1:03 footballs frisbees this is a golf club
1:06 cover and check out the size of that one
1:09 look at the shy of that bucket the size
1:12 of their soda section is completely
1:14 mindblowing there is not one
1:17 biodegradable drinking container option
1:20 they're all styrofoam cups even have
1:23 their own line of True Blue cream
1:31 soda
1:31 got some pretty sweet swag a cool
1:33 t-shirt signifying this particular
1:35 location a new keychain and some
1:37 stickers and my favorite his head in
1:41 pillow form there are 37 locations but
1:44 only one of them have I dragged dung
1:47 through on accident on the bottom of my
1:49 flip-flop he remembers on a side note
1:52 this ham egg and cheese croissant is
1:54 legit this thing is so good down this
1:57 access road we will connect with another
2:00 street that in the
2:02 1970s was very Infamous the name of the
2:05 road is Calder once you pass these
2:08 trailers and a few homes you get into an
2:11 area where there really isn't a whole
2:13 heck of a lot starting right in here is
2:16 what is commonly referred to
2:19 as the Killing Fields up to 30 bodies
2:22 have been found on the stretch of
2:26 road right
2:28 inside that
2:30 brush since that time frame and almost
2:34 all of
2:35 them Unsolved Mysteries it's been the
2:38 subject of many different documentaries
2:41 and opinions and even a feature film
2:44 there's not a whole heck of a lot to see
2:46 and I don't want to focus on the subject
2:48 matter too terribly intensely do your
2:51 own Columbo likee reseearch skills if
2:53 you want to figure it out in fact maybe
2:56 Columbo should have been on the case and
2:59 they wouldn't be
3:00 unsolved so crazy that it was right
3:04 there change of subject now this place
3:07 has some really cool old classic cars
3:10 and
3:17 trucks check out this
3:17 ambulance old school ambulance there
3:20 that's the second or third one I've seen
3:21 of those around these parts in a week
3:24 I've noticed more and more of these
3:25 Goodwills calling themselves a select
3:28 store not just a Goodwill store but now
3:31 Goodwill select here's a movie I haven't
3:33 thought about in a very long time The
3:35 Man from Snowy River I used to watch
3:37 this a lot as a kid it's funny I was
3:40 just talking about this movie yesterday
3:42 and they have it on DVD the black hole
3:44 I'm kind of surprised to see this Fritz
3:47 the Cat this is an adult oriented
3:50 cartoon more obscenity and violence than
3:52 Disney ever dreamed of I didn't buy
3:55 anything I was just doing some window
3:56 shopping I always like to look for new
3:59 CDs
4:00 every once in a while the thrift store
4:02 new cruising tunes no luck now the city
4:05 of Alvin it's more like a town really
4:08 but you will be excited to know if
4:09 you're a baseball fan like I am that
4:12 this was the stomping grounds of the one
4:13 and only Nolan Ryan his family moved
4:16 here when he was just an infant and he
4:18 lived here up until 2003 so that means
4:21 his entire Hall of Fame baseball career
4:24 he resided in this town at one point
4:26 they used to have a museum dedicated to
4:29 him called the Nolan Ryan Center but it
4:32 has since closed and don't quote me on
4:35 this but I think the museum moved to his
4:37 new town that he resides in but right
4:39 there is where his statue used to stand
4:42 in front of those flag poles it's almost
4:44 as if it was set up like he was pitching
4:46 towards the door he definitely would
4:47 have broke that window because he had
4:49 one heck of a fast
4:58 ball there's the High School home of the
4:58 Yellow Jacket
5:00 and while attending here playing
5:02 baseball he was scouted for the major
5:05 leagues it was said it even at this age
5:08 level that catchers did not want to
5:10 catch for him cuz they were afraid they
5:12 would break their hand and some hitters
5:15 chickened out and didn't even want to
5:17 step up to the
5:18 plate when he was on the mound not only
5:21 is he in the category of best baseball
5:23 pitchers but also best baseball brawls
5:26 back in 1993 he threw a first pitch hit
5:29 Rob Ventura Robin did not like that too
5:31 much stormed the mound and Nolan handled
5:35 it like a boss you can look the clip up
5:38 it's pretty entertaining it's a
5:40 lighthouse except there's no water
5:42 around the guy on 35 Hot
5:44 Tamales I had no idea that the Tim
5:48 tracker was franchising in the
5:51 neighborhood for a very long time I
5:53 always thought this was a madeup word
5:56 that my childhood friends would use for
5:59 bug
6:00 that hung out in Moss and obviously
6:04 creeks in Texas amongst the electrical
6:07 towers and power lines is that huge
6:11 cross I think there's three or four of
6:13 them around the Greater Houston area
6:15 that one 170 ft tall I believe there she
6:19 is over there
6:22 Houston Houston Texas I am now at the
6:25 memorial Oaks Cemetery this next subject
6:29 is very
6:31 fascinating but also
6:33 very very
6:36 sad I'm standing here in the area called
6:40 baby land and next to the sound of the
6:44 interstate are the final resting places
6:48 of hundreds of children I've never
6:51 experienced losing a child but I can
6:53 only imagine the
6:55 Heartbreak must be completely unbearable
6:58 I want to focus on one
7:00 couple and their son you may remember an
7:03 Entertainer by the name of Tiny Tim in
7:05 1968 had a very popular song by the name
7:08 of Tiptoe Through the Tulips and for
7:11 horror fans current horror fans you also
7:14 might remember that song he was used in
7:16 the movie Insidious about a year after
7:19 the success of that song Johnny Carson
7:23 had a proposition for him to get married
7:26 on The Tonight Show which Tiny Tim did
7:30 to his wife Vicky after they were
7:33 married 3 or 4 months later she became
7:37 pregnant and she gave birth to a son but
7:40 evidently there were some serious
7:42 complications and the boy did not live
7:45 after childbirth making him a
7:49 stillborn and the Very peculiar thing
7:53 is they named
7:56 him
7:58 it he was never given a real
8:03 name
8:05 just
8:17 it I'm not really sure
8:17 why but they just called him it I'm sure
8:21 they had their
8:22 Reasons I'm guessing grief had a big
8:25 part of that
8:27 decision when you're under that kind of
8:29 you know stress and
8:32 sadness your mind isn't always working
8:35 right I don't know what their mentality
8:39 was for not giving their child a
8:45 nevertheless it is a very interesting
8:49 part of History he was a very
8:52 interesting man to say the least you
8:55 should look him up if you've never
8:57 listened to his music or seen his
8:58 interviews
9:05 I just can't get over the fact that they
9:05 did not give their son a
9:22 name there's been some very nasty
9:22 weather in this area the last few
9:25 days Houston got some major flooding
9:28 issues
9:29 luckily I haven't been stuck in any of
9:34 that but the weather could definitely be
9:36 a little bit drier that's for
9:53 slowly enjoying the
9:53 rain here comes the rain again falling
9:58 on large Marg like a
10:01 mystery I'll see you guys tomorrow so
10:04 don't get in
10:17 Linux not really
10:17 Vlog over
