1:22 neighborhood in the

1:23 world at the current moment like I was

1:26 saying I'm going to be hitting a lot of

1:28 spots today up in Los Angeles

2:17 will talk about the subject matter but I

2:19 will leave it at that and that being

2:21 said let's drive down to the road where

2:25 the body of Elizabeth Short was found

2:28 the black doia in 1947 this residential

2:32 area was not developed yet the only

2:34 thing that existed back then was this

2:37 road I am on the sidewalk over there and

2:40 one lonely fire hydrant and that is how

2:43 we are going to figure out the exact

2:45 location of where the body was found the

2:48 coroner report said that 54 ft north of

2:52 that fire hydrant is where the body was

2:55 laid to the left of the sidewalk that's

2:57 the sidewalk right over there

3:00 these houses weren't here but the

3:02 driveways were here you can see those in

3:04 those old

3:10 photos let's do this there's the fire

3:10 hydrant and if you look at those old

3:13 photos you can match up this exact spot

3:17 so basically in those photos you could

3:19 see this driveway and you can see that

3:23 driveway there were no homes here at

3:25 that time but you could see the police

3:28 gathering around the body right there at

3:30 the corner of that sidewalk and driveway

3:33 and you could use this fire hydrant

3:35 count 54 ft off to the left and right

3:40 there was where the body was

3:41 found that's the spot right there I

3:44 wonder if the people who live in this

3:46 neighborhood know of the story of the

3:49 Black Dalia 54

3:52 ft right here was where her body was

3:56 found and there's another photo I'm not

3:57 going to show the photo cuz it's kind of

3:59 disturbing

4:04 across and if you look up that photo if

4:07 you want to look it up online you can

4:13 pole in that driveway in that famous

4:15 shot and her body would be laying right

4:31 mind the fact that it was never solved

4:33 they never figure out who did

4:35 it and the fact that it happened right

5:50 Interiors of the school this has to do

5:53 specifically with the Black Dalia

5:56 Elizabeth Short her last photos

6:00 ever taken before her death were in

6:02 front of this school and one of them was

6:05 taken right there on those steps one

6:08 thing that's always fascinating to me is

6:10 the fact that structures normally stay

6:13 the same even though decades have past

6:16 take a look at this emblem on the bottom

6:19 stair right here next to this ledge she

6:22 was seen here in

6:24 1946 sitting in that exact spot with her

6:28 feet propped up on that third step that

6:32 is the location of one of the last times

6:35 she was photographed before she passed

6:37 away there's also a handful of other

6:39 photographs online of her hanging out in

6:42 front of a classic car right in here and

6:44 you can see the backdrop of this

6:46 beautiful school which really makes me

6:48 wonder why do you think they built this

6:50 extension which really does not fit in

12:15 getting a guide map to the park also the

12:17 one here in real Hollywood does not have

12:19 the Mickey Mouse on top that acts as a

12:20 lightning rod in Florida I didn't know
