3:44 checkpoints a little Congregation of

3:46 folk over here we're going to get in

3:48 that line and head in is 10 55 5 minutes

3:52 before the gates open even though I can

3:53 already see people in there maybe they

3:54 did like an early entry thing but yeah

3:57 the Park's been closed for a couple

3:58 weeks to prepare for the holidays all

4:00 right now I understand this is the

4:01 ticket to buy tickets I purchase tickets

4:03 online so we don't have to go to the

4:05 ticket turn Styles all we have to do is

4:06 go show the QR code up here to get up

4:09 now I think the plan is we're going to

4:11 head over to the train first try to get

4:13 some of the attractions of things done

4:15 early on you know obviously kind of mild

4:18 detractors my mom and dad want to go on

4:19 any roller coasters and in some of the

4:21 shows midday and then look at the lights

4:23 a little bit later when the Sun goes

4:24 down so that's kind of the plant and on

4:26 the way in there is a recreation of what

4:28 I visited yesterday which is Dolly's old

4:31 Tennessee Mountain Home kind of getting

4:33 it from a couple different angles this

4:34 is not the same one several this is a

4:37 different one

4:37 here at Dollywood Recreation and I just

4:40 also received word that the train will

4:42 not start running until 1 pm it's only

4:43 like 11 15 right now so heading over to

4:46 the Grist Mill which is very well known

4:49 for their bread they have like a

4:51 cinnamon bread that is amazing I think

4:53 I'm gonna go ahead and get in line now

4:55 because there's not a lot of people here

4:56 quite yet and this line gets very very

4:58 very very plentiful so I'm going to go

5:00 ahead and get a line for the Gristmill

5:01 get myself some cinnamon bread classic

5:03 it's kind of winning row moment with

5:05 Dollywood and as I'm waiting here in

5:07 line it's kind of interesting so the

5:09 train will run along the tracks over

5:10 there there used to be a like a former

5:13 attraction back when it was the railroad

5:15 theme park before Dollywood took over

5:17 there was like an old mine over here

5:19 they have torn the old mine out and now

5:21 they just have a walkway there but they

5:22 used to be like a little walkway over

5:23 there since I've been here they have

5:25 torn all that out over there I came up

5:26 with the name of the walkway and the

5:28 ride was but yeah that's all gone over

5:29 there right here as I'm waiting in line

5:31 for the Grist Mill and this is inside

5:34 here mini beat the sack and mean the

5:37 Miller

5:38 as he grind so shall he bolt

5:42 so this is the Old Mill here now I do

5:46 like olives and I kind of like blue

5:48 cheese I wonder what blue cheese olives

5:50 tastes like she made me Peach butter

5:57 here's a little behind the scenes on how

6:19 Mountain Christmas coffee over here

6:21 mom's putting the cream and sugar in

6:22 there as well I don't know what I prefer

6:24 better the white sauce or the applesauce

6:31 of polished off most of it yeah Dad's

6:42 now gonna walk over into this area which

6:44 after me going around Sevierville

6:45 yesterday kind of realized that over

6:47 here in Dollywood there's a uh more

6:49 Recreation is not just the mountain home

6:51 but also Red's Diner over here and the

6:53 theater that she first performed at in

6:55 Sevierville is recreated in

6:57 you know and it's in its own roundabout

7:00 way here at Dollywood as well so you got

7:02 the theater and you have the diner and

7:04 her Tennessee Mountain Home Recreation

7:06 as well so it's pretty cool that there

7:08 there's a lot of nods to Dolly's history

7:10 here in the park as well and not only in

7:13 the area severe County but also in

7:15 Dollywood property and this is their

7:17 version of autopia and lightning rod

7:19 going by it looks like it's testing

7:21 there's no one on it or basically like

7:22 Tomorrowland Speedway kind of like the

7:24 same kind of General general idea but

7:26 there's no one on lightning rod it gets

7:28 this no no gas just testing it now the

7:30 Gristmill water well was not working but

7:32 the water or not water well water wheel

7:34 but that water wheel over there is

7:36 working that clock is not right it's 12

7:38 o'clock it's not noon maybe it isn't it

7:41 what time is it right now

7:42 12 21. I was just informed that Santa is

7:46 inside this very building right over

7:48 here made our way over here and got in

7:50 line for the first train of the day leaf

8:08 this is not a miniature train like some

8:11 theme parks this is the real deal look

8:30 exiting I guess you could call it a

8:34 grand Circle Tour because it does come

8:38 it does go up the mountain a little bit

8:39 more some other theme parks instead of

8:42 going completely around it you see some

8:44 of the park and then you also go up into

8:47 the mountains

8:56 yeah this thing is wild how the the

8:56 Embers could get in your eye so that's

8:58 why I have my sunglasses well that in

9:00 because I can remind you so please

9:03 remain seated at all times it doesn't

9:05 include small children it's no standing

9:07 don't be enough to understand don't jump

9:13 Embers should get in your eyes so you

14:06 and I have found the pork rinds

14:16 in fact that's where they make the pork

14:16 rinds right there it says caution hot

14:17 grease they've already cooked them all

14:18 up and I'm gonna get a bag of them for

14:22 7.99

14:24 plate ones are 7.99 you know I've been

14:27 to Dollywood many many times I never

14:28 realized this Chapel was named after the

14:30 doctor Robert F Thomas that gave birth

14:32 to Dolly with pork rinds purchased now

14:35 heading up into Glacier Ridge and over

14:38 to Boise Fury take a look at the leaves

14:40 that are like Paul link down here this

14:42 is just so so cool with the wind blowing

14:45 and the leaves going down I know that

14:47 pork rides are definitely an acquired

14:48 taste but I have acquired The Taste for

14:51 them for crimes they come in barbecue

14:54 flavor but I just kind of like the basic

14:55 regular flavor and it has the Dollywood

14:57 logo with the butterfly and everything

14:59 on there so I'm going to eat a couple of

15:00 these and go on Blazing Fury one of my

15:02 favorite dark rides here Classic this is

15:05 a must do when at this amusement park

15:08 was it amusement or a theme park this is

15:10 themed I guess it's themed what yeah

15:13 it's themed steamed around Dolly Blazing

15:15 Fury a must do a staple Dollywood but

15:19 before jumping in the queue in the line

15:22 I need to finish off

15:31 silver dollar Mining Company because

15:34 this used to be Silver Dollar City there

15:35 still is a Silver Dollar City in Branson

15:37 Missouri but Dollywood used to be Silver

15:40 it was something named after a train

15:42 like a railway something Railway so it's

15:45 been three different names of this thing

18:58 hold on to a camera on that I think I'm

19:06 Lagoon and this vulture is trying to

19:21 watch it was the night before Christmas

19:41 cents for the matinee there's always a

19:43 Serial cartoon for the main show

19:45 sometimes before the show started a

19:47 stage in front of the curtain was used

19:48 for performers to sing and play while

19:50 people's moved and take their seats for

19:52 the movie okay I decided and opted out

19:54 of that show it was a 40-minute show and

19:56 they were seating everybody 20 minutes

19:58 before so I don't know if I wanted to

19:59 sit around in there for an hour

20:01 kind of go it's like you know I like to

20:03 just walk around and see stuff so

20:05 I'm gonna continue continue walking

20:07 around over at the church they are doing

20:09 a church service inside the chapel right

20:11 now our actual church service okay I may

20:13 have missed it it's 4 17 right now so

20:16 maybe it was just a very short service

20:18 but here the train going by here's the

20:20 pulpit there's Jesus up there shepherd

20:24 with the Sheep

20:32 I love this with all the old church pews

20:33 even have some some knitting on the side

20:36 of the wall or I'm not sure it's

20:37 knitting but it's like some sewing there

20:44 a blanket on the side and I do really

20:44 enjoy performances and live acts and

20:47 things like that but a lot of them are

20:48 40 and 50 minutes each

20:50 and a full day

20:52 of just sitting around it's yeah

20:54 yeah that's a kind of pepper them in

20:56 throughout the course that some of them

20:58 I'm skipping

20:59 now there is no Christmas parade here

21:01 this year in the past sometimes Dolly

21:04 Parton will show up and be in the

21:06 Christmas parade but I think she might

21:08 be is it this weekend

21:10 sometime in the near future I think

21:11 she's going to be in the Rock and Roll

21:12 Hall of Fame so maybe that's coinciding

21:14 with us also four years ago four or five

21:16 years ago when I was here for the

21:17 Christmas event they had some characters

21:19 in here that you can make this year

21:20 these doors aren't open to to meet them

21:23 I think he had Bumble and some of the

21:24 other claymation characters in there

21:26 they had gotten their rights to you now

21:27 earlier after I did Blazing Fury I did

21:30 go over and catch the last half of the

21:31 last half of the show of the Kingdom

21:33 Heirs they were awesome especially the

21:35 guy that was singing bass is such a deep

21:37 boy so they were you know what do you

21:39 call it not a trio but a quartet which

21:42 was really really awesome and before the

21:44 night's over I definitely want to check

21:46 I didn't I didn't bring the camera in to

21:47 film that but I caught the last half of

21:49 that show but definitely for the night

21:51 is over and I'm sure my parents are

21:52 going to see this too

21:53 the story of the first Christmas told to

21:55 the the tip The Wonder of the Nativity

22:00 think it's only a 15 minute show but

23:53 what do you call it a unicorn try to

23:55 draw on a blank on that as well look

23:57 there's like bubbles oh it's coming off

23:58 the top of this pink one look it's right

24:01 Noggin is like spitting up lots of

24:04 bubbles I do like the theming through

24:05 here so you got the hillside General

24:07 store which kind of looks like almost

24:09 like a hotel like an old motel from back

24:40 the holidays it's in about 30 minutes it

24:45 it's a half hour show so they got to sit

24:46 in on this one it's at the dream song

24:49 the theater which is right next to the

24:51 dolly Museum that is closed at the

24:53 moment and right next to her kind of

24:54 gift shop that's kind of tucked away in

24:56 the corner over here but it's going to

24:58 be called heart of the holiday 30 minute

24:59 show which I'm totally down for I've

25:01 been walking a lot so it'll be good to

25:03 sit for a bit okay we have made our way

25:05 inside

25:11 little house in here that has been built

25:14 in the fireplace inside

25:20 so this will be the what the fourth show

25:42 to my nanny's house and we would make

25:44 stockings and then Daddy would take a

25:46 sumama dance property and we would get

25:48 to pick out and cut down our own

25:50 Christianity now for those of you who

25:52 don't know

25:53 what we call our Aunt willity our Aunt

25:55 Dolly's big sister well those memories

25:57 those are the heart of the holiday for
