0:07 on the corner of Heatley Avenue and East
0:10 Pender street I'm giving you those
0:12 coordinates that way later when I show
0:15 you the awesomeness of the location from
0:17 this Vlog you'll be able to go on

0:21 Google Street View what I'm about to
0:23 show you pardon the sleepiness in my
0:26 eyes I have just awoken here in
0:28 beautiful historic
0:30 area Vancouver
0:33 Canada and when you think of sleepiness
0:36 of the eyes I'm going to make a weird
0:38 transition here we try to tie this in
0:40 when you think of sleepiness you think
0:42 not only of dreams but also of
0:46 nightmares it's my second channel daily
0:48 blog channel it's the daily Stephen
0:52 King's It filming locations right here
0:57 on this block all around the 360 view
1:01 that I am giving you did you ever see
1:03 the movie it it was a miniseries I guess
1:06 you could call it a movie but it was a
1:08 minseries they put it out I think every
1:09 week or every few days or every month
1:11 back in 1990 it was written by Stephen
1:14 King I'm not really sure who directed it
1:16 but it is a terrifying movie A lot of
1:19 people in their minds a lot of their
1:21 fear of clowns probably came from the
1:23 clown Pennywise played by Tim Curry of
1:27 course from Rocky Horror Picture Show
1:29 Fame but he also played Pennywise the
1:31 Clown and right up here is one of the
1:33 famous scenes Beverly Marsh's home as a
1:37 child the flashbacks of childhood and
1:39 then later on when she was older all
1:42 happened right in here and prepare
1:44 yourself for
1:51 Pennywise he was right there at that
1:51 door right
1:53 there I'll tell you about that
1:54 momentarily but just remember Pennywise
1:57 will be appearing no no that's not Penny
1:59 wise wise that's not Penny Wise Penny
2:01 wise will be showing up to that door the
2:03 thing that's really cool a lot of this
2:05 area looks exactly the same as it did in
2:07 the movie including this this is really
2:09 cool look at these electrical wires
2:12 leading all the way down that's actually
2:13 pretty neat on its own take away the
2:16 movie filming location aspect but that's
2:19 just cool the way that
2:21 looks as well as this way you'll notice
2:24 this little alley right here was very
2:26 cool cuz when Beverly was a child a
2:29 couple guys were trying to win over her
2:30 heart and kind of a little chubby nerdy
2:33 kid he was quoting a poem and he wrote
2:36 it and gave it to the girl and she
2:38 thought it was the studly little guy
2:40 that she liked and it all got confused
2:43 and that little moment happened right in
2:44 here the poem moment do you remember
2:47 what the poem was that the guy wrote
2:49 down on the piece of paper and she
2:51 thought the other guy wrote so the other
2:53 guy ended up liking her too it was a
2:55 little confusing web of Deceit on it
3:00 young lovers young kids I think right
3:03 here is the sidewalk he rode his bike
3:05 down he rode his bike right off that way
3:08 Beverly was standing right here and
3:09 there as a small child and you can see
3:12 all this around us including this right
3:14 over here then she came back as an adult
3:16 to try to find her father who died 5
3:19 years earlier Oh by one by one more
3:21 little thing I want to show you this
3:22 railing right here is the exact railing
3:25 it's just repainted red but it's the
3:27 same exact railing and those doors right
3:31 there are the same exact doors now they
3:34 have some bar wire up look at this bar
3:38 wire there barb wire this area of
3:41 Vancouver I don't know how to say this
3:43 nicely but it's not exactly the best
3:46 area in town right there is East
3:48 Hastings if you go down this little
3:50 stretch at night last night we played a
3:52 show down the road not exactly the Crim
3:55 delm of Vancouver a lot of the Vancouver
3:57 folk see this is the kind of area you
3:59 want to stay wary of not because of the
4:02 people out there but because of Penny
4:04 wise right there is where Penny wise was
4:07 Tim Curry's character anyway Beverly
4:10 walked up to the door as an adult
4:13 knocked on the door on the side of this
4:15 wall over here there was all these
4:17 little
4:19 names all written on here of course it's
4:21 all been resurfaced so she knocked on
4:23 the door an older woman opened the door
4:26 and said your father's been dead 5 years
4:29 I hate to be the want to break this news
4:30 to you Beverly went inside the woman
4:33 transferred This creepy zombie thing
4:36 scared her she ran out of the door she
4:38 ran into the road into here and then
4:41 turned around and that's where Penny
4:43 wise right there Penny wise is right
4:44 there beep beep and then he started
4:47 doing that crazy laugh that weird laugh
4:49 and then he just kind of slithered back
4:51 into that exact door slithered into the
4:54 door closed it it was so creepy and
4:58 crazy and then Beverly was standing
4:59 standing right
5:00 here looked back at this right here from
5:05 this angle all the windows were boarded
5:07 up the doors were boarded up you can go
5:10 on YouTube a couple people have posted
5:11 the entire movie just look up Stephen
5:13 King's It on YouTube You'll see the
5:15 entire movie it's almost 3 hours long
5:17 like two minute 2 hours and 56 minutes
5:20 but just rummage through it I think
5:21 about 2third of the way through is the
5:23 dramatic scene I'm telling you about all
5:25 through it are peppered in scenes from
5:27 all in here when the kid was reading the
5:29 poem the kid rode off on his bike you
5:32 can see all this a lot of scenes
5:33 happening here and of course these
5:35 Majestic homes are really awesome these
5:37 were all seen in the movie as well but a
5:39 lot of the action most of the action
5:40 that I'm referring to here happened
5:43 right
5:45 there so it came back to her face she
5:47 was
5:49 terrified and then it went back over
5:51 there Tim Curry's Pennywise
5:55 rendition he was laughing the boards
5:57 were on the windows laughter emitting
6:00 from Penny wise the
6:02 clown and then it panned back to her and
6:05 she's standing right about where I am
6:08 and look at that manhole see that
6:09 manhole right there she was standing
6:11 right here and right at her feet was a
6:13 balloon the balloon started bouncing and
6:16 you heard this weird Carousel music and
6:19 right down the road the balloon bounced
6:21 off and that particular scene came to an
6:24 end right
6:26 here Pennywise the
6:28 Clown you know in a punk band I played
6:30 the punk band gutter mouth we played at
6:32 a venue right over there last night a
6:35 little T tie in for punk rock the band
6:38 Pennywise have you ever heard of them
6:40 they're a California band they got
6:41 pretty big that band was based on the
6:44 name of that band came from Tim Curry's
6:47 Stephen King Pennywise so kind of all
6:51 started right here it's a little punk
6:52 rock tie in as well there a movie tie in
6:56 right through those doors that's the
6:57 doors those are the exact back
7:06 doors yes look at these mail slids I'm
7:06 not going to knock on those doors we're
7:07 going to have some kind of crazy zombie
7:08 that ends up turning into a clown and
7:11 look at this water right here look at
7:13 that water down there probably leads to
7:15 a little grate with a Pennywise clown
7:17 where's a grate is there a grate around
7:20 here look at this that's cool it's not
7:23 really a great that's just a manhole
7:24 seen in a shot I was trying to see may
7:27 look at this oh
