own anymore and there's
6:09 a part in the middle I'm noticing now is
6:11 going to be developed for apartment
6:13 living so they have really sold off a
6:15 lot of the the acreage that they they
6:18 they had way back in the day a fountain
6:21 over there there even a little sculpture
6:24 of a
6:25 seal entry Plaza straight
6:28 ahead
6:30 okay here's the here it is this confirms
6:32 it oh you know
6:34 what it's only open two days a week look
6:36 at this the Tupperware Gallery hours are
6:40 only open they're not open on Thursdays
6:42 only on Tuesdays which is today as I'm
6:44 filming this and Wednesdays from 1:00 to
6:47 4:00 they're only 6 hours a week that
6:51 you can come here on the property and go
6:53 inside and purchase some of the new
6:55 products I've seen some old photos a lot
6:57 of them and uh my my family my mom and
7:00 dad's family photo album but my mom and
7:02 a lot of her co-workers and friends
7:06 right here in front of this Fountain and
7:08 I believe it used to emit water out of
7:18 it but it's not on at the
7:18 moment Spirit of
7:26 friendship worldwide sail Force back in
7:26 1994 was totaling 6,000 600
7:30 39,2 181 employees the coins in this
7:34 Friendship Fountain have been placed
7:35 here by all the Tupperware distributor
7:37 managers employees who have expanded
7:39 tor's Friendship Circle and their
7:42 opportunity with others the
7:49 fountain was placed here in
7:49 1971 so yeah it's been here a
7:59 while it's very windy today and the flag
7:59 poles over here have the US flag the big
8:02 one up top and the small one but there's
8:04 also other flag poles over here which
8:06 used to have a lot of other flags waving
8:10 in the breeze but those flag poles are
8:12 empty you can see
8:14 them off in the distance you can also
8:17 see where those new apartments are going
8:18 to be kind of wish this was
8:21 on be a lot cooler if the water was
8:23 effervescently flowing from it pretty
8:25 neat complex you got the second level up
8:27 there with all the foliage and the
8:29 Greenery like was like a little balcony
8:31 up
8:32 top tucked away over here in the corner
8:35 is this
8:36 bench and the
8:53 shade all right they have a little
8:53 welcome sign in the front I'm going to
8:54 head in got the door open for me I like
8:58 these chairs right here too and look at
9:01 this there's like a
9:02 timeline the most exclusive shopping
9:05 center in the world and the
9:06 friendliest
9:09 1963 so my mom has so much Tupperware
9:12 from her days with the company back in
9:15 the 80s in the early
9:17 90s and a lot of it is still you're in
9:21 great great shape whenever I go to
9:22 garage sales I used to go to a lot of
9:24 garage sales I've kind of tapered off on
9:25 the garage sailing but when I do go I
9:28 always always look for Tupperware from
9:30 this era and if I find it I will always
9:32 buy it so I do have a lot of
9:44 Tupperware look at these little chips I
9:44 forgot what those chips were
9:46 for I man I don't remember what that is
9:50 so I was talking to the employee in here
9:51 she said usually every day the fountain
9:53 is on but it's too windy today the
9:54 reason the fountain is quite
9:58 operational how to box a
10:10 tongs okay so this is something that my
10:10 mom when she was a tupperware manager
10:12 she hit a goal and she got a car one of
10:15 the slogans here we got this look at
10:18 this staircase very nice got the
10:21 Tupperware emblem very distinct font
10:24 this is an early Tupperware molding
10:26 machine made in the 1940s molding
10:28 machine use it for TP Tupperware
10:30 products and this is an Earl Tupper
10:32 samper case so the name the name is
10:34 actually after the guy's last name Earl
10:36 Tupper was his name and this was his
10:37 sample case right here and then you have
10:39 some of the old bowls as well so Earl
10:42 Tupper was the gentleman's name who
10:45 created this company brownie wise what
10:49 is this handmade bowl by brownie wise oh
10:52 brownie wise a dress worn by Mrs wise
10:55 during the company's many events
10:56 celebrating success of the Salesforce
10:59 who was brownie wise she was a
11:01 businesswoman that also was part of
11:03 Tupperware that is very interesting now
11:06 I knew about Earl Tupper but I didn't
11:07 know about brownie wise they would do
11:10 these home parties similar to like Avon
11:12 and those kind of things but it was very
11:15 very popular they would go all the women
11:16 from the neighborhood would get around
11:18 you would sell the tupperware at the
11:20 party just like a cool thing kind of
11:23 like a cool piece of Americana all right
11:25 here's the timeline 46 Earl Tupper
11:27 establishes Tupper plas
11:30 brownie wise in 51 becomes vice
11:32 president of Tu Weare home parties in
11:35 Florida yeah it used to be massive 1300
11:37 Acres back in 1953 was purchased right
11:40 here in CMI Florida and then the
11:42 timeline just continues to go on and on
11:46 and their core values extend a hand
11:47 succeed together do right by others
11:49 dream big and celebrate each other they
11:52 have some of the some of the products
11:54 wedged in here in the side I think these
11:56 are like current products here these are
11:58 like little ice cubes
11:59 trays and it kind of looks like they
12:01 branched off into Cutlery and knives as
12:03 well too and you can see the stuff
12:04 definitely evolved over time into what
12:07 it is today I guess one of the first
12:08 products was the salt and pepper shaker
12:10 in 47 a butter dish 1 lb capacity a bell
12:14 funnel it's like a bulb syringe it's
12:16 like a ketchup thing right there
12:18 personal items including a safety pin
12:21 caddy a bobby pin shampoo brush look at
12:25 that one right there it's like a little
12:26 chicken what the heck year was that
12:29 1962 I never I don't think I ever saw
12:32 one of that one of those before people
12:35 come to Tupperware for income but they
12:37 stay for relationships and that's true
12:40 and to this day at my parents home they
12:42 have this picture well a bigger version
12:45 of this this era right here that would
12:48 have been probably the80s as well you
12:51 got the greater right here this almost
12:53 looks similar to like a lettuce holder
12:55 right there custommade figurines awarded
12:58 to the sales force in the ' 70s and the
13:00 80s these ceramic
13:02 figurines just a real like I said just a
13:05 real piece of Americana you think of
13:07 like Tupperware I think of Rubbermaid I
13:09 go get that get that Rubbermaid garbage
13:11 out of here Tupperware Tupperware for
13:13 life like I said I'm kind of bias just
13:15 because I know how good it is and how
13:16 long it lasts when I went to Rocky Bayou
13:19 Christian school in nville Florida I
13:21 used to take one of these lunch boxes
13:23 this is not the one that this is not the
13:25 one I had but it's the exact same style
13:27 and same years see right here Circa
13:30 1980s is a poppy and daffodil color pack
13:35 and carry is what it was called
13:38 incredible bringing back some serious
13:40 memories here yep look at this I still
13:42 have one of these not the one I have not
13:44 the one from back in the day but
13:45 sometimes you will see these at garage
13:47 sales or thrift stores if you ever see
13:49 Tupperware it's a good investment it's
13:51 going to last it's going to last a
13:55 lifetime in fact I believe don't quote
13:59 me on this but I believe there was a
14:00 time now some of these products aren't
14:02 made anymore but if something would
14:03 break it had a lifetime warranty I don't
14:06 know how they do that now if you had
14:07 something from this era that cracked
14:10 they wouldn't be able to replace it so I
14:11 don't know if that's still a thing
14:13 anymore but that was part of the appeal
14:15 of purchasing this stuff back in the day
14:17 this vending machine you can get a tiny
14:19 treasure capture the magic of the
14:20 products with these Tiny Treasures right
14:23 here and I believe last time I was here
14:25 like a decade ago like I said I ended up
14:27 getting one of these but since and out
14:29 of order this whole Tupperware is out of
14:32 order says it right there Tupper World
14:43 Headquarters right in front of the door
14:43 here and I ended up
14:45 purchasing a few things I got a little
14:48 souvenir bag which is nice that they saw
14:50 it was you had to pay for it but it's
14:53 definitely a kind of a collectible item
14:54 and I got a few things in there and on
14:56 the way out the receptionist said hey
14:58 you want a couple key chains one in the
14:59 vending machine that wasn't working they
15:01 were just like oh we got some here you
15:02 can have these so I spent about3 $35 on
15:06 this so I am noticing that when you when
15:08 I was perusing through the gift shop
15:11 they don't call it a gift shop but they
15:12 call it the store when you go through
15:15 there they definitely have
15:17 modernized tupp Weare but they do have
15:19 some throwback Styles kind of stayed the
15:21 same but yet evolved just a little bit
15:24 brought back a lot of memory seeing some
15:26 of the items you know from my youth
15:28 growing up seeing in the kitchen
15:30 cabinets and in the
15:32 cupboards just little items just really
15:36 kind of taking me back just a little bit
15:38 seeing a lot of the stuff and a lot of
15:40 it was on sale in the shop so you can
15:43 come in and purchase purchase the
15:45 items as well and I I bought a few
15:49 things and I'm glad I did and I'll have
15:52 to remember this place is here cuz I
15:53 could come back I mean I always knew it
15:55 was here but I just forget sometimes
15:56 that it's still open so so if I ever
15:59 need any stuff for the
16:01 cupboards you still get it if you can't
16:04 find it at a thrift store or garage sale
16:06 or vintage
16:19 Outlet all right I'll show what's in the
16:19 bag
16:20 here what's in the
16:22 bag what's in the bag Al so this is the
16:27 new all holiday collection create
16:30 moments to remember memory makers so all
16:33 this stuff now as I recall back in the
16:37 day you could not get Tupperware
16:39 obviously there was no internet back
16:41 then but you couldn't buy it in a store
16:43 but now I think certain store I think
16:44 target don't quote me on that I think
16:46 target started selling Tupperware but it
16:49 was like you can only get it at the
16:50 house parties of course now 2023 it's a
16:53 totally different world so it's not as
16:55 exclusive you could just probably just
16:58 go on here in order out of the book you
16:59 don't have to like have a Tupperware
17:01 party so I ended up getting that Mickey
17:05 I did not realize the Tupperware did IPS
17:08 and the guy in the shop said that there
17:10 was a minion one that came out that was
17:12 pretty cute a few years ago too so the
17:15 fact that
17:16 Disney licensed out
17:19 Mickey I kind of had to get that I kind
17:21 of figured that would be something this
17:23 little item here and then I got this
17:25 entire set CU a set of four I thought it
17:28 was just like you a oneoff one but it's
17:29 a set of four so I got this and this and
17:33 the bag for like $30 give or take I
17:36 think that's all I got and then I got
17:38 the the little keychains that they gave
17:40 me on the way
17:42 out confidence becomes you
17:46 nice that is an oversized bag right
17:50 there it's an oversized Tupperware bag
17:53 not made out of Tupper o I wonder if
17:54 it's recycled Tupperware that's a good
17:57 question maybe it is
17:59 I don't think it is no I don't think it
18:02 is I don't see how you could recycle
18:04 Tupperware this stuff is like
18:06 indestructible this Plaza is known as
18:08 homecoming Plaza as you step onto this
18:10 Plaza may you feel the warmth of our
18:12 welcome and respect we hold for you and
18:15 all our Salesforce from around the world
18:16 with open arms and grateful Hearts we
18:18 welcome you home that was Place back
18:20 there place there and March
18:24 2008 so if it wasn't so windy they would
18:27 have the fountain
18:29 it is a little windy said anybody was
18:31 trying to walk in there was getting a
18:33 little
18:34 soaked so it makes sense it's not
18:37 on a beautiful property I find it kind
18:39 of interesting that in those times never
18:42 had contemplated that my family would
18:45 move to Central
18:46 Florida helicopter going
18:48 over and never did I even realize until
18:52 later till we moved
18:54 here you know in Oklahoma my mom was
18:57 selling it and panhandle of Florida way
19:00 before it was even a glimmer of thought
19:02 that my family would moov to Central
19:04 Florida in '
19:05 91 it just worked out not had nothing to
19:11 do my mom and dad moving here being that
19:14 Tupperware was located here but it is so
19:17 it's kind of a interesting
19:20 coincidence that their corporate
19:21 headquarters is located in
19:25 CMI cuz I grew up with it
19:44 here established in
19:44 2016 heart and friendship are a very
19:47 center of every successful
19:50 business you got the wishing
19:58 well oh wow there's like big coins down
19:59 in there I don't know what those
20:01 are
20:09 interesting those are not regular
20:09 dollars or or quarters or pennies or
20:19 nles this whole area just fascinates me
20:22 just I don't know just fascinating to
20:31 me and driven past this many many times
20:31 did not realize that around the back of
20:33 the property there was something called
20:34 the opportunity Tre dedicated in 1886
20:38 homecoming
20:39 Jubilee this Laurel Oak has become to
20:42 symbolize how people create strength
20:43 through sharing more than 15,000 new
20:46 dealers this was the era that I recall
20:51 the opportunity
20:53 tree what the heck that's awesome it
20:57 probably was like a seedling
21:11 Excellence looking over this Fountain
21:11 which is on the growth
21:26 Club it's like a whole beautiful walk
21:26 through here little sculpture of a
21:29 beaver
21:30 here next to the tree of Hearts another
21:32 tree that was planted in
21:40 2015 this is wild all this back here
21:40 what's going on back
21:42 here it's like part of the convention
21:45 center
21:58 area
21:58 this is dedicated in '
22:06 05 something called the chairman Summit
22:06 dedicated in
22:15 17 and the seal I'm just
22:15 recalling is the
22:17 mascot and probably has something to do
22:20 with the fact that it is
22:29 seals you know it seals up the container
22:29 devices just assuming that that has
22:31 something to do with this a seal being
22:33 the mascot it is a little unusual to see
22:36 the grounds like this they're very
22:37 well-kept place is still open they still
22:39 have the store but downsizing
22:42 dramatically from what it was and
22:44 there's not really a whole lot of people
22:45 around here you know there's no ju
22:48 Jubilee going on right now if they even
22:49 have jubilees
22:51 anymore but just a perspective back in
22:54 the era that I'm talking about at least
22:56 in my world my family world but I think
22:59 just across the board the company was
23:02 massive massive this place was
23:05 probably an insane beehive of activity
23:08 more than than it is now still
23:10 operational still thriving on some
23:14 level yeah there's kind of a kind of a
23:17 interesting Vibe walking around
23:26 here take a look at these signs reserved
23:26 for expected
23:37 others something called The Design
23:37 Center where it's all design I want to
23:39 see that the East Building there's also
23:41 a
23:42 photography photography Warehouse or
23:44 just photography and then there's a
23:45 warehouse
23:46 B I don't know what that building is
23:49 right there it's unusual Pump Pump
23:51 Station street signs there say corner of
23:53 Tupperware place and opportunity
23:56 AV
23:59 once you get around the back of the
24:00 property drive around back here it's
24:02 kind of
24:04 desolate again I imagine there were
24:07 times back in the day where this was
24:09 just really really
24:12 busy all kept up though it's all still
24:14 open this is the Simon hemo well
24:17 Wellness
24:19 Center whatever that
24:28 is okay this says slow congested area
24:28 going over a little speed bump here got
24:31 to go slow congested
24:54 congested as Meeting Hall Information
24:54 Technology design building and shipping
24:56 and receiving is the other one
25:06 way so this is the design building this
25:06 is where all the designs came to
25:09 fruition and that is pretty dang neat to
25:12 even think
25:32 what are the odds that they they're even
25:32 designing anything anymore are they
25:33 designing new
26:16 all right that is the photo studio which
26:16 I am taking
26:18 that to be the spot where they took all
26:21 the photography so anything you'd see in
26:24 like a magazine or in print or you'd get
26:29 flyer it was all taken inside this
26:44 building it's just a huge
26:45 piece of Americana consumerism
26:56 history and over there some of the new
26:56 apartments that are springing up on what
26:58 used to be part of their
27:05 property all the years I've been around
27:05 this neck of the woods I've never driven
27:07 back
27:19 here really curious I think I'm going to
27:19 I'm going to go down a rabbit hole of
27:21 modern-day Tupperware
27:23 now see if I can do a little digging too
27:26 of
27:28 some events that
27:30 transpired back in here the old
27:47 jubilees so here's another main building
27:47 up here has the Tupperware emblem on the
27:50 side you know you look at like movie
27:52 backlots you get like Warner and
27:53 Universal and things and you see people
27:55 riding bikes around the property that's
27:57 what it makes me think of what it used
27:59 to be like there's probably so many
28:02 employees back in here that instead of
28:04 getting in their car to drive around
28:05 they would just park their bikes right
28:07 there at that
28:20 rack shipping and receiving building got
28:20 the sign right there on the
28:21 side this is where it all gets shipped
28:24 and received and shipped out of
28:39 over there in the woods is a little
28:39 Bridge there a little pathway that would
28:40 lead from the shipping receiving area to
28:44 the main
28:57 complex
28:57 and there is an exit sign here I'm
28:59 curious to see if he can still get out
29:01 this
29:02 way so he used to be able to take a left
29:05 here and go into farther
29:07 into the property but they've sold a lot
29:10 of that off to Apartments golden Galaxy
29:15 walkway so golden Galaxy walkway has
29:18 been cut off golden Galaxy walkway used
29:21 to stretch all the way that
29:22 direction but you can see now it's owned
29:26 by someone else
29:29 there is a bell what is this
29:38 Bell uh I need to walk over here cuz
29:38 there's no telling if this Bell is going
29:39 to stand the test of
29:41 time also
29:44 some fowl right there in the
30:12 cranes okay yeah so like take a look
30:12 theyve broken up the
30:14 conrete
30:21 here broke it all up little
30:21 rubble and they're either
30:24 draining no they're probably draining
30:26 the water out of there that retention
30:28 pond so the property used to go all the
30:30 way down there where that Convention
30:31 Center is
30:33 now all this was once
30:37 owned by
30:46 this oh this is a fun game to play Hello
30:46 Sand Hills real rock or fake
30:51 rock I'm going to say fake
30:54 rock yep fake rock
31:03 wow look at this
31:06 area wow wow dedicated to brownie wise
31:10 to this day we are grateful to Brownie
31:12 and her vision for every woman could be
31:13 a confident business owner she
31:16 transformed the
31:17 company in the status of American woman
31:20 and today the Salesforce Community
31:21 honors her Legacy by continuing to
31:24 empower women around the world and
31:26 there's the display
31:29 here just off to the side of the
31:45 complex the homecoming
31:57 Bell
31:58 holy cow look at this the homecoming
32:01 Bell cast on July 4th of
32:04 1857 this Bell was installed to the
32:07 Tower of the textile Factory which later
32:11 became the Tupperware plant in
32:14 Blackstone Massachusetts during the 76
32:17 jubilees it was presented to the
32:19 employees to their headquarters that it
32:22 could ring out it's welcome to the
32:25 worldwide family promising quote when
32:28 you come here you're coming
32:31 home so that factory in Massachusetts
32:35 evidently they moved it here and now it
32:38 sits off to the
32:41 side of the
32:44 current
32:46 headquarters that is freaking
32:56 cool unbeknown to me and probably a lot
32:56 of other people who show up here if
32:59 you're going to the gift shop to
33:01 purchase some new Tupperware there's a
33:03 lot of Forgotten history here secret
33:12 history yeah they are taking water from
33:14 here and pumping it into this so this is
33:18 going to be the active retention pond in
33:20 front of the headquarters the old
33:22 retention pod the secondary extended
33:24 retention pod is going to be cleared out
33:27 and become
33:28 Apartments it's my educated guess see I
33:31 had no idea when I started the day I
33:32 would be discovering Secrets like
33:35 this just kind of fun
33:38 to gy vant around and find
33:58 back I love it I'm going to get in my
33:58 car and drive over to the now Convention
34:00 Center which used to be part of this
34:02 complex but just imagine back in the day
34:05 we show up here for jubilees they would
34:07 walk to the main area and they would
34:08 walk all the way down to where I'm going
34:10 to be driving to past this section so
34:13 this walkway went all the way down to
34:16 what is now a Convention Center here
34:19 they walk down golden Galaxy
34:23 walkway I like to imagine what you know
34:26 what it was like backed up just I always
34:28 do that with
34:49 things looks like they're having an
34:49 event over here at the convention center
34:52 today this all used to all be attached
34:55 to the same property okay this is pretty
34:56 interesting Rodney Dangerfield played at
34:59 the Tupperware Convention Center
35:06 Auditorium who knew
35:06 also in sync kicked off the tour with
35:09 Britney Spears it was the first show of
35:11 that
35:13 leg and it was at the former Tupperware
35:16 Auditorium also Tony Bennett played in
35:24 there and others again I'm definitely
35:24 going to go down a rabbit hole over over
35:27 time figure out how many artists W that
35:30 is windy how many artists played
35:33 inside now it's a performing artart
35:35 center they have an event going
35:38 on but that's pretty wild to think about
35:41 that this was an active popular venue in
35:44 the great Orlando area here in CMI and
35:46 it was Tupperware Tupperware Auditorium
35:49 is what it was Tupperware Auditorium and
35:50 Convention
36:05 wow take a look at this Johnny Cash also
36:05 performed there again who
36:11 knew at the auditory of Johnny
36:14 Cash incredible okay arrived at the Best
36:17 Buy right across from the loop ended up
36:20 going inside and I ended up purchasing a
36:21 new computer last computer I bought was
36:23 in 2015 I upgraded it in 2016 it served
36:27 me well I got a it was a Mac and it
36:30 definitely served its purpose and I got
36:31 a lot of usage out of it but now I have
36:34 a MacBook Air that I've just purchased
36:38 right
36:44 here sealed up ready to
36:45 rock here's the specs on it 8 gigs
36:49 unified memory 256 GB SSD 13-in MacBook
36:54 Air with apple M2 Chip this will take
36:57 care I really only use the computer very
36:59 very short amount of time there's only
37:01 so much a couple things that I cannot do
37:04 on my iPhone that that are on YouTube
37:06 which is kind of annoying that you can't
37:08 do everything and it's easier and I
37:09 thought about buying a an iPad but this
37:12 wasn't much more than an iPad and this
37:15 will be exactly like what I'm used to
37:17 using and it's a it's a lot lighter than
37:19 the one and the keyboard should be
37:21 working on this one as opposed to the
37:23 one that I have had for a while that has
37:27 some issues and has an external keyboard
37:29 and had to tote that thing around
37:32 through travel and flying with it is
37:33 kind of a pain so got myself a new
37:35 laptop it should work out good all right
37:38 a little bit of an unboxing
37:40 here there's the
37:42 computer oh yeah that is definitely
37:47 thin very nice not very
37:50 heavy designed by Apple in California
37:52 got the cord
37:55 here and hopefully a charging cord as
37:58 well oh there is good to go I think
38:03 that's it that's there's the
38:06 unboxing all right that's going to do it
38:08 for today thanks for watching I'll see
38:11 you in the next video the
38:13 Vlog it's
38:15 over
