0:02 Today's adventure begins as a recording
0:02 of this Wednesday, August 20th, 2025.
0:07 Late last night, well, late at yesterday
0:09 afternoon, checked into the Knots Hotel
0:11 right next to Knottberry Farm and then
0:13 attended an after hours event called
0:17 Nightmares Revealed, which I did
0:20 yesterday. But today, checking out of
0:21 here, you're going to be heading over
0:23 into Anaheim, staying on Harbor
0:24 Boulevard, checking in at another hotel.
0:27 We're spending the evening over at the
0:31 Tropicana Inn and Suites, which is a
0:33 place I always like to stay. But first,
0:35 I'm going to kind of wander around the
0:37 outskirts of Knottberry Farm. Grab
0:39 myself a Starbucks coffee, piping hot
0:41 caffeinated beverage, and then at some
0:43 point, probably in the next hour or so,
0:45 check out of here and head from Bua
0:47 Park, California in SoCal down to
0:49 Anaheim. Still a couple more days in
0:51 SoCal before heading home. But I'm on
0:53 the home stretch. I'm on the home
0:55 stretch. Welcome everyone. Adam the
0:58 Woohoo here. I'm wearing an appropriate
1:00 t-shirt that I purchased at the Scary
1:03 Farm
1:05 announcement
1:07 shindig that happened last night. The
1:09 zoo, which is going to be one of the new
1:10 mazes. A month off till scary farm
1:12 opens, but it's nice to have that little
1:13 teaser, that little taste.
1:16 Got to go grab a little caffeine, walk
1:19 around a little bit. might cross over to
1:21 another Knots property, non-the park
1:24 property that anyone can access and
1:26 access and walk around over in and just
1:29 have myself have ourselves a day. My
1:31 buddy Kevin still up in the hotel room.
1:33 He's with me as well. He's going to be,
1:35 you know, going from here down to
1:37 Anaheim as well. We have some stuff
1:40 planned in the OC today and tomorrow and
1:44 then shortly after that probably start
1:46 making our our cross country commute
1:50 back to central Florida
1:53 for the rest of the month. Join me.
1:55 Let's have ourselves a day. Oh
2:07 dropping in.
2:07 join me, shall you? And for those that
2:10 have been asking and wondering, Kevin
2:12 has a channel called Kevin Heimbach. He
2:15 does a lot of HHN Universal stuff.
2:24 Quick little search, you'll be able to
2:24 find his channel. So for those for those
2:26 inquiring, Kevin Heimbach,
2:36 I love that you can just walk right
2:36 underneath Ghost Rider
2:47 under the bowels, the nether regions of
2:47 a classic Southern California wooden
2:50 coaster. I'm not going to go in the
2:51 park, but I am going to walk over
2:53 through the gift shop, Virginia's Gift
2:54 Shop. And then tucked away over here at
2:56 the exit
2:58 is a coffee shop. A coffee achieved. I
3:00 kind of wish they did. I've said this
3:01 before. I'm going to reiterate. I'm
3:02 going to say something I've said almost
3:04 every time I'm here. I wish [snorts]
3:05 they would come out with one of the
3:06 Starbucks mugs, the you are here or the
3:08 you were there type of series for
3:11 Knottberry Farm. Now, I it's kind of
3:13 wild because I was saying that at Warner
3:15 Brothers for many, many years. said
3:16 about a year ago, as luck would have it,
3:19 Warner Brothers came out with a mug like
3:22 that, but for some reason, Knots does
3:24 not have one. You know, the Disney parks
3:25 have them, Universal has them, Warner
3:28 Brothers, Warner Brothers have them, but
3:30 there is not a Starbucks mug yet. An
3:33 actual collectible, you are here, you
3:35 were there, whatever they call them.
3:36 Now, the the you were series is not not
3:39 to notch yet, but if they if they have
3:41 one, I'll buy one for now.
3:44 Piping caffeinated beverage. So, I've
3:45 said that a couple times already. Any
3:47 cafe.
3:47 >> Ah, yes. Some boenberry goodness. And I
3:51 did something for the first time a
3:52 little bit earlier. And I used boenberry
3:56 body wash and I used boenberry shampoo
3:59 and conditioner. I'll show it when I get
4:01 back to the the hotel, but that's what
4:03 they have in the shower. Everything is
4:06 boenberry here. Everything is boenberry
4:08 and scary farm. That's like the two uh
4:11 the two things.
4:13 and Ghost Town Alive.
4:16 There's more than that, but that's
4:16 they're known for their boys and berry
4:19 >> right here.
4:20 >> And Snoopy and Charlie Brownill
4:23 >> Dirt Happens.
4:31 This is a cute shirt.
4:31 Listen.
4:37 Ah, people screaming
4:37 over on Ghost Rider. So, I walked across
4:40 the road. Well, underneath the road,
4:41 actually, there's a tunnel that leads
4:43 over to this property. Also,
4:52 first meet up I ever did.
4:52 I think it was 2013, maybe, maybe 14.
4:55 2013, a recreation of Independence Hall.
5:05 I think maybe 20 people showed up. Kind
5:05 of announced it a couple days before and
5:07 did a little meet up right here. I was
5:08 just like blown away.
5:10 that people who watch my videos showed
5:12 up to say hi.
5:15 I started the intro to my video
5:18 right up there on that balcony. It was
5:21 unedited. Walked down, said hi to
5:23 everyone.
5:47 There's a Liberty Bell
5:47 recreation Liberty Bell right there.
5:58 This is so cool. Look at this. A lot of
5:58 people don't realize this is over here.
6:06 You can just walk right in. Take a look
6:06 right there.
6:08 Just like in Philadelphia.
6:13 Not sure if this one has the crack in
6:13 it, though.
6:28 Some antiques. Here's a 17th century
6:28 Italian harps accord
6:53 Yeah, just open. You walk in. No
6:54 admission. Oh, is that a McGuffy reader?
7:13 There we go. We got some wax figures
7:13 over here. Betsy Ross
7:17 and George Washington.
7:20 Betsy of course responsible for making
7:23 the flag
7:26 there.
7:31 >> Signing of the Declaration of
7:31 Independence.
7:33 Just really great history here
7:36 >> on Knots property, not part of the theme
7:38 park.
7:50 >> I just had a really good conversation
7:50 with a couple of team members from Knots
7:52 in there. They were saying this is open
7:54 every day from I think 10:00 to 5, 10 to
7:57 4. They're open every day including
7:59 weekends. They also said when the rare
8:02 occasion that there is a storm or a
8:05 downpour and a rainy day, they will not
8:08 be open. They're not open in the rain.
8:10 They said sometimes, I didn't realize
8:11 this. Sometimes knots on a stormy day
8:14 will close or not open. A lot different
8:17 than Florida. Disneyland, I think, will
8:20 stay Yeah, Disneyland will stay open in
8:22 the rain, but a lot of the outdoor
8:23 attractions will close. But I guess it
8:25 nots, you know, very rarely does it
8:28 downpour in Buena Park or Anaheim. But
8:30 when it does, kind of changes changes
8:32 things around a little bit, unlike
8:34 Florida, which it rains every day,
8:36 especially in the summer.
8:38 Fun facts. This is what I was referring
8:40 to as the underground tunnel that goes
8:42 under the street. Believe that's Beach
8:44 Boulevard there.
8:46 And you walk underneath,
8:50 which is really convenient cuz it does
8:51 not you don't have to worry about
8:52 traffic stopping and all that. And you
8:54 just walk from one of the parking lots
8:57 from Independence Hall over to the parks
9:00 and back to the hotel.
9:16 The short commute back to the hotel
9:16 here, the Knots Hotel.
9:19 This is kind of like a little hidden
9:21 gem, a diamond in the rough, if you
9:22 will. Really not a bad price. I think it
9:25 was like 150 a night, give or take a
9:28 little bit, but not too expensive. Maybe
9:29 one between 150 and 160.
9:33 And it's so close to the park. And then
9:34 rooms are really nice since they
9:36 refurbed it. I mean, really, you could
9:39 stay here if I hadn't already booked the
9:41 one on Harbor. I could have just Ubered
9:43 down to the Disney parks and stuff over
9:46 the next day or two. But
9:48 checking out of here
9:51 going
9:56 I always reference The Shining when I'm
9:56 in hotel.
9:58 Always.
10:00 They revamped this a few years ago.
10:12 Forever
10:12 and ever
10:14 and ever.
10:34 That's great.
10:34 Inside knots ghost town.
10:36 >> You know, I just got back to the room. I
10:37 didn't even realize. Kevin was like,
10:38 "Dude, they wrote your name on the cup.
10:41 How do you even realize it?" This is our
10:43 view from the window, too. You can't You
10:45 can't open this up anymore and go out on
10:47 the the ledge, but there's a little
10:50 ledge here, a courtyard.
10:52 This is how close
10:54 to Ghost Rider we are.
11:01 All right, I had to show this inside the
11:01 echoey
11:04 bathroom here. Body wash, boenberry and
11:07 vanilla conditioner and shampoo. both
11:12 poison berry and vanilla flavored. Well,
11:15 not flavored. You don't you don't taste
11:18 it, but you smell it.
11:22 And it comes out.
11:25 Let's see here. Let's see. That's the
11:26 conditioner shampoo.
11:37 Look at that. Poison berry flavored.
11:37 Not going to be the greatest room tour
11:38 simply because we were in here last
11:40 night. We've already slept in the beds,
11:44 utilized the bathrooms.
11:46 Got the little plates here with the boys
11:48 and berries on them. Little boys and
11:49 berry pie. Knottberry place there on
11:52 that one. This is the view. Traditional
11:55 old school style
11:57 motel style air conditioning there.
12:00 Nice and cozy.
12:06 Heading out. Look, they're working on
12:06 the roof up there.
12:10 Yep. Fixing something.
12:19 All right. All checked in. Showing the
12:19 lobby here with some of the This is a
12:22 picture of the old lobby before they
12:24 revamped it. A little bit of history.
12:34 A little Disneyland ticket back when
12:34 Disneyland was 550. Main gate mission
12:38 550.
12:53 Kind of a mellow day in here.
12:53 And we're able to check in early.
12:56 Getting an early check in. We've been
12:58 pretty lucky with getting early
12:59 check-ins. We checked into
13:01 Universal Hilton early and now we're
13:03 check into Tropicana a little early.
13:17 This is the close proximity to the
13:17 parks.
13:19 Montreal beam right there. Bus going by.
13:22 Got a little gift shop here if you need
13:25 to get any snacks, beverages, coffee.
13:28 Cove on Harbor Market and Cafe,
13:31 there's an elevator, but there's only
13:33 two floors. Well, actually, it's three
13:34 floors.
13:36 And then right over there in that little
13:37 cubby hole, there's a washer and dryer.
13:41 I've never stayed in these rooms. Maybe
13:43 one day. Maybe I'll stay with a little
13:44 balcony view one day, but usually just
13:46 stay in the normal room. 12:30, just a
13:49 half hour afternoon. We were able to
13:52 check in. A check-in is usually not till
13:53 3:00 or 4. So,
13:56 we're two we're two for two, right on
13:58 the early check-ins.
13:59 >> Oh, yeah.
14:00 >> Well, we checked in knots for one day. I
14:02 don't I think we got there a little
14:03 later, so that wouldn't have mattered.
14:05 But we're two for two on the like noon
14:07 check-ins on places that we should have
14:08 checked in until 4:00.
14:11 Ah, yes. I know this place all too well.
14:15 Stayed here many times. Not in this
14:17 exact room, but I've stayed in this
14:20 hotel many times. Getting
14:23 the air kicking out. It's a little warm
14:24 today.
14:30 Same style of old motel style there of
14:30 the AC. Nice little chair. Some palm
14:34 trees. Two beds, one for each of us.
14:39 Lights now on. That would have helped if
14:40 I would turn that on. But
14:50 Yeah. It's just kind of an old motel.
14:50 It's been here for many, many years that
14:52 they fixed up, revamped, made it all
14:54 nice.
14:57 Little bath bar here. Woodenberry and
15:00 company. Nothing too fancy. Kind of
15:02 little humble cute accommodations
15:05 in very close proximity to the
15:06 Disneyland Resort. I've never measured
15:08 it feetwise, but I would say it's closer
15:11 here to walk to the Aspenad than it
15:13 would be
15:16 the Disneyland Hotel.
15:29 Little coffee there. Coffee creamer.
15:29 Safe to say that's where you put your
15:31 money. Let's see if there's a Gideonss
15:32 in here. Nope.
15:35 Right over there in that one.
15:42 No Gideonss.
15:42 Gideons fail.
15:44 A microwave. Fridge. Couple of drawers.
15:49 TV
15:51 right up top there.
15:53 Of course, beds
16:02 and just a very short hop, skip, or jump
16:02 if you so choose over to the Walt
16:04 original Magic Kingdom, which I'm
16:05 probably going to go over to Downtown
16:07 Disney at some point. I think they put
16:08 their Halloween decor Halloween
16:11 merchandise out since the last time I
16:12 was here. All right, relax a little bit
16:14 at the room.
16:16 Now, I think I'm going to walk over to
16:17 Downtown Disney to World of Disney,
16:19 check out some merchandise,
16:21 see what's happening over
16:24 on property.
16:39 >> So close. So close. A little bit later
16:39 this evening, we're going to go over to
16:40 Garden Walk, which is the little outdoor
16:43 mall area, which isn't too far. From
16:46 here, it's on the next street corner and
16:47 then up
16:49 >> and go see the new movie weapons, which
16:51 we've heard a lot of good things about.
16:53 >> So, I'm going to pop in here first cuz
16:55 I'm not good at it.
16:58 Maybe an hour or so Downtown Disney. Not
17:00 even going to go in the park
17:03 and then a little bit later. It's also a
17:05 little It's a little warm today. A
17:07 little little warm for SoCal for sure.
17:09 Not a lot of cloud cover out here, which
17:11 does not help with the sun gleaming down
17:14 upon you.
17:16 Was kind of hoping that the Montreal
17:17 would come by, but no luck. No way of
17:21 knowing when the Montreal will zip by.
17:34 All right, no luck on the Montreal going
17:34 in. I'm now on Disneyland property. Now,
17:37 this however I have not seen. I really
17:39 like this. It's like vampire Mickey
17:42 right here with the trickor treat little
17:44 pumpkin there and all those little
17:45 delicious treats inside of the inside of
17:47 the pumpkin itself. I like I like that.
17:50 And I think this might be the best part
17:52 of it. You can go around the backside.
17:54 Not the backside of water, but the
17:55 backside of Vampire Mickey. That is very
17:58 very This is very tempting. I maybe I
18:00 haven't seen this at Disney World, but I
18:02 I like this a lot. The backside. And I
18:04 did in fact end up getting what I just
18:07 showed the the Mickey back and forth
18:08 Mickey the front and back on the vampire
18:10 Mickey ended up getting 436. It's 93°
18:15 but there's like man it is it's showing
18:17 cloud cover here but there's no cloud
18:19 cover and call it a haze
18:22 possibly. I mean is that cloud cover? I
18:24 guess it' be more like a haze.
18:31 I tempted to just get in the pool.
18:31 Problem is the pool. No shade at the
18:34 pool. Definitely not a hot tub day.
18:38 Maybe later tonight maybe. Yeah, maybe
18:41 later tonight when the sun's down.
18:43 Difference between Florida and
18:44 California and Florida when the sun goes
18:46 down is still ridiculously hot. Vegas
18:48 when we were there ridiculously hot even
18:50 when the sun goes down. But SoCal you
18:53 kind of get a little quite a bit more
18:55 coolness when the sun goes down. So
18:57 that's the difference. Just as I
18:59 suspected, not a soul in the pool.
19:03 Well, there's souls in the pool, but
19:05 there's no souls in the hot tub. Why
19:06 would there be? It's scorching. And I
19:08 will not be able to hit the hot tub
19:09 later because we're going to the movie
19:11 at 7:30. So, the movie will probably
19:13 start at 8:00. 2-hour movie, going to
19:16 see weapons. It'll be over around 10.
19:19 Oh, construction update. Look over here.
19:21 Avengers Campus.
19:24 There's the crane.
19:39 Guardians drop ride. Used to be
19:39 Hollywood Tower.
19:41 Walking over to
19:43 the Anaheim Hotel where I've stayed many
19:45 times. Going to get Pizza Press. And
19:47 then after that I walk down to Garden
19:49 Walk which is behind it and go see see a
19:52 movie
19:54 weapons.
19:57 Yeah, there's those clouds like kind of
20:00 streaky clouds.
20:07 Almost looks like a ghost of sort sorts.
20:07 Maybe that's the cloud saying it's
20:09 almost haunt season.
20:17 Yeah, pizza press over here. It's
20:18 interesting. Every time I stay on
20:19 harbor, well, not every time, but a
20:21 majority of the times I will go to pizza
20:23 press.
20:25 However, there's one right across from
20:27 where I live in Celebration, right
20:28 across 192. Very close proximity to
20:32 Celebration. And I never eat at that
20:33 one. I've only eaten there once. This
20:35 one I've probably eaten at 25 times.
20:38 It's just every time I stay on Harbor, I
20:40 get like a hankering and a hunger for
20:42 pizza press. It's like win in Anaheim
20:44 kind of moment.
20:46 And my pizza is going through. I did a
20:48 build your own getting out of all these
20:50 different items through here. You got
20:52 the roofing over here. Here you got the
20:55 start off with the editorial and then
20:56 they just load up whatever you want on
20:58 our on our pizza pies. 1745 for a build
21:02 your own on the size of a pizza about
21:05 that big. It goes through this oven very
21:08 slowly known as the pizza press and then
21:12 it's published and it dumps out on the
21:15 other side right over here through this
21:17 rack. Get any additional things as well.
21:21 quick and easy build your own type of
21:23 thing. I think that I think that might
21:26 that might be starting to peek his head
21:29 out very very slowly. You can see the
21:33 marks there
21:42 of beauty. I think it definitely is
21:42 fully cooked.
21:46 Takes probably 5 minutes to go through
21:48 completely through the oven.
21:50 It's like being burnt.
21:52 Being burnt out
21:55 right there. Kevin just got a stand up
21:58 running.
22:11 I love artich parts. Artichoke parts,
22:11 garlic, onions,
22:17 a little bit of everything. A big
22:17 Supreme guy here.
22:31 Yeah, it's weird. I think maybe I should
22:31 say when I'm on harbor, I can walk to
22:33 this where in celebration I take the
22:35 golf cart over or drive over.
22:43 Have a soda machine. Also, look at this.
22:44 They got some pink flamingos up here.
22:46 But I think instead of getting a soda,
22:48 sometimes I like to get like the dragon
22:50 fruit right there. Berry patch and
22:52 dragon fruit. They also have mango. I'll
22:55 go with the strawberry dragon fruit. I
22:57 had a dragon refresher earlier. This is
23:01 dragon fruit, pomegranate, and
23:02 strawberry mixed.
23:08 Go in on that. Usually I get it to go
23:08 when I go back to the hotel. But because
23:12 Kevin and I are here, we're heading over
23:13 to the movie. We're not going back to
23:14 the hotel. We're going to grab a seat
23:17 right over here at the pizza press.
23:19 There's the press right there. Instead
23:21 of making newspapers though, they're
23:22 making pizza. Pizza pies. Publish your
23:25 own right there. This is what we're
23:27 dealing with with the Got a little side
23:29 of ranch. Oh, you got to do the
23:32 unveiling.
23:33 >> We got a little double dough,
23:35 >> a little hot honey pepperoni, and then
23:37 you got the guava a cider.
23:39 >> Okay. So, you can order you can get
23:42 double dough. You can double up on the
23:43 breading. Okay. Very. I got more like a
23:47 thin sliced over here.
23:50 Nice.
23:52 >> Yeah. I don't know. When in Anaheim and
23:54 you're on harbor, I recommend this
23:55 place. It's like pretty fast. There's
23:57 hardly ever a massive line in here. And
23:59 the pizza's good. I love some I love
24:01 pizza though. I'm a big pizza guy. And
24:03 sliced warm, fresh, and uh ready to
24:07 rock. The cheese pool. Too hot for the
24:10 cheese. Too hot. It's just It's all
24:11 coming off.
24:12 >> The burn pool. That's what it is. What's
24:14 it called? It's instead of a cheese
24:17 pull. It's a bird pool cuz it's burn
24:18 hot.
24:21 >> I'm getting a ham pull. Pulling a hammy.
24:24 If you wanted to park over here and not
24:25 in the Disneyland parking structure and
24:27 you didn't have a hotel on harbor, you
24:31 wanted to be this close to just walk
24:32 across. You pay $35 here. It used to be
24:35 a lot cheaper. I think it was like 15
24:36 bucks at one time. Then it was like 20
24:38 25. Now it's 35.
24:47 Which if you're paying that much to park
24:47 in the Mickey and Friends parking, I'd
24:50 rather park here for 35. Way closer.
24:52 >> Well, after you post the video, it's
24:53 going to go up to 40 and everybody's
24:55 going to be coming to park.
24:56 >> Ah, true. Next week it might be 40.
25:01 >> Hey, the pool at the Anaheim Hotel is
25:03 right behind that little hedge. Stayed
25:06 here quite a few times.
25:13 I don't remember these being here.
25:13 That's like a prehistoric creature of
25:15 some sort.
25:17 Out of the way.
25:25 I haven't been to Garden Walk in a
25:25 while.
25:27 There's a mammoth
25:49 Man, it's like a parade rolling through
25:49 here now. Not only of cars, but of
25:51 animals,
25:52 some zebras.
25:59 Kevin and I were just discussing why
25:59 Disney does not purchase the Garden
26:01 Walk. cuz Garden Walk is not really
26:02 thriving anymore
26:05 cuz you got Toy Story parking way over
26:07 there past Garden Walk, which they own.
26:09 Then you have this entire spot that's
26:11 not owned by Disneyland. And then you
26:13 got employee parking over there that's
26:15 owned. So if for some reason they ever
26:17 got their hands on this, that's a
26:18 massive footprint. That could be a third
26:20 gate.
26:22 Almost a year ago, well not quite. I
26:24 think it was early September. So coming
26:27 to be close to be a year. I did the run
26:29 Disney Halloween event last year.
26:32 Started right here. This was this is
26:33 where we were my buddy the Tim Tim
26:36 tracker. We were running this way. Went
26:38 right through here. We were coralled and
26:40 then went that way. This is where the
26:42 starting point was. We got our lanyards
26:45 and everything over there.
27:00 Just a little short distance from where
27:00 we're staying.
27:02 It'll be dark when we get out of the
27:04 movie. Is that the movie theater up
27:06 there? I never been to a movie here.
27:22 House of Blues is over here. Used to be
27:22 at Downtown Disney where Splitzville is
27:24 now.
27:25 That's House of Blues up there.
27:31 Never been to a show at House of Blues
27:31 here in Anaheim. There's a concert at
27:32 House of Blues tonight. Not sure who's
27:34 playing in there, but there's some
27:35 people up there. But yeah, the Carnival
27:37 at Grasslands. It's going to be a future
27:39 re-imagined VR type of thing that
27:42 stretches all the way down there. This
27:43 is where I was thinking of. This has
27:45 been here for a long time. The new
27:46 company that's going to be taking this
27:47 over is going to be called Eulogy
27:50 Collective. They used to not have a gate
27:52 here and you could get a photo here in
27:53 the grasp of this ghoul, but now they
27:55 put this like gate around it so you
27:57 can't get the photo op anymore. There's
27:58 also one right up here. I guess you
28:00 could do a photo op where it acts like
28:01 you're gra she's like grabbing your head
28:03 or something with the exception of
28:04 people going to the movie and to the
28:07 concert. Most people are parking over at
28:09 Toy Story parking and just walking from
28:11 here to Disneyland. That seems to be
28:15 kind of what most people are doing. Ah,
28:16 yes. The Orange County Crows at the
28:20 night. Those things, they flock around
28:22 Downtown Disney
28:24 around this hour.
28:26 I wonder when the last time this
28:28 concierge booth was opened.
28:30 When's the last time you think this Con
28:32 concierge booth was open?
28:34 >> Probably the same time the 192 one was
28:36 open selling tickets.
28:37 >> This is pretty nice. This is uh this is
28:39 what I was just talking about. The crows
28:40 kind of flying over. This would be
28:42 really a kind of a beautiful like pre-
28:44 sunset like dusk like early dust like
28:46 late dusk pre- sunset crows flying over
28:49 a true Hitchcock would be proud moment
28:52 flying over Orange County all the
28:54 different crows going over CityWalk
28:55 going somewhere maybe over Downtown
28:57 Disney I don't know but seeing the crows
28:59 and now getting ready to go into the AMC
29:01 getting ready to watch weapons it's the
29:03 same director from Barbarian at first I
29:05 thought it was going to be a sequel to
29:07 Barbarian but evidently has nothing to
29:09 do with Barbarian But I did like
29:11 Barbarian. It was a It was a very
29:13 interesting interesting creepy film. So,
29:15 but I've heard this one is getting
29:17 better reviews and people are kind of
29:18 ranting and raving about this being such
29:20 a a great movie. So, excited to see it.
29:22 All right. Just got out of the movie. It
29:24 was very interesting. So, it the first
29:27 three quarters of the movie kind of go
29:29 back and forth showing I don't give too
29:31 many spoilers, but showing things from
29:32 different perspective of different
29:33 characters. One thing I thought was
29:35 really interesting is the main villain,
29:37 the the lady who's the main villain. You
29:39 probably seen photos of her and things
29:40 like that without giving too many
29:42 spoilers. She was Kevin Cosner's wife in
29:46 Fuel the Dreams and I didn't realize it
29:47 till till the very very end. Well, by
29:49 about halfway through there was a scene
29:51 that it kind of hit me on who she was.
29:53 Amy Mad Amy Madigan is her name. I love
29:57 Field of the Dreams. So, it was weird
29:58 seeing her like in a horror film. But of
30:01 the two movies that I can recall seeing
30:03 from that director, I would say
30:05 Barbarian is probably the favorite. It's
30:06 more of a straightup horror film. This
30:08 is kind of more of like a mystery and
30:09 then it kind of gets horror and slasher
30:12 and scaryish and monstrous at the end.
30:15 But I think of the two, I think I prefer
30:17 Barbarian, but see it yourself. Make
30:19 your own decision. Glad I saw it. Don't
30:22 know if I'd see it a second time.
30:25 Barbarian I would definitely watch
30:27 again. I've seen it a couple times. I
30:28 don't know if I'd watch that one again,
30:29 but maybe one day. Maybe when it's on
30:32 streaming I'll watch it again.
30:38 Also, if you would have told me Jordan
30:38 Peele had directed that film, I would
30:41 have probably gone into it thinking that
30:43 Jordan Peele directed that. Kind of
30:45 reminded me of a not as good Jordan
30:48 Peele film.
30:51 Not saying it was bad, but I don't think
30:54 it lived up to the hype everyone was
30:56 saying how good it was. Anyway, that's
30:58 my review. Back at the hotel
31:05 now. Now, I feel like I'm going to go on
31:05 a I won't say a deep dive, but I
31:07 probably got to go on a a a slightly
31:09 moderately half deep dive on the
31:12 backstory of the the main character,
31:14 Witch Lady from Field of Dreams.
31:18 I'm just going to call her Field of
31:20 Dreams Lady. You ever see Field of
31:22 Dreams?
31:22 >> Oh, great movie. This movie.
31:25 >> You've been waiting to give your
31:26 opinion.
31:26 >> Yeah, it's a Teimu Jordan field film
31:29 cinematography. Beautiful, right? The
31:31 way they move the camera is wonderful. I
31:33 was bored. It's kind of a clunky mess.
31:35 >> Yeah,
31:35 >> half of it could have been cut out.
31:37 Sure, there's some artsy fartsy deeper
31:39 meaning to it, [laughter] but like
31:41 >> it was his spookiness. It was kind of
31:42 missing it. Like
31:44 >> it wasn't it wasn't a horror film.
31:45 >> Everybody was like, "It's the best movie
31:46 ever." No,
31:47 >> it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
31:49 >> It's like, okay, a game changer.
31:51 >> I can't I don't want to watch that.
31:52 Don't want to watch that. Let's watch
31:54 this. I You make it halfway through.
31:56 >> You know what is exciting though, Kevin?
31:58 >> The Montreal.
32:00 There you go. There goes
32:03 the Montreal. Go watch the movie and
32:05 make your own decision. It's not bad,
32:07 but it's not going to it's not going to
32:09 it's not going to live on in infamy as
32:10 one of the greatest films ever made. All
32:11 right, that's going to do it for today.
32:14 Very echoey under here. Very echoey. Now
32:18 it's not. Thanks for watching. See you
32:20 in the next video. The vlog.
32:23 Go watch Field of Dreams.
32:26 Nudo run.
32:28 The vlog is over.
