0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:02 the recording of this Wednesday, May the
0:05 7th, 2025. I'm here at Orlando
0:08 International Airport, MCO Terminal 3,
0:11 which is where my flight is going to be
0:13 departing. I booked it through Delta,
0:15 but I believe it's going through Air
0:17 Mexico because I am heading to Mexico
0:21 City for an undisclosed amount of
0:24 time. It's going to be good. It's going
0:26 to be interesting. The only time I've
0:28 ever been to Mexico, which I do not
0:30 classify as me ever really being in the
0:33 country per se because I just crossed
0:35 the border over San Diego years ago and
0:38 did one day a little touristy walk up
0:40 and down the strip there in Tijana, but
0:42 I wanted to go more into the into the
0:45 middle of the country. So that's why I
0:48 chose Mexico City and that's where I'm
0:49 going to be going starting today. It's
0:52 about a four little little more than a
0:53 4h hour flight. Got my bags all packed
0:56 up right down here and I'm inviting you.
0:58 Yes you. It's good to have you to join
1:00 me. Shall you? Bags all carry on. This
1:04 this luggage has gone with me on all my
1:06 international trips so far. Thus far
1:08 this year in 25 I'm trying to do at
1:10 least one country per month and I'm
1:12 staying that course so far. In January I
1:15 went to Bise and then at the end in the
1:18 first of the month for you know a little
1:20 while over a week like 9 days or so.
1:22 Then for a week I went to England. Then
1:24 I went to London the end of January.
1:26 Then I went to Ecuador in
1:29 February. And then in March I went to
1:32 Canada. And then in April, where did I
1:35 go in April? Oh, I went to South Korea
1:37 in April. And now it's May. And now it's
1:39 time for Mexico. Last time I went over
1:42 to the Bgates for Delta and I realized I
1:44 got to take the shuttle way over here,
1:46 the Montreal thing, way over here, back
1:48 over to sea. So this time I just had the
1:49 Uber drop me off at C. And hopefully
1:52 that works out. I don't have to go back
1:53 all the way over to B. Looking for gate
1:55 C 240. However, I couldn't check in on
1:59 the app. I guess it's because it's
2:01 flying through Air Mexico. I had to do
2:05 it at a gate. So, I got to find a Delta
2:07 gate or a G Delta agent. I don't know if
2:09 they have them over here in the sea
2:10 gates. Hopefully, they do. They just
2:12 inquired and I need to go over to the
2:13 Aero
2:15 Mexico stand over here. I am getting my
2:18 Delta points and Sky Miles and
2:20 everything because I booked it through
2:21 Delta, but I got to go check in over at
2:22 the Aero
2:23 Mexico. Pretty neat. I'll be on a
2:25 different plane I haven't been on
2:26 before. That's the Delta logo right
2:28 there, the Delta. Same kind of Delta Sky
2:31 priority line. See, my gates's been
2:32 changed to 235. All I had to do is show
2:34 the passport. They printed out the
2:36 boarding pass. Got my Got my Crocs. I
2:40 always try to wear Crocs on flight days.
2:42 Makes it a lot easier and more
2:44 comfortable on the plane. Tennis shoes
2:45 on non-flight days, Crocs on flight
2:48 days. 235 I'm looking for. There's
2:52 hardly anybody in here. A total of a
2:54 five minute wait. That's it. Fair Tal
2:56 say beyond the Orlando experience where
2:59 the sky is not the limit. Give it up for
3:03 the
3:04 Seagates. Also, this is the first day.
3:06 Today is the first day that the real
3:10 ID they become very strict. If you don't
3:12 have the real ID, you cannot fly. So
3:14 that might be why the crowds are lower.
3:15 Could be. I don't know for sure. But
3:18 it's the first day the real ID is in
3:20 effect, which I do have. And I also have
3:22 the passport so I can fly. This is cool.
3:24 Even over here in the Seagates, there's
3:26 a Universal Orlando store and a Walt
3:29 Disney World store over here as well.
3:31 I've only seen the ones over at the A&B
3:32 gates, but there's also ones over here
3:34 at the Seagates. All the theme parks are
3:37 represented. Well, the two big ones. And
3:39 Disney just announced today before I
3:42 before I grabbed the Uber on the way
3:43 over, but they are making their seventh
3:46 theme park. Seventh theme
3:48 park. I've only been to two of them.
3:51 Walt Disney World and Disneyland. I got
3:52 a I got a lot to got a lot of catching
3:54 up to do with. There's a lot more gates
3:56 than that, but that's the actual theme
3:58 park destinations for Disney World. They
4:00 just announced their seventh one. There
4:02 it is. K235.
4:06 vastly smaller plane than the one I went
4:08 to South Korea on, which was the largest
4:10 plane I've ever been on in my entire
4:11 life. It was like triple decker, maybe
4:14 double-decker. This is just a single
4:17 decker.
4:18 235 seat is mine. 4A is my
4:23 seat. Going to be departing at 159.
4:26 Boarding at 11:15 is
4:31 12:54. 2our time difference in Mexico
4:34 City. I think they're 2 hours I think
4:36 they're 2 hours earlier than Orlando is.
4:40 So, it won't be much jet lag. There
4:42 won't be any jet lag this time, which
4:43 will be nice.
4:52 441 departs at 159. Weather at the
4:52 destination right now is 76° in Mexico
4:55 City. Arrow Mexico. Never flown this
4:57 airline before.
4:59 Showing you how to put the luggage in
5:01 like a book on a bookshelf. I always
5:03 hear the flight attendant say that. So,
5:05 it's like stuck in my brain.
5:09 Mexico, Sky Team, that's all the
5:11 arrivals and departures. That is quite a
5:14 massive list of Look at this. This is
5:16 all out of so you know whether A, B, or
5:19 C. Departures, arrivals. I mean, you
5:23 could just roll the dice, throw a dart
5:25 at a dart board and pick a thing. I
5:27 didn't do that, but maybe one day I'll
5:28 maybe I'll take a dart board one day and
5:29 just throw something and go somewhere.
5:31 But today, Mexico
5:34 City. They also have these little
5:36 vehicles which are very similar to the
5:38 people mover. Look at
5:46 this. The people mover
5:46 vehicle. There's a better look at the
5:48 back of the plane, the tail of the
5:50 plane. Yeah, definitely never flown this
5:52 airline before. Also going to get myself
5:53 a coffee. Always heard that you probably
5:55 shouldn't drink coffee on an airplane
5:56 because the water is not the best water.
5:59 That's what people say. People say
6:01 things and you don't know if they're
6:02 true or not true, but I've heard more
6:03 people say that than not. So, I'm just
6:05 assuming it's probably better to get a
6:07 coffee before you get on the
6:09 plane. I mean, I'm not saying I'm not
6:11 going to get coffee on a plane anymore,
6:13 but I might as well get one now before I
6:16 board. Piping hot caffeinated beverage
6:19 for the
6:20 sky. I was going to get the large, but I
6:22 just went with the smaller version just
6:24 because I don't want to be be uh hitting
6:26 the facilities constantly while I'm on
6:28 the plane. once as good, twice as good.
6:31 Any more than that, you're just
6:32 constantly making a steady stream to go
6:36 uh go number one. So, just a small 4K
7:32 coast. Happy New
7:32 Year. We want to thank you for your
7:34 business and I hope to see you soon.
7:37 Now, I say goodbye. Wishing your
7:40 birthday.
9:01 Mommy, flying through the clouds. I
9:04 always like looking at clouds when I'm
9:06 flying. Probably going to get a little
9:07 turbulence here as we're going through
9:09 them. Usually the most turbulence is
9:11 when kind of going bouncing around
9:13 through the
9:21 clouds. Be flying right over the
9:21 ocean. Once we get out of Florida, it's
9:24 going to be pretty much all all ocean
9:27 below me until I get to Mexico.
11:52 Yeah, audio books for the win on
11:52 flights. Super easy. Just throw the
11:54 headphones
12:00 on. Usually I listen to podcast, but I
12:00 kind of like the audio
12:03 book way of doing things.
12:40 It's an interesting green buildup on the
12:40 on the lake down
12:51 there. All right. Going right
12:51 over right over the city
12:54 there. See the shadows of the clouds?
13:16 I guess the airport looks like the
13:16 airport's like right by this the actual
13:29 below. Oh wow. A little turbulence.
13:29 Making a sharp turn here.
13:43 There's a stadium up here of some sort.
13:43 Baseball, football stadium,
13:51 soccer going over the interstates or the
13:51 freeways. Main thorough affairs of some
13:53 sort.
13:55 Highways actually looks like there's two
13:58 stadiums. Here we go.
14:01 Look at this one here.
14:03 Yeah, that's kind of unique right there.
14:05 Right.
14:07 The circular one right there.
14:13 That's
14:13 different. Other one looks like a
14:15 football or track stadium, but the other
14:16 one I don't know what that
14:23 is. Coming in for a landing
14:23 soon. Nice
14:26 little circular aerial view of Mexico
14:29 City.
17:10 All right, walking off the jetway now.
17:10 The jet bridge, I should say. It's humid
17:14 in this jet bridge. Very
17:16 humid. Well, very hot in the Jeep, I
17:18 should
17:20 say. I've arrived in
17:24 Mexico. Got to go through customs or my
17:26 passport again, I would guess. Well,
17:28 most likely. Yes.
17:45 This is kind of cool.
17:45 There's little windows that you can look
17:46 out. There's
17:49 concrete or cement I should
17:52 say. Made it through. Was about a 15 I
17:55 don't know about 15 minute process
17:57 getting through all that. Not too bad.
17:58 Going to exchange a little money over
18:00 here. I will get some more out at during
18:02 the duration of my stay, but for now
18:04 going to exchange a little cash and get
18:05 some uh get some Mexican currency. And
18:09 this was the exchange rate. I exchanged
18:11 $100. Here's the currency I got in
18:13 return. has the Bank of Mexico emblem on
18:16 it. There's 100 pesos. There's 20 pesos.
18:19 And then down here on my bag, I have the
18:22 coins right there as well. 200 200 pesos
18:27 there. That's the back of it. That's the
18:28 front side of it. Got a lot of 200 peso
18:31 bills. And then I got the 100 and the
18:33 20. All of this I got from $100 in cash
18:38 US money. And I'm sure they take credit
18:40 cards here as well, but I always like to
18:42 to have this. And I can also go to an
18:44 ATM and pull more out as well, but I
18:46 always like to exchange a little bit
18:48 right when I arrive each country. Next
18:49 priority is going to be getting some
18:51 sort of transportation over to my hotel
18:54 for my stay here. Was customs went here.
18:58 It was a couple different steps. Pretty
18:59 quick, probably 10 minutes for the first
19:02 step and then another 5 minutes after
19:04 that. They do not allow you to film
19:07 going through the process. Every country
19:08 I've been to, there's very strict signs
19:10 saying no cell phone use, no cameras, no
19:12 filming,
19:15 etc. But made it through that and now
19:17 I'm out here getting ready to grab
19:19 probably a ride share, get over to the
19:21 hotel that I have for my
19:29 stay. But basically everything now is
19:29 facial recognition. Even when I boarded
19:32 the flight at MCO, getting on the plane,
19:33 facial recognition. You go in, we know
19:35 who you are. You're walking through.
19:37 Same with the passport. Pulled my
19:39 passport out. Went through a little
19:41 thing. Put my passport on a Didn't even
19:44 talk to anybody. Well, they the only
19:45 person I talked to was the one that was
19:47 guiding everyone through the queue. Then
19:50 you get to the front, scan your
19:52 passport, thing opens, green light if
19:54 you're accepted. If you're not, you go
19:56 through and then the facial recognition.
19:58 You walk in quick and easy. Just like
20:01 that. This is probably the simplest and
20:04 shortest line of all the ones going
20:06 through. going through customs so far
20:08 that I've gone through. I really enjoy
20:10 flying. It's a really quite an
20:12 experience to land somewhere that you're
20:14 not familiar with and just uh just be
20:16 kind of out of your element
20:18 and see what
20:21 happens. I'm in Mexico. There's also
20:23 taxis you can get. This is the line for
20:25 taxis. There's a taxi booth over there.
20:29 There's also taxi booths here. There's
20:31 taxis everywhere. But not just people
20:33 hailing taxis, but taxi stands.
20:37 This is
20:49 something. Think I might just do the
21:01 taxi. A lot of people trying washing
21:01 windows and sewing things with the
21:02 lights.
21:04 You can see this guy's always snacks and
21:13 things just drinks fountains of some
21:13 sort of team. I checked into my hotel,
21:16 relaxed for just a little bit, put my
21:17 stuff away, charged my phone and my
21:19 camera batteries, and now I'm just going
21:21 walking around the general vicinity of
21:23 where my
21:24 hotel is before it gets too dark. It's
21:27 going to be dark in about about a half
21:29 hour or so, dusk right now. just kind of
21:32 see what's going on in the general
21:34 vicinity of where I'm staying. There are
21:35 a lot of officers over there. I'm
21:38 noticing, check it out. You got
21:39 Pennywise here and then you got old
21:42 school Tim Curry Penny Wise over
21:45 there. Old school, new
21:55 school. I'm in Mexico. Weather feels
21:55 really nice. It It couldn't be any
21:57 better temperature- wise than it is
21:59 right now. I'm sure during the day it's
22:01 very very warm, but at dusk it feels
22:04 great. A little bit of a breeze. Very
22:07 very nice. There's a dog urinating over
22:09 there on a a pallet. Kind of food items
22:12 here. Hot
22:13 dogs, elotees, churros. I'm not going
22:18 I'm going to dive into some food a
22:19 little bit later with my trip, but not
22:20 tonight. Definitely have to come back
22:22 down over to this area during the day.
22:25 During the day. These are police
22:27 trucks. Look at this.
22:29 There's a guy selling churros. But then
22:31 all these are like police full police
22:36 vehicles at the go mart. Get some waters
22:39 and maybe some
22:40 Gatorades for my room. There's a little
22:43 information about this building. 1835 to
22:47 1900. Little monument, historical
22:51 monument. Prices. I keep in mind these
22:54 are all in pesos.
22:56 So you got $19, $21. And they all do
22:59 have a dollar sign, but that is not US
23:03 dollars. That is pesos. So 38 pesos for
23:07 that Gatorade right there. And then 28
23:10 pesos. $28 in pesos. 28 pesos for for
23:15 that one. So it's got a little
23:16 confusing. You're used to US dollars.
23:18 But as for a bag, they gave me this. I'm
23:20 not sure how much that was, but the
23:21 ghost store bag. Couple green teas and
23:24 water just to have some stuff up at my
23:26 room to stay hydrated.
23:34 There are officers everywhere. Most of
23:36 them armed just casually. They're all
23:38 just kind of hanging around. They're not
23:39 even really doing much. You're just
23:41 usually in conversation with each other.
23:44 There'll be a group of them. Like behind
23:45 me, there's three or four just sitting
23:46 by a sitting by a ledge having
23:49 conversations, fully armed. Really
23:53 beautiful out here at night. It's all
23:56 lit up.
23:58 Vendor selling things that put little
24:00 projections on the ground.
24:10 So evidently they like do something over
24:14 here. They do the they get rid of
24:17 the guess the bad spirits or something.
24:25 Very interesting. Street corn looks
24:25 really good. Also, a lady selling
24:27 lottery
24:38 tickets. Some filming going on out here.
24:40 Take a look at
24:41 this. It's a film production.
24:53 Just walking the streets of Mexico City.
24:55 Yeah, they're filming something. They
24:57 did film something out here. Or maybe
24:58 they're filming tonight. That's
25:08 cool. Yeah, they're set dressing this
25:08 whole this whole street or tearing the
25:10 set dressing down. Probably tearing it
25:12 down. Maybe setting it up. Either one.
25:34 architecture. Here's where the Here's
25:34 where the TV stars, their dressing
25:38 rooms. We'll just drive motorcycles on
25:40 the sidewalk here, too.
25:49 I was hoping I could get a hat tonight
25:49 before tomorrow begins, but I might have
25:51 to get one tomorrow. I haven't found any
25:52 hats I like. It's a dump
25:55 truck. Another cathedral
25:58 here. A lot of
26:04 motorcycles. Pretty happening down here
26:04 at night.
26:12 There's also a lot of these bicycle
26:12 taxis like that. See, there's a lot of
26:15 those around. Here comes another party
26:17 mobile. Look at this thing. It's like a
26:18 party mobile right there. This guy's got
26:20 a bunch of little puppies. Look at all
26:22 these little
26:23 dogs. Look at
26:25 that. Going for a ride. I like how they
26:28 had the officers coming in, but these
26:29 are, I guess, workers that are going to
26:31 be doing other things. They got their
26:33 safety vests on, but they're just all
26:34 piled in the back of a van. I've just
26:38 Yeah, I've never I don't think I've ever
26:39 seen anything quite like that before.
26:41 But I guess that's how they get a group
26:43 of people to one particular spot. Well,
26:45 that's going to do it for today. Thanks
26:46 for watching. I am now in Mexico in the
26:49 greater Mexico City area for an
26:52 undisclosed amount of time. Thanks for
26:54 watching. I'll see you in the next
26:55 video. Vlog is
