Disney World EPCOT - Moms First Time As Passholder / Eating Garden Grill & Candlelight Processional

0:21 I have purchased her the lowest tier

0:24 because it's the only one that's on sale

0:25 there's no APS on sale with the

0:26 exception of the Monday through Friday

0:28 pass and there's a few weeks I think

0:31 there's like a month or two throughout

0:32 the course of the year you cannot go but

0:34 right now there are reservations

0:35 available so I booked Epcot today we're

0:37 gonna go to the candlelight processional

0:39 later we're gonna get Garden Grill to

0:41 eat

0:42 my mom likes shows there's a lot of

0:44 attractions and rides she has not seen

0:46 she has not been to the parks in oh so

0:48 long but part of the development

0:52 part of the development

0:54 of my early love of the parks is based

0:57 on my mom booking trips for myself my

1:00 dad

1:01 my sister

1:02 and me to go to the parks on vacation

1:07 so this is kind of my way of

1:09 getting her to kind of understand what

1:11 an eight what AP life is all about I'm

1:14 inviting you to join me shall we when

1:16 you buy day tickets and you only go

1:18 every so often let's say on a vacation

1:21 or you know every couple years by the

1:23 time you get back to your hotel and now

1:25 you're completely exhausted I guess you

1:26 got there at rope drop you stayed till

1:27 close you hit every attraction every

1:28 ride you waited hours and hours and

1:31 hours on all the different lines but

1:33 being an annual pass holder you kind of

1:34 just pop in

1:35 so Garden Grill the rotating restaurant

1:37 at the land

1:39 I also booked a genie plus I got

1:41 Ratatouille already and possibly a few

1:42 others kind of see how that goes I

1:44 bought Genie Plus for today

1:46 and then also the candlelight

1:48 processional so land Pavilion restaurant

1:51 Genie Plus

1:53 and

1:54 Candlelight processional which I have

1:56 never seen up close we got some we got

1:57 some good seats a lot more on that as

1:59 the day progresses I gotta get going

2:01 there I gotta go pick her up I'm pretty

2:03 excited I think she will be too all

2:05 right pulling up here

2:06 it is currently

2:08 1108 also that water is not rain I just

2:11 wipe my windshield off but it's water

2:31 all right mom your first day as an

2:33 so you're a thought of Disney is usually

2:36 an all-day waiting and tons of lines

2:39 going home exhausted but that's not

2:42 going to be the case today we're just

2:43 going to kind of go at our own pace yeah

2:46 because now you have an annual pass

2:48 you can come here on the weekends

2:50 whatever or weekdays I should say

2:51 whenever you want yeah

3:01 yeah because a lot of new stuff but what

3:01 you remember like once what are your

3:02 favorite things at Epcot that you

3:04 as far as rides go it's soaring you like

3:06 soaring yeah I booked a fast pass for

3:09 that so we're gonna do soaring yeah it's

3:11 been a long time since I've been out

3:13 here so a lot of new stuff probably a

3:15 lot of new stuff all right we are in

3:18 they are making an announcement that the

3:21 virtual cue for Guardians is full but I

3:24 ended up getting us lightning lights so

3:25 we're gonna go on my mom's gonna go on

3:27 Guardians which I'm excited about

3:29 because they have a special holiday

3:31 overlay on Guardians

3:35 so that's gonna be fun too

3:37 I didn't get to do that the other Vegas

3:38 it was kind of book all booked up I've

3:40 been going the holiday overlay on

3:41 Guardians today and my mom's gonna go on

3:43 it

3:43 she's excited about doing it thanks for

3:46 me what's that right for him pray for

3:48 you I got you

3:50 now inside the land Pavilion because I

3:52 booked the genie Plus for both of us

3:54 able to go on soaring first we're going

3:56 to do soaring get off the soaring then

3:58 there's a 10 minute wait just pretty

4:00 much a walk-on not associated with Genie

4:02 plus gonna walk on living with the land

4:04 and then immediately after that it

4:06 should be about time for our 120

4:08 reservation for Garden Grill Straight

4:11 Ahead a rotating character meet and

4:13 greet dining experience over there and

4:16 because I'm doing that that gave us

4:19 front row seating or at least within the

4:21 first couple rows front row close up for

4:24 the candlelight processional at 8 30

4:26 tonight so basically it's called a

4:29 dining package for the candlelight

4:31 processional so that's that was kind of

4:33 my method today and we have we requested

4:36 row number one which takes you up to the

4:39 highest point of the screen there's bro

4:41 threes kind of towards the towards the

4:43 bottom but we want to get the full

4:45 experience here so yeah

4:53 the last time we went all that like all

4:53 as a family seven years ago a long time

4:55 ago we waited like an hour and a half

4:58 but they had to wait like 10 minutes

5:01 nice and tight very nice to get on here

5:03 very quickly no waiting

5:10 I can't remember the ending I don't know

5:10 if this is the flying around the world

5:12 it was two different ones it's a

5:14 different one on the on the west coast

5:16 and a different one on the east coast

5:18 but this one I believe ends with the

5:19 fireworks at Epcot where West Coast you

5:22 end the fireworks at Disneyland but here

5:32 what'd you think it was beautiful I went

5:32 to all kinds of countries and places I

5:34 never would never go if I didn't see

5:36 that what was your favorite scene oh the

5:46 neat they did ask for the very top row

5:48 but maybe the second row would be better

5:50 because the top row it was kind of

5:52 distorted a little bit like this it was

5:55 leaning just thought about it this is

5:56 pretty nice it's pretty much a walk-on

6:16 I think it's nice about this is It's

6:16 like a 15-20 minutes where we're not on

6:39 revolving restaurant right up top of

7:24 about a year ago a lady jumped off one

7:24 of the boats and grabbed one of those

7:26 cucumbers and then she fell over here

7:30 so I'm going to recommend mom do not

7:31 grab a cucumber do not jump off the boat

7:40 making it up do not be tempted to grab a

7:43 cucumber stay on the boat ride Mom

8:31 they have lunch and dinner this is the

10:09 they said to get there around eight

10:10 because it's going to kind of fill up

10:11 there's like six or seven rows for the

10:13 dinner gas but if we want to get like

10:15 closer either way we're going to have a

10:17 good seat but they said to get there

10:18 about eight o'clock and this is what

10:19 we're dealing with they will refill this

10:21 if we go through it but basically you

10:22 got some beef over here you got some

10:24 chicken you got some mashed potatoes you

10:26 got some green beans got some mac and

10:29 cheese which I kind of have my eye on

10:30 there as well and it's served in like a

10:32 skillet like I think frying pan big

10:34 Skillet frying pan and they bring the

10:36 Beverages and Mason jars oh hello Mickey

12:29 it's unusual to see it from this

12:30 perspective because usually I'm down

12:32 there on the boat ride looking up at

12:34 this but today I'm up here looking down

12:36 at the boat ride that I was on that I

12:40 was on earlier

12:41 oh so all kind of berries on there

12:43 absolutely strawberries blackberries

13:49 we're getting in a clam shell here

13:51 moment we're gonna go into the sea to

13:55 try to find Nemo

14:01 I always like this ride it kind of

14:01 reminds me a little bit of The Little

14:02 Mermaid attraction same kind of

14:03 clamshell deal except on this one we're

14:05 not going to the seat of SIA mermaid

14:07 we're going to find Nemo

14:09 okay we stopped over and guest services

14:10 where they have a Mickey telephone here

14:12 my Mom now has traded in her one one

14:15 they gave at the front for an even cuter

14:55 it's not the best tasting thing that

22:54 Christmas story the traditional carols

22:57 and especially the Glorious music of the

23:00 holiday season to continue this
