Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here
0:05
coming to you from northern Louisiana
0:07
basically in the middle of nowhere. And
0:10
I want to show you something very
0:12
fantastic. Look at this. Look.
0:24
It's the final drive of Bonnie and
0:24
Clyde. It's my second channel. Daily
0:27
blog channel. It's the daily woo. Are
0:31
you a fan of the Bonnie and Clyde story
0:33
like I am? Have you seen the movies, the
0:35
feature films, the documentaries? Well,
0:38
it all ended right here for Bonnie and
0:40
Clyde. Coming straight from this town,
0:43
Gibsland down towards us. There's
0:46
actually a vehicle coming behind us.
0:48
Look at this. There's a car coming the
0:49
opposite way. But Bonnie and Clyde were
0:52
actually coming this way.
0:59
This is actually a road less traveled.
1:00
Not really a lot of people take this
1:01
road. There are a few cars like the car
1:02
that just went by. Over here is a
1:04
memorial, which I'll get to later, of
1:08
the historic event that took place right
1:10
here. My question to you is I Let me Let
1:13
me preface this video by saying I am not
1:16
a historian in any way, shape, or form.
1:19
I'm just going off information that I've
1:22
sunk into my noggin over the years,
1:24
stuff I've read online, movies I've
1:26
seen, documentaries, TV shows. Not all
1:29
those are factual, but there is a little
1:31
bit of facts in those non-factual
1:34
products. So, basically, don't take my
1:36
word for it. Do your own research and
1:38
just take this vlog as a little bit of
1:40
entertainment. And I'm going to pose a
1:43
question to you now. Is this the hill
1:46
right here?
1:49
Is this the hill that the six police
1:52
officers stood up on into the trees for
1:56
two straight days waiting to ambush
2:00
Bonnie and Clyde Clyde Barrow and Bonnie
2:04
Parker? The duet traveling around the
2:08
countryside killed nine police officers
2:10
and a few civilians. Over a dozen people
2:14
killed. We're driving down this road
2:18
from Gibbs, which I'm going to go visit
2:20
momentarily once I upload this vlog. I'm
2:22
going to drive about 10 miles back
2:24
towards Gibsland, Louisiana, and I'm
2:28
going to visit the deli, the diner that
2:30
they ate at their last meal. It's
2:32
actually been converted into a little
2:34
museum. I'm going to visit the gas
2:35
station that the police officers after
2:37
they murdered Bonnie and Clyde in the
2:39
ambush. They went up to use the
2:41
telephone to report the news. This is
2:44
1930 something. Nobody had cell phones
2:47
and smartphones. Like there definitely
2:48
was no vlogs at that time and no
2:51
instantaneous
2:52
communication. So, I'm going to go visit
2:54
all that. If you want to see a lot of
2:56
those photos that aren't here on the
2:59
death spot, the ambush spot, go over to
3:01
my Instagram, Adam theWoo. be posting a
3:03
lot of stuff on Instagram, Facebook, and
3:06
Twitter. So, make sure you do that. The
3:07
question is, I can't find any
3:09
information online, so maybe you can
3:11
help me. Was this the spot that the
3:14
officers were, or was it on this side of
3:16
the road? What side? This side or this
3:20
side? We do know that they were driving
3:23
straight towards us right here down this
3:25
desolate road.
3:32
They had just stopped off at the diner.
3:32
In fact, when they pulled Bonnie's body
3:35
out of the vehicle, her body was riddled
3:38
with 50 bullets, as well as Clyde's 50
3:41
bullets each. They found over 10 and
3:44
something bullets in the side of the
3:46
car. Some of the bullets went into the
3:48
car, through Clyde, through Bonnie, and
3:50
then out the other side. Very powerful
3:53
weapons that they were using to kill
3:55
Bonnie and Clyde. And it all happened
3:57
right here. A little bit of history in
4:00
northern Louisiana. They've actually
4:02
erected a new memorial to the police
4:05
officers here. Here's the new memorial.
4:08
Look at this.
4:11
On this site, May 23rd, 1934, at 9:15
4:18
a.m. 1934, here's the six police
4:21
officers.
4:23
We're in Beanville Parish.
4:28
I guess parishes are here instead of
4:29
counties in Louisiana. Is that how it
4:31
works? Instead of counties, you have
4:33
parishes. Beanville or Bineville. Here's
4:36
the six officers here. And here's one of
4:39
the older erected monuments here. This
4:43
site, May 23rd, 1934. You can see how
4:47
it's been chipped. Clyde Barro and
4:49
Bonnie Parker were killed by law
4:52
enforcement officers. And look at this.
4:55
People have actually shot bullet holes
4:58
into this. I don't know what kind of
5:00
bullets that would have been. Probably
5:02
nothing too powerful, but it's actually
5:04
been shot at as well. A little homage to
5:07
what happened here in 1934.
5:32
So, as the story goes, basically there
5:34
was a family friend, a friend of Bonnie
5:37
and Clyde whose father, they used his
5:39
truck, the police officers used his
5:41
truck. They took the tire off. They
5:43
stuck it on the side of the road
5:45
somewhere in this area. That way they
5:48
knew when Bonnie and Clyde would come by
5:50
that Clyde would think, "Hey, that's my
5:52
buddy's father's car." He would slow
5:54
down to take a look to see if the
5:56
vehicle and his father's friend or his
5:59
friend's father was okay. See, I might
6:02
be mixing a lot of this up, but
6:03
basically he pulled over right here,
6:05
slowed down, and then either from over
6:08
here or over here, a veritable blast,
6:12
hundreds of bullets
6:14
into the side of the car. The caramed
6:17
about 50 more yards down the hill just a
6:20
little bit, went down that little hill.
6:23
I'm not sure if it ventured off to the
6:24
left or to the right, but it ventured
6:27
down that hill where it eventually
6:28
stopped. Bonnie laying against Clyde,
6:32
very romantic, a romantic ending. Of
6:34
course, a lot of TV shows and movies
6:36
have taken that romantic element, and
6:38
blown it up into the stratosphere.
6:41
Definitely a cool story, and definitely
6:44
a cool spot. Thanks for watching.
6:46
Hopefully, I got some of these facts
6:48
right. If I didn't, be sure to correct
6:50
me by leaving some comments down below.
6:52
Also, down below, you can find my
6:53

7:09
It's very hot out here as well. Very
7:12
warm
7:13
and very quiet. I kind of wish that one
7:16
car would not have driven by cuz we
7:18
would have had no cars and a totally
7:20
quiet vlog.
7:23
But at least the ending is kind of
7:24
quiet. Hopefully there's no officers of
7:27
the law out here. Could you imagine just
7:31
driving down the road, pulling over to
7:33
see if someone's okay in a vehicle, and
7:35
then from the shadows
7:38
or over there? Which side was it?
7:41
Right here. Right here is where it all
7:43
happened. Thanks for watching. Have a
7:45
great day. Bye.
