0:13 good thing I got out here early so I'm

0:14 starting to sweat a little bit but I

0:16 wanted to show you this look what I

0:17 found right here on the lakefront walk

0:20 look at this it's some sort of a

0:23 shell not really sure what that is but

0:27 that's pretty awesome it probably came

0:29 out of this little Lake Region look at

0:33 that I almost want to Crunch it down but

0:35 I don't want to break it he could almost

0:37 do the intro he could this little shell

0:40 right here could almost do the daily woo

1:45 Lakefront has actually been revamped

1:47 recently I was on my 4mon road trip and

1:49 when I got back it was actually a lot

1:52 had been done to it they tore a lot of

1:53 stuff down and now they planted all

1:55 these new trees they paved all this they

1:58 put in these look at the

2:01 normally these cost like a quar to 50

2:03 cents to use even look out here in CMI

2:06 Florida they're free on the Lake Shore

2:08 they're completely free this one's

2:10 actually pretty awesome you can see way

2:14 down there whoa you can see all the way

2:17 across the lake you can see all the way

2:20 way way down there across the lake

2:23 pretty fantastic it's very sunny out

2:24 here they put my sunglasses back on but

2:26 I want to show you something that's

2:27 really cool too not only have they

2:30 revamped all this they've also revamped

2:32 a little bit of old school technology in

2:35 the way of storm drains look at this

2:37 storm drain right here I know it's an

2:38 exciting subject isn't it there's

2:40 nothing more exciting on a Wednesday

2:42 than a topic about storm drains but look

2:51 this first of all that bird right there

2:51 he's enjoying a storm

3:15 because that dumps out into the lake but

3:18 over here is the real meat and potatoes

3:22 Florida Oola County Lakefront look at

3:28 here this is the stor St drain magic

3:30 that gets all the gunk the G and all the

3:33 bad things out of the water when the

3:35 storm comes in flows right down through

3:40 there out here doing some lawn

3:42 maintenance a place doesn't look this

3:43 beautiful without constant upkeep and

3:46 care and here's the CMI Florida um

3:48 people out here working and creating

3:51 this beautiful environment that we have

3:52 here at the lakefront but here is the

3:54 sign storm water quality improvement

3:58 project goes through this little siphon

4:00 siphons out all the gunk and G and all

4:03 the crud of stuff that comes in from a

4:06 storm I don't like storms especially

4:08 when the storms are full of crud I like

4:11 crudas crudas storms don't you after

4:15 rain event so this is where all the

4:17 magic happens in case you are wondering

4:19 how sparkling and beautiful that lake is

4:22 and why it's that way it's because of

4:24 this bad boy I'm not really sure how

4:26 many of these there are along the lake

4:27 shore here but there's one for for sure

4:30 right there so if you ever had come out

4:31 to the CMI Florida Lakefront look for

4:34 that right there read that sign that

4:36 sign has a lot more information than

4:37 what I'm telling you I don't even know

4:39 what I'm talking about and honestly I

4:40 just showed you the sign hopefully you

4:42 can read that and inform me more

4:44 information about that like how does

4:46 that work does it siphon through there

4:48 and then go through there and then dump

4:49 back out some sort of pump system I'm

4:52 not really sure it doesn't matter I

4:53 don't need to know everything you don't

4:54 need to know everything but sometimes

4:56 it's good to know something that didn't

4:59 making any sense let me go

5:07 down over there is the lighthouse used

5:07 to have a walkway that went way out on

5:08 the walkway there the problem is they've

5:11 actually torn all that down over there

5:13 as well hopefully I'm imagining they're

5:15 probably going to try to complete it

5:17 before July 4th so probably another

5:19 month and a week something of that

5:21 actually not even that far just a couple

5:22 more weeks they're going to have the 4th

5:24 of July fireworks out here you'll be

5:27 able to sit on this lawn but you won't

5:29 be able to sit over there by the

5:32 lighthouse I wonder if they're going to

5:34 allow anybody to stand on this during

5:36 the firework display here go some

5:49 birds it's pretty beautiful out here

5:49 hopefully you're enjoying this day on
