1:09 on New Year's 2009 three and a half

1:12 years ago crazy that it was that long

1:15 ago we came walking right down here we

1:17 filmed a bunch of

1:19 nonsense right in here in these little

1:21 catacombs and caverns at the Sugar Mill

1:25 and I was just kind of thinking today

1:26 when I got up I woke up and I thought I

1:29 don't know I was just feel feeling kind

1:30 of emotional and I wanted to share some

1:32 of my emotions with you it's hard to

1:34 believe it's been 3 and a half years

1:35 since I started my main channel the Adam

1:38 the woo Channel I really didn't put a

1:40 lot of content on it at first at first

1:42 it was just kind of like sporadic

1:43 abandoned places and I remember within

1:46 the first couple months no one really

1:47 cared I put this video out I put a

1:50 couple other more abandoned places out

1:51 weird roadside

1:53 stuff things like this and no one cared

1:58 one or two views no one would comment no

2:00 one cared by about the fourth or fifth

2:02 video I would get a comment from someone

2:06 that I didn't know a random person out

2:08 there in cyberspace someone that lived

2:11 in another state or another country

2:13 would leave a comment on my videos and I

2:16 remember thinking this is the most

2:18 amazing thing ever someone I don't know

2:22 is taking interest in something I filmed

2:24 and I did and that got me motivated

2:26 super motivated I thought I got to do

2:28 more stuff so I kept doing more and more

2:30 and more slowly but Sur I started

2:32 getting a couple subscribers like every

2:34 day I'd have another subscriber at the

2:36 end of the week I'd have five new

2:38 subscribers I thought this is amazing

2:40 someone subscribes they have interest in

2:43 the places I'm going I'm on to something

2:45 here so basically it was slow goings for

2:49 about the first year year and a half

2:51 things didn't really kick off until

2:53 November of 2011 I think it was October

2:56 2011 I took my first road trip I quit my

3:00 job a couple months before that and I

3:02 dedicated myself to traveling around I

3:05 thought you know what I'm just going to

3:06 hit the road hopefully people will

3:09 understand what I'm doing and kind of

3:11 latch on to the videos give me some

3:13 advice give me some Adventure tips give

3:15 me some Adventure locations and live

3:19 vicariously through me just like this

3:21 right here is living vicariously through

3:24 us right now so that's basically how it

3:26 went down so the first video I had was 3

3:28 and 1/2 years ago it was very slow going

3:30 at first and then around November 2011

3:34 it kind of started to take off and now

3:36 it's just kind of starting to steamroll

3:38 and people are interested and I just

3:40 want to show my appreciation to you for

3:43 being interested in the things I do I

3:44 think it's an amazing thing I think

3:46 YouTube is the ultimate internet video

3:50 DIY do-it-yourself video tool no matter

3:54 what you like to do if you're thinking

3:55 about starting a YouTube channel or you

3:57 have a YouTube channel the secret is is

4:00 just keep putting stuff out if people

4:02 are interested slowly but

4:03 surely piece by piece people are going

4:06 to become interested they're going to

4:07 subscribe Just Like These Bricks here

4:10 piece by piece it made this Sugar Mill

4:13 this Sugar Mill was not built by one

4:15 brick just like a fan base a subscriber

4:18 base whatever you want to call it I hate

4:19 using the word fan base because it's not

4:21 what it is it's more of a friend base a

4:23 kindred spirit base but that is not

4:26 built off one brick it's built off a

4:28 bunch of people slow slowly but surely

4:31 it takes 2 or 3 years of constant

4:33 progress and prodding it has to be

4:35 something you're interested so if you're

4:36 interested super interested in something

4:39 and you love doing videos I encourage

4:41 you to put videos on YouTube go out and

4:44 see stuff if you're an artist do some

4:46 videos on YouTube about artist stuff no

4:48 matter what it is just keep putting

4:49 stuff out there if you see any kind of

4:52 progression any kind of progression even

4:54 one or two people a day eventually those

4:56 one or two people are going to end up

4:58 being a multi itude of people just give

5:01 it some time stay motivated stay

5:04 dedicated and don't ever quit like

5:06 anything don't ever ever ever quit

5:08 sometimes I get kind of depressed and I

5:10 think man there's not enough people

5:11 watching these videos but then I look

5:13 back and I think this is amazing how far

5:16 this has become and what motivates me

5:18 even more is how much farther this is

5:20 going to progress It's Only Just Begun I

5:22 don't want to give away some of the

5:24 future plans that I have cuz I'm a firm

5:26 believer and not announcing everything

5:28 cuz then when it doesn't happen if

5:29 doesn't happen then you kind of look

5:31 like a fool and I don't want to look

5:33 like a fool so I I'm going to basically

5:34 keep those things to myself but in my

5:36 mind and in my heart I know there's some

5:39 amazing things on the horizon and this

5:41 whole shenanigan Fest that you're a part

5:44 of by subscribing to both these channels

5:47 this is the daily Channel I'm talking

5:48 about my other channel the Adam the woo

5:49 Channel this whole thing that you're a

5:51 part of seriously has only just begun I

5:54 know I've just been saying that a bunch

5:56 of times looks like they replaced part

5:59 of that over there look see those right

6:01 there those are new concrete bricks so

6:04 that's new since I was out here anyway

6:07 this is only just begun this was the

6:09 starting point more roadside Adventures

6:12 more travels it's going to get crazy I'm

6:15 not kidding I know I keep saying that

6:17 lots of Adventures on the way and I want
