Major Disneyland Changes and Ride Closures

0:29 the ride closures some of the things

0:31 that are gonna be happening for the

0:33 Disney takes this time of the year to do

0:37 some changes change things up fix some

0:40 things that need fixing and take

0:42 advantage of the smaller crowds that's

0:46 let's check it out we'll go over to

0:48 Disneyland momentarily where most the

0:50 happenings are but first DCA where

0:53 they've removed all the holiday decor

0:57 you know Headless Horseman no Christmas

0:59 tree towering to the sky just a regular

1:05 back to normal all the seasonal booths

1:08 with delicious food and beverages have

1:10 been removed what's wrong with this

1:12 there's another wall popped up there

1:14 everyone just seems to be enjoying the

1:17 day join the Sun for this time of year a

1:22 weather like we do in California these

1:24 birds are taking full advantage of

1:26 basting in the Sun get a tan

1:30 next to the Pacific War not much time is

1:32 being wasted in the reimagining of

1:34 California screamin no screams are

1:37 happening now along that track and the

1:40 Paradise Pier sign you see above the

1:42 loop-de-loop that will soon be taken

1:44 down this is gonna be Pixar pier in the

1:48 very near future I'm completely

1:50 surrounded by walls I hate to see my

1:53 favorite roller coaster go away but I'm

1:55 excited I'm excited to see what's gonna

1:58 happen next I am fairly certain it will

2:00 be something incredible put them the

2:05 tubes are completely covered in

2:06 scaffolding check out the entrance to

2:10 Midway mania and the mercantile never

2:13 seen it like this before I must confess

2:15 I'm one of the few Annual Pass holders

2:17 that was not familiar with the cove bar

2:19 but is going away there used to be quite

2:22 the congregation of people hanging out

2:26 in there from time to time Fun in the

2:28 Sun for everyone which is interesting

2:30 because where I'm standing if I just

2:33 shift it over a little bit the Sun

2:35 bleaches out the shock it's a good thing

2:40 though because for not much longer will

2:42 the Sun be part of the slogan

2:47 walls everywhere you can no longer make

2:49 the full circle the swings are as far as

2:52 you can go without being met with this

2:55 wooden structure here's a sign stating

3:00 in blue all that area is now closed it

3:04 is slightly unusual not to see Mickey's

3:13 ride vehicles on the fun wheel are gone

3:15 they're not dangling and swinging that's

3:18 why it looks so bizarre stepped about a

3:23 hundred yards across the way officially

3:27 now at Disneyland this is not how I'm

3:30 used to seeing the view from the train

3:32 station looking down Main Street there

3:34 are more walls out here and you can

3:38 shake a stick out my first thought

3:40 process was all of Main streets would be

3:43 blocked off but not all of it just when

3:47 you first walk in and completely around

3:49 the partner statue this might be one of

3:52 the first times that I can remember that

3:54 you can't get a picture with Walton

3:56 Mickey it's about as close as you can

3:59 get you just have to peek over the wall

4:00 and zoom in just a minute making my way

4:04 over to Fantasyland noticing that Dumbo

4:11 and this wall stretches a pretty good

4:25 board onto Dumbo's back on the

4:28 drawbridge walkway through the castle of

4:31 course the drawbridge is never utilized

4:41 space is being occupied for

4:43 refurbishment the massive whole interior

4:48 hub encompassed in wood there's a train

4:54 station way off in the distance upon

4:56 noticing a little further I think the

4:58 reason it stretches so far out is

5:05 tracks are but the horse carriage runs

5:07 on that's why it stretches so far out

5:10 into the hub making the walkway very

5:13 tiny now the Haunted Mansion is being

5:17 converted sands Jack Skellington back to

5:23 its normal scary self as as Splash

5:26 Mountain is also closed off in the

5:29 distance no sign of a wait time people

5:32 are gonna be waiting for quite some time

5:41 that's gonna be it's gonna be down for a

5:41 while though syrupy waiting for it sir

5:44 just go home and come back in like a
