0:03 welcome everyone out of the woo here
0:03 you'll notice behind me well obviously
0:05 behind natalie
0:06 are some screen captures today here in
0:10 san francisco wednesday
0:12 august 4th as a recording of this did i
0:15 get that correct yes
0:16 we're gonna be doing the room 2003
0:19 filming locations tommy wassal is at
0:22 wasa
0:24 wazio nonetheless he has
0:27 created a film that has that is living
0:31 on
0:32 an infamy a classic of sorts you know
0:35 when you say when you think about the
0:36 worst movies ever made
0:38 this is probably in the top 10 at least
0:40 maybe the top five
0:42 but we are going to retrace some of the
0:43 steps and
0:45 there are some trolley car cable cars
0:48 involved and the landscape of san
0:51 francisco
0:52 will also be happening starting off here
0:54 at union square
0:57 i almost called it union station we're
0:59 gonna do this this is something i've
1:00 been wanting to do for
1:01 quite a while most of it well
1:05 the interiors were all in los angeles
1:08 the majority of the exteriors in san
1:11 we're not going to hit each and every
1:13 spot we're going to hit a majority
1:15 any particular ones that you were really
1:16 looking forward to seeing with your own
1:18 eyes definitely the flowers
1:20 the flower shop where i think he holds
1:22 the flowers upside down when he leaves
1:25 and then the the the part when he passed
1:27 the dog what did he say
1:30 inviting you to join me oh yeah and
1:32 natalie we have quite a few
1:34 little screen captures here and it's
1:36 very very gusty
1:38 very very windy join me in that one
1:43 now we'll be going a little bit out of
1:44 sequence in order to get it all done in
1:45 one day i'm just going to film it as we
1:47 go to the spots
1:48 but first off you know all around the
1:50 city so it's kind of spread out
1:52 will be when johnny is walking along
1:54 here
1:56 doing a little contemplating a little
1:58 thinking there's a taxi
1:59 behind him and if you notice if you
2:02 watch that scene there is a disney store
2:04 on that very corner the disney store has
2:06 been moved a couple blocks away
2:08 right one block just one block over but
2:10 in the film you can see the disney store
2:12 is that far building behind
2:14 the trees and even the little park
2:16 benches and everything still looks
2:19 precisely the same granted this was back
2:21 in 03 so it wasn't
2:22 too terribly long ago yeah it all looks
2:25 pretty much identical
2:27 when he's doing a little pondering
2:29 walking through here even those park
2:31 benches oh here comes a trolley
2:33 those pigeons weren't there but there
2:34 were trolleys going up and down we're
2:36 going to go over to another one of the
2:37 streets what's the street that had the
2:39 streetcar scene on
2:40 uh california on cal is a california ave
2:43 california street now these pigeons were
2:46 not back here in o3 unless
2:49 the lifespan of a pigeon would be let's
2:52 see it is 2000
2:53 17 years doing the math correctly
2:56 is that right 18 years it's 2021
3:00 it was a no three so it had been yeah 18
3:02 years give or take 17 18 years
3:05 i just kind of want to show one more
3:07 angle here of this little area
3:10 and even this little awning here was
3:13 there back then
3:14 as well oh yeah there are street cars
3:17 going all over here right over there
3:27 the famous western hotel the famous
3:27 westin hotel which
3:28 right up here very unusual because you
3:32 would assume
3:33 his apartment was on ground level but
3:35 they show an exterior right before the
3:37 party at the end of the movie
3:39 that was right up there what the heck
3:41 that's confusing
3:43 so he walked in from the lower like a
3:44 four-story building and then
3:46 suddenly there's the top of this thing
3:49 at the end
3:50 so when it really boils down up here
3:52 would have been
3:54 where the room where everything took
3:56 place even though it was kind of more
3:58 like a couple of rooms and a city
4:01 but if you're thinking of where his room
4:04 was
4:04 it's very very windy so which one of
4:06 these lights would have been
4:08 would have been where the party was
4:11 a good place to have a party yeah right
4:13 up there
4:14 i'm gonna zoom in kind of that same
4:17 angle there
4:29 he gets very frustrated she's frustrated
4:29 what's the what's this i think he says
4:31 something like i've had it with this
4:33 world
4:34 is that what he says something like
4:37 something like that
4:42 you betrayed me
4:57 just had to recreate it had to walk
4:57 through the same spot
4:58 there
5:11 powell and hyde street
5:11 well at least that's the oh there's even
5:13 a vw bug over there
5:15 bug bus a trolley's passing
5:20 walked about a half a mile still about a
5:20 block to go
5:22 to the next spot up on california which
5:25 is up this hill
5:26 that is so steep there are stairs
5:29 built into the hill that's how steep
5:32 this road is
5:34 getting some steps up really burn some
5:36 calories around here
5:39 even the cars had to park sideways this
5:41 very impressive church was shown on a
5:43 number of occasions boy this wendy just
5:45 kind of
5:45 holding on the clipboard very difficult
5:47 very windy
5:48 very crisp and cool including the
5:52 opening credit sequence when the the
5:55 trolley street car
5:56 goes by i'll show that momentarily i'm
5:58 going to wait for a street car but both
6:00 angles they use this many many times
6:03 including this one where you can see
6:05 this building over here and then going
6:06 down
6:07 the dissension there of the hill so pay
6:10 attention to that building
6:12 which is kind of off in the distance
6:13 there zoomed in
6:21 they use this corner many occasions they
6:24 also use an angle going back
6:25 up the hill to the side of the church
6:27 notice the the way the tracks kind of
6:29 formulate over to the side
6:31 there's a car horn had to be very
6:33 patient now you'll notice it's number 57
6:36 not number 50 that is rolling by but it
6:39 is still
6:40 the same one so he would have been right
6:42 on that
6:44 that track going down
6:48 during the opening credit sequence and
6:50 as it passed by
6:52 looking the other way passing that
6:53 building over there
7:00 gonna go find a way to jump on that and
7:00 head down the hill
7:01 since i'm so close definitely want to
7:04 get a better angle look at this
7:09 wow is it open
7:15 uh sometimes oh yeah they have a gate in
7:15 front sometimes it is open
7:18 forever
7:30 going up oh hi doggy
7:30 found a spot waiting for the trolley to
7:33 go down
7:34 california maybe the same route that he
7:37 took
7:39 at the beginning of the movie has the
7:41 signage right there
7:42 the muni cable car
7:49 and where we're standing at this spot
7:49 not a lot of wind
7:50 however if you turn this corner
7:55 a huge gust of wind got that way
7:58 i have i have to cup over the microphone
8:02 just kind of stand around the corner
8:03 here while we're waiting for the trolley
8:05 car
8:06 it's a true summer day true summer day
8:08 it's in i almost said socal
8:10 nor snorkel right northern california
8:13 norcal i gotta i'm so used to saying
8:15 socal socal's warm
8:17 norcal's not right now earlier
8:20 all right heading over
8:43 just to give an example right there is
8:44 where the camera would have been
8:45 set up looking back at that opening
8:49 credit sequence right there
9:06 oh
9:25 into the line here and i'm noticing
9:25 number 57
9:27 the screen use one is sitting here right
9:31 yeah check it out right there number
9:33 five
9:34 seven which means he was sitting
9:38 hey you see five seven this is the one
9:41 where he was standing up it went by and
9:44 then he took his seat right here
10:00 nailed it pretty nice
10:00 that there still is a number 57
10:08 yeah you know what i might do it too i
10:08 might stand right there in that center
10:09 section
10:11 he was standing here at first
10:47 noticing the clock is directly at 12.
10:47 both hands are pointed straight up so
10:49 they were waiting for that moment
10:51 to get this scene which either that or
10:54 the clock at the time
10:56 was broken took a moment to figure out
10:58 exactly where this was
11:00 but notice the fountain over there to
11:02 the far right and this little embankment
11:04 hill
11:11 that is shown here
11:11 and faintly in the haze over there you
11:13 can see the clock tower
11:15 and the pier building as he's walking
11:17 now the
11:18 the light posts have changed but over
11:21 here you see a concrete embankment
11:23 from that that fountain
11:26 which is right over there and he
11:28 continues to walk along this pathway
11:34 and there's a fire hydrant off in the
11:34 distance that you can see
11:37 that fire hydrant shown right here
11:40 with a little bit of layer from
11:51 that would be right over that way you
11:52 still see that fire hydrant located
11:53 right over there
12:02 and the very next scene after this back
12:02 at union square which is like
12:03 miles away movie magic and even though
12:06 the light poles are gone
12:08 check out this electric box right down
12:10 here with the pavement around it
12:12 i'm going to say that this is that
12:14 electric box pavement has been removed
12:16 that is the pathway that he would have
12:18 walked right past that
12:30 pretty cool you can stand up there yeah
12:30 oh that little walkway up there we
12:32 should go up there
12:49 i was waiting for you to appear on that
12:49 on that other side over there
12:50 they had it chained off yeah it's pretty
12:54 i never knew you could walk back
12:55 up on here well that's the water's going
12:57 today when we're down here the other day
12:59 it was turned off
13:00 yeah we were walking along the pier pier
13:01 39 up to pier one
13:03 and you said they used to have the water
13:05 on and now the water's back on
13:08 you put that into the universe almost
13:10 manifested
13:12 manifested h2o pretty neat
13:15 oh hi birdie got about a half mile walk
13:19 to the next spot
13:26 this structure is columbus tower with
13:26 the cityscape
13:28 behind it this very block was used on a
13:30 couple of occasions
13:32 not only for this exterior
13:35 lit up under the shroud of nightfall
13:40 but also they utilize this intersection
13:44 showing the happy donut over there and
13:47 what is
13:48 now hotel north beach was a different
13:50 hotel
13:51 these accommodations back when the movie
13:54 filmed here
14:03 pretty iconic looking building hotel
14:03 saint paul
14:04 was what it was back then and you can
14:06 see the happy donut
14:09 still there over in the corner
14:20 i noticed they did this quite a bit
14:20 where they would stand at one
14:21 intersection
14:22 and get a couple different angles that
14:24 they used throughout the course of the
14:25 movie
14:26 another name for what is referred to as
14:28 columbus tower what i was calling
14:30 columbus tower
14:31 is the sentinel building which has been
14:34 used in a lot of other productions as
14:35 well
14:37 in fact filmmakers who used to work in
14:39 this building
14:41 quite a few notable names including
14:43 warner herzog and george lucas
14:46 how cool is that a lot of film history
14:48 here at this building
14:49 and there just so happens to be a little
14:50 restaurant right down here as well i
14:52 ordered the cobb
14:53 salad and you went with some fresh they
14:55 said they make their pasta
14:57 freshly made made to order once you
14:58 order it then they roll
15:00 do the cover cut it whatever the pasta
15:03 magic
15:04 pasta man you got some spaghetti and
15:05 meatballs and there is a
15:07 coppola tie-in that francis coppola
15:10 has crushed red pepper and this is
15:13 located as i show the
15:15 both of the entrees next to the building
15:17 next to the north beach hotel
15:20 and the happy donuts here on kearney
15:23 right underneath
15:24 the columbus building even though they
15:26 used a lot of these as green screens
15:28 they built this
15:29 little you know entrance onto the exit
15:31 of the roof while the exit onto the top
15:33 of the roof scenes
15:34 you can see these buildings kind of in
15:37 the background
15:38 trying to pinpoint where all that would
15:40 be you can also see the spires of that
15:42 church natalie was noticing there
15:44 and then i kind of shifted over this way
15:46 and i'm paying attention to the
15:48 the two buildings off in the distance it
15:51 would be kind of down this block that
15:53 went up with a bit on top of one of the
15:54 roofs
15:55 just to get that angle right there
15:59 and then can you flip the page one more
16:01 over
16:02 when he like goes up hi mark
16:06 i did not hit her i did not i did not
16:11 kind of kind of around that way it's
16:12 hard to pinpoint exactly which one it
16:14 was but
16:15 on one of those roofs up there facing
16:17 that direction
16:19 oh hi mark a look at the two little
16:23 peaks there of that cathedral
16:25 off in the distance okay this looks a
16:27 lot this looks
16:28 precisely like the same ones
16:33 that are right over here you can really
16:36 tough to see him in the haze there but
16:38 there they are those are the two
16:41 cathedral spires there he is up on the
16:44 roof
16:45 so behind him all a green screen but
16:50 they did come out here and film
16:51 know what they what they needed to show
16:53 up on that green screen
17:16 so
17:22 made it to the corner of leavenworth and
17:22 beach
17:23 this courtyard marriott can be seen out
17:26 the window of the coffee shop
17:28 which is now a pizza zone
17:32 kind of wish you could still get a
17:33 piping hot caffeinated beverage from
17:36 it's a very interesting dialogue when
17:39 he's talking about his business
17:41 no i cannot anyway how's your sex life
17:45 right inside the pizza zone natalie's
17:48 standing underneath the pants
17:50 you know that's a rather large pair of
17:52 pants and directly above you
17:54 is a photograph
17:58 of tommy wasau and the room right up
18:00 there now from what i've heard
18:02 he still owns the building tommy still
18:04 owns the building that's why
18:06 oh there's even a cardboard cutout up
18:08 there kind of facing the other way
18:10 but that's why it still has the room
18:14 rated r by the way if you've never seen
18:15 this yeah yeah definitely you're in for
18:17 a real treat but keep in mind it is
18:19 not a rated pg not rated g not even
18:20 pg-13
18:22 it is rated r why
18:25 are these pair of jeans in front of the
18:27 room poster
18:29 that's the curious question but if you
18:31 look out the window in that scene
18:33 you can see this courtyard marriott
18:35 across the way
18:37 you getting a photo of the gigantic
18:40 jeans
18:42 oh man i really love really love
18:46 horrible
18:47 movies i've done quite a few of them and
18:49 this is this is up there
18:51 with some of them you can however tell
18:53 that it's the same windows
18:56 across the front here you still see it's
18:58 the same windows so now there's a tomato
19:00 holding a
19:01 a pizza pie but you see out the window
19:03 over there that marriott as i stated
19:05 and this is the inside portion looking
19:08 across
19:10 was sitting right there tables have
19:12 changed as i stated
19:13 but there is the angle with the marriott
19:15 signage
19:24 so cool right against the window
19:24 they're gonna walk in this very door
19:26 right over here
19:38 oh this is pretty neat looks like he
19:38 returned here later after it became a
19:40 pizza place
19:41 and got a photo in here
19:48 after a little closer inspection above
19:48 the handshake
19:49 notice the green pillar here and then
19:51 the little two little plastic
19:53 pieces that connect with the window so
19:56 you see like the the green
19:57 pillar and the well i guess it would be
20:00 two pieces on either side holding the
20:02 window in this is where
20:05 this is where they were sitting and
20:06 that's where the handshake was
20:09 right there
20:21 pretty cool
20:21 oh hi donkey uh okay
20:24 this is we're gonna go ahead and hop on
20:26 this bus
20:27 go over the next spot this is about a
20:29 two mile commute
20:31 in route to what was the exterior of the
20:34 home
20:34 from what i heard oh man someone just
20:37 went across there the
20:38 person on the bicycle they almost they
20:40 could have not ended well
20:48 as he turns the corner going home you
20:50 can see
20:51 this building off to the side there and
20:54 another
20:54 portion this building over here has been
20:57 repainted
20:58 and for what i've always heard they did
20:59 not have permission to utilize this
21:03 so they just pulled up
21:08 right here in front of the door this
21:12 would be the driveway
21:14 and for a couple scenes you can actually
21:16 see some papers
21:17 well he picks up the paper one but
21:18 there's another one when they pull up
21:20 here both of them get out of the car
21:23 there are a couple of packages right
21:24 there of course they don't touch the
21:25 packages because
21:26 they did not belong to them oh you see
21:28 the packages
21:30 let's see the packages right over there
21:32 to the side
21:34 and then there's another screen capture
21:36 where he's got the the paper i believe i
21:38 have that too
21:39 if you flip through those there should
21:40 be one with him picking up the paper at
21:42 the door
21:43 and this is actually a garage next to it
21:46 okay so there's the
21:47 the credit sequence at the beginning
21:50 and then there should be one more with
21:52 uh picking up the paper
21:54 yeah there it is right there
21:58 how random just just pick a pick up
22:02 a facade and it somehow becomes the
22:05 front of the
22:13 of the room very windy here we go
22:13 right there that's inside there was the
22:17 room
22:17 the room the rear the room the or the
22:22 you have to wonder if the people that
22:24 live here are happy about the fact that
22:26 people stop by
22:27 get photos and this film is remembered
22:30 because they did not grant permission at
22:32 all or if they just
22:33 embrace it and they realize people are
22:36 going to come by here
22:37 yeah probably on a semi-regular basis
22:39 take photographs and hold up
22:41 screen captures and technically it is
22:43 two different addresses
22:46 not just one the gauge is still there
22:49 oh check it out so the neighbors
22:53 right over here there we go so there's
22:56 the gate over to the side so yeah it's
22:58 still there
23:03 it's just so random just chose this for
23:03 no reason or for
23:05 a reason but with him you just never
23:07 know what his reasoning on anything is
23:09 you never know you don't even know much
23:10 about him where he's from he's a mystery
23:12 he's a mystery how old he is
23:15 and just about a block and a half from
23:17 the palace of fine arts
23:19 this structure is massive might not even
23:22 show up on cameras
23:24 the size of this place this is huge i'm
23:26 just so excited this is my favorite spot
23:27 in the city
23:28 it's ruins from the world's fair i'm
23:29 just so excited yeah it's pretty pretty
23:31 awesome
23:32 where he was like walking along i
23:33 believe was this this little sidewalk
23:36 down here because you can see the
23:37 fountain
23:38 in the distance so it starts here it's
23:40 kind of down from this angle
23:42 and he just just a quick shot of him
23:44 strolling across
23:46 here cam returns from here notice the
23:48 fountain over his his shoulder there
23:54 which would be right there and then the
23:54 next photo would be
23:56 the centerpiece there which is the the
24:00 same angle
24:00 the camera just pans and shows that
24:04 so goes from there with him walking it
24:06 should reiterate once again really hard
24:08 to
24:09 put into perspective how this probably
24:11 does not
24:12 look as impressive on camera as it does
24:15 in real life these pillars here gosh by
24:18 100
24:18 100 something feet tall yeah
24:42 now from here gotta go three quarters of
24:42 a mile
24:42 give or take up that incline to the lion
24:46 street
24:46 steps just to show how steep this is
24:50 all the cars got to go up a couple more
24:52 blocks and then take a right
24:54 all the cars parked sideways a little
24:56 more elevation here
24:58 in northern california than in in
25:01 florida
25:02 a little bit more elevation here and not
25:06 done yet
25:07 now approaching the lion street steps
25:11 going straight up to document the
25:16 couple of photos just looking for this
25:18 screen capture at the top of them
25:20 camera was a flight above where i'm at
25:22 started the scene with down here
25:24 more or less where i'm sitting right now
25:28 and both of them started to run
25:31 not from down there obviously they
25:33 started from down there
25:34 but the start of the scene began here
25:37 and they
25:37 ran up to the top right up there and if
25:42 all works out well
25:42 this little manhole should be up there
25:45 to prove it
25:46 and at the top corner of broadway and
25:49 lion
25:49 and there is there is that
25:52 drainage topper there
25:56 looking down
26:03 right there with off in the distance
26:03 is the palace of fine arts
26:09 that's something else climbing up this
26:09 made it now over to jfk drive
26:11 in the golden gate park and the angle
26:15 here is where johnny pulls up
26:19 mark is sitting next to a tree the tree
26:21 is now gone these stanchions
26:23 are still here but leaning with his back
26:27 up against the tree with a football
26:30 right there in fact that car is in the
26:32 same spot as
26:34 someone else's car is here and it was
26:37 all one take
26:38 johnny gets out of his vehicle meets up
26:41 with mark there
26:43 runs past these little pylon stanchions
26:47 past those very trees over there kind of
26:52 wish that to treat that tree that he was
26:54 sitting against would
26:55 have still been there however tree has
26:58 been removed
26:59 and they had a riveting tossing of the
27:02 football
27:03 experience going past
27:07 these very trees the angle was right
27:10 about there
27:11 throwing the football back and forth
27:12 from a a grand distance of about two
27:15 feet
27:16 give or take about two feet between us
27:18 kind of about about the same distance as
27:20 we are
27:21 just kind of throwing the ball back and
27:22 forth as shown here
27:24 you can see there's a limb up here that
27:26 has been removed
27:27 and then the limit the limb that is up
27:30 top
27:31 right there on that far tree and they go
27:33 down into this little
27:35 kind of lower section a little grassy
27:38 and still continue to toss the football
27:40 around running down this little pathway
27:45 from you know you basically reach out
27:47 and touch each other by throwing the
27:48 football back and forth to each other
27:50 this is definitely the field oh hi doggy
27:54 there's a lot of doggies kind of says it
27:58 doggy doggy hi dog oh hi donkey oh hi
28:02 doggie right over here they were
28:05 jogging down see right there see the
28:09 distance
28:10 yeah see they can almost lean over and
28:13 touch each other hand each other
28:14 the football but they don't they
28:16 continue to
28:18 toss it around as they careen down that
28:22 little embankment there
28:24 and that clearing is still up there
28:28 in the woods here they're even closer
28:31 than they were before
28:37 i love it okay they've spaced out a
28:37 little more now
28:38 they've spaced out probably a good 15-20
28:41 feet now which is good
28:43 you're kind of standing where johnny
28:47 right about in that same section and who
28:49 could forget when johnny tackled mark
28:51 right here in this section always
28:53 noticing there's a gentleman up here i'm
28:55 not really sure what he's doing he's
28:56 kind of just staring at the hedges
28:59 right over there and that kind of in
29:01 that section
29:02 a little far probably i don't know a few
29:04 feet closer this way
29:06 now about a four or five mile commute
29:08 took an uber
29:09 the last two spots we are at the final
29:12 destination
29:13 which is where the anniversary flower it
29:16 was an anniversary flower in gifts
29:19 used to be as shown here
29:23 it is now a restaurant of some sort this
29:26 is where
29:26 he parked right over there walked in got
29:30 some flowers
29:30 dozen red roses a dozen red roses and
29:32 then also
29:34 said oh hi doggy hi doggy
29:44 the owner didn't even realize how do you
29:44 not know
29:46 i mean sunglasses on and off basically
29:48 that's true you wouldn't even know it
29:49 was me walking in
29:50 but if i had the sunglasses off you
29:52 would know it was me it's a pretty good
29:54 area now the building still looks the
29:56 same
29:58 interesting parking job he kind of
29:59 blocked the alley
30:04 okay do the lines again what what did
30:04 the owner sign
30:06 oh hi tom you i also recognize you oh hi
30:08 doggy you're my favorite customer
30:10 bye and looking out the flower shop
30:13 window
30:14 now a restaurant so looking over there
30:18 out the window you can see as he is
30:20 about to head in notice
30:22 the parking garage and the little
30:25 stairwell over here this is the
30:28 stairwell
30:29 there's the parking area there's the
30:32 little
30:33 fence that's next to it he was in a
30:36 hurry but he got the dozen red roses
30:39 from inside there now it's a restaurant
30:42 hasn't been a flower shop for a while
30:45 interesting thing about this
30:47 is from what i heard it was the last
30:49 thing they filmed
30:50 even though it wasn't the last scene in
30:52 the movie it was the last thing they
30:53 filmed
30:54 have to wonder how many pass by this or
30:57 even maybe even the
30:58 owners that are in here might not even
30:59 realize the history that it has
31:03 we were also trying to find a mural
31:04 somewhere in town
31:06 that had maybe uh uh some a room
31:08 painting somewhere
31:10 couldn't really find anything no we just
31:12 find the big pants
31:13 the big pants tommy's pants over on the
31:17 over near the
31:18 water as well
31:21 yeah the flower shop anniversary flour
31:24 and gifts
31:25 oh they have hot tea after peeking in
31:27 the inside it looks totally different
31:29 than it did
31:30 counter is gone i mean there is a
31:32 counter still in there
31:33 however it's not not the same same kind
31:37 of setup
31:38 nonetheless this is like one of the
31:40 probably one of the most famous and
31:42 notable scenes that everyone
31:43 knows from the film from the room oh hi
31:47 mark
31:48 oh oh that is true i did not hit her
31:51 i did not oh hi mark i'm also noticing
31:55 the stairwell over here now has a fence
31:57 around it
31:58 right there next to the front entrance
32:00 of it
32:06 whoever lives up there lives above a
32:06 piece of cinematic history
32:12 it's no citizen kane but they're pretty
32:12 close oh
32:14 definitely in the same category
32:17 we did it you did it that's going to do
32:18 it for today it was
32:20 quite in a video it took a lot longer
32:22 than i took a lot longer than a few
32:24 hours i think it took us
32:25 just about nine hours a long time not so
32:28 much fun
32:29 covered a lot of ground it was a good
32:32 time
32:33 the room has been accomplished didn't
32:34 hit every single spot but hit
32:36 a majority of all the san francisco
32:39 spots
32:39 if you were walking it or taking public
32:41 transportation it takes a while
32:44 but me having the rental car which i
32:46 kept parking a parking structure
32:48 downtown near the hotel there's some of
32:50 the spots there wouldn't have been any
32:51 parking
32:51 yeah so so really the walking trans
32:54 public transportation city it definitely
32:56 is a walking city
32:58 the city the city then we took uber a
33:01 couple times
33:02 took the buses a couple times and walked
33:04 i should see how many how many steps it
33:06 was but for now
33:07 you're gonna check you're gonna check
33:09 okay i'll just sit here talk amongst
33:11 yourselves
33:12 while she checks how many how many steps
33:15 did we do today
33:17 we did one thing i'd say twenty thousand
33:19 nine hundred
33:20 today we did twenty thousand today
33:24 all right that's gonna do it the vlog
33:31 you know what my legs are saying to me
33:31 right now what
33:33 my legs are saying you're tearing me
33:37 apart san francisco
