0:09 like over five weeks since I celebrated
0:12 my 50th birthday on August 10th birthday
0:15 birth day little Tongue Tied
0:19 there just time is flying by in fact I
0:23 am going to show up well kind of
0:25 fashionably well with a collar shirt for
0:27 me that's about as fashionable as I get
0:30 for epcot's International Food and Wine
0:32 Festival which started two and a half
0:34 weeks ago join me I'm finally getting
0:38 over there I've been out of town shall
0:40 you it's about 1118 well not about it is
0:43 11:18 right now looking at my phone 84°
0:47 going to get up to about 89
0:49 today going to get a little toasty but
0:52 maybe some cloud formation a block out
0:54 the sun we'll see what happens the
0:56 archway beckons me
1:00 hey one thing I love about Disney World
1:02 not that you really even need
1:04 reservations you have to make them but
1:05 they're pretty much always available
1:07 with rare exceptions they're never
1:09 really booked up but today is a good to
1:12 go Day meaning I don't even have to open
1:15 the app I don't even have to make a
1:17 reservation all I got to show is my
1:19 annual pass when I get to the front and
1:21 I'm in we have those every so often Here
1:24 Disneyland quite isn't on that scale yet
1:26 but maybe one day maybe one day
1:28 Disneyland all right I parked over here
1:29 here in Dory
1:32 407 just like the area
1:45 clouds don't get a lot of clouds in
1:45 SoCal I was out there a lot
1:52 recently would have been really perfect
1:52 a mon rail went by right
1:55 now whoever just got to settle for Two
1:58 Tramps with there's there's one tram
2:01 it's not as great as a monel when
2:02 there's two trams I don't want to say
2:04 it's on par but
2:06 it's okay yeah still not as good as a
2:08 monreal monreal seems to be perched up
2:11 there and it's little hole right there
2:14 it's operational I just didn't catch it
2:16 on the way in and on the way out but you
2:18 can see it just hiding up there this
2:21 little cubby hole the
2:23 monil hot out here well when you're
2:26 underneath this it's not as bad but when
2:28 you're standing directly in the Sun
2:30 that's when you realize how hot it is I
2:31 get it was probably a lot warmer you
2:34 know when the last couple months I have
2:36 not been here it's kind of on the it's
2:37 not as hot it's probably 10° cooler than
2:40 it was but still definitely warm
2:44 definitely not cool by any means
2:47 whatsoever but not as hot as it was I
2:49 think I missed the cusp with the hottest
2:51 part of the summer which is kind of
2:52 planned I kind of don't want to be here
2:54 In The Heat Of Summer but yeah it's
2:55 still it's still it's still toasty on
2:57 some level and having a little cloud
2:59 form a little overcast helps
3:01 dramatically as well so kind of like get
3:04 my little uh little little uh video
3:06 selfie or video photo here in the uh
3:09 underneath spaceship earth I always
3:12 always try to do that document the
3:14 document the day here inside the mirror
3:17 oh nice look over there now I'm going to
3:19 head into the creation shop also got a
3:22 piping hot caffeinated beverage a
3:24 sugar-free vanilla latte let's see what
3:27 kind of new merch they have oh look like
3:30 they brought these back they had these
3:31 at d23 a couple d23 ago but now they're
3:34 selling them in here this one I might
3:36 you know what I might have to get this
3:38 one at some point they had these last
3:40 time I was here I think they just
3:41 brought them back haven't picked one up
3:43 yet but this might be on my radar at
3:45 some point maybe I don't know can't
3:48 decide and this is some of the food and
3:49 wine merchandise you got the little
3:51 apron right there the bib you even got
3:53 the little like pot holders the stirring
3:56 sticks all that kind of good stuff even
3:58 some pass holder exclusive of stuff like
4:00 a hat even got a little some glasses
4:03 over here and even this shirt which says
4:05 passholder on it all right here are the
4:08 here are the pins for the event I think
4:10 I might get one you got a Mickey one
4:12 here also got a figment one there maybe
4:14 I'll get a maybe I'll get a Mickey and a
4:16 figment one I like I like collecting the
4:19 Mickey and and figments all right
4:21 there's also there's quite a bit of
4:22 assortment of merchandise even like a
4:24 little cutting board now I've go down
4:25 the pen rabbit hole but I've never gone
4:27 down the little salt and pepper shaker
4:29 rabbit hole before before I don't know
4:30 if I ever will all right I'm now going
4:31 to make my way inside communicore Hall
4:34 and I got to say this is the first time
4:35 that I've seen it adorned with uh with
4:38 merchandise and all kind of different
4:40 items a lot of the same stuff that's
4:42 over in the former Mouse gears is kind
4:44 of in here it's kind of the same stuff
4:46 but on top of that they also have some
4:47 food items over here now which I haven't
4:49 seen this area used for food items
4:51 before so that's kind of neat that kind
4:52 of reminds me of what the odssey was
4:54 used for I wonder if the Odyssey has
4:55 anything in it I decided to go ahead and
4:57 head over to the Odyssey building which
5:00 for a while I believe they were using
5:02 part of it as a DVC Lounge again it's
5:04 been well over 2 months since I've been
5:06 to Epcot so kind of curious to see once
5:09 I go in here and see what kind of snacks
5:11 and foods and treats they have for the
5:14 Food and Wine Fest I don't drink wine
5:16 but I eat food I think some of this
5:17 they've had in the past I remember
5:18 having those peanut butter and jelly
5:20 sticky wings once before and I think I
5:22 even had that pickled milkshake one year
5:24 but this seems to be new a frozen
5:26 pomegranate and raspberry tea nothing
5:29 really is poping out of me here but I
5:31 will pop in and I'll pop in but
5:33 nothing's popping out at me of what I
5:36 want it's basically just all fried wings
5:38 oh it's a lab of sorts oh yeah they
5:41 definitely do not have the DVC Lounge in
5:44 the DVC Lounge I guess is back up above
5:46 the imagination Pavilion once again not
5:48 in here they moved it not having a whole
5:51 heck of a lot of luck with monal views
5:53 today I don't really like showing an
5:55 empty Montreal beam but it is so hot out
5:57 here I am not going to stand here and
5:59 weight which is rare for me but I got to
6:01 I got to find shade truthfully I've
6:03 stayed pretty spoiler-free on what they
6:05 have here I haven't really like checked
6:06 anything out about the event so I don't
6:08 even know if there is any new foods I'm
6:09 just going to do a lap see what I can
6:11 find honestly I would say probably the
6:12 worst part of this would be standing out
6:14 in the in the potent Sun waiting to
6:17 order so if I can find one that's very
6:20 shaded that's going to be my pony that's
6:22 going to be my uh my stand all right I'm
6:25 noticing over here in India there's no
6:26 one in line so I might get the chicken
6:28 Tiki solo right here with a non bread
6:31 I'll make it one of those why not let me
6:33 reiterate the sun is like scorchingly
6:35 hot I did find a little picnic table
6:37 over here in the Africa area and I ended
6:39 up getting both things from the the
6:40 India Booth over here this is a pretty
6:42 good portion but for about the same
6:44 price you can get this entire Bowl right
6:46 there the cast M was saying that it
6:48 might be one of the biggest portions of
6:50 any of the food and wine boou right over
6:52 here got a little non bread I think this
6:53 is a chicken masala and some rice
6:55 perhaps underneath it looks pretty good
6:57 pretty good size portion
7:01 I don't even know what these
7:09 are you tast of that why not you can
7:09 scoot over if you need to if you wanted
7:10 to
7:13 sit you trying different stuff today
7:15 then I'm trying to eat have you worked
7:19 your way around the world yet no this is
7:20 the first stuff I've had oh is it yeah
7:22 started on the Mexico side but look at
7:25 the size of this
7:28 portion masala oh yeah yeah we're from
7:31 the UK so we get that all the time okay
7:33 yeah so you got it yeah we kind ofed the
7:36 Friday night these are both the same
7:38 price I think if you want to be at full
7:40 this is a better better option A non
7:43 bread when did you get back from
7:44 California then was it recently few days
7:46 ago uh yeah and then I leave
7:50 tomorrow that's spicy yeah you get use
7:53 your DVC very much oh yeah yeah use all
7:56 my points riera isn't it you've got is

8:00 yeah Rivier was my first home Resort
8:03 that I got definitely has some spice to

8:12 it bring it's quite busy today we came
8:12 on Saturday and it was really busy we
8:13 think it was going to be quieter but

8:19 week I have no idea I didn't expect it
8:21 to be this busy either on a week day

8:31 I don't even remember what's inside
8:31 these I guess like some breading and PE
8:34 pee and potato pee and potato that's
8:35 right so I'm glad you guys sat down here
8:37 I would have no idea what I'm eating
8:39 it's very small yeah they very small
8:42 this this is the better deal all right
8:44 over here there's the Germany Pavilion
8:46 there's also the Alps food Booth there's
8:48 no one in that line so I am going to get
8:52 this warm swiss cheese with alpine ham
8:55 baby potatoes baguettes and whatever
8:57 cornichons
8:59 right there or maybe I'll get the warm
9:01 Swiss I don't know maybe no I'll get the
9:02 top one five 50 cents more I guess you
9:05 get the whatever the other option is but
9:08 like I like I like the ones that don't
9:09 have any lines some of them have really
9:10 long lines so I'm just going with these
9:13 short whatever the shortest lines are
9:15 and the Alps has a short line and I do
9:17 like cheese I like cheese and I like the
9:19 Alps even though I've never been to the
9:21 Alps and it's not a proper Epcot Food
9:23 fessel you do not eat on the top of a
9:25 trash can so it's got the little
9:27 baguette which is basically just like a
9:28 little piece of bread it's got the
9:30 potatoes it's got the ham it's got an
9:32 overload layers of cheese down inside of
9:36 there it's got the little folded ham
9:39 right there and then more little
9:41 potatoes underneath there yeah looks
9:44 pretty good it's pretty pretty decent
9:46 give it a quick try I mean this is
9:48 definitely a lot of cheese right there a
9:51 lot of cheese and bread and I always let
9:53 me to dip the potato inside the cheese
9:57 get a little almost get a little cheese
9:58 p right
10:08 there the cheese has a very potent smell
10:08 to it very cheesy is it swiss cheese I
10:11 think it's swiss
10:13 cheese Swiss out
10:16 cheese you can almost make a sandwich
10:18 out of the
10:19 bagette and this let me taste this ham I
10:22 think I'm just going to go in like an
10:23 animal just eat the
10:35 me I think my favorite part about it is
10:35 the cheese and these little miniature
10:46 potatoes I didn't realize underneath the
10:46 big pile of cheese is this little pickle
10:48 right here look it's like a little
10:49 little pickle on there so I made kind of
10:50 like a little half sandwich right here
10:53 with the cheese and the meat and the
10:55 baguette and the pickle and all that
10:59 kind of go in and uh let see how see how
11:02 this is let me go can I do all this in
11:03 one bite I don't know it's a big
11:09 bite I don't know if there's such thing
11:10 as a cheese quota but I think I just hit
11:11 my cheese quota got a nice view of
11:13 spaceship earth over there kind of
11:15 making it way over towards the Japan
11:18 Pavilion you can see how not a lot of
11:21 people a few people are out in the sun
11:22 but most people are commiserating and
11:25 kind of clumped together over into the
11:28 Shaded area and I can't I don't even
11:29 know why I'm walking in the sun I'm
11:31 walking brisly to get to the next spot
11:34 cuz there's no you going to have to get
11:35 in the sun either way buto it's uh it's
11:39 bright here look over here at the grease
11:41 Pavilion lot of uh look at this right
11:43 here cheese cheese lots of cheese this
11:46 looks pretty good too look it had like
11:48 spinach in that I opted not to get any
11:49 of those items but this little spinach
11:51 thing looked pretty pretty good I'm
11:53 going continue doing the the loop around
11:55 the world showcase loop as it's referred
11:58 to as I don't know if it's referred to
12:00 is that but that's what I just called it
12:01 approaching the France stand okay I
12:04 should see the tower wait there it is
12:07 there it's right over there kind of
12:08 curious to see what they have here if
12:11 there's anything different or new and
12:14 how long the line in the sun is this is
12:17 the menu some of this I really have a
12:18 hard time pronouncing like that is a lot
12:21 of words right there did you not flow
12:23 off of my tongue I know what es cargo is
12:26 that's
12:27 snails I've had snails before they're
12:29 okay okay it's not my first uh first
12:30 go-to they also have Avon water which is
12:32 kind of nice not typical Dan or smart
12:35 water but that right there would be a
12:37 tongue twister unless you are fluent in
12:39 the language right there I would have a
12:40 hard
12:41 time I would have a hard time with that
12:44 one egg goat cheese and caramelized
12:47 onions that's easier to say for me you
12:50 got the pictures is a lot easier look at
12:51 this cheese cheese cheese cheese flowing
12:55 out of the side of that one this is like
12:57 inside a little uh a little uh I don't
12:59 know what that would be like a like a
13:00 open biscuit or some sort where it's
13:02 like flowing out the cheese and the
13:04 snails out of there then you got crem
13:07 brulee down there which looks pretty
13:09 tasty I don't know if I want any
13:10 desserts but that's got to be a lot yeah
13:12 goat that's that's a lot of goat cheese
13:14 I've already hit my cheese quot so I
13:15 don't think I'm going to get that in
13:16 truthfulness I really don't have a
13:17 cheese quota it just that my belly is
13:19 full of more cheese than I've had in a
13:21 while that's what I'm meaning to say and
13:23 now over at Forest and field where they
13:26 have an Autumn chili I mean I do like
13:28 chili but again it's uh it's toasty
13:30 today the pumpkin mascar
13:34 Pony R let's just call it pumpkin
13:36 ravioli with sage Brown uh Sage brown
13:38 butter uh some sort of a cheese
13:42 peor peor Eno cheese and hazelnut
13:45 praline maybe I'll get that that looks
13:47 uh that looks pretty good the chili
13:49 looks pretty good too but man it is
13:51 again
13:53 unpleasantly warm think I'm me go with
13:56 the pumpkin you know it's a Halloween
13:57 season say Halloween like sweating your
13:59 uh sweating your backside off uh walking
14:02 around World Showcase in September no
14:05 such luck on the ravioli it's the only
14:07 item they're out of I walked to the
14:08 front cast member said we're all out of
14:10 raviola so no no luck on the pumpkin
14:12 raviola this is nice they put some kind
14:14 of shade over here again why am I not
14:17 seeing it's just what is up with the
14:18 Montreal today they're just the monals
14:21 are maybe the Montreal are having a
14:22 little uh little issue with the heat as
14:24 well I'm going to I'm going to see a
14:25 mono before I leave ooh the Bramblewood
14:28 bites I really like this take a look at
14:30 the grilled cider brine por tenderloin
14:33 but look at this Cass iron roasted
14:34 Brussels spouts and root vegetables I
14:37 love brussel sprouts I think I'm going
14:38 to get some of this didn't realize or
14:40 maybe I didn't read correctly looks like
14:41 it has some peans or pecans down in
14:44 there oh wait a second wait a second
14:45 look look at this straight up as I get
14:47 the backside of the banner there there
14:53 goes the monil over Bramble wood and
14:57 peeking up is a journey to imagination
15:00 Pavilion nicely done moal nicely done I
15:03 don't know if I never noticed this
15:04 before but there is an extreme lack of
15:07 shade at Epcot world showcas or just
15:09 Epcot in general I tried to go over on
15:12 the back side of this this water feature
15:14 is where that last last little food
15:15 stand was they did have some shaded area
15:17 little tarps that I showed but all the
15:19 picnic tables were full so I walked over
15:21 here next to the journey to imagination
15:23 Pavilion and this is where I'm going to
15:25 consume I uh bro actually the in the
15:27 picture they showed them not uh cut up
15:29 they're cut up in this bowl like they're
15:31 uh they're sliced but in the photo they
15:34 were uh fully
15:50 Sprouts oh man nice in the shade too
15:50 also got some carrots in it I don't know
15:53 about the pans I don't know I have the
15:54 nuts in there but everything else is
15:57 good I don't really like nuts with my
16:09 though the Brussels sprouts are grilled
16:19 what I take that back the nut kind of
16:19 work in this little
16:27 goulash okay also in my opinion greatest
16:27 popcorn stand
16:29 design that there is right there I just
16:31 love that retro five popcorn stand what
16:34 if there's any special popcorn buckets
16:35 right now here o I can see the monil
16:38 going by underneath spaceship earth not
16:41 a bad little view I'm going to start

16:45 this way too you kind of see it around
16:47 that way too I think I'm going to start
16:48 heading out I don't know if it is the
16:50 heat is the permeating late summer heat
16:52 here or if it's just the fact that this
16:54 is my least favorite of all of the Epcot
16:57 festivals but not wasn't in here for the
17:00 whole day only for a brief amount of
17:03 time I in here a while but I wasn't in
17:05 here as long as I would normally be an
17:08 Epcot
17:09 Center yeah I would say it's probably my
17:11 least favorite of all the Epcot well
17:14 definitely without of Doubt is my least
17:15 favorite of all the Epcot festivals I'm
17:17 not saying it's a bad Festival I mean I
17:19 enjoy it I enjoy eating some foods
17:21 walking around World Showcase but when
17:23 it comes to the others it's very
17:24 lackluster in comparison to how great
17:28 the other ones flowered Garden festival
17:30 really awesome get all the topiaries get
17:32 the vibe walking around some uh some
17:35 nice you know Greenery and flowers
17:38 things like that the butterfly tent
17:40 treats nice delicious treats all of them
17:42 have foods and and things I think my
17:45 favorite is Festival of the Arts and
17:46 Festival of the holidays both amazing
17:48 Festival of the holidays what's going on
17:49 with my hair I get to get a haircut this
17:51 morning probably could use a little a
17:54 little gel in it but of those four
17:57 Festival of the Arts Festival the h
17:59 holidays probably my two favorite and
18:01 then flower and garden a notch below
18:03 that and then way below it is food and
18:07 wine it's kind of
18:10 uh just kind of it's just kind of just
18:13 there so if you're planning on coming
18:16 out for one Festival I my personal
18:18 opinion just just my opinion this is not
18:20 the one to go to cuz obviously it's
18:22 scorchingly hot I know some people only
18:24 have certain times they can come on
18:25 vacation but if you're going to choose
18:27 one I would recommend Festival of the
18:29 Arts which is in January the weather's
18:31 really nice flower and garden or
18:34 Festival of the holidays which is around
18:36 Christmas time which is going to be the
18:37 next one which is which is always a good
18:40 time not going to be here a lot in
18:41 December in November but I will pop in
18:44 and out from traveling I'm definitely
18:46 going to hit up that Festival as well is
18:48 a mon going by oh look look at this look
18:52 at this it's going to happen so you got
18:54 spaceship hurt there you got the tram
18:58 going
18:59 by spaceship earth and then there
19:04 goes wait it's way off over there Let Me
19:06 Wait give me a
19:07 second again for me the most
19:12 lackluster of the four festivals are
19:14 there four or are there five there goes
19:18 the Mont rail I did have some good food
19:20 the food options were good very lot of
19:22 cheese a lot of cheese in there I'll see
