0:04 Today's adventure begins as the
0:04 recording of this. It is Thursday,
0:07 July 3rd, 2025. Up here on the balcony
0:11 of my hotel room, starting off
0:14 peeking over and upward
0:22 at the Eiffel Tower here in Paris.
0:22 Really good view from this room. And I
0:26 believe today could be the day where I
0:29 am going to go
0:32 to, if not the tippy top, to at least a
0:34 portion halfway up
0:37 of the world famous Eiffel Tower. And
0:40 I'll just see what what else I can find
0:42 to get into.
0:45 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here. I'm
0:48 excited.
0:51 Heading up there. Did not purchase an
0:54 advanced ticket. In fact, I was going to
0:55 buy one in advance, but the website only
0:58 granted you access to the second level,
1:00 not the top. But then it stated that if
1:03 you just show up, should be able to
1:05 purchase a ticket, but all the online
1:07 sales were filled up. Kind of had the
1:10 same experience yesterday when I went
1:12 over to the cathedral. Same thing.
1:14 Online sales gone. Had no problem just
1:16 doing a walk up. So, that's what I'm
1:18 going to do over there. And then I'm
1:20 thinking about going to McDonald's and
1:22 getting a Royale with cheese.
1:27 Ever since I saw Pulp Fiction,
1:29 a Royale with cheese, which is a quarter
1:32 pounder with cheese in Paris when
1:34 they're talking about it in the car, I
1:36 thought if I ever go to Paris, I'm going
1:38 to get myself a Royale with cheese. I'll
1:42 do that a little bit later. But first,
1:44 Eiffel Tower. Join me. Also wearing an
1:48 appropriate t-shirt. Another street
1:50 vendor one I got the other day. Sporting
1:53 it. Yesterday I wore my Mona Lisa with
1:55 the blowing the bubble gum. I got a
1:57 pretty good reaction. This one probably
1:59 not going to get any kind of reaction.
2:01 This is a little more not exciting, but
2:03 still something to to sport and
2:05 appropriate when in Paris. Jordan
2:09 Shallot. Now the name of this hotel is
2:12 the Pullman. And I will say the weather
2:15 is much nicer than it was that first
2:20 and second day. It has cooled down
2:23 considerably.
2:25 Last night I even cracked the door open
2:28 to the balcony.
2:30 Had the cool breeze going in. It felt
2:32 good. 2:46 p.m. here in Paris, which
2:35 means it's 8:46.
2:38 8:46 a.m.
2:40 Back home in Celebration, Florida at the
2:42 moment. 8:46 a.m. and 5:46 a.m. in
2:47 SoCal.
2:49 For all those in LA,
2:51 it's only going to get up to 77. That is
2:54 20° cooler
2:56 than it has been the last couple of
2:58 days. 20° difference. I'll take this one
3:01 over the other last two days.
3:25 Okay, I'm on the property
3:25 through the security
3:28 and I saw a sign that said the summit is
3:31 closed again.
3:33 But I can get it to the second level, so
3:35 that's something. There's the elevator
3:37 going up there. Look at that.
3:47 That's cool.
3:47 These misters just turned on. Little
3:50 misting air here.
3:53 It's really not that warm out though, to
3:54 be honest. I don't know if the misting
3:56 air is needed, but they just turned them
3:58 on. Hey, this is saying
4:02 top is closed. Also, it's saying stairs
4:05 only.
4:11 No elevators, no escalators, stairs
4:14 Evidently, this is the line to buy
4:16 tickets.
4:23 Ah, top's closed. Just being underneath
4:23 this thing, it's quite the feeling. This
4:26 thing is huge.
4:29 Massive.
4:36 Due to a technical incident, maybe it's
4:36 not the weather.
4:38 Or maybe the last couple days it wasn't
4:39 the weather either. I was I thought it
4:41 was the
4:46 I thought it was the weather. Maybe the
4:46 first two days was the weather and today
4:48 is a technical incident
4:50 and everyone's having to walk up the
4:52 stairs. Ticket office elevator top floor
4:56 sale closed.
5:03 It says something about a technical
5:03 incident.
5:24 Technical incident.
5:25 Due to technical incident, the top is
5:27 closed. Instead of waiting in line for
5:29 tickets, I went ahead and just went on
5:31 the interwebs and purchased mine. So, I
5:34 got one to go up right now, but I got to
5:36 take the stairs. Also purchased this
5:39 piping hot caffeinated beverage, and
5:40 it's served in a non- coffee cup. So, it
5:44 is permeatingly warm. I mean, it is so
5:47 hot to hold on to. I think it's like a
5:49 soda cup. Oh, that's hot. Oh, wow. So, I
5:53 put napkins around it because this is
5:55 like made out of like plastic and it's
5:58 scorching it. It really gives new
6:00 meaning to piping hot, holding it. So,
6:03 I'm going to get in this line and I'm
6:05 going to guess I'm going to walk up
6:06 those stairs. They said I can't take the
6:08 elevator with the ticket I have. So, I'm
6:10 going to walk it. It begins
6:13 all on foot.
6:15 Just take it slow. Sip some caffeine.
6:27 The elevator is running, but evidently
6:28 that tier of ticket isn't available
6:29 right now. And the ticket booth line was
6:33 very lengthy, like a hundred people
6:35 deep. I would have had to wait in that
6:38 line and then to buy this ticket.
6:42 So, I just went online and purchased it.
6:45 Quick and easy. Oh, there goes the
6:47 elevator
6:48 right there.
7:14 Talking about the hydraulics
7:14 of that bad boy going up.
7:32 Once that thing passed by, this whole
7:32 thing starting to shake a little bit.
8:21 All right, this is the first floor.
8:21 Look at this.
8:23 Look at this relic behind the glass.
8:26 What the staircase used to look like.
8:28 Goodness gracious.
8:31 That's something.
8:34 Obviously, they've redone them since the
8:35 olden days. This is dated 1889 for that
8:38 staircase.
8:40 Wow.
8:51 You can peek out now. Oh, this whole
8:51 thing kind of slants just a little bit.
8:54 You can look down. And there's even a
8:57 glass floor that you can stand on.
8:59 Although, it's not really providing me
9:01 with a lot of
9:03 stability hope because there is a net
9:07 underneath it. See, there's a net there.
9:09 And there's a net that continues
9:11 underneath
9:12 the glass bottom walkway.
9:25 So that right there is the line to buy
9:25 tickets to go up maybe the elevator.
9:29 That's a pretty long line. the one I
9:31 bypassed by buying the tickets online.
9:34 They were I think 14 and a half, let's
9:36 call it 15
9:38 to do the walking. That's honestly not
9:40 too bad in my opinion.
9:42 It's actually not a bad price.
9:45 There seems to be water dripping from
9:47 the top up there. I see like water
9:48 dripping. Oh, look at that. There's the
9:50 elevator going up just like in Superman
9:53 2. Going to drop a phone off here cuz
9:55 she ends up hitting someone, injuring
9:57 them, or even worse.
9:59 Got to be careful. Hold on to these. Do
10:02 not pass anything through the grills.
10:06 Folding objects. Risk of accident.
10:13 So, what I'm going to do
10:13 is just get right up here to the grill.
10:16 Kind of keep it like that and then zoom
10:18 in. I walked across that bridge
10:20 yesterday. I walked a lot yesterday. I
10:22 probably walked like 10 miles yesterday
10:24 and then I took a taxi back. I regretted
10:27 that with the how the traffic was.
10:37 Beautiful view up here. This is only the
10:37 first floor. I think I can walk up to
10:38 the second floor.
10:49 Ah, Paris. This is the road that was my
10:49 first introduction to the tower a couple
10:51 days ago when I took a taxi from the
10:53 airport. It was in that line right there
10:55 of taxis
10:58 and I was coming down that way. First
11:01 saw it out the window. Put the camera
11:03 filmed a little bit of it as we were
11:05 driving in.
11:07 Now I'm seeing it from a different
11:08 angle. Oh, I see if I could show my
11:10 hotel from up here now that it's cooled
11:11 down a little bit. This is the the cup
11:13 they put the coffee in. Bona petit Paris
11:18 Perry.
11:22 A little display here on some of the
11:22 history.
11:25 I love this old photo.
11:27 Very dapper.
11:42 Oo, look at this gargoyle. Where can
11:42 that be found?
11:48 There's something very haunting about
11:48 Paris,
11:56 which I think is why Edgar Allan Poe was
11:56 so into it. That's the second day in a
11:58 row I mentioned Poe.
12:02 Maybe I'll mention him again tomorrow.
12:08 Oh, these must be films that were all
12:08 based around this iconic structure.
12:27 Audrey Huppurn. Funny face. I never saw
12:27 that one.
12:38 An American in Paris. That could be me.
12:38 Jean Kelly right there. Oh, look at this
12:41 one. It's like maybe like a good murder
12:43 murder mystery. Burgess Meredith right
12:46 there.
12:52 Might have to put some of these on my
12:52 list.
12:54 I like the uh the Burgess Meredith one.
12:56 Looks cool. I just realized what the
12:57 elevators are being used for. It is for
12:59 the descent. Did not pass anyone walking
13:01 up. The elevators are used for the
13:04 descension
13:06 back down. Now, my hotel
13:09 is right there.
13:15 I think I'm on the fifth floor, fourth
13:17 floor, sixth floor. Right in the middle
13:19 there of the Pullman. Pretty nice.
13:23 First
13:25 stairs. First day or two was toasty. But
13:29 today, again,
13:31 the air conditioners having an easier
13:32 time handling the lower temperatures.
13:34 But I guess that's an issue with all of
13:36 Paris. Like Paris is not known as the
13:39 city of AC.
13:42 All right, time to start heading back
13:44 up. Up, up, up. I go all the way to the
13:48 second level. I'm halfway to the point
13:51 of where I can go. I can't go any higher
13:53 than the second level, but I'm on the
13:54 first level. Now to this the second
13:55 level.
13:57 I think he's in there. Hello. Hello.
14:29 again just to confirm there are
14:29 no ways to go up to the summit due to a
14:32 technical incident. top is closed. They
14:35 apologize, but this would be the queue
14:37 that you would get in. There's the
14:39 descent elevator queue. There's even a
14:42 restaurant up here.
14:57 So, there are two levels on the second
14:57 floor. There's one down here with a
15:00 netting, well, a mesh gate or mesh
15:03 railing I should say. And then kind of
15:06 push back about 10 ft is the second
15:08 level, the one I'm on of level two.
15:17 Unlike European vacation, I would highly
15:18 doubt they allow dogs up here.
15:22 I don't know what it is about Clark
15:23 Griswald and dogs vacation.
15:26 European vacation. Christmas vacation.
15:30 Was there a dog in Christmas vacation?
15:31 There was a cat. Vegas vacation. I don't
15:34 know if there were any pets. After
15:35 walking around the perimeter
15:38 of all the ledges where Rusty
15:41 and Clark were standing, I think was on
15:44 the side I'm about to show. And there's
15:45 a lot of people. So, kind of waiting for
15:48 them to clear out. But I love the fact
15:50 still has the yellow handrails and this
15:53 one has a descending around the backside
15:56 there where some of the other ones are
15:57 shifted a little bit differently. And
15:59 this is really the only spot that has
16:01 that behind Chvy Chase's shoulder there.
16:05 So I'm going to match that or at least
16:07 attempt to match that up and in the
16:09 general vicinity obviously but and these
16:11 railings have changed a little bit but
16:12 the the same yellow handrails going
16:15 downward though. You have newer versions
16:17 of these. He put the coin in. You can
16:19 look out where the girls were standing.
16:21 He thought they were flirting with him,
16:23 but they were really just mocking his
16:24 hat.
16:26 There's the spot right there.
16:34 Again, it's hard to kind of get it
16:34 because there's so many people up here.
16:36 But
16:42 there's the railing right here. Look at
16:42 this. been repainted and refixed, but
16:43 they're still using the the yellow color
16:46 scheme. It would have been sanded right
16:48 there. How cool is that, right?
16:52 Obviously, this thing has a lot more
16:53 significance than just European
16:55 vacation, but cannot not show that while
16:58 I'm up here,
17:09 man. It'd be so cool if the summit was
17:10 open, but
17:12 It's not meant to be. But at least I got
17:14 at least I got to the second I I walked
17:16 a lot. I got to the second floor or the
17:18 second overlook.
17:36 All right, going back down from this
17:39 The walking down will probably be a lot
17:41 easier than the going up.
17:49 I could take the elevator, but it's
17:49 pretty busy.
17:52 I really don't mind walking.
17:54 This will be a nice little stroll back
17:56 downward.
18:01 Maybe I'll think about it when I get
18:01 down to the first. Maybe I'll take the
18:02 first fort out or I'll just walk.
18:06 Kind of like walking.
18:08 Also, when I arrived in Paris a couple
18:10 days ago, a lot of people were chiming
18:13 in saying that I had already been here
18:16 before. They call that the Mandela
18:18 effect when people assume that they had
18:23 seen something somewhere before or
18:25 whatnot.
18:27 I can assure you this is my first time
18:29 in Paris, France.
18:32 First time at the Eiffel Tower. Now, I
18:35 have been
18:38 in the Eiffel Tower at a couple
18:39 different places. Kings Island, they has
18:41 an Eiffel Tower. Epcot, there's an
18:42 Eiffel Tower over in the France
18:44 pavilion. And I've also gone up to the
18:47 top of the Eiffel Tower in Vegas.
18:51 But I can assure you, I have never been
18:53 to Paris, France before this trip.
18:57 Yeah. Isn't that what's called the
18:59 Mandela effect?
19:01 When you just assume something, you've
19:03 seen it. You just think something is
19:04 happening or you've seen something when
19:06 in reality it's not true. My friend
19:09 Justin's been here many, many times.
19:16 Friends Ordinary Adventures, they were
19:16 just here. I think their videos are
19:18 still going to be uploading soon.
19:30 I'm so happy I got to walk up here. So
19:30 cool. This is like something I've always
19:32 wanted to do. Something has always been
19:34 on my radar and now I've done it.
19:50 right. My impression of being on this
19:50 thing
19:51 is not what I expected it to be,
19:53 especially seeing it from the ground.
19:56 Actually, you can kind of get the
19:57 perspective when you're walking around.
19:59 But once you start going up the top or
20:01 even standing underneath it, really do
20:04 not realize based on photos, TV shows,
20:08 movies, commercials, pop culture stuff,
20:11 the magnitude and the size, the sheer
20:14 size of this thing is gargantuan.
20:17 Really does not show a perspective. When
20:20 you see anything that you've seen
20:22 without actually being here, you do not
20:24 really comprehend
20:33 how huge this thing is.
20:33 Really does live up I say lives up to
20:36 the hype. I don't know if there's hype
20:37 around it, but it lives up to my
20:39 expectations. Sometimes when you go
20:41 somewhere and you see a landmark, you
20:44 think, "Okay, that was cool. That was
20:46 interesting." But this thing,
21:03 All right, I'm going to start heading
21:03 down. This is level one. Heading back
21:04 down to level zero. Also,
21:09 I believe England as well, but also here
21:12 in Paris. Well, you know what? Maybe I'm
21:14 getting London confused with Paris. one
21:17 of the two or maybe both. When you go to
21:19 the US and you're on level one, let's
21:21 say you have a hotel room on level one,
21:23 you're on the ground floor. Those other
21:25 places I just mentioned over here on
21:28 this side of the world, you're on level
21:30 one, you're on the second floor. Level
21:32 one starts on what us in the US classify
21:36 as level two.
21:56 exit through the gift shop. But there is
21:56 a gift shop up on the first level. Got a
21:58 little snow globe over here. I need to
22:00 get a I need to get myself a magnet.
22:07 All right. Got myself a little souvenir.
22:08 Another magnet to add to my metal
22:09 cabinets in my garage when I finally get
22:11 home. whatever that is. You know, I
22:13 figure I'm already here. I could take
22:15 the stairs,
22:16 but you know, I should probably go ahead
22:18 and get on get on the descent elevator.
22:25 Actually, doesn't look like too long of
22:25 a line now.
22:51 It's a real problem around here. Heard a
22:51 lot of stories.
23:31 There's a full house in here.
23:32 People from the second floor obviously
23:33 don't get off at the first floor.
24:07 There's no elbow room in this thing.
24:07 Yeah, probably would have been faster to
24:10 walk, but
24:12 I did it.
24:19 What I've been doing here
25:01 I'm going to walk back over to a spot I
25:01 was at yesterday.
25:07 And I didn't realize until I got back
25:07 and was editing last night, the hotel
25:09 room, that where I was was just above
25:14 and in very close proximity to the
25:15 tunnel.
25:22 Showing the love locks here.
25:22 the tunnel where
25:25 Princess Diana passed away.
25:43 There's the entrance and exit to the
25:43 tunnel right there. Of course, the
25:45 traffic approaching me is exiting out.
25:48 Other side's going into the tunnel.
25:52 1997 I was working at Kmart
25:55 in CMI, Florida. This is like one of
25:58 those events that you really don't
26:00 forget
26:01 where you were when you heard the news.
26:06 even being over in the US.
26:39 There's signs up saying no walking. You
26:39 probably don't want anybody walking
26:41 through the tunnel
26:43 to find the pillar
26:45 and the area that the car crashed into.
27:18 Yesterday I was standing over there and
27:18 I was just getting a view of this.
27:24 has the love locks on it. Had the Eiffel
27:24 Tower in the background. I didn't
27:27 realize
27:28 again I went back to my hotel and I was
27:31 looking a couple things up and I was
27:32 like, "Oh my goodness, I was right above
27:34 the tunnel.
27:49 The queen in people's hearts. You will
27:49 always be the queen in people's hearts.
27:51 Diana forever, the people's princess.
28:30 Oh, we're precious.
28:48 It's a very very short tunnel to be
28:48 honest.
29:00 And then the other entrance and exit
29:00 is over there.
29:05 Just right over there is the other edge
29:05 of Tanexa. That close.
29:38 I don't have
30:07 Now, I know the consensus
30:08 will probably wonder,
30:10 why are you going to Mickey D's when
30:14 you're in a city full of such amazing
30:22 food items? Look at that little thing.
30:22 Two wheels on the front, one on the
30:24 back.
30:26 I don't think I'm going to get a full
30:27 meal. I just want to get a Royale with
30:28 cheese.
30:42 There it is. McDonald's in Paris.
30:42 You know what they call a quarter
30:43 pounder with cheese at McDonald's in
30:45 Paris?
30:47 A royale with cheese.
31:10 Oh yeah, there it is. Royale cheese.
31:10 Royale cheese.
31:19 I went ahead and got two of them.
31:19 Two.
31:20 Also,
31:23 Two Royale with cheeses.
31:26 That took a while. Took a little while.
31:29 That's a That was a long time to wait
31:31 for just a a burger. Yeah, it's a pretty
31:34 ridiculous thing to do. But I can't I'm
31:36 sure I'm not the only person on earth
31:38 that has visited France, visited Paris,
31:47 as an American
31:47 seeing Pulp Fiction and knowing knowing
31:50 the you know knowing that quote
31:54 can't be the only one.
32:00 Okay, I I I did it. Well, I have to eat
32:00 it first, man.
32:08 I mean, it looks pretty standard. It's
32:08 pretty much the same.
32:11 Only novelty is the name.
32:14 Had a few other different menu items as
32:17 well, but this is this was the main the
32:19 main focus. Yep. Go all the way to
32:22 France to eat a McDonald's hamburger.
32:25 There it is.
32:28 It's kind of a dumb thing, but started
32:30 off this morning, I thought, you know
32:31 what? Through the course of the day, I
32:33 got to find a Mickey De's and get myself
32:35 a Royale with cheese.
33:06 It might just all be in my mind,
33:09 but this honestly tastes better
33:12 than the McDonald's
33:15 in the States. It has a little more
33:18 flavor to it. I don't know. It tastes
33:20 It's probably just the novelty of being
33:22 here and eating Mickey De's, but
33:33 this isn't half bad.
33:33 This pigeons probably want
33:36 probably want some of this. My royale
33:39 with cheese.
33:52 I probably should have only got one. I
33:52 got to be honest, this is a little more
33:53 filling than I expected to be. All
33:56 right. My kind of ridiculous statement
33:58 is
34:01 the quarter pounder.
34:03 Also, we're on the deluxe.
34:06 This is the Royale with cheese.
34:12 I think this tastes better than the
34:12 quarter pounder in the US. At least this
34:15 one. I don't know if they made it with a
34:17 little more loving ingredients,
34:21 French ingredients,
34:23 but it just tastes
34:26 three and a half% better.
34:29 Then again, I haven't had a quarter
34:30 pounder with cheese in the US in a while
34:33 either, so maybe when I get back, I'll
34:34 compare.
34:45 All right, I got myself
34:45 crate
34:46 caramel crepe
34:52 made fresh
34:56 and a water.
34:58 They made it faster than I could even
35:00 pay for it with the euro to get the
35:02 change back. I was going to show them
35:03 making it, but man, they were quick.
35:15 Bona petit
35:15 creep crepe creeper crepe crepe.
35:28 I just think of the Ricky Bobby movie
35:28 nights. That's what it was.
35:31 Say I love crepes.
35:35 Oh wow.
35:38 Here it goes. Very fresh. This is the
35:40 freshest that you could get.
36:07 A little dessert to go with my royale
36:07 with cheese. It's a fun fun phrase to
36:10 say. Walking back towards my hotel.
36:24 It's called the Pullman
36:24 for those interested or
36:28 wondering.
36:32 And that's going to do it for today.
36:35 Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the
36:36 next video, the vlog. I am so glad that
36:40 I was able to get to the top of the
36:41 Eiffel Tower, the world famous Eiffel
36:45 Tower.
36:52 I guess I should probably end this from
36:52 my balcony, right?
37:22 next video, the vlog.
37:33 I was up there. That's level one.
37:33 That's level two.
37:36 And that is the summit, which I was not
37:38 allowed to go to.
37:45 But I walked all the way to there, level
37:45 two, and level one, and then back down
37:48 again. Well, except from the first to
37:51 the bottom level, which I took the weird
37:54 elevator thing, which I kind of wish I
37:55 would have just walked, but I did it.
37:59 Never thought I would do it, but I did
38:00 it. Never thought I'd be in Paris, but I
38:03 am.
38:09 Really amazing to be here.
38:09 Kind of surreal in a weird way.
38:15 next video. The vlog is over.
