Halloween Time At Disneyland Has Spooky New Treats To Eat & Scary Rides -Night Time Fun With Friends

0:02 Today's adventure begins as the
0:02 recording of this Monday, September 8th,
0:04 2025. I'm standing in the parking
0:07 structure here at the Disneyland Resort,
0:08 getting ready to walk over to the park
0:10 for a little Halloween time. Disneyland
0:13 proper, Walt's original Magic Kingdom
0:14 has dressed the park for Halloween. Now,
0:18 I was over at DCA. If you look closely,
0:20 you can see the fun wheel Pixar pal
0:23 around. Now, they call it California
0:24 Screaming, now called the Credit
0:26 Coaster. I went there for OogieOogie
0:28 Bash, but did not go into Disneyland.
0:31 And fun fact, OogieOogie Bash actually
0:33 started before the technical beginning
0:36 of Halloween time at Disneyland. So, I'm
0:39 back. Parked my rental car over here in
0:42 the structure
0:44 and I'm heading down into Disneyland for
0:48 Halloween time. That's the title they
0:50 give it. This bridge has been here for a
0:52 few years now. But I recall the night
0:55 they put it in, seeing them post about
0:56 it online and it's shown up the next day
0:58 and the bridge was in. It was a few
1:00 years ago now. Used to have to walk
1:02 across the road over there and then they
1:05 installed a bridge. It makes it a lot
1:06 easier to go from the Mickey and Friends
1:08 and the Pixar parking structure over
1:11 through Downtown Disney and into the
1:13 park. It's been a while since I parked
1:15 over in the structure. I usually will
1:17 stay either on property or just off
1:19 property. cross on harbor and walk
1:22 across Harbor Boulevard instead of
1:24 parking a rental car, but this time
1:26 staying a few miles away from the park.
1:30 So, experiencing the structure and the
1:32 walk over to Downtown Disney once again.
1:34 Ah, memory. He's done this so many
1:36 times. So many times. Welcome everyone.
1:38 Adam the Woo here. I am wearing an
1:42 appropriate t-shirt I purchased
1:43 yesterday at the Creepy Econ. A vendor
1:46 had this really cool hatbox ghost and
1:48 then the skeleton versions of the Disney
1:50 characters.
1:53 Definitely appropriate what they're
1:55 doing over here.
1:57 There is an interest. Doesn't look too
1:59 busy at this time frame. It is a little
2:01 warm, however. Let me show the Halloween
2:04 time signs. See, it started back on
2:06 August 22nd, few days after, well, maybe
2:10 the next day, a couple days after Ogie
2:12 Boogie Bash started,
2:14 and it's happening over at DCA. Don't
2:16 know if I'll pop in DCA, but definitely
2:17 going to pop in Disneyland, see the
2:20 Mickey pumpkin, and possibly some bats
2:24 floating around. I'm lurking in the
2:26 shadows just simply because it's really
2:27 hot in that sun. Got to see what the
2:28 temperature is. Nonetheless,
2:31 the way the day leads, I'm inviting you
2:33 to join me as I step out into the sun.
2:36 Shall you get back in the shade? Let's
2:38 go under the archway here at Downtown
2:40 Disney. Of course, Florida they call it
2:42 Disney Springs. Here they call it
2:43 Downtown Disney. And in Paris they call
2:46 it Disney Village still, but here
2:48 Downtown Disney. Going over the archway
2:51 and heading in from this direction.
2:52 Something I haven't done in a while.
2:54 Refreshing. is a cool crisp 88° at the
2:58 moment out here. Now, once the thing is
2:59 nice about California, once the sun
3:01 starts to go down, which will happen
3:02 probably in a few hours, it'll be a
3:03 little little more tolerable and really,
3:05 really nice. Also, the 70th anniversary
3:07 of the park, and I celebrated that
3:09 already, and now I'm here, well,
3:10 continually celebrating it this year for
3:11 the 70th, but also going to be
3:13 celebrating a little Halloween goodness.
3:16 And as I walk in, the first thing I want
3:18 to do is walk over to the emporium and
3:20 see if there's any new merchandise that
3:21 wasn't out the last time I was over in
3:23 here. Usually they'll throughout the
3:24 season they'll dump more stuff over
3:26 there as well. But seeing the Mickey
3:28 pumpkin with the ears, it's like the big
3:29 pumpkin that's like as you're walking
3:30 down the middle of well right down the
3:32 start of Main Street USA. You got the
3:34 omnibus going by. And then you got the
3:36 you got the Mickey pumpkin which is on
3:38 merchandise as well. It's kind of the
3:39 icon of Main Street during Halloween
3:41 time as they are referring it as. And as
3:44 I do pop over into the emporium, you got
3:46 a pumpkin spice and everything nice. It
3:48 is so warm at 87°. This is probably not
3:51 what you want to be wearing. The good
3:52 thing about Cal Florida or California
3:53 versus Florida, I feel like I'm just
3:56 like shaking this hand, but it cools
3:58 down after dark. So, it'll be a
4:00 different temperature after dark and a
4:01 little little coolness in there and less
4:02 humidity, but don't think I'll be buying
4:05 that as much as I do like, you know,
4:07 pumpkin spice and everything. Nice. So,
4:10 quick stroll through the Emporium. I do
4:11 want to go over to Frontier Land and
4:12 check out the check out the pin
4:14 selection and get a get a Halloween time
4:17 pin while I'm in here. over into the
4:19 Frontier Land Trading Post. You can hear
4:22 the shooting arcade beside me. 25 years
4:25 of collecting pens. And I just want to
4:27 see the I think I might actually have a
4:30 couple of these. Maybe I've already
4:30 bought some of these. I think I might
4:32 have got these. No, I don't have these.
4:34 Look at the Donald and Daisy right
4:36 there. That's neat. You know what? I
4:38 don't have this one. No, I don't have
4:40 that one. I've seen that one already,
4:42 but I think these came out since I don't
4:45 think I have that Mickey. I might have
4:46 to get that Mickey right there.
4:52 He has the fog collection of the
4:52 synagogue. That's really cool. Oh, I
4:55 like this little stand up here. It's in
4:56 front of the pioneer merkantile. There's
4:58 Stitch with his little I guess that
5:00 would be like a witch hat on and you got
5:01 some of the light up pumpkin blow mold.
5:03 Definitely can't take that on a plane,
5:05 however. But oh, check it out. There's a
5:07 trick pumpkin. That's really really cute
5:09 of the Mickey ears right there. And
5:10 around the back it says trickor treat.
5:12 Very cool. Very cool. It's a guide map.
5:14 I asked if that they had an exclusive
5:16 guide map for the food and the cast
5:18 member just said go on the the
5:21 Disneyland app and they will have all
5:22 the food listed. But here's a general
5:24 layout of the land for Halloween time.
5:27 And there are a couple foods listed here
5:29 like little snacky things like you know
5:31 rice meatball slider and things like
5:34 that. But they don't have all the food
5:36 listed here. So I'm going to have to I'm
5:37 going to have to to refer to the app.
5:40 Look at look at Mickey and Minnie.
5:42 That's their 70th guard. There's their
5:43 Halloween garb. So, Halloween garb mixed
5:46 the 70th fashion sets. All right, I'm
5:50 sitting over here in Frontier Land
5:52 looking at the Disney parks blog,
5:56 looking at all the different different
5:57 food items. Kind of leaning towards some
5:59 Haunted Heatwave Pizza, but there is
6:02 like a whole bunch of stuff around
6:04 Disneyland.
6:09 Trying to coersse Chris into having a
6:09 nice delicious treat with me. Like maybe
6:11 at Gibson girl a little bit later. Are
6:13 you in ice cream? You into ice cream?
6:14 >> No, I don't like ice cream.
6:16 >> You don't like ice cream?
6:17 >> No. Adam, everybody gets upset at me cuz
6:20 I don't like ice cream. It's just not my
6:21 thing. I just

9:04 spice bread stick. It's a set of them.
9:07 Two of them. So, Chris is going to try a
9:09 bread stick.

9:12 one of my favorite restaurants. I just
9:14 It's just not anymore.

14:43 got another I don't know if I eat the
14:44 fries, but I'll definitely eat the
14:45 haunted the haunted dog.

18:03 the uh cheese there

18:06 That is uh pretty dang tasty. Not a
18:09 Halloween item, but yeah, I took a bite
18:11 of it. It was pretty good.
18:12 >> Is it better than a Halloween item?
18:14 >> I think this might be better than the
18:15 two items I already had.
18:17 >> Well, the other one over at Galactic
18:18 Grill was like a little too breddy for
18:20 the amount of meat that was in there.
18:22 This is like the right proportion of
18:23 breading and meat.
18:23 >> What's the pretzel bun? It makes it
18:25 nice, too. I like that pretzel bun.
18:26 >> It's good. We were waiting here. I was
18:28 getting ready to wait to to say that
18:30 when the Montreal went by, but the
18:31 Montreal does not seem to be working
18:32 over here where the little miniature
18:34 boats used to be. We haven't seen the
18:36 Montreal the whole time we've been
18:37 sitting here.
18:38 Maybe it's too spooky for the Montreal
18:40 to be out. We're now over into Red Rose
18:42 Tavern. Going to get another couple del
18:45 Well, another delicious treat in here.
18:46 Non-savery. Kind of like Haunted Mansion
18:49 is one of your favorite rides.

24:09 never noticed this upside down bat right
24:12 here just kind of looming on the side of
24:13 the pillar as we go. 35minute wait. Not
24:17 too bad. You can see there's the queue.
24:19 You hear another train pulling into the
24:21 station. And here's like a I don't know.
24:24 I don't know what that's supposed to be,
24:25 but it's like a little blown glass right
24:28 there.

24:33 little chair of this little like wing
24:35 creature. So, we ended up going through
24:37 Haunted Mansion Holiday. I got to be
24:39 honest, I really prefer the original
24:40 Haunted Mansion over the holiday just
24:43 cuz I think like 5 months is a little
24:44 too long for the holiday to happen. But
24:46 however, I think the first couple times
24:49 you go on it for the year, this is my
24:50 first time for 2025 going on a Haunted
24:52 Mansion holiday. Really hits a little
24:54 bit different. It is really, really
24:56 great. I mean, I just I love Nightmare
24:58 Before Christmas. Love Jack Skeleton,
24:59 seeing Sally, Oogie Boogie, the whole
25:01 thing. It's just I One thing that's kind
25:03 of nice about in Florida is on Halloween
25:05 night, you can go on the original
25:06 Haunted Mansion. You can't do that here
25:07 cuz this runs starting midepptember
25:10 through New Year's. kind of a lengthy
25:12 thing, but but uh yeah, it's kind of
25:15 nice to go on it. Kind of nice to see
25:16 it. And the biggest thing when you when
25:18 you go through the one here is the cake
25:20 in the middle of the ballroom scene.
25:22 That's the one that you really It
25:23 changes every year. And this year's cake
25:25 was really really good. So I was able to
25:27 see the cake in the ballroom scene and
25:29 see Hatbox Ghost. Got stuck in front of
25:31 Hatbox for just a little bit. Got to see
25:33 Jack and Sally Sila beh Sally be behind
25:35 the tombstone and then see the singing
25:38 bus and go through all that and then go
25:40 out and see OogieOogie with his wheel
25:42 and then Chris Provos and I were in our
25:44 dune buggy. We were seen towards the
25:46 end. Then we're going to head over to
25:47 the Mint Jula Bar and get the
25:49 >> and get the uh beignet.

25:52 >> We got the pumpkin sized beignet with
25:54 the yummy
25:55 >> and Chris was nice enough to go back up
25:56 and get us. We forgot to get the dipping

35:09 purchase single single or singularly I
35:12 should say. But in order to get
35:14 Maleficent in the middle you have to buy
35:16 the box set. So I bought the box set
35:19 little Halloween time at Disneyland.
