0:04 Welcome everyone. Adam Lewoo here as the
0:04 recording of this Saturday, October
0:06 11th,
0:07 2025.
0:09 I'm going to head over to Gatorland
0:12 for the opening day, the kickoff of
0:14 their Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins 2025
0:19 Halloween event. I've gone to this
0:22 multiple years in a row. Always enjoy
0:24 it. They mix it up a little bit. They
0:27 throw a little twist each and every year
0:29 in comparison to the previous year. So
0:32 pretty happy and excited to see what
0:34 they're going to they're going to have
0:36 this year. And today is the first day.
0:39 It's definitely not cool and crisp.
0:42 Definitely still humid, but I'm starting
0:44 to get an inkling of maybe some fall
0:48 weather coming to Florida. Of course,
0:50 it's early, so once the sun comes out,
0:52 I'll probably have a different opinion,
0:54 but right now doesn't feel bad. I'm
0:56 going to head over there. Join me, shall
0:59 you? Again, granted, it's only a little
1:01 bit after 9:00 a.m., so the sun's not
1:03 quite up yet. Well, the sun's up, but
1:06 it's not blazingly hot yet. It's like
1:09 there's going to be some thunderstorms.
1:11 A little Look, I am wearing an
1:13 appropriate t-shirt for the Gators,
1:14 Ghosts, and Goblins event because I am
1:16 wearing a ghost on my shirt. You can see
1:18 the reflection right there. 72 degrees
1:21 now. I was going to get up to 77 by 2
1:23 p.m. and some thunderstorms, lightning.
1:27 No gators and goblins on this shirt, but
1:30 I got the ghost accounted for. Have made
1:33 the commute. Now arriving at Gatorland,
1:35 Florida's best Halloween value.
1:39 I definitely agree with that. Very
1:41 reasonable. Included with regular
1:43 everyday admission. You get to meet the
1:45 characters, get to go through the
1:47 haunted creepy house,
1:50 and attend the event. gators, ghosts,
1:52 and goblins. And parking is absolutely
1:54 free. They do not charge for parking at
1:57 all. Parking's included. Used to be
2:01 1949,
2:02 but it's free today. It's free. It's
2:05 always free. It's just a clever little
2:06 thing to do. Greg is here.
2:07 >> Oh, hey.
2:09 >> You've never been to Gatorland, Greg.
2:10 >> This is my first time to Gatorland. I've
2:13 been in Florida for like 40 something
2:16 years. I've never been to Gatorland. So,
2:18 this is going to be an experience. I
2:19 think you're going to love it, man.
2:20 >> Yeah. Can't wait to uh see the gators.
2:24 >> See the gators, the ghosts, and the
2:27 goblins. Let's do it. Also, cheers.
2:29 >> Oh, yeah.
2:31 >> Let's get the Let's get the coffee on.
2:34 Nice overcast, breezy
2:37 at the moment, and I am all about that.
2:40 I am all about a little overcastness
2:43 and it not being too incredibly
2:46 too incredibly warm. There's the gator
2:48 mouth.
3:03 current price of tickets adult $34 each
3:03 and you get a Florida resident discount.
3:07 >> So you save a couple bucks with the
3:08 Florida resident discount. So
3:11 >> two tickets 34 each. That's the price of
3:13 current price of admission. And upon
3:16 admission, you get the quick glance show
3:19 schedule right here,
3:23 trickor treat trail, bugout, aliens and
3:26 cryptids, creepy bars, gator grot, swamp
3:30 ghost movie museum. That is the haunted
3:32 house walkthrough, which is awesome and
3:34 different each and every year. We'll
3:36 check that out.
3:38 >> Here's the layout of the land as well.
3:42 >> I'm excited that you never been here,
3:43 Greg. I've been here so many times. It's
3:45 kind of neat to see things through your
3:46 eyes.
3:47 >> Yeah.
3:49 >> All right. I should also mention Florida
3:51 resident discount. Two people $35. So,
3:54 it is a dramatic difference if you're a
3:56 Florida resident. I just checked my
3:57 receipt. Two tickets, $35 includes the
4:02 Halloween event. That's a pretty good
4:04 deal. That's That's probably the best
4:07 deal in Central Florida as far as
4:08 attractions go. I like this one down
4:10 here. Just getting a nice little massage
4:12 from the water right down there. The
4:15 water like pouring right on the back
4:18 like it's very nice and comfortable
4:19 there.
4:22 It's like they're all waiting in line.
4:23 It's like, "Come on, buddy. Get
4:25 >> you. We need a shower."
4:37 >> Let's go see some ghost gate. We saw
4:37 some gators. Let's see some ghosts and
4:39 some goblins. Ghost and goblins. Yeah,
4:41 ghostbins and gators. There's a spider
4:44 in here as well. Yeah, last year was
4:46 Gatorland's 75th. Is this going to jump
4:49 out at me?
4:51 Last year was Gatorland's 75th ann Oh
4:54 wow.
4:57 I wasn't expecting that to pop down.
4:58 Wonder if the skunk ape is going to be
5:00 out.
5:08 Oh, that thing is like this bug. Got its
5:08 tongue right there on the torso. A
5:10 skeleton.
5:11 >> I like it the best.
5:12 >> Looking for bugs. You see any?
5:14 >> You're looking for bugs?
5:15 >> Looking for bugs.
5:16 >> Oh, wow.
5:16 >> Yes. You seen any?
5:18 >> There's a There's one right above you
5:19 there. Big big spider.
5:21 >> Oh. Oh, just ignore him.
5:24 >> Well, you came prepared. Plenty plenty
5:26 of uh
5:28 >> repellent
5:30 >> like a dragonfly. Oh, that's good.
5:34 That's real good. That's a good effect
5:36 right there
5:38 over here with the roaches.
5:41 >> Edgar, that was the name of the roach
5:43 from uh Men in Black.
5:45 >> Yes.
5:49 >> Now, if you only remember what the
5:49 spider's name is from Harry Potter.
5:52 >> That scene is is really creepy, though.
6:01 >> That is really cool. I like that effect.
6:01 >> Go
6:04 look at the other one. There's one
6:05 inside. I don't know if you saw it.
6:07 >> Greg says there's something over in
6:08 here. Oh. Oh, nice. Nice.
6:13 Nicely done. Oh, wow. That's good.
6:17 Okay. This is really good.
6:22 This is good.
6:22 >> That took me by surprise.
6:24 >> That's a good setup.
6:25 >> Yeah, it's a It's all wrapped up and
6:26 everything.
6:27 >> Beware of spider. There's multiple, but
6:30 I think the most dangerous is the one
6:31 over here in the barn.
6:38 The one that distracts you. Oh, and then
6:38 that one pops out right there out of
6:40 nowhere.
6:43 Did an old distraction ploy. We got some
6:46 aliens. Beautiful. Love this. Got some
6:50 aliens up top there.
6:59 The jackaloupe. Every time I think of a
6:59 jackaloupe, I think of America's
7:01 Funniest People with Dave Kouier. Fast
7:04 as fast as can be. You'll never catch
7:06 me. It's a bad imitation, but yeah.
7:09 Arlene Sorcin and Dave Kouier. America's
7:12 Funniest People. Used to follow up
7:14 America's Funniest Home Videos with Bob
7:15 Saget.
7:18 It's a deep cut.
7:39 >> Oh, the Moth Man. That's great. That's
7:39 great.
7:41 >> Oh, that's good.
7:42 >> Oh, nice. Nice.
7:45 >> All the cryptids.
7:54 Little creepy ambiance here at
7:54 Gatorland. Guess when you think of
7:56 Gatorland, you definitely think of
7:57 alligators. But this is not the kind of
7:59 stuff you would expect a gator park to
8:01 Oh my gosh.
8:03 >> He He kind of escaped. I'm sorry about
8:04 that, sir.
8:05 >> A Yeti is here. Vacation Yeti.
8:09 >> Well, he's just blending with the
8:10 locals, you know. I have like six same
8:12 shirt in my closet. So,
8:13 >> you have a tin foil hat on.
8:15 >> I do.
8:17 Is that a
8:17 >> I don't know where I'm going with that.
8:19 >> I mean I I would think everyone should
8:20 have one on. I mean aliens that kind of
8:22 crash landed here. They're trying to
8:23 >> The Yeti isn't wearing us.
8:25 >> He doesn't believe in conspiracies.
8:27 >> He doesn't He doesn't have much brains
8:28 to begin with to be hypnotized. I'm sure
8:30 >> that makes sense.
8:32 >> I I'm I said I love you. We're good
8:35 friends. We're good friends.
8:38 >> I love the Aloha shirt on.
8:40 >> He's So this is not the skunk gate. That
8:42 skunk is actually his cousin. This is
8:44 Eddie. He's a yeti.
8:44 >> Oh, okay. Not on good terms.
8:46 >> They don't get along anymore.
8:47 >> They do not. It's kind of like the
8:49 family. You can't
8:52 >> he talks too much.
8:53 >> Can't really
8:55 see. Yeti is all about like
8:57 >> quiet incognito grunts and like groaning
9:00 >> scrunting. No singing. None of that
9:03 stuff. All right.
9:04 >> No, no singing. Maybe only like a a
9:06 little bit of dancing. Like a
9:07 respectable amount, but not like a
9:09 reasonable
9:09 >> respectable dancing.
9:11 >> There you go.
9:12 >> See, just like a low-key little dance.
9:13 >> Yeah. You been to Hawaii with that
9:15 Hawaiian shirt on?
9:17 >> Hawaii.
9:18 >> Too hot.
9:19 >> As as we're standing here in Central
9:21 Florida. [laughter]
9:22 >> Oh, now I'm noticing there is a crashed
9:25 flying saucer up there. Look at that.
9:30 Over here next to Mango and Huckleberry.
9:34 Huckleberry and Mango right there.
9:37 Seen any aliens?
9:53 Hello. Hello. Yeah, maybe they're not
9:54 very talkative.
10:10 Oh,
10:10 shooting shooting at us or something.
10:11 >> Oh, there it is. Look. Pulling into
10:16 the station
10:18 now over here. It's an additional $3
10:20 each to do the train ride, but still
10:22 worth it.
10:33 Man, this train ride must be good. LOOK
10:33 HOW EXCITED they all are.
10:36 Wow.
10:40 That is one heck of a train ride. Look
10:43 at that. They're all shake. They're so
10:44 excited. They're all shaking hands after
10:46 the train ride. Look very, very closely.
10:50 But there is a jackaloupe right there in
10:53 the corner. Right there. The jackal. Oh
10:56 yeah. OH.
10:59 [screaming] OH, IT'S SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU
11:02 >> NOW. WELCOME TO GATORLAND.
11:04 >> Thank you. Take my back.
11:06 >> Listen, I took the liberty of digging a
11:08 nice plot for you right there.
11:09 >> Oh, yeah. It's extra spacious. It's a
11:11 double wide. Even though we're burying
11:13 you by yourself, you're going to love
11:14 it.
11:15 >> What's happening over here?
11:17 >> Help me.
11:18 >> Help me. Help you.
11:20 >> I mean, I'm kind of rooting for the
11:22 extraterrestrial, honestly.
11:26 >> Oh, thank goodness you're here. All
11:27 right, so we got a problem. So, we have
11:30 the skunk ape research facility, except
11:33 now a UFO crash landed into it, and
11:36 there's extraterrestrial invaders
11:38 everywhere. This is aliens versus
11:40 crypted. So, you can see Mman is here
11:43 kind of fending them off, which is good.
11:45 And she's controlling his mind.
11:47 [laughter] That's it. Do you HAVE YOUR
11:48 ALUMINUM FOIL? I FORGOT TO HELP.
11:51 >> [screaming]
11:52 >> OH, YOU DON'T HAVE A BRAIN.
11:56 >> SO, apparently she can't take over your
11:58 mind.
12:00 >> Memory wipes
12:02 here.
12:02 >> Savannah, what do we have forward to
12:04 look to look forward to this year?
12:06 >> So exciting. And I have no idea what TO
12:08 LOOK FORWARD TO. I'M JUST AS SURPRISED
12:10 AS YOU are cuz I tried to stay out of it
12:13 so I would be surprised on the day of.
12:15 So, we'll go through this together and
12:16 have so much fun.
12:17 >> Have you been incarcerated?
12:19 >> Um, yeah. Yeah, the aliens threw me in
12:21 >> Uh-oh.
12:22 >> I'm trapped. Can you help me out, Adam?
12:24 Yes.
12:24 >> Help me out of here.
12:24 >> Hey, a second. How we doing?
12:26 >> Help me out.
12:30 >> Perfect.
12:30 >> Come on out, Greg.
12:31 >> Thank you. Appreciate that.
12:42 >> He doesn't know. Maybe they don't have
12:42 that in
12:43 >> I don't know that they have that there.
12:45 >> What?
12:46 >> Nothing.
12:48 >> Who are you?
12:49 Who am I?
12:50 >> A lot of confusion. I am Adam the Woo.
12:53 >> Do you have a brain?
12:54 >> Uh, yes I do. It's in the jar down
12:57 there. I'll get it and show you.
12:59 >> Get it for you.
13:01 >> There's a skunk.
13:03 >> Hello again, skunk.
13:05 >> Good to see you again.
13:07 >> You got the new shirt on, too.
13:09 >> Wow.
13:15 >> I have a ghost. See, I have a ghost
13:15 right here.
13:21 Y'all better be nice.
13:21 >> Don't do it.
13:26 >> That's right. LITTLE LOLLIPOP shield
13:28 aliens.
13:29 >> Blue lollipop shield aliens.
13:40 >> Get off my shirt. All my work.
13:40 >> She's the one who splatted the spider.
13:42 >> Y
13:42 >> with the fl water.
13:43 >> I am.
13:44 >> Oh, okay. Okay. You were the good one.
13:46 >> You might have. There's two shovels, so
13:47 it might have been a team member.
13:50 >> She has to give away all her candy so
13:51 that she can turn back into a human.
13:53 >> Oh, is that how it
13:54 >> witch has cursed my daughter into a
13:56 creepy bar?
13:57 >> If she doesn't all the candy, she will
13:59 not be able to turn back into my
14:01 daughter.
14:01 >> How many pieces of candy before she
14:03 turns back?
14:04 >> I don't know.
14:06 >> There's no no rule book.
14:07 >> Buckets and buckets.
14:08 >> Buckets of candy.
14:11 >> Good luck.
14:12 >> Yes. Hello.
14:12 >> Good luck. Give that candy away. Get you
14:15 back to normal. your normal self. This
14:17 must be the witch that put the curse. Is
14:19 this the witch that put the curse on
14:20 you?
14:20 >> That's the witch
14:22 >> just hanging out right next to you,
14:23 rubbing it in.
14:24 >> It was her babysitter. Her babysitter
14:26 during her room. I didn't know she was a
14:27 witch.
14:28 >> Oh my gosh.
14:30 >> There were no There were no clues
14:32 whatsoever.
14:37 >> A pirate. You're a pirate.
14:37 >> Yeah, I am.
14:39 >> Are you a haunted pirate or you
14:40 >> all over?
14:42 >> All over.
14:43 >> Over here.
14:44 >> All over there. Okay. Well, good to see
14:46 you. Good
14:46 >> to see you, sir.
14:47 >> You as well. Do you have any other
14:49 swashbuckling friends around or is it
14:51 just you rolling solo? Uh,
14:52 >> but it should be right down that way.
14:54 >> Okay, keep an eye out. Oh, yeah. That
14:57 pirate was not fibbing. There are tons
15:00 of piratesesque type decorations over
15:09 >> Look at this. There's the wheel of the
15:09 ship. Maybe sometimes a pirate will go
15:11 up there.
15:12 >> Oh, I hear another one over here. I hear
15:14 another one. WHAT KIND OF CANDY DO YOU
15:16 LIKE?
15:20 >> OH, look at that.
15:20 >> The dead man.
15:23 >> WHAT? YOU GOT BUTTER FINGERS.
15:26 >> That's why you shouldn't butter people
15:28 up. They get all over.
15:32 >> Happy. How dare you?
15:35 >> HAPPY.
15:37 >> TRYING TO DRIVE YOU AWAY.
15:38 >> WELCOME, lost soul.
15:40 >> What do you All right. Look,
15:43 >> if you're all going to
15:44 >> No, wait. Who said he said I was happy
15:46 AND YOU SAY I WERE ANGRY? WHICH ONE
15:48 WOULD IT BE?
15:49 >> I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING.
15:50 >> At first, I thought you were happy, but
15:52 now I' I've come to realize you're
15:53 angry.
15:54 >> Come to realize. Come to your senses.
15:56 >> You didn't even get to know me. You made
15:58 a a determination off of your first
16:01 impression of my glorious appearance.
16:03 Sure.
16:04 >> What's your name? LET ME GET
16:05 >> MY NAME CAPTAIN BLACK BART SASSIFRAS.
16:09 OH, THAT'S A GREAT
16:09 >> IF YOU DON'T THINK that's scary, try to
16:11 spell it.
16:12 >> S A S
16:15 S A F A R A S.
16:18 >> You might be right.
16:19 >> I think you [laughter] forgot an S.
16:21 >> Did I miss an S?
16:22 >> Wait, I think there's a silent ph.
16:24 >> You got too many S's in your name.
16:26 >> B A R T.
16:28 >> Yeah, probably.
16:28 >> Pirate.
16:30 >> Do you ever encounter alligators or
16:32 crocodiles when you're out on the high
16:33 seas?
16:34 >> On the high seas? No. The low seas? Yes.
16:37 Low time,
16:38 >> but you've never had an encounter with
16:40 an alligator or crocodile.
16:43 >> Not what I want to talk about.
16:49 >> I used to HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL POCKET
16:49 watching
16:50 >> and then I showed it to an alligator and
16:53 he said, "Show it to my friend, a
16:54 crocodile, and I showed it to the
16:55 crocodile." And then the crocodile said,
16:57 "That's real nice, but I don't like it.
16:58 Show it back to my friend, the
16:59 alligator." And the alligator tried to
17:00 bite me and I DROPPED IT. THE CROCODILE
17:02 ATE IT.
17:04 That crocodile likes to eat clocks,
17:06 apparently.
17:07 Nice. [laughter]
17:08 >> May I have a piece of candy? Bart,
17:09 right?
17:10 >> What? You Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or sassy.
17:12 You can call me sassy. Sassy Bart.
17:14 Captain Sassy. I don't care. What kind
17:16 of candy you want?
17:17 >> I didn't know you were going to stir it
17:18 around like a some kind of a Look at
17:20 that.
17:20 >> Yeah. And I didn't wash my hands either.
17:23 >> There you go. But don't worry, it's all
17:24 wrapped.
17:25 >> Sound like a lollipop. Lollipop summer
17:27 wrapping.
17:28 >> Oh, a big hair. Take out the strawberry
17:31 and there you go. You got your citrus
17:34 away the scurvy. [laughter]
17:37 Thank you, Bart.
17:37 >> Bye-bye.
17:38 >> Sassy Bart.
17:39 >> SASSY BART. FRASSY CAPTAIN. WHATEVER. I
17:42 don't care.
17:43 >> Okay.
17:43 >> Nobody calls me by my name anymore.
17:45 >> Do any pirates care?
17:46 >> No. No. Not. Well, some of some of the
17:48 >> Yeah, I met one earlier down there. Your
17:50 buddy, he cared.
17:51 >> My buddy ain't got no buddies, right?
17:53 >> No buddies.
17:54 >> Not around here.
17:55 >> All right.
17:55 >> No. No. But but you could be my buddies.
17:58 >> Thank you, Bart.
17:59 >> Everybody out there.
17:59 >> Be part of your crew.
18:00 >> Yeah. You want to be part of the crew?
18:02 >> All right. You can be part of the crew.
18:03 >> Okay. Awesome. You'll now be sailing
18:05 aboard the Tortuga Typhoon.
18:06 >> Ah, all right.
18:08 >> Do I have to swab the deck or anything?
18:10 >> Well, I'm not going to do it.
18:12 >> Wait, is there a plank? You have a plank
18:14 he can walk
18:14 >> right now?
18:15 >> Why do you usually at some point in the
18:18 pirates career you walk the plank?
18:19 Usually, it's towards the end. If you
18:21 want to jump right to the retirement
18:23 stage. I mean, it's up to you, but uh
18:26 I'll consider you both shipmates from
18:28 now on. You come back and I'll have you
18:30 swab the poop deck or or poop the swab
18:32 or whatever. All right. Okay. That's
18:33 where I drop off. See you.
18:35 >> All right. Sassy Bart.
18:36 >> See you later.
18:36 >> You lived up to your name, Sassy Bart.
18:38 >> Bye.
18:42 >> What do you think she is?
18:44 >> That's a Merwoman.
18:45 >> Is Is that what it is?
18:46 >> A Merwoman? Yeah.
18:47 >> I feel like she needs more clothes.
18:50 >> They're coconuts.
18:51 >> She's got kind of suspicious.
18:53 >> She's good. She's good.
18:55 >> I think it's the leg position and the
18:56 hand position. [laughter]
19:00 I
19:00 >> think you might be right. That's Sassy
19:02 Bart's girlfriend.
19:04 >> Sassy Bart is great.
19:17 >> Yeah, it looks like
19:17 somebody like this.
19:20 >> Here's a historical marker on this exact
19:22 spot. On the afternoon of April 27th,
19:24 1968, a marital argument was won by the
19:27 husband. Uh, the curse has not been
19:29 changed back yet. No, I still have a
19:31 whole bucket of candy.
19:33 >> So, the bucket's got to be emptied and
19:35 you'll turn back to your human self.
19:38 >> Okay. All right. We're getting in line
19:40 for the walkthrough of the haunted house
19:43 again every year. Completely different
19:46 than the year before. Always different.
19:51 Are there many amazing things about this
19:52 event? Now, before going through the
19:54 haunted house attraction, just want to
19:56 give a little strobe light warning.
19:57 There's going to be some flashing images
19:59 and scary creatures of the night. So,
20:02 just a heads up if you're sensitive to
20:04 strobe lights. Giving a little strobe
20:06 light warning, which is pretty much part
20:08 for the course for any kind of Halloween
20:09 themed event, but I just want to give
20:10 you a heads up just in case. There's
20:12 going to be a lot of strobe lights.
20:13 >> GOT A BUNCH OF DATERS OVER BY THE SIDE.
20:15 THEY'RE HOPING FOR THAT CHICKEN'S GOT
20:17 ONE PIECE DOWN. He's hanging low. Come
20:20 on, make some noise.
20:27 There's the ticket booth right there.
20:27 And it says demolition and progress
20:31 right here at the
20:34 monster movie theater here. I walk with
20:38 the zombie. More candy.
20:44 Wait a second. Savannah's on the movie
20:44 poster right there. Curse of the swamp
20:47 ghost. What if she knows she's on there?
20:52 Look at that. Who will survive?
20:54 Curse of the swamp ghost.
20:57 >> And then over here,
21:00 >> did you know you're you're on the
21:02 poster?
21:02 >> That's me. That's me.
21:03 >> I know.
21:06 >> Your name in light, Savannah.
21:08 >> I know. And and and the grave digger
21:10 said the coolest thing. The great digger
21:12 said that he was my number one fan back
21:15 when it was silent movies, but when it
21:17 became
21:19 >> he's not a fan anymore.
21:21 >> You're not his favorite. like to hear me
21:23 call snack bar area now.
21:25 >> All right, welcome everybody. Thank you
21:27 for coming so quickly. So
21:30 >> and I'm part of the passers and uh you
21:33 know we like to throw parties in old
21:34 abandoned buildings and this time we
21:36 decided the best place was the Godwin
21:39 theater.
21:46 >> Nothing. Nothing in here at all. Well,
21:46 that's good. Oh man. Wait, KEN MUST BE
21:48 OKAY. KEN, KEN, you're doing that.
21:50 That's the wrong light. That's the
21:52 emergency light. Okay. Does anybody see
21:56 a switch? Maybe we can turn off A
21:59 SWITCH.
22:00 >> WA! WHAT IS THAT?
22:01 >> IT'S AN EMERGENCY.
22:03 >> NO, NO, NO.
22:10 >> What are you people doing here?
22:10 >> Oh, I know why you're here.
22:18 >> There's hair on those candy. That's
22:18 disgusting.
22:21 Get in here, people. Okay. Now, the
22:23 first movie I want to talk to you about
22:25 is 1896's
22:28 The House of the Devil, a French
22:30 impressionistic film that was the first
22:33 horror movie ever made and maybe the
22:35 first vampire film, too. In it, Bentoles
22:39 uh turns to a bat. He has several bribes
22:41 that terrorizes the heroes, and they use
22:44 a cross to ward him off. This movie is
22:47 online. It's only 3 minutes long. You
22:49 can watch it if you survive the tour.
22:52 Oh, by the way, I found the employee
22:53 right there. Why we couldn't order
22:55 popcorn this way?
23:02 >> Hurry up.
23:02 >> That's a really neat idea.
23:11 >> There you go. Now, the next thing I want
23:11 to talk about is Frankenstein, written
23:13 by Mary Shel in 1818. She was only 17
23:16 years old when she wrote that story,
23:18 effectively creating the genre of
23:20 science fiction. Now, you all know the
23:22 famous Frankenstein movie Universal
23:24 made. But 20 years before that, Thomas
23:27 Edison, the guy who invented the light
23:30 bulb, created the first Frankenstein
23:33 film. Now, that film was lost for over
23:36 70 years. It's recently resurfaced, and
23:39 you can watch it. Speaking of firsts,
23:41 this way.
23:43 Come on. Now we're going to talk about
23:45 the first Dracula movie ever made. Nos
23:48 Feratu, a German impressionistic film.
23:51 The studio decided not to get the rights
23:54 from Brahm Stoker's wife. Bra Stoker
23:56 wrote the original novel. She sued the
23:58 studio into oblivion and it's the first
24:01 and only movie they ever got to make.
24:03 But it's also the movie gave us the idea
24:04 that sunlight kills vampires. She was
24:08 really angry. That's Rob Stoker rolling
24:11 in his grave this way.
24:13 The next movie we're going to talk
24:15 about, Lon Cheneyy's London After
24:18 Midnight, Sweet Joe Rubin. He was the
24:20 man of a thousand faces, Phantom of the
24:23 Opera, Hunchback of Notream, and he
24:25 created this character. Uh, in 1957,
24:28 there was a buyer in the MGM backlog,
24:30 and every copy of London After Midnight
24:33 was destroyed. So, nobody alive has ever
24:36 seen this film. No one's ever seen him
24:39 moving. Perhaps we'll see him today. The
24:43 last film I'll tell you about, George
24:45 Romero's immortal classic, Night of the
24:47 Living Dead. Thanks to this film,
24:50 zombies are the biggest genre in horror.
24:53 But it should be a genre. He should have
24:55 had exclusive rights to make zombie
24:56 movies. The problem, the studio forgot
24:59 to put the copyright information on the
25:01 film the moment it played for an
25:03 audience that went into the public
25:04 domain. Now, anyone can make a zombie
25:07 movie. And the problem is a lot of them
25:09 are real garbage this way,
25:17 but this is the movie I'm brought here
25:17 to show you for the longer. I cannot
25:20 wait. The curse of the swamp ghost. This
25:24 is the original silent movie, the black
25:26 and white movie. This isn't the8s remake
25:28 they did with the 3D in color. No, this
25:31 is a good one. And it's an actual cursed
25:33 film. They say an entire theater full of
25:36 people disappeared while watching it.
25:39 Let's watch it now. Come on.
25:42 Trip apart. Kill him. Why stop it?
25:47 Come on.
25:49 What are you talking? What are you doing
25:51 that bigger? You sh me. That's not cool.
25:55 What? What?
25:58 This is quiet.
26:01 Heat. Heat. [music]
26:45 >> Oh, that was cool. That was good. Like
26:45 walking through the movies that he was
26:47 just talking about. [music]
27:02 >> That's a great effect. Oh, there's
27:02 Sriracha there, which is awesome.
27:16 >> We got Night of Living Dead. Original
27:16 zombie right here in the cemetery scene.
27:19 >> That's great.
27:21 They're coming through the wall.
27:23 >> Very nice. Very nice.
27:25 >> Got George here.
27:32 >> Oh, very nice. Very nice.
27:32 Very nice.
28:44 right. You may or may not know this,
28:44 Greg, but these alligators were used in
28:47 a movie that you love.
28:50 >> Really?
28:50 >> Yes. trying.
28:52 >> They filmed a scene at Gatorland many
28:55 years ago with these alligators and
28:59 crocodiles that were used in one of your
29:02 all-time favorite movies.
29:05 >> Star Wars.
29:07 >> I don't know. Think of
29:08 >> what movie help.
29:09 >> Someone an actor from Star Wars was in
29:12 this film.
29:14 >> Oh,
29:16 >> also
29:17 Well, it's not a trilogy anymore, but
29:19 originally a trilogy.
29:20 >> Okay. Harrison Ford.
29:21 >> Correct.
29:27 >> He was here and he filmed the movie.
29:27 >> No, no, no.
29:28 >> No, Harrison was not here.
29:30 >> but the movie he was
29:31 >> Oh. Oh, I got it. I got it. I got it. I
29:33 got it. I know it. I know it. Indiana
29:35 Jones in the Temple of Doom.
29:37 >> At the end of the movie when Mola Ram
29:38 falls down, you see the gators jumping
29:40 up and eating him. Yes.
29:41 >> Gatorland gators. They came to CM and
29:44 filmed some of the crocodiles and
29:47 gators. And I've always wanted to know
29:49 because gators live a very long time.
29:51 They're like dinosaurs. Are some of
29:53 those gators still here?
30:15 >> Hey again.
30:15 >> How's it going, man?
30:16 >> Good. It's going good.
30:17 >> Oh man, I love this place.
30:20 >> Did you go to the haunted house yet?
30:21 >> Not yet.
30:22 >> Want to be in on the video?
30:24 >> Sure.
30:25 >> This year, I like how each year the
30:27 haunted house is different than the
30:28 other previous year.
30:29 >> Absolutely. Because you can come back
30:30 each and every year and it's always
30:32 going to be something different. Just
30:33 like my costumes are always going to be
30:34 different. Oh, have mercy. It's due
30:37 love, baby.
31:46 Wait a second. Wait a second. They let
31:46 Sassy Bard out of his area.
31:48 >> Sassy B? Yeah. I I escaped. I took off
31:51 my shackles and wander around free.
31:53 >> I didn't realize you had shackles on.
31:57 >> I didn't either. I didn't. They actually
31:59 weren't there.
32:00 >> So, where are you heading to now that
32:01 you're they're your free pirate?
32:03 >> I'm going to wander. I hear there's lots
32:05 of things to see here.
32:06 >> There's lots.
32:07 >> Except I also heard there's uh goblins
32:09 and ghosts.
32:11 >> You didn't see any of those, did you?
32:12 >> I saw a few.
32:13 >> I saw a few. Where were they?
32:15 >> Few gators also in the
32:16 >> gators.
32:17 >> I don't like gators.
32:19 >> Where Where were the gators first?
32:20 >> They're right behind you.
32:21 >> Hey,
32:22 >> they're right over there.
32:24 >> They're right there. See, there's one
32:25 right there.
32:26 >> That's his backside. I'm not as scared
32:27 of his backside unless he just ate. But
32:30 I tell you what, if you know where
32:32 there's ghosts or goblins, point them
32:35 out because them I'm really scared of.
32:37 >> Right over that way, there's a there's a
32:39 there's a monster museum.
32:40 >> Monster museum. A haunted theater in an
32:43 abandoned building.
32:45 >> So, are they stuffed? Are they like like
32:47 the monsters like
32:48 >> No, they're real.
32:49 >> Real?
32:51 >> That sounds creepy.
32:53 >> Well, you're heading the right
32:54 direction.
32:54 >> I want Oh, right in the right direction
32:56 to be creeped out.
32:58 >> See you, sassy Bart.
33:00 >> Oh, I'm going to lose my sassy.
33:06 >> Sassifrass Bart, right?
33:08 >> Bart. SASSY.
33:10 >> YES. BLACK BART SASSIFRA.
33:14 >> It's captain.
33:15 >> Captain Blackbart Sassifrass.
33:17 >> Get it right.
33:20 >> Hurt my
33:21 >> I'm sorry, Bart.
33:23 >> I forget it.
33:31 >> And now going to head out. Got the see
33:31 you later alligator
33:34 after a while crocodile. Well, it
33:36 doesn't say that. It just says see you
33:37 later alligator. But exit to the gift
33:39 shop. see what kind of cool merch they
33:41 have. Now, this right here, I believe,
33:42 is a new shirt as well. Haven't seen
33:44 that in years past. This is their
33:45 Halloween shirt right there. I really
33:47 like that. And that's going to do it for
33:49 today from Gatorland.
33:52 Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins. When I
33:54 first arrived, I met a couple out front
33:56 in front of the gator mouth, and they
33:58 said that they arrived in their
34:00 automobile, which is in fact a hearse.
34:14 They said uh to make sure to go take a
34:14 look at the hearse.
34:16 And she always dresses Tiffany from the
34:18 Chucky series.
34:23 That's going to do it for today.
34:23 Gatorland
34:30 started in 1949
34:30 and they've been doing for seven years
34:31 their Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins event.
34:33 And it's always different and always
34:35 fun. and always very inexpensive. Highly
34:38 recommend it if you're in the Central
34:39 Florida area and you're looking for a
34:42 decently priced Halloween event to go to
34:45 and a great always always a great and
34:47 always completely different haunted
34:50 house walkthrough attraction. Cannot re
34:53 cannot say that enough is one of the the
34:55 major perks about this is getting to see
34:57 something different every time where a
34:58 lot of attractions you go to they have
35:00 the same thing every year.
35:07 That's going to do it for today. Thanks
35:07 for watching. I'll see you in the next
35:08 video, the vlog.
35:10 >> Greg, what did you think of your first
35:11 time at Gatorland?
35:12 >> That was great. Yeah. I mean,
35:14 >> you liked it.
35:14 >> I mean, not only was it Gatorland, but
35:17 it was Halloween haunt at Gatorland. So,
35:19 it's got like a, you know, like a double
35:21 feature there. Double double uh
35:24 >> thing there. Anyway, but uh the haunted
35:27 house thing that we did, I got to say
35:28 that that may be one of the best ones
35:30 that I've ever been to.
35:31 >> I'm glad you liked it,
35:32 >> you know. Um just because
35:33 >> informative
35:34 >> it very informative, you know, and it it
35:36 it has a story to it. I mean, a lot of
35:38 them you go to and it's just kind of
35:39 like,
35:40 >> yeah, here it is. This one actually was,
35:43 you know, had a progression to it. I
35:45 really liked it. So,
35:46 >> you learned something.
35:46 >> Definitely a double thumbs up. Double
35:48 thumbs up.
35:48 >> Glad you had a good time.
35:49 >> Yeah. Check out Greg's video on his
35:52 channel. He has two channels.
35:55 Greg's Game Room. Which What's this
35:58 video going to go on?
35:58 >> This will be on on Adventures by George.
36:00 This will be under Adventures by George
36:02 this video. So look for his video in the
36:05 near future. And thanks for watching.
36:06 I'll see you in the next video. The vlog
36:09 is over.
