0:02 welcome everyone Adam the whoo here
0:02 today's adventure will take us to animal
0:05 kingdom the first visit back to that
0:08 theme park since it has reopened and
0:11 since I've been back here in Central
0:14 Florida staying two nights at the top
0:18 century resort and because I booked a
0:22 room I was able to gain two more
0:26 reservations for the parks now as an
0:29 annual pass holder I could get three at
0:32 a time once I use one can procure
0:36 another however a little inside tip
0:40 anyone who already has a ticket or is an
0:43 AP if you stay at either a value resort
0:46 or any of the other hotels here on
0:49 property you are granted a reservation
0:54 during that time period you cannot book
0:56 it after your stay in so it has to be in
0:59 that window so I have chosen to utilize
1:03 this to go into animal kingdom I'm
1:06 inviting you to join me shall you now
1:10 there is bus transportation but I have a
1:13 rental car I'm just gonna utilize that
1:15 to get over there but if I didn't I
1:18 would be able to take the bus from here
1:20 I realized that was a little bit of a
1:22 long-winded explanation but it is some
1:25 insight I feel should be shared
1:28 just follow the bus
1:44 as of right now this is one of only the
1:44 only two parks that are currently open
1:46 this and Magic Kingdom Epcot and
1:50 Hollywood studios don't open for a
1:53 couple more days parking situation looks
1:55 rather mellow rope drop was at 8:00 a.m.
1:59 current time about five minutes to 10:00
2:02 a.m. didn't want to get here right when
2:06 it opened for this particular situation
2:09 I just kind of wanted to see what it was
2:11 like to to pull in here a couple hours
2:14 after everyone else arrived also the
2:18 trams I believe in all the parks at the
2:22 moment are not being utilized you can
2:25 see they have them parked right here
2:38 I am in butterfly 16 always like to
2:38 document this instead of committing it
2:41 to memory just so I don't forget they
2:44 are still spacing out the vehicles so
2:47 when you park you will have no one in
2:49 the immediate space next to you which is
2:54 nice plenty of elbow room I'm walking in
2:57 the shade right now did bring my
2:59 umbrella not only just in case of rain
3:02 but also for the Sun it is rumoured and
3:05 I've heard by many people stating that
3:08 this particular Park is the warmest
3:11 temperature wise of all of them here on
3:14 property this should be fun summer
3:17 Central Florida in the toast iasts
3:20 of theme parks my temperature was ninety
3:23 seven point four and bag check was a
3:25 breeze just basically walk right in
3:28 didn't even have to take anything out
3:29 show anything just held my umbrella walk
3:32 through and good to go there it is the
3:34 center point the icon of this place the
3:37 Tree of Life this is really nice this is
3:39 not a whole lot of people out and these
3:41 little washing stations are are out and
3:43 about as well
3:45 oh here them over there making some
3:48 noise some directional arrows here
3:51 showing some of the attractions with a
3:54 little very unique rusted out sign type
3:58 of vibe oh yeah I really enjoy that
4:01 attraction to the icy peaks of not the
4:04 Matterhorn
4:05 but Everest
4:08 they have the markers stretching all the
4:11 way back to here huh
4:12 just wave endeavor up there's goofy
4:14 wavin says 87 degrees but I swear it
4:17 feels about 10 degrees hotter humidity
4:19 of almost 80% as well yeah it is
4:22 officially officially toasty I want to
4:27 say this the acclamation to me residing
4:30 in California that is making me sweating
4:33 profusely but in all reality I I feel is
4:37 that even if I lived out here this would
4:39 still be considered warm my goodness
4:46 this is the second one of these I
4:47 already had here goes
4:52 attraction number one right number one
4:54 it states 25 minutes current time 11 20
4:57 let's test it out and see what happens
4:59 it only took about 10 minutes
5:03 not 25:10 mess for a row 10
5:13 no one behind me so they're splitting up
5:13 your group could be in one section just
5:17 behind you is empty is it is tight out
5:21 here Sonny
6:11 while he's tearing up the track what's
6:11 happening
6:58 okay and after exiting they have these
6:58 machines because it's de census a little
7:00 bit of this that you could repay you
7:02 could use so much fun I'm gonna do it
7:08 again
7:08 yeah nothing in oh there goes another
7:10 one nothing in these transcriptions
7:14 saying I can't go more than one time so
7:17 doing it
7:44 they're running the trains empty after
7:44 they clean them every few cycles just to
7:46 air them out that's good I have been
7:49 utilizing my umbrella and Danny 702 has
7:53 just arrived is she also has an umbrella
7:56 it's a good idea right a little bit
7:59 keeps us keep the Sun off the off the
8:01 brow oh you got it alright so much from
8:19 oh so much for going on this and more
8:20 than one time oh yeah being a bit on it
8:22 yeah okay let's find something else
8:24 another one of my favorites
8:26 dinosaur going in the pre-show room is
8:31 just open air no standing around you
8:34 just continue moving moving on trying to
8:37 regulate any sort of proud congregation
8:41 before the lights are flickering we're
8:44 in the Dino Institute
8:52 how long do you think we waited five
8:52 minutes let's do that whoa going back in
8:57 time Pharmacy
9:23 that got a little scary a little
9:25 frightening that was quite a
9:30 time-machine adventure
9:39 only a five-minute way for the safaris
9:39 oh it's happening it's happening right
9:41 now they get the nickname ghosts of the
9:47 course for the rarity of their sightings
9:49 in the wild on the right here is another
9:52 antelope species with that lighter tan
9:54 coat of theirs known as the greater kudu
9:56 antelope species at around 55 inches at
9:59 the shoulder and all the way on the
10:00 other side of the watering hole there is
10:03 no copy now the okapi due to the
10:05 striping found on its lower legs is
10:08 often thought to be related to the zebra
10:10 and they will spend most of their day in
10:11 the water like this to avoid overheating
10:13 in direct sunlight
10:14 however at night to walk main miles away
10:16 from the riverbeds in order to feed out
10:19 along the shore
10:27 sixteen feet in length and they can meet
10:27 up to half their body we do that as a
10:40 way to conserve water during the dry
10:42 season out on the savanna storing all
10:44 that water in their giant trucks they're
10:46 also known as the Tree of Life
10:48 don't overdo it elephants will knock
10:51 down trees to eat on them dry philtrum
10:53 up the trees while browsing antelope
10:56 species in a cattle trim down with
10:58 reticence as you reach the bottom up
11:00 they know here there are a number of
11:01 groups about traveling mountains here
11:03 are the ones they are closest to here on
11:05 our right hand son they are unique for a
11:09 small bit of skin at the base of their
11:11 neck that loose skin you can probably
11:13 see here known as a dewlap nose help
11:16 them regulate their body temperature
11:17 here they're one of the only species of
11:19 zebra to have that beast also known as
11:25 the new for the new new birth day so
11:27 that they make
11:28 there are the second biggest Kongregate
11:30 are in the world aside from us humans
11:33 congregating in groups of up to 1.5
11:35 million for their yearly migration see
11:40 some air of the left-hand side is where
11:42 the trees they're to be solitary at the
11:55 moment it's likely a male African
11:57 elephant elephant elephant once they
12:00 leave female Hertz around the age of 12
12:02 fully when this happens it can lead to
12:04 human independent conflict but thanks to
12:07 research done right here at Ronda
12:09 research we found that African elephants
12:11 are actually quite afraid leaves using
12:14 that information and working with Kenyan
12:16 farmers we've been able to implement B
12:18 fences around the properties across
12:20 fields we've got a really great view
12:22 I'll turn up here on my left hand side
12:24 just drops the watering hole there
12:32 they can be the jungle friends
12:38 himself
12:40 we get elephants which how he gets the
12:42 model
12:49 now so let's the elephant's off to the
12:49 left coming up on the left as well we're
12:50 also passing by some greater flamingos
12:53 so much greater life don't get are the
12:55 latest species of flamingos and they get
12:57 their coloration over time from their
12:59 diet mainly by trim if you see those
13:02 little great puff fills your auntie I am
13:04 on there so that's our baby for each
13:06 other depending on the home a personal
13:12 diet in order to gain that light pink
13:14 swimming I always think of Three's
13:17 Company the intro to Three's Company
13:20 right every time I see a flamingo
13:23 they've been around since prehistoric
13:25 times and they're actually omnivores are
13:35 burrowing animals and you can see their
13:37 mamas down in the ditch there along the
13:38 side now warthogs don't often take their
13:42 own burrows instead reusing older
13:45 burrows dug by other animals and when
13:47 threatened by predators fell back up
13:49 into theirs into their burrows with
13:51 their tusks pointed forked that spike
13:54 right there sweep underneath up
14:09 I don't see spike he's underneath the
14:09 leave of that tree
15:45 we can be
15:45 miles and miles hope the track that out
15:49 okay beam earlier the track with them
17:10 oh okay good I don't know where to be
17:10 found
