0:21 overboard warm War it's my second
0:21 channel daily Vlog Channel I think I
0:22 threw my voice
0:24 out it's the daily look at this trash
0:27 truck it's picking up this couch with a
0:30 claw the claw there are huge hunks of
0:34 metal to the sky and a very decorated
0:37 water tower behind that little Motel
0:40 it's located behind this master barber
0:43 shop for some reason their American flag
0:46 is upside down maybe on accident maybe
0:49 on purpose but they've instructed us no
0:53 climbing over the fence leading to
1:03 this
1:03 amazing piece of art this all started in
1:06 1989 by a man named Billy trip who since
1:09 then has been putting his amazing puzzle
1:13 together with a little bit of everything
1:16 in fact I think I see the
1:18 base the wheels of a tank in there
1:21 somewhere it is referred to as the mind
1:25 field and there is a significance to
1:28 every piece
1:30 of this but it is a subject of great
1:34 debate on what every part
1:37 means once he started building it he
1:40 never stopped because in his words and
1:42 I'm paraphrasing no one
1:45 complained so he just kept going and
1:47 because this is one of the largest art
1:49 sculptures in Tennessee they have
1:51 started the mind field Grill and right
1:55 here on their logo you can see the fire
1:59 tower the water tower and there's even a
2:02 spoon and a fork in there wait a second
2:05 there's no Spoon and Fork well maybe
2:08 there is maybe I'm just missing it do
2:09 you see a spoon and a fork you can spend
2:12 quite a while staring at the items that
2:14 are welded on
2:17 this check this little guy out an
2:20 atomically
2:22 correct
2:24 gentleman up there or at least the
2:28 perception of one but as you peruse
2:34 down there's a heart look at this heart
2:36 right
2:42 here looks like one of those old western
2:42 style dinner Bells did I just say
2:45 atomically it's supposed to be
2:47 anatomically right anatomically correct
2:51 there's even a date stamp on it
2:53 symbolizing the fact that it is not
2:55 completed and it's always a work in
2:58 progress and it has been dedicated
3:00 to his mom and his dad and this sign
3:05 says dog bless whatever so not God
3:08 Bless but dog bless I wonder if this is
3:12 the
3:13 dog wonder if that's the dog that gives
3:17 oh look yes these old school wrestling
3:21 figures man I used to have a bunch of
3:22 the standing directly below it now
3:26 looking inside its nether region
3:30 this is pretty cool and has taken a lot
3:34 of work and a lot of
3:37 time always fascinating what people
3:40 dedicate their lives
3:43 to very interesting whoa there's even a
3:46 canoe up there do you see the
3:53 canoe I knew you'd see the
3:53 canoe you knew the canoe I don't know
3:56 where I'm going with that joke oh that
3:58 guy's carrying a CR
4:00 so where did you start from and where
4:02 you headed to I started in christberg
4:04 Virginia headed to California all the
4:07 way to California carry in the cross
4:09 trying to open up eyes and open up
4:10 Hearts Jesus will walk again and we all
4:12 need to be ready very cool man we live
4:15 in a cruel world and just trying to
4:17 bring people back towards God and Jesus
4:19 let him know that he's still there he
4:21 still loves us about how far do you walk
4:23 in a day normally I try to put it in
4:25 about an 8 hour day so about 8 hours so
4:28 you just walk basically during during
4:29 daylight daylight hours daylight and I
4:32 set up camp before nightfall so you just
4:35 set up a camp on the side of the road
4:37 back and find the spot very cool what's
4:40 your
4:40 name nice to meet you man nice to meet
4:43 you well best of luck appreciate you
4:45 have a going you look me up on Facebook
4:47 man you're on Facebook yes sir what's
4:49 your Facebook Donald Akens AK NS Donald
4:53 Akens AK NS NS all right manate have a
4:59 good one that kind of goes along with
5:00 the theme of people who dedicate their
5:02 life and their time to doing something
5:05 some people build huge AR structures
5:08 others walk across the country carrying
5:10 a cross I tried to find some bottle
5:12 water I didn't have any bottle water
5:15 other than the one I'm drinking that is
5:16 already opened I need to start carrying
5:18 bottles of water to give out in
5:21 situations like that I don't think
5:23 handing him my half drank Smart Water
5:26 would have he would have really approved
5:27 of that here he goes
5:34 best of luck
5:34 buddy check this
5:45 out just a lonely piece of a train
5:45 chilling by itself at first I was
5:48 looking at the road thinking man someone
5:50 was driving like a maniac all these skid
5:53 marks then I realized they're just the
5:56 Shadows of the telephone lines up above
6:00 they fooled me I don't know why this
6:02 makes me laugh but there's just a
6:04 random cardboard arm and a hand holding
6:09 a Dr
6:10 Pepper look at this it's supposed to
6:14 like turn and twist I don't think it's
6:16 working I don't know why it's
6:18 there after living in California bottle
6:21 water seems so much cheaper everywhere
6:23 else sometimes in these smaller towns
6:25 it's hard to figure out what the speed
6:26 level oh there it is 31 that that's okay
6:30 all right now I know it's 31 mph through
6:33 here the town of Trenton years ago had a
6:35 heated argument on if the speed limit
6:37 should be 35 or 30 and someone said
6:40 let's just make it 31 not a joke it's
6:44 really 31 miles hour their courthouse is
6:48 awesome and the murals I always point
6:50 out old Coca-Cola signage and sometimes
6:53 Pepsi well here's one that's Dr Pepper
6:57 don't see that too often all it needs is
6:58 a cardboard arm and hand holding it
7:02 right I'm pretty sure cows could graze
7:06 over there and it's very green so is
7:09 that what they mean by greener pastures
7:12 but on the other side of the road the
7:16 grass is also green so the grass is
7:20 greener on the other
7:21 side just like it is on the original
7:25 side it's very confusing pulling into
7:28 Rutherford now
7:30 the last home of Davey Crockett cabin
7:34 and museum is a replica of his last home
7:37 and his mother's grave and Monument is
7:39 here the last home originally was 4 and2
7:42 miles
7:43 east and I
7:45 believe they have built this out of the
7:48 Timber from the original home and on the
7:51 property is his mother Rebecca Hawkins
7:54 Crockett born in Maryland about
7:57 1756 died around
8:00 1834 in Gibson County Tennessee what's
8:04 that all right thank you we're at number
8:07 one and the that's the nearest that he
8:11 left to
8:12 this which is the bottom picture and
8:16 from an old postcard in
8:24 1955 the that movie David Crockett King
8:24 of the Y
8:25 Frontier had just premiered and the
8:28 Lions Club said you know what we've been
8:31 talking about rebuilding Crockett's home
8:36 Now's the Time we better do it this
8:38 older lady said when I was a child I
8:40 played around Miss Crockett's grave and
8:43 she he showed she showed him where it
8:46 was and uh he tried to get the state to
8:50 put him a monument back there and they
8:52 said it's so far back in the field the
8:54 historical people moved her remains from
8:56 there out here and you saw that Monument
8:59 yeah I saw it outside uhhuh so that man
9:02 he he
9:05 sent and he uh Riv Massachusetts and he
9:09 came when they had the dedication in
9:11 Spring of 56 so what is this is from the
9:14 Alamo that's hard to believe and and a
9:17 lot of people don't believe it but I
9:19 knew the man who donated that and look
9:22 in that yeah I think that's a candle
9:24 thing there's a lock in there oh yeah so
9:28 you look at this old oh that's
9:30 incredible yeah so this piece of wood
9:32 was from the original cabin right this
9:34 here that one they tore down
9:38 and4 yeah she didn't get a big enough
9:41 log and it started splitting on her so I
9:43 noticed she didn't finish the feet or
9:45 the gun sto she carved it in 96 out on
9:48 the front lawn
9:50 mhm just looking at these these animals
9:52 are yeah they're kind of
9:55 scary scary that bob cat is old old oh
10:00 thisy a man here that's in his late 60s
10:03 and somebody gave him that when he was
10:05 in college so there's no telling
10:21 wow I didn't even realize that there was
10:21 a second floor well from outside it
10:24 doesn't look like it and the spinning
10:28 wheel is called a walking Spinning Wheel
10:32 because it's so big so his widow got $24
10:35 for him fighting and giving his life at
10:38 the Alamo that's all she got was $24
10:41 yeah that's one had got but one I you're
10:44 supposed to just rub them and they're
10:45 supposed to move
10:47 uhhuh
10:49 yeah see they don't move some of some of
10:52 them don't move there some of them some
10:54 of them do not they don't like to be
10:56 petted as some of the right how much nap
10:59 have on them
11:06 yeah M so maybe it's the weather it may
11:06 be cold yeah it must be cold if it's
11:09 long trips
11:11 well be better than this one which is
11:14 short trips
11:38 that was an amazing experience when I
11:38 first showed up the cabin was locked a
11:40 local guy drove by and said I can call
11:42 the owner he can let you in so he called
11:45 him and then a couple minutes later a
11:47 couple showed up actually here he comes
11:50 right now that's the guy who
11:51 originally what's his name buttons
11:54 buttons yeah buttons he tears buttons
11:57 off man
11:59 it was made by earthquake back in 1800s
12:03 man that's where the Indians live no
12:06 kidding no kidding and it come the
12:08 Mississippi run back backers for days
12:12 man they made this big Real Foot Lake
12:14 what they call Real Foot Lake man that
12:15 sounds awesome yeah and when they
12:18 started doing work Excavating the edge
12:20 of the banks there they dug all kind of
12:22 Indian artifacts up it's the museum down
12:25 there man pretty cool place down in
12:27 there man and thanks for thanks for
12:28 calling them to let me in that was
12:30 awesome had a good time no problem man
12:33 I'm glad you enjoy itol and have a good
12:36 all right you too buddy and I bought a
12:37 couple books off the husband of the
12:39 couple that showed me around the cabin I
12:41 didn't have any cash so he drove me down
12:43 to the
12:44 ATM that's awesome the guy with the dog
12:47 wrote me this note told me places I
12:49 could go to kick back real good you
12:53 never know what's going to happen or who
12:55 you're going to meet when you pull over
12:57 on the side of the road pretty AES
12:59 awesome there he goes
13:02 look there's a white squirrel there is
13:05 an albino squirrel out here he's up in
13:09 the tree
13:15 now he's hard to see but he's in there
13:15 they are very Elusive and obviously do
13:18 not like being on camera wait there's
13:20 another one be very quiet he's right
13:22 there there he goes he's going he's
13:25 right over
13:30 there that is so cool this lady's
13:31 inviting me up in her yard to see
13:50 yes nap oh not okay it went up in the if
13:50 you want to sit down that little
13:57 thing okay I'll sit right here and wait
13:57 random stranger asked me to sit in her
14:01 yard and wait for the squirrels to come
14:03 back out and she has a statue of one
14:07 right there got to love it oh my gosh I
14:11 see
14:12 one there he is he's he's running up the
14:15 branch way up
14:17 there that is so
14:19 cool oh my gosh you're so
14:23 fast The
14:25 elusive albino squirrel there's another
14:28 one
14:29 there's another one right there on the
14:45 ground
14:45 wow so cool it has been a pretty good
14:49 day today I must say a pretty good day I
14:54 like cruising these back roads hitting
14:57 the small towns meeting people
14:59 learning new
15:00 things that's what life is all about the
15:03 gentleman at the cabin gave me this it's
15:05 a buckeye and he said you're supposed to
15:08 hold it and rub it for good luck I don't
15:11 know if there's any truth to that
15:14 but it was his
15:21 gift good luck
15:21 is going to say good luck is heading my
15:24 way but I dropped it
15:27 Vlog over
