0:39 1875 1880 these are some old gravestones

0:43 yet another nearly forgotten

0:45 Cemetery if any of these people would

0:48 have seen a firework back then they

0:50 would have lost their mind check out

0:53 this Circle K logo that's not the normal

1:18 fascinating in that Cemetery in all

1:20 honesty this one might take the cake

1:23 naen ears was a little girl who always

1:25 wanted a playhouse and for Christmas her

1:28 parents got her one unfortunately a week

1:32 before she passed away so they built the

1:36 playhouse over her grave and years after

1:39 her passing her parents were also laid

1:41 to rest here her father is there and her

1:44 mother is

1:55 here you'll notice the date stamp

1:55 1933 and if you walk around the side and

1:59 look in the front door you will notice a

2:03 lot of dolls right

2:05 there on her tombstone that is amazing

2:08 and there's also a Christmas tree in

2:10 there and some ornaments even though it

2:13 is a little unusual I think it's pretty

2:16 awesome she got her little Playhouse

2:35 any town with the Dunkin Donuts is my

2:35 kind of town you'll notice there's a

2:37 Tiger Tail coming out of that sign that

2:39 is because we are in the home of the

2:41 Auburn Tigers and while I do not watch

2:44 college football at all anymore in the

2:47 mid to late ' 80s when I was young I

2:49 fancied myself as a bit of an Auburn fan

2:53 and I use that term very Loosely because

2:55 I only went to one game and it was right

2:59 there in in that Stadium my childhood

3:01 best friend at the time his father was

3:03 part of the alma modder here at Auburn

3:05 and had season tickets so he invited my

3:07 dad and myself to go to a football game

3:10 and as best as my recollection serves

3:12 that was the only college football game

3:15 I've ever attended it's interesting when

3:17 you're young or even when you're older

3:18 how you adapt what your friends are

3:21 interested in and you become interested

3:22 in them and that is part of the reason

3:24 that I liked the Auburn Tigers but there

3:27 was one other reason this guy right

3:38 followed his career here at Auburn and

3:40 then when he went on to the Royals to

3:42 play baseball and then the Raiders to

3:44 play football I was really into baseball

3:52 Jackson that was my guy hard to believe

3:56 ago childhood memories all right say the

4:45 truck is adorned with a face this place

4:48 looks awesome in fact right there in the

4:49 middle is a makeshift swing set it looks

4:52 like it's closed today and they have a

4:54 sign here saying that we are being

4:56 filmed right now which is weird cuz I'm

4:58 filming and they filming we're having

5:00 like a filming Extravaganza and check it

5:03 out Daisy Duke right down there this car

5:05 has been turned over on its side this

5:08 place looks pretty awesome if only it

5:11 were open remember the group The

5:25 which sat abandoned for nearly 20 years

6:02 didn't want it to be shell anymore so

6:19 pulling behind his

6:22 truck huh say hello to the world's

6:25 largest brick that coincidentally is

6:29 made completely of bricks this thing is

6:32 massive it's probably like 30 ft

6:44 tall and it's Hollow you know nothing to

6:44 see here just a gargantuan brick off the

6:48 side of the interstate Move Along who

6:51 and a huge spider this is like the Land

6:53 of the Giants that sign says keep moving

7:18 was from here so when he passed away his

7:20 body was brought back here in fact they

7:23 did the public funeral right here at the

7:26 City Auditorium and thousands of people

7:30 showed up to pay their respects and

7:32 here's a question why are the U's

7:38 for five I found a picture online of a

7:40 sheer amount of people that showed up to

7:43 say goodbye right here in the streets of

7:46 Montgomery

7:47 Alabama right in front of the auditorium

8:04 had a very difficult time finding his

8:06 final resting place if it was not for

8:08 the sign I saw pulling in when I first

8:10 got here the interesting thing about

8:12 where he is buried is there is no grass

8:14 it is all AstroTurf and the reason they

8:17 do this or did this is because way back

8:19 in the day right after the ceremony and

8:21 after the funeral people for years would

8:23 come out here and steal the grass and

8:25 the sod and the dirt anything they could

8:28 get their hands on that was at the grave

8:30 site they would take so they changed the

8:32 grass and just basically put that fake

8:35 fake green grass there instead and then

8:38 later on people would come out here

8:39 spray paint stuff destroy stuff there's

8:41 a story of a truck coming out here

8:43 putting a chain around one of the

8:45 markers and trying to steal it so then

8:48 they eventually erected another Monument

8:50 by Hank Williams Jr stating please do

8:53 not desecrate this spot pretty crazy
