0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here. As
0:02 the recording of this, it is Saturday,
0:04 June 14th. I'm about ready to head over
0:06 to Magic Kingdom and I were going to
0:09 experience in all its entirety from the
0:13 opening to the closure, depending on the
0:16 weather, of Tom Sawyer's Island. I said
0:18 goodbye to the riverboat, the Liberty
0:20 Bell, the other day, and today is my
0:23 final time stepping foot
0:27 on the island in the middle of Rivers of
0:29 America. It's closing.
0:32 July 6th is the final day. July 7th, it
0:34 will be erased from existence. I am
0:38 leaving the country in two days. This is
0:40 my last chance to go on the island
0:43 again. And I've always wanted to do an
0:46 opening to close. It's open from 11:00
0:49 to 6:00 p.m. I think rope drop is at 8
0:52 or 9. The island opens a couple hours
0:54 later. Hoping to be the first raft over
0:58 and the last raft off. I'm inviting you
1:01 to join me. Good to have you here. Shall
1:04 you? Going to be leaving Celebration
1:06 just shy of 9:30. It's 9:26 right now.
1:11 It's 83 degrees, but it's going to warm
1:13 up to 92
1:15 around 400 p.m.
1:19 No sign of showers, though. So, when
1:22 there is inclement weather and stormy,
1:23 they will close the island, but it looks
1:25 like it's going to be a clear 7-hour day
1:29 on the island itself. No storms in
1:32 projected. Should be able to explore
1:34 every nook and cranny. Get over there in
1:35 time to get some coffee. Get a couple
1:37 bottles of water, maybe some snacks.
1:41 First raft over at 11:00 a.m. Last one
1:45 off at 6:00.
1:47 This says the last day to experience the
1:49 island is July 6th. On July 7th, they
1:53 will make way for the largest expansion
1:55 in history at the Magic Kingdom.
2:05 Going to be wild not to have that island
2:06 or the river boat. I did think it'd be
2:08 kind of fun to be stuck on the island
2:09 during a Florida storm. However, they
2:13 evidently close the island when a storm
2:14 is a brewing. They make everyone leave
2:16 the island. So, if that happens, that
2:19 happens. But the weather's showing clear
2:21 skies, even though those clouds right
2:22 there might might argue with the
2:24 forecast. made a reservation for today,
2:27 but it turns out that they have decided
2:29 that no reservations are needed for
2:31 passholders. It's a good to go day. You
2:33 don't even need a reservation as a
2:35 passholder to go today. Why do we have
2:37 reservations here? Procuring a
2:39 reservation on the West Coast at
2:40 Disneyland as a passholder. It's like
2:42 winning the lottery. It's like getting
2:44 to Fort Knox sometimes. But here, man,
2:46 it's never never an issue. Well, rarely
2:50 rarely an issue. Yeah. I don't know.
2:52 Sometimes you can't trust the Sometimes
2:55 you can't trust the prediction of the
2:56 weather. These clouds are looking pretty
2:58 wild. What if I get over there before
3:00 the raft first raft even leaves starts
3:03 downpouring and the island doesn't open
3:05 for a while? I'm just standing there
3:06 waiting. So my plan is go to Starbucks,
3:09 get a large coffee venty,
3:11 and also one of the Starbucks bath
3:13 collectible bags from Magic Kingdom and
3:16 then put a couple waters in there. I
3:17 think there's water over at the island
3:19 though as well and restrooms. But no
3:21 matter what happens, if I get evaced off
3:23 the island because of weather, then at
3:25 least I went over there. But I'd like to
3:27 stay from 11 to 6 open to close over
3:29 there. It's going to be a scorcher. No
3:32 one knows more about the heat than heavy
3:34 metal Mickey because the sun hits him.
3:38 He gets really toasty cuz he's made of
3:40 metal aluminum. I think I walked right
3:43 down the middle of Main Street, USA.
3:45 first priority
3:47 is to pop over into Starbucks and get
3:50 properly caffeinated. Then soon after
3:53 caffeination,
3:54 hydration will be the next
3:58 priority of the day.
4:04 I think I can get over to the first
4:04 raft.
4:06 It's 10:25 right now.
4:10 While waiting for my water to show the
4:11 or waiting for my coffee to be prepared,
4:13 I purchased these three waters, but I
4:16 read that there are refillable stations
4:18 over at the island. So, I should have a
4:21 effrovescently
4:22 constant flow of water being refilled in
4:24 there. I also purchased this. Doesn't
4:26 really go with my Frontier Land ensemble
4:29 with the Indie hat and Mickey western
4:32 shirt, but been wanting to get this for
4:34 a while. You got Sunny Eclipse, Space
4:36 Mountain, The Castle, Dapper Dance,
4:38 Tron, Big Thunder, which is currently
4:40 under construction, mansion, things like
4:42 that. Nothing on the back side. I got
4:44 them to carry the waters over to the
4:46 first raft. Yes, the everchanging
4:48 landscape of WDW, Frontier Land, and the
4:51 island over there. Looks like they have
4:53 the cast members preparing the first
4:55 raft. Got my coffee, got my bag full of
4:57 waters, and I'm going to be heading
4:59 over. I think I'm going to make the
5:00 first raft. You are wearing quite the
5:02 appropriate t-shirt here. You got Mark
5:04 Twain. Mark Twain. You got The
5:06 Adventures of Tom Sawyer. I'm going to
5:08 read some passages with the book today
5:09 on the island. I like that. Greg's game
5:12 room is here. Drew in the moment is
5:16 here. I feel I feel underdressed and
5:17 underprepared, man. Well, I got this bag
5:20 that does not go with my Frontier Land
5:22 ensemble, but uh it works. Hey, we won't
5:24 send nothing right over there. We're
5:25 going to try to try to get the first
5:26 raft over and depending on uh just see
5:29 how the day goes. I'm going to stay over
5:30 there till the last raft. I figure we're
5:32 going to be there a while. I got plenty
5:33 of book to read. Okay, you got to read
5:35 you got to read you got to read some
5:38 passages. We got a lot of time over
5:40 there. Got nothing but time. They're
5:43 pricey. Yeah, that is true. That is
5:45 true. Well, you could actually paint the
5:47 You could recreate this scene. We could
5:48 rep re repaint the fence again. We
5:51 could. Yeah. Or one last time. One last
5:53 paint. It's already a line to be in the
5:56 first raft. Also, the cast members have
5:58 taken the Liberty Bell around before
6:01 guests are allowed to board it. And then
6:03 after the first first ship goes around,
6:05 we'll be able to get on the first raft,
6:07 which is waiting right there patiently
6:09 for us to board over to Tom Sawyer's
6:12 Island in Anaheim. It's called Pirates,
6:14 I think. Pirates Layer now. They don't
6:16 even call it Tom Soros Island anymore,
6:17 which is weird. Will not be riding the
6:20 river boat today, but you will be seeing
6:22 it a lot. But I said my goodbyes to the
6:23 river boat a couple days ago, but I will
6:25 be showing it a lot from the island. Oh,
6:28 someone else has joined the party.
6:30 Exploring Ryan has made it. Party.
6:32 What's that? A going away party. Is it a
6:34 7-hour party? It's going to be Did you I
6:37 got waters. Uh, okay. There you go. And
6:40 you have Oh, you brought an apple. I
6:41 brought an apple and I was just talking
6:43 about an apple. You know what the apple
6:46 Drew? I'm Ryan. Ryan. Good to meet you
6:48 as well. There's a Mark Twain reference
6:49 to the apple. I There is. So, I like
6:51 this. Um, you've got I'm under
6:55 I want villains. Okay. You're going to
6:56 be over here all day. I got the Frontier
6:58 Land shirt going on. I'm I'm going to go
7:01 Adventure Land today, I think. Primarily
7:03 going Poly. Yeah. Uh, this is this is
7:05 bittersweet, man. I don't know what to
7:08 what to be feeling right now. Sadness.
7:10 It is. It is a general sense of morose,
7:14 if you will. I'm going to have to Google
7:16 that word. I gleaked a little bit there.
7:18 really kind of amazed that the line over
7:21 here has already already really gotten
7:23 pretty lengthy. We're getting on the
7:25 first raft, though. I'm about lined up
7:26 prior to 11:00 a.m. The line is massive.
7:30 Look at that line. That's like four
7:32 rafts full of people waiting to get
7:34 over. Oh, yeah. Alligators and snakes in
7:38 the area. They got another boat ready to
7:39 go over and it was rafted. We're getting
7:41 on the first one. Free floating vessel.
7:48 All those items. Keep an eye on any
7:48 nuclear whistle.
7:51 Now we young lady here is giving a spiel
7:53 about how this is a free floating vessel
7:55 I believe. And uh Adam maybe you can
7:58 answer this for me. This is the only
8:00 free floating vessel in the Magic
8:02 Kingdom at this point. Is it not? Oh
8:04 without being on track. It might be.
8:07 Yeah. There's no canoes around Rivers of
8:09 America.
8:11 Got to go up in the windmill. We're
8:12 going to spend a lot of time in every
8:14 little piece of this place.
8:18 And then the next time I'm going to be
8:19 in town, this thing will all be closed
8:21 up.
8:22 Which is wild to think about.
8:30 And we did it. Accomplished gold number
8:30 one. The first raft of the day. Maybe
8:33 this would have.
8:44 We've arrived at Tom's landing.
8:44 We've landed at Tom's.
8:51 Yeah, I was gonna This is going to be a
8:51 long video, by the way. I wonder what a
8:53 lot of stuff's going to what where it's
8:54 going to end up. You think this will end
8:55 up at the Lakeland Antique Mall? I got
8:57 possibly. I hope so. I always I always
8:59 like this sign right here, but it' be
9:01 kind of I don't think that's the
9:02 original one, but you know, it's kind of
9:04 looks like the original one, but it
9:05 looks like a newer version, a remake of
9:07 the original one. Here is a general
9:08 layout of the land. You got this the
9:10 bigger island here. Then you got a
9:12 bridge over Superstition Bridge. Then
9:15 you get over to Papy's fishing pier. You
9:17 got Fort Langghorn right there. You got
9:20 the riverboat going away. This is also
9:22 going to be This is also going to be
9:24 completely all gone. This is the raft
9:26 that we took over there. Old Scratchy's
9:28 Mystery Mind. You got the scavenger,
9:31 Harper's Mill, Catfish Cove, Aunt
9:34 Poly's, which I do not think is open. It
9:36 used to be a restaurant over there.
9:37 We'll check that out as well. Mark Twain
9:40 was board Samuel Clemens in 1835. I
9:43 didn't realize this till Greg just
9:44 pointed it out. But Fort Langghorn is
9:47 Samuel Clemens middle name. Why did I
9:50 never put two and two together till he
9:51 mentioned that? That's interesting. The
9:53 time for a while that this waterhe never
9:55 stopped running, but I haven't seen it
9:56 running in a while. But I don't think
9:58 it's ever going to run again. It
9:59 probably, you know, honestly, yeah, that
10:00 thing that that the running of that
10:02 waterhe come to an end. The first boat
10:05 of the day is starting to load up. You
10:07 got Tom loves Becky. You got the
10:09 painting of the fence. Now, this was
10:10 Aunt Paul Polly's, which was a little
10:12 quick service place over here. I'd kind
10:14 of hoped in the last couple weeks of
10:15 this attraction, the island, being open,
10:17 that they would have Aunt Polly's open
10:19 for business. Does not appear like
10:22 that's going to happen, but there are
10:23 some chairs out here. And I'd imagine
10:25 we're going to probably spend a majority
10:26 of our time just sitting right over here
10:28 at these tables and not looking like
10:30 Aunt Polly's is going to make its grand
10:34 return before its grand closure. The
10:36 window is all pulled down, but there are
10:39 some refreshments. Oh, there are some
10:41 refreshments over here that you could
10:43 get a drink. However, it appears as if
10:46 every one of these drinks is sold out.
10:49 Sold out. So, no Coca-Cola beverages or
10:53 water from inside of there. That says
10:56 sold out. I think this one might be as
10:58 well. I think Well, kind of hard to see
11:00 what that says. It just say it's uh
11:03 I can't tell what that says. And even
11:05 though Aunt Pauly's is not open, I am
11:07 enjoying a piping hot caffeinated
11:09 beverage right here at the former quicks
11:12 service restaurant, A Polly's over at
11:15 the island. Cheers.
11:18 Cheers to you, A Polly.
11:20 Just a couple days, I'll be in another
11:22 country in route to another country. I
11:25 will not be here on July 6th, which is
11:27 the last full day that this island and
11:29 the boat will be open. Paid my respects
11:31 to the boat the other day. And now to
11:33 the island. But I would imagine the
11:34 final day on that July 6th, this place
11:37 will be quite the beehive of activity.
11:39 This is a better day to be here to kind
11:41 of say goodbye in my opinion. Do you
11:43 think if we mobile order some food
11:44 across the river that they would bring
11:46 it over? Dude, you think they'd bring it
11:48 over to us?
11:57 All right, Jeff is here. Hello. You want
11:58 to you want to give your opinions on the
11:59 uh the island the island leaving? Well,
12:02 I'm I'm sad to see the island leave, but
12:04 I'm looking forward to what's coming.
12:06 That's what I keep saying. I'm looking
12:07 forward to the future, but remembering
12:09 the past, right? And we have Disneyland.
12:10 We'll always have Disneyland. I am
12:13 grateful because I have the ability to
12:14 go coast to coast. I know some people
12:16 can't go to Disneyland, but if one of
12:19 the islands and rivers was to go away,
12:21 I'm glad it's this one and not Walt's
12:23 original one. I'm angry. I want angry. I
12:25 also think if the Mark Twain went away
12:27 and the original Tom Story Island, now
12:29 Pirates Layer went away, there would be
12:31 an uproar. People would be uh grabbing
12:34 pitchforks.
12:35 Well, maybe not. I don't know. I'm
12:37 curious to see what's going to happen
12:38 with the Liberty Bell. Yeah. Where will
12:41 it end up? There's rumors that it might
12:42 end up somewhere.
12:44 I think you and I should volunteer to
12:47 sail that thing across the ocean cuz
12:50 Disneyland Paris needs a new river boat.
12:52 How long of a boat ride would that be?
12:54 Video that would be a video that'd be
12:56 like a series be like 10 minutes because
12:58 it would sink right off the coast. But
13:00 it would be a good video anyway.
13:10 Ring that bell.
13:10 I like this shade spot here by the
13:11 barrel bridge.
13:21 These views are going to definitely be
13:21 missed. Again, I am looking forward to
13:24 the future, but these views are going to
13:25 be sorely missed. Yeah, look at this.
13:28 It's like a little shaded area. You got
13:30 this nice little breeze coming through
13:31 here.
13:33 We rested a little bit over in that
13:35 section. Grabbed a seat, just kind of
13:37 watch the rivers for a little bit. This
13:39 is closed off because seems to be
13:42 there's like a lizard right down there.
13:44 So evidently they closed this path off
13:46 because the of the lizard down there. A
13:48 little prehistoric lizard. I was
13:49 noticing and exploring was also noticing
13:52 that the gutters here have uh they've
13:54 seen some seen some things. If you look
13:57 the shingles are coming off uh up here
13:59 too. You can see where some of them were
14:00 popping. I mean I would imagine anything
14:02 that needs repaired. Why would you
14:04 repair it? Because the thing's closing.
14:06 So Oh, there's a lightning rod for
14:09 anyone that wants to know what a
14:10 lightning rod looks like. That's one
14:11 right there. So if it does get stormy
14:13 over here, they don't evac the island.
14:15 We won't get struck by lightning. It'll
14:17 hit that rod. Right. There is a water
14:20 fountain. In case I do run out of water,
14:22 I can refill my bottle here. Make sure
14:24 it's working. Yep, it's working. Okay,
14:26 good to know. Good to know. The famous
14:28 fence. It's the fence from the the
14:31 story.
14:32 They're painting the fence.
14:40 Yeah. cast members. What, 10 years ago
14:40 they stopped hiding the brushes or
14:41 giving the brushes out? Uh, I heard it
14:43 was like 2010 was about the last time
14:45 that they used to do it. So 15 years
14:48 ago.
14:50 It was just like a photo thing, right?
14:51 You couldn't paint the fence.
14:54 No, I'm sure the the paint brushes were
14:56 probably uh dipped. I don't know. I've
15:00 never seen them, but I imagine they were
15:01 probably dipped in white paint and just
15:03 left to dry. I don't remember that from
15:04 from my youth when I would come over
15:05 here. I never remember that, but I was
15:07 always kind of in a rush when I would
15:09 come over here cuz I wanted to do
15:10 everything else at Magic Kingdom. I
15:12 would show up here when I was young.
15:13 There was so much at Magic Kingdom I
15:15 wanted to do that I would come to the
15:16 island, but I wouldn't spend a heck of a
15:18 lot of time over here. Now, if the water
15:20 wheel was running, all these gears would
15:22 be turning. You get the nice soothing
15:24 sounds of the wood crunching against
15:26 each other. But all you hear in here
15:28 now, because the water wheel is not
15:29 running, there was a time when the water
15:31 wheel never stopped running. But right
15:33 now, since it is closing very, very
15:35 soon, they're probably not even going to
15:36 have this thing kicked on. But there is
15:38 an owl up there. You can hear it up. You
15:43 see it?
15:47 It's up there. I didn't realize there
15:47 was actually one in here. I thought it
15:48 was just a a sound effect. Oh, no. It's
15:50 right there. Yeah. Wow. I mean, I
15:53 thought I'm pretty sure I've seen the
15:54 owl before, but just totally forgot that
15:56 there was a real owl in here with its
15:59 demonic eyes flashing right there. You
16:01 see it flickering? I mean, he's not
16:02 demonic. I don't want I don't want to
16:05 say he's a demonic owl, but where's that
16:08 owl going to live? Where's that owl
16:09 going to go? He's going to be uprooted
16:11 from his home inside the inside the
16:14 water wheel.
16:22 It is really cool getting these views. I
16:22 do wish the water wheel was running as
16:24 some stagnant water down here now. Now,
16:27 maybe on the final day they'll have the
16:28 waterhe and anti open, but I don't know.
16:31 I wouldn't I wouldn't count on it cuz I
16:33 figured it'd already be open now. But
16:35 maybe they will just for the the final
16:37 day. I have to just wait and see and
16:39 watch others that'll be out here the the
16:41 final day to see that. But looks like
16:43 the Is the boat moving? Yeah, the boat's
16:44 moving. I thought I thought it was like
16:45 kind of stalling there for a minute, but
16:48 got the Frontier Land over there.
16:49 Country Bay. You even see the top side
16:51 of the Cheeky Rim. What' you say? Say
16:54 it's like a park within a park. You
16:55 know, I was just thinking that this is
16:57 where the way we're doing it is kind of
16:58 the way you need to experience the
17:00 island. You just come over here with no
17:03 other game plan and you just spend the
17:05 you just spend a lot of time. You soak
17:07 it in. I'm already noticing things.
17:08 Usually, I would be in such a rush to
17:10 get over to Haunted Mansion or Pirates
17:13 or something like that. I'm noticing
17:15 more while I'm over here. This probably
17:18 had water in it at some point. Like a
17:19 moat. Yeah. Look at this. You can see
17:21 where the concrete is. There had to have
17:23 been water in there.
17:26 Now there's nothing. What was the name
17:28 of the guy this is named after? This is
17:29 Harper's Mill. Harper's Mill. This
17:32 island really is. It's like its own
17:34 little world.
17:36 It's own little world in here. It's like
17:39 definitely going to be a missing piece
17:41 once this thing is removed.
17:48 Yeah, there had to have been water in
17:49 there at some point. I doubt they're
17:51 going to refill that for the final day.
17:54 Was there water in here originally?
17:55 There was.
17:57 I don't remember if there was. I don't
17:59 recall seeing it.
18:05 Oh, this it's closed. You can't go up.
18:05 Are you serious? Yeah, dude. It's
18:08 closed.
18:10 Dang it. You can't even go up in the
18:11 wind. It's closed. Just noticing.
18:15 You know what's cool, though? If you
18:16 come in here and you get really quiet,
18:19 it's like a really cool vibe. Listen.
18:30 You can hear it turning.
18:30 Listen to that. That's awesome.
18:37 You can see termites.
18:39 This is termites. They just gave up on
18:42 it.
18:44 on it.
18:46 Disney.
18:50 They're not as vicious. They chew up the
18:53 wood. Okay. I'm not getting the sounds
18:54 cuz they're talking. Oh, yeah. Right.
18:58 Step inside. Be quiet.
19:13 waters
19:13 again. Ryan will not stop talking. Got
19:17 the little crooked bridge. Let's go
19:18 across that. Wait. Oh, nope. Closed.
19:22 Is everything closed over here?
19:26 The island itself is open. We just keep
19:28 coming to water everywhere. I wonder why
19:32 this cave is open. You know what? I I'm
19:35 glad the cave's open. Can I make a
19:36 correction real quick? a little upset
19:38 cuz we came one time and both
19:40 Correction, this is not Harper's Mill.
19:41 This is just a windmill. Oh, just a
19:44 regular windmill. Okay. Is there
19:46 Harper's Mill on the island or just
19:47 Yeah, it was the other the other mill
19:49 that we saw over by the water wheel. The
19:51 water wheel the Look at this. There's a
19:53 bee. There's a bee right here. That's
19:55 just crazy. Be good. That's a bee right
19:58 there. Think there was water here at
20:00 some point, too. Like a little roaring,
20:01 not a roaring, but a stream going
20:03 downhill. All the water effects are off.
20:06 A lot of the stuff you can't even walk
20:08 through. They have the close signs up
20:10 through a lot of the a lot of the area.
20:12 Yeah, that's it's dried out. That's the
20:14 good It's dried out, which dude, they
20:16 haven't The last time I was here,
20:18 probably like a month and a half ago,
20:20 was the water off? They had all the
20:21 water was off. Really? And then one of
20:23 the caves was closed. Okay. And then the
20:27 um barrel bridge was closed as well. So,
20:30 they've just decided, let's just uh let
20:32 it run. Let's run it in B mode. It's in
20:34 B mode right now, dude. Maybe SEO. I
20:37 don't know. I don't know. If we were
20:39 able to go up inside there, we would
20:41 have exited down here. And there are
20:42 some real there's some really cozy
20:44 rocking chairs down here. Just a really
20:47 great areas where you could just sit,
20:50 just enjoy the ambiance vibe, if you
20:52 will. This is a good spot. You got
20:55 another one of the rafts. People have
20:56 already gone over for their visit. Maybe
20:59 some people on there. Maybe that was
21:00 their last visit.
21:08 kind of miss that sound. Got the
21:08 Missouri Marine Company here. Got a
21:11 little Missouri action which of course
21:14 which is where Mark Twain is from. Also
21:17 where Walt was from in Marceline,
21:19 Missouri. This is a little connection
21:21 with Walt and Mark Twain. You got the
21:23 little washboard
21:25 right here. That reminds me of Country
21:28 Bears. Oh wow. What the heck is this?
21:32 Look at this chair. This is one of the
21:34 greatest views. I think this chair might
21:37 uh Oh jeez. Don't sit in that chair.
21:40 That's a half rocker. That's a That's a
21:43 half rocker right there. Yeah. I'm also
21:45 noticing that the water is really really
21:47 high. This is This dock right here is
21:49 not a floating one. So you see the water
21:52 is just right there which means if it
21:54 was to rain a a extension or a
21:58 proficient amount of rain was to come up
21:59 here it would probably flood up onto
22:01 this dock
22:03 in
22:05 getting the crossing of the rafts over
22:07 there. They say it'll cross the streams
22:10 but you can cross the rafts going over
22:12 there. And you also getting a little
22:14 view of the construction. They're laying
22:15 down the new track at Big Thunder over
22:17 there. Big Thunder's not running. All
22:18 right. You can kind of hear the train
22:20 off in the distance. So, the train's
22:22 also going to be closing on the sixth,
22:25 but not completely. It's just not going
22:27 to do a grand circle. It's going to have
22:28 to go backwards. I'm hearing you can
22:31 hear it over there. You hear the ringing
22:33 of the bell.
22:38 Just ran into a couple over here and
22:38 they were saying, "Just think about it.
22:40 This will be the last time you'll be
22:42 able once the river boat closes and once
22:44 the island closes, you won't be able to
22:46 do any construction updates on Villains
22:48 Land back there, the train construction
22:51 or Big Thunder construction cuz anything
22:54 you see from anyone, not not only
22:56 myself, but everyone either comes over
22:58 the island, gets on the river boat to do
23:00 a little construction updates, no one's
23:02 going to know what's happening because
23:04 they won't you won't be able to see it
23:06 from any of the spots anymore after the
23:07 6th.
23:10 RIP
23:16 entrance with a small E. Well, it's
23:16 still a capital E, but it's a small E on
23:17 the end. Going to head over to Fort
23:20 Langghorn.
23:21 Samuel Clemen's middle name.
23:30 Oh, this thing's bouncing. It's like a
23:30 barrel bridge. It's like a barrel. Oh,
23:34 very bouncy.
23:44 Oh, you hear the soothing sounds, the
23:44 howl of the mansion behind us over
23:46 there. I was just saying every time I
23:49 get on, I always forget that this bridge
23:51 bounces. Always throws me away. Look at
23:54 that view. What kind of rock?
24:02 Get something heavy. That is a good view
24:02 coming around the riverbend right there.
24:04 Me move over just a little bit. Oh, look
24:06 at this. They also have they have this
24:09 uh flotation device here just in case in
24:13 case somebody were to fall in. You could
24:16 utilize that as a safety precaution.
24:18 Coming around the riverbend right
24:20 straight ahead front of Big Thunder. I
24:23 don't think they blow the horn here.
24:25 There are a couple key points that they
24:26 blow the horn of the the steam whistle,
24:29 but this isn't one of them. Should also
24:31 mention this is going to be a really
24:32 long video.
25:33 Thank you. Could almost reach out and
25:36 give each other a high five. We're so
25:37 close.
25:45 I always have this etiquette with
25:45 waving. So, we can wave right here, but
25:48 if there was ground right here and I
25:50 waved at someone in the park across
25:53 concrete from that close, they would not
25:55 wave back. They would go, "This guy's a
25:58 whack job." Take a look at this. You got
26:02 the Bowie Knife Company. That's David
26:05 Bowie. No, Bowie, Arizona is where Rambo
26:09 was born.
26:11 Or maybe it's Buoie. Buoie or Bowie? I'm
26:13 going to go with Bowie just so the story
26:15 is connected. But that's a true that's a
26:17 true story. All right. Well, you just
26:18 taking a little snoozeage in there.
26:21 You're going to be getting a lot of
26:22 sleep. You're not going to have anyone
26:23 bothering you after a while.
26:26 What do you got going on in here? You
26:27 take having some dreams. Oh, it's the
26:29 guard right there. It's the guard.
26:32 There's like a handkerchief right there.
26:38 You're not exactly doing the best job
26:38 guarding this place, sir.
26:45 Yeah, it's good. He's still alive. You
26:45 can see his chest right there breathing.
26:47 Oh, wow. There's a wasp. There's a wasp
26:50 right there. I don't know. The wasp came
26:51 out of his nose. That was I was trying
26:53 to show that his chest is breathing or
26:56 he's breathing, but his chest is moving.
26:58 Look right there. Like an animatronic.
27:01 His chest is going up and down. It only
27:02 took, you know, however many years I've
27:04 been coming to visit it. This area alone
27:09 is just amazing.
27:12 Blacksmith
27:13 tree starting to grow out of Yeah. Oh,
27:16 look at this. There's some sort of
27:17 animal horn
27:19 right there. This is the famous North
27:21 American horned alligator. What? What
27:24 type? Come here.
27:27 Quiet areas.
27:35 Look at this. Is so cool. I totally
27:35 forgot there was chickens in a horse's
27:37 rear end in here.
28:19 I'm kind of disappointed we didn't bring
28:19 any chess pieces or checker pieces. They
28:21 do have the boards. That would have been
28:24 definitely something good to do for a
28:25 little while while over here.
28:44 Yeah, the blacksmiths are retiring. The
28:44 dog down here wetting his whistle.
28:47 I thought
28:49 I thought these people were going like,
28:51 "Oh, I don't like that." It's the actor
28:53 they pay. They get chained up. Yeah. How
28:56 much do
29:00 I'm definitely glad that there are water
29:02 fountains everywhere through here. See
29:05 if this one works as well. Yep,
29:09 plenty of hydration.
29:11 There's also a nice little restroom
29:12 facility back here in Fort Lang Horn.
29:18 You got the US flag up top there.
29:33 Oh, here's a wishing well.
29:33 Look at this. oil. Not a wishing well,
29:34 but it's a well.
29:37 There probably was a rope here at some
29:39 point.
29:41 All right. Going to go up in the rifle
29:43 roost through here. Go up uh stairs here
29:48 to
29:50 Oh, yeah. There's noises in here. Oh, I
29:52 think it's real people, though. Going up
29:54 through
29:59 this little view from up here. Going to
29:59 go up higher, though. Flip to the roost
30:03 as well.
30:04 What's down here? Oh yeah. Look at this.
30:09 They got the powder right here. Wow.
30:13 Still got one right here. Look.
30:16 Look at this.
30:18 How cool is that?
30:21 They've removed all the other ones. Only
30:23 one left.
30:33 I can't imagine on the last day this
30:33 place is going to be hard to walk around
30:35 in. Look, people have carved their names
30:37 up in there. All up the top there. It's
30:40 probably frowned upon, but people have
30:42 done it over the years.
30:44 Definitely got to get up in the caves or
30:46 go through the caves. That's definitely
30:48 a cool little thing. The island Fort
30:50 Lang Horn and the and the caves are
30:52 probably the two best things on the
30:54 island.
30:57 You use cotton when utilizing the cannon
31:00 here, which is pointed at
31:05 construction at Big Thunder.
31:09 There's workers over there. Probably
31:10 have no idea, right?
31:24 Oh, I can hear I can You can hear the
31:24 burning cabin. The burning cabin's over
31:27 there.
31:29 Look at the crackling of the burning
31:31 cabin. I don't think there's any way to
31:33 see it though
31:36 without being on the boat, which I'm not
31:37 going on the boat today.
31:40 These look like pencils.
31:54 Burning cabins over there somewhere.
31:54 Very
32:04 cool. Let's keep going.
32:04 It gets hot in these shinies.
32:15 Do these work? They should. Come over to
32:15 this one. That one works. Yeah. Yeah.
32:18 So, does the one on the other side of
32:20 the building? Wait. Adam Woo. Yeah.
32:22 Okay. How you doing? How are you? Oh,
32:26 wow. It's like pointed right at the
32:27 river boat.
32:29 Look at that. Wow. That's like enter
32:32 Disney violence. Yeah.
32:35 Don't want to do that. That's the That's
32:36 not That's not good, man. This is a cool
32:39 view. Look at this. That is so awesome.
32:43 So cool.
33:04 Find the marked way. Noticing on this
33:04 there is no number for the island. I
33:07 thought maybe they didn't have it
33:09 coinciding over here on the guide map.
33:11 However, if you look closely, it is
33:13 number 28. Oh, you know what? The dock
33:17 where you board the the rafts over is
33:20 28. showing going to the island and it
33:23 says temporary refurbishment for Big
33:25 Thunder and right below it Tom Sawyer
33:27 Island
33:29 says brave this Mark Twain inspired
33:31 hideout.
33:37 That's what we're doing. We're braving
33:37 it. This map will be a collector's item
33:42 I'm probably not going to take it
33:43 though. Probably just throw it away.
33:45 We're going to go through the escape
33:47 tunnel now, which goes down into the
33:50 bowels of Fort Lang. Got to watch your
33:53 step.
33:54 I've been through here before, but I
33:56 don't really remember what's down here.
33:57 How much we're going to be able to
33:58 actually see into the caves.
34:05 We should be able to see this camera
34:05 pick up. They pick up low light really
34:06 well.
34:12 I think this is the one that gets really
34:12 really tight if I remember. This is one
34:14 of the other ones. I'm not thin. I like
34:17 I'm I'm getting thicker. Yeah, this Oh,
34:22 it's definitely got a little little
34:23 scrunched through here.
34:28 What was that? Did you step on a leak?
34:31 It was my water bottle squirt. Sure it
34:34 was.
34:47 it's a little warmer in here, doesn't
34:47 it? Yeah, a little humid. The other ones
34:50 I think we have
34:52 a little bit of AC, maybe some air
34:54 pumped.
34:57 Oh, I didn't know that was This is what
34:58 I tighten tighter. You know, you could
35:01 you could do like a scare zone through
35:03 here and you can just take your water
35:04 bottle and
35:06 scrunch it up and down the
35:10 Ah, we made it. We made it.
35:14 I think somebody else is just scraping
35:15 their water bottle, too. You were smart.
35:17 You brought rations. I brought rations
35:20 and I'm hoarding them all.
35:23 There he is. The his friend Joe Harper
35:26 right here. that this here deserted
35:28 grist mill was named after his friend
35:30 Joe Harper. It's about to be really
35:33 deserted. I mean, it's kind of deserted
35:35 now, but in a couple weeks it's going to
35:37 be fullon deserted. Dangers alligators
35:41 and snakes in this area. Stay away from
35:44 the water,
35:45 which means you go over the barrel
35:47 bridge right there, you'll be very close
35:49 to snakes and gators possibly. Still got
35:51 to go over the
35:53 the bridge. But for now, we're going to
35:55 relax over here at Ant the closed anti
35:58 again. No rain in sight. It's almost
36:01 2:00. We're almost 3 hours into this
36:03 excursion. 91° at MK.
36:11 I think we're about to have a passage
36:11 read to us by Greg. Very exciting. No,
36:14 no pressure, dude. This is the uh third
36:17 paragraph of the preface. Although my
36:20 book is intended mainly for the
36:21 entertainment of boys and girls, I hope
36:24 it will not be shunned by men and women
36:26 on that account. For part of my plan has
36:28 been to try to pleasantly remind adults
36:31 of what they were once themselves and
36:33 how they felt and thought and talked and
36:36 what interesting enterprises they
36:38 sometimes engaged in. Mark Twain,
36:42 Hartford, 1876.
36:44 It's kind of the same uh Walt kind of
36:46 had that same type of thought process
36:48 also. Yeah. All right. It appears as if
36:52 even though this says exit only,
36:53 everyone's going this direction because
36:56 over there it's closed. So, we're going
36:58 to walk across the barrel bridge here.
37:02 Oh, wow. This is uh this is really
37:04 something here. This is uh a lot more
37:06 shaky than I was thinking it would be.
37:08 But you get a pretty good view of the
37:10 Haunted Mansion. East Coast version of
37:14 the mansion. It's kind of kind of You
37:16 got to get your sea legs. You got to get
37:18 your sea legs on that thing.
37:26 All right. Got to continue going across
37:26 with the sights and sounds of the
37:28 mansion. And this is a lot harder to
37:30 walk across than I was think. Oh, I was
37:34 That thing is so shaky. Wow. The barrel
37:37 bridge.
37:38 Wow.
37:41 This is something. It is something right
37:45 The barrel bridge. Years ago, you used
37:47 to be able to walk past that rope there
37:48 and stand over there and get a photo
37:50 with the mansion, but they have kind of
37:52 they've roped it off where you can't get
37:54 over there to get that really good get a
37:56 really good photo standing right there
37:58 with the mansion behind it. And this
38:01 area over here on the map is designated
38:04 Smugglers Cove. It was like a little
38:06 cove here kind of tucked away on the
38:09 little section of the bridge. You got
38:10 the castle off in the distance over
38:12 here. Here on the top of the hill, you
38:14 can kind of look down at the launch for
38:16 the rafts down there as well. Kind of
38:18 we're like way up top here. You got the
38:20 mansion over there. Getting a look once
38:22 again at the windmill over here and
38:25 where the water is no longer. So, this
38:28 is
38:30 on
38:32 this is looking down.
38:35 Oh, spring. Spring. I just heard both
38:38 both whistles go.
38:44 This area up here is called Fidgety
38:44 Ledge. I just looked it up on the map.
38:47 That's right. I was confused as you are,
38:48 bird. You like looked at me. Guess you
38:50 were confused by the name Fidgety Ledge.
38:52 But there are picnic tables up here as
38:55 well. You could definitely spend I
38:57 almost just tripped over a route. You
38:59 could definitely spend some time up here
39:01 in Fidgety Ledge.
39:04 Nice. the
39:06 picnic table here. Again, there could be
39:09 alligators and snakes. Crazy if there
39:12 was a gator slithering up the side of
39:14 the the hill here. Oh, here's a another
39:18 picnic table at the top
39:22 right there.
39:24 I believe this is one of the roped off
39:26 areas. Not really sure why so much is
39:29 roped off, but yeah, you can't go
39:34 can't go up or down this. This is
39:36 leading down to that little water area
39:38 with the the bridge,
39:41 the barrel bridge.
39:43 And poor old Jim Shack right there.
39:48 There is a sprinkler system right here
39:50 on this very lengthy metal pole. And
39:54 here is a decoy decoy rock. around
39:58 another piece of concrete. Start your
39:59 day off a little more right there. But
40:01 there's a big tall
40:04 sprink
40:11 called Tom Sawyer Scavenger Fort right
40:11 up here. It's like a little kind of a
40:12 little playground area at the very very
40:14 top of the hill. I love this. They have
40:16 a little crow's nest that if you wanted
40:18 to, you could get inside the the crow's
40:20 nest here and look over at the windmill
40:23 and the reefer that's happening on Big
40:25 Thunder Mountain Railroad. And there is
40:28 a a pirates flag right there. Kind of
40:32 waving in the breeze. There's really not
40:33 much of a breeze right now. The Chris
40:34 Mill is down. Is it Crist or Grist?
40:37 Grist. This is the retention pond/water
40:42 bubbling up area that's supposed to go
40:44 down that, right? It feeds the grist
40:46 mill. So that if this were running, if
40:48 that was open and there was enough water
40:50 running through it, theoretically, if it
40:52 was a legit grist mill, Yeah. then the
40:54 uh go into there, it would start
40:56 spinning. The wheel would be spinning.
40:58 But it hasn't been running in a while,
40:59 and now it's just basically turned into
41:01 a mosquito haven over here. This is uh I
41:06 don't know what's could be living in
41:07 that right there. Cool gator.
41:14 On on the final day of this, how many
41:14 people you think are going to get a
41:15 selfie in front of this thing on the the
41:18 last day on July 6th? We're the only
41:20 ones filming this. If you guys return, I
41:22 want to see a bunch of selfies. I won't
41:24 be returning. This will be your This is
41:26 your last time. This is my last time in
41:27 front of the uh this high school. Okay,
41:29 let's get let's all get a selfie right
41:31 here in front of the mosquito. Yeah, but
41:33 when I do it, I've got to pay the HOA
41:35 300 bucks.
41:37 Tom Sawyer's HOA. Crooked Bridge still
41:41 closed. And we're lucky we got over here
41:43 on the first raft because you can't even
41:47 go in here now. They have a trash can.
41:50 All right. Gonna go into the caves now.
41:54 This is the caves. I will say it's very
41:56 humid in here. Very, very humid and warm
41:59 inside of here. And it really does have
42:02 a quite a interesting vibe through here.
42:04 It has like a say like an odor, but it
42:07 definitely has its own sense of smell.
42:10 Smells like through here. It's mildwy,
42:12 right? It is a little mild. It has like
42:14 a little mildewage. It does. I don't
42:16 feel like that airflow that I was
42:18 talking about. Now, the escape hatch
42:20 over at Fort Langghorn didn't have this
42:21 smell. No. But evidently, this is a Mark
42:24 Twain Engine Joe smell through here. It
42:27 smells just like
42:34 That's the name of the cave.
42:34 Oh, I forgot how cool this is. Look,
42:36 they like this is really cool. I missed
42:39 what you said. I just
42:41 just hang out in here the rest of the
42:42 time. Ah, this is this is where it gets
42:45 a little wonky though. Oh, this is the
42:48 Yeah, this is one of those rooms you see
42:49 at like the fairs and things. Yeah.
42:51 Where it's like, are you walking uphill
42:53 or downhill?
43:00 Mystery cave. That's it. The mystery
43:00 cave. Yeah, mystery cave. I always call
43:01 it a cave of wonders cuz
43:04 because one time I came in here and
43:05 threw a whole bunch of coins at someone.
43:13 This is great.
43:16 See this
43:23 where the treasure is. If you had to
43:23 guess, what's the humidity level in
43:25 here? All of it.
43:28 It's It's
43:30 Yes. I started I just started sweating
43:33 profusely. Profusely. Well, the good
43:35 news is you're still sweating. So, you
43:37 know, I guess I'm a liar cuz I I swear
43:40 there was air moving through here. No,
43:42 there's none. Not today.
43:46 There's flowing water.
43:49 But that is a completely different like
43:53 why do they have water on here but
43:54 nowhere else?
43:57 coming down the side of the wall right
43:58 there. Love the jewels right there.
44:12 You see the water flows. The water flows
44:15 underneath that through the wall.
44:19 Oh my god. It is very hot.
44:23 Humidity level like 180 180% in here at
44:27 least to how it was in
44:30 hot. Yeah. At least for like a week.
44:44 Well, we had some We had some uh
44:44 something. Yeah.
44:51 Just chill.
44:51 Oh, you're good.
44:52 Somebody else was like documenting this,
44:54 too. If you turn the corner, look how
44:55 cool this looks. And now Ryan's in my
44:58 the frame.
45:04 Look how cool this looks.
45:04 On a ledge,
45:06 you guys. This is not the way we came
45:08 in, is it? No, I'm just going to This is
45:10 the precursor to haunt season. Going to
45:12 give a strobe light warning here because
45:14 it is flickering. Okay, good. Smile.
45:16 Wow, that looks so wild. How at an angle
45:18 they are caught you off guard. You can
45:21 get your sea legs through here. Yeah,
45:23 this is as well. Slightly crooked in
45:25 here. Yeah, just like they like it.
45:34 And this is awesome. You know what I
45:34 mean? I just do the video and I'm like,
45:35 crap.
45:38 This is the money shot right here. Yeah.
45:42 Dude, every time I come here, it reminds
45:43 me of Willy Wonka when they're walking
45:45 in that room. Yes. Right. It gets
45:48 smaller and smaller. Yeah. And it's got
45:50 like the angles, too.
45:57 Okay, let's just
45:57 let it just be the ambiance for a
45:58 minute.
46:29 Okay, maybe more than a minute. More
46:29 than a minute.
46:31 This is the start.
46:39 Who's going first? Am I going first?
46:40 I'm going. I'm going now.
46:46 Don't go down there. Don't go down
46:46 there. Joe's driving that way.
46:49 Never say we'll be right back.
46:52 There's still another cave we haven't
46:54 been in. So, we went in Tom Sawyer's
46:55 cave, but we didn't go in Joe's cave.
46:58 Where's Tom or Tom's Landing? This is
47:00 where we are now. How about old
47:01 Scratchy's Mystery Mine? Who's old
47:04 Scratchy? That's where we went. That's
47:07 where we saw the jewels. The Rick stuff.
47:10 Yeah, Goonies reference. I do have the
47:12 book. Oh, he has the book. But I also
47:13 have to sit in the rocking chair ledge
47:17 up on the ledge here. A little stoop
47:19 here. The side of the ledge
47:22 engine. Is that what it was? Right
47:24 there. You about to read from the book.
47:27 So this is from chapter 30. Walls were
47:28 supported by many fantastic pillars
47:31 which had been formed by the joining of
47:33 great stellagmites and stellagmites
47:35 together. The result of ceaseless water
47:38 dripping of centuries.
47:41 So, we're going to see all the
47:43 stelactites and the stagites
47:46 inside
47:48 of the kingdom.
47:50 The raft drew beyond the middle of the
47:52 river. The boys pointed her head right
47:54 and then lay on their ores. The river
47:57 was not high, so there was not more than
47:59 a two or three mile current. Hardly a
48:02 word was said during the next 3/4 of an
48:05 hour. Now, the raft was passing before
48:07 the distant town. Two or three
48:10 glimmering lights showed where it lay.
48:13 Peacefully sleeping beyond the big vast
48:16 sweep of stargeemmed water. Unconscious
48:19 of the tremendous event that was
48:21 happening. The black Avenger stood still
48:24 with folded arms, looking his last upon
48:27 the seed of his former joys and later
48:30 sufferings, and wishing she could see
48:32 him now abroad of the wild sea, facing
48:36 peril and death with a gauntless heart.
48:39 That's a lot of not a lot. That's a lot
48:41 of words for me. You look good though.
48:44 Great timing, dude. You just read
48:48 the words of Mark Twain as the Liberty
48:51 Bell went by right there.
48:58 It's dark. Actually, this camera picks
48:58 up the light better than the human eye.
49:01 Yeah, mine doesn't. Mine sort of does.
49:05 All this is a column. Okay.
49:09 Oh, there's two choices. This one has
49:11 the wind, too. Yep.
49:14 The wind effect. This is a dead end. But
49:16 look at this. There's carvings
49:19 through here. You got a star.
49:22 Got like a eagle. Got some rocks.
49:26 There's some stelacttites and whatnot.
49:28 It's very very Oh, wow. Some Dang, look
49:31 at that. I can't squeeze through that
49:34 little tunnel. It just stops right
49:36 there. Huh? I thought it was a path.
49:40 Here's like a fish. Some fish bow. Oh
49:42 no. Look at this. This fish has like
49:45 sharp teeth and a mouth here. My gosh,
49:48 dude. Look at that. Dude,
49:51 there's a star fish right up above it,
49:53 too. Right there. And there's more like
49:57 It's probably hard to see cuz it's so
49:59 this one right here. This is like a
50:00 dinosaur.
50:02 It really is. here.
50:04 And if you go a little further, it looks
50:06 like there's some colors.
50:10 I never knew
50:14 there's a lot of housing in there, too.
50:27 A spooky face.
50:27 This is like the wind. Couple spooky
50:29 faces.
50:31 I forgot about the spooky faces.
50:39 This is always creepy in the world. Oh
50:39 yeah. Wow.
50:42 I forgot about this too.
50:44 Look at these caves.
50:47 That's awesome.
50:52 Yeah, there's like two faces with the
50:54 nose and the mouth.
51:01 Amazing. Totally
51:01 forgot about this cave
51:04 because there's no entry sign anymore.
51:07 That's what it is, dude. Speaking of
51:11 wonder how many people actually climbed
51:13 up there and got
51:15 Is this the wishing well? It's Troy up
51:31 Lighting in here is so
51:31 boys room in here. It's perfect. I mean,
51:33 the world's a boy.
51:41 Yeah, this is a this is a good cave.
51:42 Awesome.
52:05 Heat.
53:21 I love that these caves are so
53:21 long. Like you can take your time.
53:27 I love this. Oh, this is where you make
53:27 a wish, man.
53:37 This kind of has that Temple of Doom. I
53:37 was thinking the same thing. Indie
53:39 Temple of Doom. Totally Temple of Doom
53:41 feel.
54:07 All right, let's go again. It's time for
54:07 my shadow to go back across the Oh, wow.
54:10 back across the barrel bridge.
54:14 Oh, wow.
54:16 I don't know why this is a lot more
54:18 difficult than it looks. I've already
54:19 stated that, but it is a Yeah, it's
54:22 something going across here.
54:44 Got two hours to go. Two hours to go.
54:44 We've been on this uh island for 5
54:46 hours.
54:47 Five solid hours.
54:50 Thank goodness.
54:58 Give me the bell. Thank you.
54:58 That's what's up.
55:10 They said island's fine, but the one
55:10 foreclosed. Oh, bad weather. We can't
55:12 go. We've already said our last goodbyes
55:14 to Fort Langghorn, I guess. Bad weather
55:17 coming in. Wow. Fort Langghorn is
55:20 officially
55:23 Dang, that's weird though. Inclement
55:26 weather, but they only close down at 4.
55:29 Yeah, that's that's very strange. But
55:32 what inclement weather? So that mean
55:34 Dude, we only got an hour and 40 hour
55:36 and 15 minutes. It's already 4:45.
55:39 Island closes at 6:00. So, I think I
55:42 think I've seen my last Fort Langorn.
55:47 There's a storm. Storm coming. Thank
55:50 you.
55:53 I guess we uh we did say you have a shoe
55:56 down. Yeah, somebody lost their shoe.
56:01 Wonder if that shoe will make the
56:02 transformation over into Cars Land. I
56:05 think it will. It's going to be one of
56:06 those uh you know, highlight Easter
56:08 eggs. Needs to be an Easter egg.
56:13 really uh looking forward to spending
56:13 the last hour back in Fort Langghorn,
56:16 but sad trombone that is not going to
56:19 happen. So, we got to find something
56:21 else to do for the next hour, hour five
56:23 minutes. Hello again, Owl.
56:26 How you doing up there?
56:29 Good to see you.
56:39 kind of interesting. So you got a poly's
56:40 which is closed the refreshments but up
56:41 the top of the hill it's called Hickory
56:44 Switch Hill and a switch back in the day
56:46 is something that you would you would
56:47 take a switch and you would you would
56:49 paddle your youngans with. Yeah. You
56:51 would take a switch and that's named
56:52 after spare the rod spoil the child uh
56:56 thought process. Also look at all this
56:58 massive hill here. Just all this green
57:00 space and down at the bottom of it right
57:02 down here. I don't know what that is.
57:05 It's like a circular thing full of mud.
57:09 I don't know what that is. You know
57:11 what? Now that now that we say that, it
57:13 might rain. It feels like it's coming in
57:16 pretty quick. Maybe they were Maybe they
57:17 know something we didn't know. Maybe
57:18 they uh maybe they are going to close
57:20 the island out for the ride. We got 1
57:21 hour left. We got 1 hour left.
57:28 There's a lot of people on the boat now
57:28 as the day starts to get a little a
57:30 little longer. This guy's wearing a
57:32 Flynn's arcade shirt from Tron. Over
57:34 here is kind of interesting, too. It
57:35 looks like it used to be a boat dock of
57:37 some sort at one point. Maybe like where
57:38 one of the other rafts would have uh at
57:41 some point when it got really busy,
57:42 they'd have another raft over there, but
57:44 they boarded it up and now it's just an
57:46 area that's not really being used.
57:48 Random stump right here. There's also
57:50 all these little metal signs. Great
57:52 overland mail room. Ooh, there's a
57:54 dragonfly right there's a dragonfly.
57:56 Boat has not left yet. There is guy over
57:59 there. Cast member over there. The cast
58:01 member on the on the boat said that she
58:04 thinks this is the last one. Yep. Okay.
58:05 Yeah, you got their they're uh doing the
58:08 pushoff right there. All the cast
58:10 members. So, this is definitely the last
58:12 uh the last one. So, this is definitely
58:14 the last one then. All right. See you
58:18 later, Tom's landing.
58:20 I know. I was like I was ready. That's
58:25 First one on,
58:27 last one off.
58:35 They just patrolled the restrooms. They
58:35 went in the men's to see if anyone was
58:37 hiding. They went in the women's to see
58:39 if anyone was hiding.
58:41 Oh, they're all coming. All the cast
58:42 members are coming over with us. So,
58:43 definitely the last one.
58:56 All righty, y'all. Welcome back. You
58:56 know the drill. This is a free floating
58:58 raft. There are going to be some bumps
59:00 and cuffs. Make sure we are holding
59:02 longer than that. Make fully standing at
59:04 all times. Keep your hands on feet and
59:06 legs inside the turn. Please watch your
59:09 little ones.
59:30 6:25.
59:30 Getting the last boat over. Back over to
59:33 this. This will all be gone as well.
59:35 Some big big changes.
59:38 Big changes. The biggest expansion Magic
59:40 Kingdom's ever had in the history of
59:42 being open since 1971.
59:45 Pretty wild. They still have the Ant
59:47 Polly sign refreshments even though they
59:49 weren't open. Blue sign right there.
59:51 People taking photographs up here.
59:53 What's going to happen to all this
59:54 stuff?
1:00:10 Nice work. Nice work. I think we should
1:00:10 pop her off. I think we should too.
1:00:12 Every single time. Every time. I like
1:00:15 this guy.
1:00:21 All righty. has been an honor. Thank you
1:00:21 for coming. Exit to the right and watch
1:00:23 your stuff.
1:00:26 Weird. 7 hours and 25 minutes over
1:00:28 there. I didn't even feel like the other
1:00:30 rest of the park even existed other than
1:00:32 just kind of peeking over there. It's
1:00:35 almost like you're just in your own
1:00:36 world after all that.
1:00:39 7 and a half. Let's call it 7 hours 25
1:00:41 minutes on the island. First boat over.
1:00:45 First raft over. First raft back.
1:00:48 did it. The next time I'm back in Magic
1:00:51 Kingdom, we'll be back after I get back
1:00:52 from
1:00:54 international travels.
1:00:57 This will probably be all walled up, but
1:00:59 I did it.
1:01:10 Thanks for watching.
1:01:10 I'll see you in the next video, the
1:01:12 vlog.
1:01:14 That was Ryan. He just went by us in the
1:01:17 tram while we're walking.
1:01:21 The vlog
