0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:02 the recording of this Sunday, April
0:04 20th, 2025, Easter Sunday. It's about
0:08 1:30 p.m. Starting off over here on
0:11 Harbor Boulevard across the street from
0:14 Disneyland. I have a reservation for the
0:16 parks today. So, I'm going to go scan
0:18 in, get a coffee beforehand. I'm going
0:20 to mobile order from Starbucks at
0:22 Downtown Disney. They do not let you
0:23 mobile order inside Disneyland. So,
0:28 going to grab a
0:29 coffee first at uh almost at Disney
0:32 Springs, Downtown Disney, then go into
0:34 Disneyland, peruse around a little bit,
0:36 might park hop over to DCA, and then
0:39 just see where the day leads. I have no
0:41 real game plan. Happy Easter. As I am
0:44 filming this, I'm inviting you to join
0:46 me. Shall you? Got some vendors out
0:49 front
0:51 here in front of the sign.
0:58 You sell this stuff online too or is it
0:58 just just here? What's sure? Give
0:59 yourself a little plug. Uh Anaheim pins.
1:02 Uh we sell Croc Charms, Disney ones,
1:04 non-D Disney ones, uh pins for hats,
1:06 backpacks, lanyards. Anaheim pins. Very
1:09 cool. Little bit of everything. A little
1:11 bit of everything. They got some
1:11 Universal stuff in there. Yeah, exactly.
1:16 I'm not wearing my Crocs today, but I
1:18 usually wear Crocs. I think I got a
1:20 couple Jibbits from you last time I was
1:22 in town, if I remember right. Almost a
1:24 year ago, I think. Was it a year ago?
1:26 Wow. So, it wasn't the last time I was
1:28 in town, but it was uh it's another
1:30 previsit. I like all the horror stuff
1:33 you got here, too.
1:35 Krueger,
1:37 Pennywise, Chucky, Ghost Face, and
1:40 that's good. Got an In-N-Out Burger. All
1:44 right, going to head in
1:45 now to Disneyland.
1:49 Yeah, I was just just talking to Javier
1:52 over there and he was saying that as
1:54 long as you're on this side of the the
1:57 sign and you have a permit, you can set
1:59 up as a street vendor, but you cannot be
2:01 on this side of the
2:03 sign. Got a couple new jibbits for my
2:07 Crocs when I usually wear Crocs when I
2:10 fly on planes or if I need a day where I
2:12 don't want to have tennis shoes on, just
2:13 kind of air the feet out, make it a
2:16 little more comfortable. So, I got
2:16 In-N-Out and I got Donald right there.
2:18 Look at these beautiful
2:19 flowers painting the roses
2:26 red. Little Disney reference. All right,
2:26 that was quick and easy. Walked up and
2:28 it was pretty much it was pretty much
2:31 ready. So, go ahead and cut through
2:33 World of Disney with my piping hot
2:35 caffeinated beverage and then cut over
2:37 into the parks. And goes the Montreal
2:41 right here at the entrance to Walt's
2:42 original Magic Kingdom. Ah, Disneyland.
2:45 Elevation 138 ft, population 650
2:49 million, that sign says. I don't know
2:51 how what the tally is on that. Heading
2:54 in. It's a little later in the day. It's
2:55 about 220 right now as I'm heading down.
2:58 Easy commute considering I'm staying
3:00 right on Harbor Boulevard right across
3:01 the street. And I have an annual pass.
3:03 There are reservations available. So, I
3:05 booked one late last night for today and
3:07 then I got up this morning and got just
3:10 kind of discombobulated on what time
3:11 was. cuz the jet lag has kind of gone
3:13 away, but it's still kind of iffy on my
3:15 body. Doesn't really know what time it
3:16 is. And I realized I should probably
3:18 head over there because you cannot
3:20 cancel a reservation here at Disneyland
3:22 day of like you can at Walt Disney
3:24 World. If you make a reservation and
3:26 don't use it, you are penalized. You
3:27 only get three strikes and then you
3:29 can't show up for like a month or
3:31 something. I've never had that happen,
3:33 but if Yeah, if you weren't able to come
3:35 here for a month being a passholder,
3:36 this this is how you would feel.
3:45 tapper dance out.
3:49 Thank you very much. Now, I suppose you
3:52 don't mind me wondering what these
3:53 strange and funny looking musical
3:55 instruments are that we've been playing.
3:57 Yeah, I've been wondering what these
4:02 What are you doing? Nothing seems
4:04 killing time, though.
4:06 I'm not killing time. I'd rather explain
4:08 to these very good looking people. Hello
4:10 guy.
4:12 Hello. I'm so sorry. Would you please
4:14 get back in line and join us again? I
4:17 suppose you might be wondering what
4:18 these strange and funny instruments are
4:20 that we've been playing. Yeah, I've been
4:22 wondering what these strange and funny
4:23 looking musical instruments are that
4:24 we've been playing.
4:26 Now, what are you doing? You said trying
4:28 again. I don't think it's any funnier
4:29 the second time.
4:31 Most of these are the deacon organiz
4:40 you know you are close to
4:45 an like to show you folks just what
4:47 these things are to do. Here he is
4:50 Jimberly right here the cigar store
4:53 Indian of Main Street USA underneath the
4:57 cinema. I'm so used to Disney World
4:59 where there is a gift shop in here now.
5:01 But inside here, they still play some of
5:03 the the Mickey shorts from back in the
5:05 day. The classic Mickey shorts, which
5:09 are always cool to stop in there and
5:10 take a look at some of them. There's the
5:12 castle down at the end of Main Street
5:15 USA. So classic. So classic. Heading
5:18 right down the middle of Main Street,
5:20 USA. I think the castle's about
5:23 50% the size of the Disney World castle.
5:26 This is the OG, though. I mean, this is
5:27 this is the
5:30 original Sleeping Beauty versus
5:32 Cinderella Castles. Two totally
5:35 different franchise. Well, two totally
5:36 different films. Same same Disney
5:38 franchise, but and one thing I don't
5:40 have at WDW Matterhorn off to the side
5:43 of the castle. Actually, Cinderella's
5:46 Castle is probably about the size of the
5:48 Matter Horn in comparison. And then you
5:50 got the partner statue, Walt Mickey,
5:53 straight ahead.
6:02 So awesome. Vibes here in Disneyland are
6:02 are real. Over into Frontier Land and go
6:05 to the Frontier Land Trading Post. See
6:07 what kind of pins they have. I was at
6:08 Frontier. I was here the couple days
6:10 ago. Did a lot of Frontier New Orleans
6:13 Square stuff. I think today I'm going to
6:14 head over to Tomorrowland and do some
6:16 Tomorrowlandes stuff in that side of the
6:18 park. First, I'm going to pop in and uh
6:20 see what kind of pins they got in
6:21 Frontier Land at the Trading Post, which
6:23 is right over there under the theme
6:25 parks and resorts pins. They have
6:28 Fantasmic, which I didn't realize
6:29 Fantasmic was a theme park or resort and
6:32 hatbox. Got to see that they have they
6:34 have a Disneyland hotel pin, but no
6:36 proper straight Disneyland pens on their
6:38 own. But they do have Orange Bird. And
6:40 check it out. Straight from Epcot over
6:42 here on the West Coast from the East
6:44 Coast, you got Dapper Figment right
6:46 here. I love seeing Figment represented
6:48 on the West Coast. It's new. So, the
6:51 start, I think May 16th is the kickoff
6:53 of the Disneyland 70th, and of course,
6:55 July 17th is the official first day.
6:58 Now, I could go ahead and buy the
7:00 Disneyland 70th pins, but I think I
7:02 might wait till the celebration actually
7:04 officially kicks off. But take a look at
7:07 this. It looks like there's a counter on
7:09 there. You can actually do a little
7:10 countdown.
7:12 Okay, that's kind of neat. You can do a
7:14 countdown day by day till the 70th. Oh,
7:17 look. Here's a happy Easter pin. Here's
7:19 a There's actually a specific pin for
7:21 the day. Right there. There's the happy
7:24 Easter pen. Maybe I should get that. I
7:26 probably should get that cuz that's kind
7:28 of kind of a neat thing. It's a little
7:29 warmer today than it was the last two
7:32 days or yesterday, I should
7:35 say. Definitely would break a sweat if
7:37 you were out there on the canoe.
7:46 She should try to check the temperature.
7:46 It's kind of It's probably in the 80s,
7:49 maybe 90s. No, probably 80. All right. I
7:51 should never be a meteorologist because
7:53 it was
7:54 76, but it's sunny. I think the I think
7:57 yesterday it was like a high of 65. So
8:00 10° warmer than
8:02 yesterday. 76. Never mind. It's not 90s.
8:28 Always good to walk down Big Thunder
8:35 Trail. Going to pop over into Batu West,
8:35 Galaxy's Edge.
8:37 see what they they have here that we
8:40 don't have. I think Batu East kind of
8:42 gets the short end of the stick when it
8:44 comes
8:45 to things that go on in that land. This
8:49 is the postm's office. Rarely, if ever,
8:53 do I stand right here, take a gander at
8:55 it. The ste
8:56 theming says back in 5 minutes on the
8:59 the door there. There's even some wanted
9:01 signs.
9:03 I do like Galaxy's Edge, but I also miss
9:07 the all you can eat barbecue place back
9:09 here. The running of the
9:11 goats. What's it called? Big Thunder
9:13 Ranch that was back in
9:15 here. The all you can eat barbecue place
9:17 was great. But the running of the goats
9:19 was, man, that was the best particularly
9:21 what it was. This is like circa 2015 16.
9:25 I think it's 2017. It might have closed.
9:27 2015 16. It was prominent for the
9:30 running of the goats where they had the
9:31 goats out. It was like a petting zoo
9:33 with goats. And you could go after you
9:35 got done petting them at the end of the
9:36 night, an hour or two before
9:39 close, they would have the goats go
9:41 backstage to rest up for the evening for
9:44 the next day of
9:45 petting and the cast members and
9:48 trainers of the goats would call them
9:51 and they would run. There would be, you
9:53 know, a dozen goats would be charging
9:55 down this road. They'll make a little
9:58 small western road back in the little
10:01 area back here and they would go
10:03 backstage and people would be clapping
10:04 and cheering and, you know, getting the
10:07 goats all excited. It was called the
10:09 running of the goats. There's no more
10:11 petting zoo here anymore. Now it's just
10:13 you can pet Chewbacca. Sometimes they'll
10:15 let you pet him,
10:17 but we
10:20 hope he's not pointing to me.
10:22 What is everyone calling me out today?
10:23 We've got warning us about you. Me?
10:26 Don't cause any trouble. Me?
10:29 I think he's talking to someone else.
10:32 Yeah, he's he's not making eye contact
10:34 with me anymore. He must have been
10:35 talking to someone else but
10:44 me.
10:44 Yeah. Now he's ignoring me. The entry
10:47 points here on this coast are very, very
10:50 different. But once you're in Batu, kind
10:53 of all looks the same except at night
10:54 there's a different hue on the black
10:57 spires and the rock formations a little
10:58 bit. The way you can always tell here in
11:00 Anaheim and not Orlando is the lack of
11:03 clouds. Most of the time there's a lack
11:05 of
11:06 clouds. Yeah. Not really seeing a whole
11:09 lot of extracurricular activities going
11:12 on in
11:13 here. Oh, what is that up there? There's
11:15 a robot up there. Or droid. Well, I say
11:19 robot.
11:20 droid. That's the same thing. Droid is a
11:24 robot. That's interesting. When this
11:27 land first opened, you'd always see
11:28 Chewy.
11:29 And there's always other characters,
11:32 too, that would be up here kind of
11:33 fixing the X-wing. And you don't see
11:36 that anymore. At least on either coach,
11:38 really. There's some smoke being emitted
11:41 out of there.
11:47 Feel like so much can be done more with
11:47 this land. It isn't on both coasts. Is
11:51 that supposed to be Luke Skywalker from
11:53 Return of the Jedi? I think so. Is that
11:56 Jedi Luke right there walking? Just
11:59 walking through the crowd. He's got his
12:00 robe on.
12:18 I knew Jedi Luke was here. I seen some
12:18 pictures and videos of him just
12:20 strolling through the marketplace.
12:34 I'm kind of nervous though. It's like my
12:34 It's my hero. You don't need to feel
12:36 intimidated.
12:44 Luke, they're all right. I'm going to be
12:44 completely honest. I am not into the
12:48 Luke. Jedi Luke, Return of the Jedi,
12:52 Luke Skywalker is my all-time favorite.
12:54 Luke, my favorite Star Wars
12:57 character. 10 times above any other any
13:00 other one from the franchise and not
13:02 into the meet and greet. I don't for me
13:05 it doesn't really resemble Luke. I'm not
13:08 getting the Luke vibes. Me personally,
13:11 granted that, you know, the Luke
13:13 character meet and greet, it's not for
13:14 me. It's for probably younger generation
13:17 that probably saw the Mandalorian Luke
13:20 who was, you know, still Jedi Luke, but
13:23 when you when you see the character
13:25 walking around, for me does not give me
13:28 my hero of the Star Wars universe, Luke
13:31 Skywalker vibes. It's cool that he's
13:33 here,
13:35 but didn't I don't get I don't get super
13:37 stoked on it. That's just that's just my
13:39 personal opinion. Some people love
13:41 it. Not me so much. I understand it is
13:44 tough to pull off a face character in
13:46 the park and have it, you know, have it
13:50 fully
13:55 resemble. But that's like that's that's
13:55 the
13:56 guy. It's got to be dialed in 100%. And
13:59 in my opinion, I don't feel it is. I
14:01 know. I should see maybe if there is a
14:03 single rider for the Matterhorn cuz I'm
14:06 rolling solo today. Nach use a pun
14:09 walking out of Galaxy's Edge, but I'm
14:11 rolling solo even though I look nothing
14:13 like Harrison Ford
14:15 unfortunately. Ooh, I'll take this. He
14:17 got the moil given a little honkage
14:19 there in front of the tree obscured
14:22 Matterhorn, the
14:24 Argonaut
14:26 807. You know, there was a time back in
14:28 the day that mermaids would sit on these
14:31 rocks. Now there's a
14:33 squid, but mermaids would sit on these
14:36 rocks, entertain guests. Those days are
14:39 long gone, as are the days that the
14:43 mountain climbers on the Matterhorn
14:46 existed. They used to have real mountain
14:48 climbers climb the Matter
14:49 Horn. By gone era of
14:52 Disneyland. All right. The line for
14:54 Matter Horn, single rider line, was like
14:56 50 people deep. No exaggeration. I
14:59 walked over here to
15:00 Tomorrowland at the where the Captain
15:03 Eio Theater used to be. I think Season
15:05 of the Force is going on right now here
15:07 at Disneyland, which is basically a Star
15:08 Wars theme event. They're pumping the
15:10 Star Wars music over there off in the
15:13 distance. And I've kind of gone towards
15:15 the single rider entrance for Space
15:18 Mountain, which is Hyperspace Mountain.
15:20 And I'm not even kidding. This is the
15:23 single rider line for Hyperspace
15:26 Mountain, the Star Wars overlay. That's
15:29 the single freaking rider line that
15:32 stretches all the way out past the
15:34 restrooms, past the gift shop. I think
15:37 like 7 8 9 10 years ago, they did season
15:39 the Force and they actually had a movie
15:41 in here, a compilation of different Star
15:44 Wars films from the franchise, but
15:45 doesn't look like they're using it this
15:47 year. And to be completely honest, it's
15:49 probably quicker to wait in the 70minute
15:51 standby to get in that single rider
15:54 line. That thing is insanely long. You
15:56 love Hyperspace Mountain, though.
15:58 Definitely enjoy it. But I don't
16:00 70minute wait time. Enjoy it. It is wild
16:04 how long the wait times are. I mean, it
16:06 is a is a holiday. It's Easter Sunday
16:08 and the park is full. So, it's going to
16:11 be definitely more of a walk around and
16:13 uh just enjoy the moment kind of day
16:16 than uh standing in line by myself kind
16:18 of even the single rider lines are very
16:21 very very very lengthy. There's no
16:23 advantage to even getting in the single
16:25 rider line. Right, stopping over into
16:27 DCA. Last time I was in here, the red
16:29 trolleys were still run. It's been a
16:30 minute since I've been in Disney
16:31 California Adventure. Red trolleys are
16:33 no longer operational. One's just
16:35 sitting here though. RIP. They still
16:38 have the Roger Rabbit Eddie Valiant nod
16:40 right here. His mailbox. Eddie Valiant
16:43 is still here at Disney California
16:46 Adventure. If you ever want to see the
16:48 Eddie Valiant from Roger Rabbit mailbox,
16:49 it's up these stairs on his mailbox
16:52 right here at
16:53 2632 Vista Street. Wow, there's a
16:56 tremendous amount of scrim around the
16:58 Carth restaurant. Looks like they're
17:00 doing a little construction over there.
17:01 Giving them a little TLC, fixing it up a
17:04 little bit. Nice. Go check out the Power
17:06 Line Max popcorn bucket right there.
17:08 Probably will not be adding that one to
17:10 my collection, but we do have a pretty
17:12 decent popcorn bucket
17:19 collection. Goofy Movie, I think, is
17:20 celebrating a anniversary this year. A
17:21 big anniversary. Powerline Max. $35 for
17:26 a choice of regular popcorn or cotton
17:28 candy at time purchase. And just like
17:30 Epcot does food and wine, they are doing
17:32 the DCA food and wine at this moment.
17:35 Maybe the single rider for Radiator
17:36 Springs Racers, which is usually single
17:38 riders kind of a walk-on. Even that is
17:41 backed up 100 people deep. It's
17:44 stretching out underneath the underpass
17:46 there. So, you kind of go over there.
17:48 It's like everyone's trying the single
17:50 rider hack and it's it's pretty backed
17:52 up. So, I'm going to guess it's probably
17:54 an hour wait even for the single rider.
17:56 I was thinking maybe I'd get lucky
17:57 because usually it's a walk-on if you do
18:00 single rider, which is kind of nice.
18:01 This is test track is not running in
18:04 Florida currently. This is like a step
18:06 up from the first two versions of test
18:08 track. Really like Radiator Springs
18:10 Racers, but yeah, that's the single
18:12 rider line. That's uh that's that's
18:14 that's lengthy for single rider. That's
18:16 that's probably just as long as waiting
18:18 in the regular standby to be honest.
18:19 There they
18:21 go. Yeah. You know, I think probably
18:24 just going to head out. Maybe head up to
18:25 Buena Park, grab some fur at FU 21.
18:30 Decided not to get any food here at the
18:31 parks. Been craving some some fur for my
18:34 favorite faux fur
18:38 place, 421 from Buena. Wait times really
18:42 are something. 85 minutes for
18:51 Radiator, 45 for Spider-Man, 90 minutes
18:51 for Guardians. So, I was thinking maybe
18:52 doing a short wait time over at Monsters
18:55 Inc., but you can see the Monsters Inc.
18:57 is down. That's what that little star
19:00 is. So, no go on that one. 55 for
19:04 Grizzly River. Even
19:07 85 to go on
19:10 Soaring. It's just definitely not a day
19:12 to to knock out some
19:14 rides. 45 for Mansion. That's actually
19:17 not too bad. 40 for Big Thunder, but I
19:19 did that the other day.
19:22 70 minutes for
19:23 rise. 85 minutes. What's 85 for
19:35 Tiana's? Yeah. So,
19:35 definitely not a day to do stuff. I
19:37 mean, I've done most I've done all these
19:39 rides a bunch of times, so it's not like
19:41 I'm really have to go on anything, but
19:44 an hour and 5 minute wait for space. I
19:47 think I'm
19:49 good. Well, I popped in and walked
19:51 around and utilized my reservation
19:52 because if I didn't scan it
19:54 in, I would not I would have got a
19:57 strike. You three strikes, you're out
19:59 for a month. Probably doesn't affect me
20:01 too much because I'm only here a couple
20:03 times a year. But yeah, you know, it is
20:04 a little warm out. It's not like 90 like
20:06 I predicted it would be, but for SoCal,
20:08 it's a little warm because there's no
20:10 clouds in the sky, so the sun is
20:11 permeating down. probably feel pretty
20:13 good to go on the water
20:15 ride. But again, that's like what like
20:17 an hour
20:18 wait. Would have been good cuz I have a
20:20 hotel in a harbor. If I was to go on a
20:22 water ride and get completely soaking
20:24 wet and drenched, it wouldn't be that
20:25 big of a deal to just walk over and and
20:28 get out of the wet clothes,
20:31 but I'll be uh heading out to get some
20:33 some wayart to get some fun. I was going
20:35 to say this is the entrance. There's
20:37 that big bear. He's got his lantern and
20:40 his paddle. Oh, look at this. to doing a
20:42 little construction over here at the
20:44 little shortcut to Grand
20:45 Californiaifornian hotel and spa. Now
20:48 you have to go all the way around
20:49 through Downtown Disney. You can't sneak
20:52 in the secret entrance. Well, secret.
20:54 It's not it's not really a secret, but
20:56 you can't sneak in the entrance even if
20:57 you're staying here. That's part of the
20:59 that's one of the bonuses of staying
21:00 here and, you know, booking a DVC room
21:03 or paying the paying the money to stay
21:05 here is having this nice little
21:06 entrance. So, that's kind of a kind of a
21:08 bummer for anyone that's staying here.
21:11 Catching the Montreal as I walk by sore.
21:14 You know, I got to thinking I should
21:15 probably get a Knots pass while I'm in
21:17 Buena Park. Maybe I could do Knots
21:18 today, too. Show how busy it is there on
21:20 Easter. Truthfully, I would predict that
21:22 Knots is probably even busier than
21:24 Disneyland and DCA. I would predict that
21:26 Knots is busier cuz Knots on the
21:28 weekends is always slammed anyway. On a
21:30 holiday, it's probably next level.
21:32 You're welcome,
21:34 Disneyland. You're
21:36 welcome. Cruising along now. Buena
21:39 Park. I've
21:42 arrived. I have arrived. Dare I say my
21:46 favorite F place that I've ever
21:48 found. F2. Faux 21 located right over
21:53 here in this
21:59 plaza. Zion Market over there. Home
21:59 shopping. Moon
22:01 Beach Grill and Restaurant. Tofu House
22:04 next to that. And then
22:07 Faux 21. And you can pretty much count
22:10 on me getting the same thing every time
22:12 I'm here. Every time I'm in town, if I'm
22:15 in Orange County, when I lived here, I
22:16 ate here once, twice a week. Even when I
22:20 lived up in Hollywood, I would come down
22:21 here, especially for before going to
22:22 Knots or Disney. Haunt season
22:26 especially I would eat here. But still a
22:29 few times a year when I'm in town, I
22:30 will I'll pop inside FO2 and I always
22:32 get the same thing. I get fogga, which
22:34 is chicken, and then I also get spring
22:36 rolls. So, I get thinly sliced chicken
22:40 and a delicious broth, which I've never
22:42 found the equal. I wish there was a
22:44 place close to Celebration that had the
22:46 same kind of stuff, but I haven't found
22:48 a a localized to Florida near
22:50 Celebration good place that equals F21
22:53 in
22:55 Buark. It's like my comfort food. I
22:58 swear whenever I'm in Orange County or
23:01 LA, this this is my comfort food spot.
23:10 That was amazing. That might be my
23:10 number one comfort
23:11 food. There's a lot of foods I really
23:13 enjoy, but I think my biggest comfort
23:16 food be a good
23:19 delicious
23:20 brothy bowl of
23:23 fun. Unnecessary noise, motor racing,
23:26 vehicle cruising. This is a word I use a
23:28 lot and it is a real word.
23:36 congregating are not allowed outside FO2
23:36 according to that sign. Thumbs up 421. I
23:40 love it. Not Berry Farm, the friendliest
23:44 place in the West. Parking was $35. Now,
23:47 they do not have annual passes here.
23:48 They only have season passes. So, they
23:51 expire at New Year's every year. And I
23:53 have not been here since Halloween
23:55 Haunt, since Scary Farm. So, I need to
23:57 renew my pass. But because I don't have
23:58 a pass, got to pay to park. Evidently, I
24:01 can take my receipt for the 35 and apply
24:03 that to the price of a season pass. Not
24:06 an annual pass, a season pass. So, I'll
24:09 see if that works. Boenberry Festival is
24:11 going on right now, just like food and
24:12 wine. It's happening at DCA. Probably
24:15 will not be eating anything from
24:16 Boenberry Festival cuz I just chowed
24:18 down on some delicious
24:20 soup. But I have the pass. I could
24:22 always pop back in another day while I'm
24:24 here
24:25 and and do a do a Boenberry episode. I
24:29 might not even get on any attractions or
24:31 rides either because it's probably going
24:32 to be really really busy. But just want
24:33 to pop in and get my season my SP, not
24:36 my AP, my SP season pass. I can hear and
24:38 now see Ghost Rider climbing up there.
24:42 Yeah, in all honesty, I probably
24:45 need I mean going on coming on a weekend
24:47 of the theme parks here in SoCal, you're
24:48 not gonna get a lot done. So, sometime
24:51 during the weekdays upcoming, I need to
24:54 return back to Disneyland and get some
24:56 uh DCA rides in and then I need to
24:58 return to Knots another day and do some
25:00 knots. Knots Berry Farm. So, that that
25:03 might be happening. Spoiler alert. It
25:04 could very It's a possibility. Uh there
25:06 he is. My old friend, the big bear right
25:09 here. During haunt season, he always has
25:11 a witch hat on, but right now he's not
25:14 feeling very witchy. Oh, look. They have
25:16 all the Boenberry stuff out. I mean,
25:17 they always have Boenberry stuff out,
25:19 but they have more Boenberry stuff out
25:20 now because it is part of the
25:23 festival that's going on. Here's even a
25:25 full
25:27 Boenberry Snoopy right here. No way.
25:30 10year anniversary of Boenberry. So,
25:32 when I moved here in 2015 was the first
25:34 Boenberry Festival. Holy cow. That's a
25:37 historic occasion. I've just been
25:38 harping on the fact that it's like 10
25:40 years since I first moved to SoCal and
25:44 that was the start of Boenberry
25:45 Festival. What are the What a weird
25:48 weird coincidence.
25:51 Were you going to wear one of these
25:52 shirts now or
25:59 love that they have the
25:59 Caddyywampus from over in the ghost town
26:02 t-shirt. That's nice, too. And they have
26:05 this little uh little donkey down here.
26:09 Official Knottberry Farm donkey. If
26:12 memory serves correct, you get the
26:14 season passes over here at the exit
26:17 without going in. Just walk into the
26:18 side of this little information booth
26:20 here. I completed that was relatively
26:22 easy with the $35 discount and the
26:25 parking added on and can come in here
26:28 every day until New Year's Eve. $195 was
26:31 my total out the door. And I'm now going
26:33 to head out the door and into the park.
26:37 If you do the math, I think that's about
26:39 17th of the price of a Disneyland annual
26:41 pass with parking. I think it's like
26:43 1,600 for Disneyland, 195 with parking
26:46 for not. Coming in hot. Coming in
26:51 hot. Snoopy used to be on a surfboard
26:54 right here with Woodstock, but he's been
26:57 gone for like a year or so. I wonder
26:59 what happened. I guess he just surfed
27:01 away. The more I think about it, who
27:04 know? I'm not sure if I'm going to get
27:05 back in the knots. while I'm here on
27:07 this trip. But it's good to have the
27:08 pass. It's good to have the pass either
27:10 way. It is Bo and Berry Festival. Food,
27:15 fun, music. Oh, I think he's I think
27:18 he's awake this time. You awake this
27:20 time. Sad I say what now? Last couple
27:22 times you've been snoozing. Been on a
27:24 little little nap break. Yeah. Yeah, I I
27:26 am awake and ready to go. you. I mean,
27:29 especially today, I had to take a little
27:31 15-minute nap cuz
27:32 woo, I was full of all them Easter eggs.
27:36 Oh, you ate some Easter eggs. Oh, at
27:37 least that's what I hope they were.
27:39 Okay. It must How's the smell in there?
27:41 How's the smell in there? Well, I tell
27:43 you this much. I've been laying eggs all
27:44 day. You know, you look very photogenic
27:47 right now with that sun coming through
27:48 the other the other side window. It's
27:50 like, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I I I could be
27:52 in I can be Life magazine or Natural
27:54 Geographic right now. It could be. If I
27:56 see him around, I'll tell them to come
27:57 take a photo of you. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
27:58 Yeah. Tell them. Tell them I am prime at
28:00 GQ men, too. Tell them I am prime. Prime
28:04 to be photographed. Okay. How goes the
28:06 jailbreaking uh plans. Oh, you know
28:08 what? I'm I'm putting them aside for
28:10 just today, taking Sunday off, but I've
28:12 got some really interesting plans coming
28:14 up. It's Easter. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
28:16 It's Easter, so I'm just taking a break
28:18 for today. But come Monday, tomorrow. I
28:21 want I got a complex plan of levers and
28:23 pulleys ready. Sounds good. Sad. It's
28:26 always good to see you. It's always good
28:27 to see you, too. All right, take care.
28:29 I'll talk to you. Well, I say I'll see
28:30 you next time, but you're escaping
28:32 tomorrow. So, well, well, hopefully I'm
28:33 escaping tomorrow. If you see me again
28:35 in here, that means it did not work. All
28:37 right, sounds good. See you Saturday.
28:38 Happy Easter. Happy Easter, man.
28:42 And Boen Berry Festival is no exception.
28:46 A boen berry is a cross between a
28:47 raspberry, blackberry, and a Logan
28:49 berry. They are famously juicy and
28:52 large in size.
29:00 Wonder what the wait time on the log
29:00 ride is. Love the Knots Timber Mountain
29:04 log
29:05 ride. Again,
29:08 weekday, no one really at Knots, no pun
29:11 intended, weekdays like a ghost town.
29:13 Weekends a beehive of activity. I'll be
29:17 honest. I imagine the weight times are
29:18 probably one of what they would be on a
29:21 weekday or onetenth of what they would
29:23 be on a weekend on a
29:26 weekday. I'll check it out and see. You
29:28 never know. Maybe maybe I'll get lucky.
29:30 Much as I love Timber Mountain Log, I am
29:35 going to pass on 75. Yeah, that's a long
29:39 stretch. Long line. Long line. That
29:42 looks like he's oiling up the He's
29:44 oiling something up right there. Got the
29:46 oil can sticking it down in there.
29:49 Oiling
29:50 up the wheels, I'm
29:57 guessing. He's taking that oil can. So,
29:57 he's going to shove the oil can in
29:59 there. Spit a little little oil out. Get
30:03 it all all ready to go. Yeah, it's on
30:06 wheels or the gears for the
30:09 wheels, I should say.
30:17 Get it all smooth so it rides good. The
30:17 old number 41, the Rio Grand Southern
30:27 Railroad. Nice train.
30:27 You're the one
30:35 who
30:47 godamn. Look at this guy. Really cool.
30:47 Oh, he's got some gold. Look at this.
30:49 You got You found you a nugget of gold
30:55 right there. He's got a nugget of gold.
30:55 We got a little little corn cob pipe
30:58 right there.
31:06 I know where we got that nugget of gold.
31:06 I think I'm going to pop over inside the
31:08 museum. They always got some cool little
31:11 artifacts inside the museum in here. A
31:13 lot of people don't even realize there
31:14 is a knots
31:15 museum over in this area. The old
31:19 original book here that says welcome to
31:21 Ghost Town signed by Walter KN right
31:23 there. used to be out in the park
31:26 elsewhere, but they moved it in here
31:27 many years ago. There's Jesse. Jesse
31:29 James right there. Calamity Jane.
31:32 There's Wild Bill as well. Love this
31:35 area of Knots. I love they have all
31:37 these artifacts in here with the old
31:39 record players. And they have this
31:41 little miniature version here of a
31:43 western cow town. Variety of horseshoes.
31:46 The old 999 Empire State Express right
31:50 there. Different degrees of barb wire.
31:53 Kind of reminds me of the barb wire
31:54 salesman from part three of Back to the
31:57 Future. I saw Jimberly earlier. Here's
31:59 another cigar store in India where they
32:01 would use these to promote to sell
32:04 cigars. You can see right there are the
32:06 cigars in hand to promote. They put
32:07 outside of shops that would sell sell
32:11 cigars. It's a 19 or 1853
32:15 fire engineer.
32:23 What is this?
32:23 It was better than France England in the
32:25 United States. At one time, more money
32:28 to change hands playing this card game
32:30 than all other card games combined.
32:31 Really, because the odds are quite even.
32:33 So, more people played it. But because
32:35 the odds are quite even, it didn't take
32:36 much for the game to cheat to get the
32:38 upper hand. So, the house had to cheat
32:39 to maintain the upper hand. It'd be a
32:41 cheaters game. The last game was played
32:43 1985 in Reno, Nevada.
32:46 Bucking the tiger. Yes. Ever seen the
32:49 movie Tombstone? I have. This is the
32:51 game right. No kidding. All right. Ghost
32:54 Town is definitely my favorite area of
32:57 Knots. Without a doubt, I love Ghost
33:15 Town.
33:28 Imagine having this outside your house.
33:31 Little plant holder. He's holding a
33:32 plant there. Bigfoot. Three grand for
33:35 this. Handcarve. Something interesting.
33:37 The Boys and Bears here at NAS debuted
33:39 in 34. Same year Mrs. Cordelia served
33:42 her first famous fried chicken dinner.
33:46 I think I might get a nice delicious
33:48 treat to round out the day. Maybe a a
33:50 boen berry treat. There is no one in
33:53 here. This is where Santa was during the
33:55 You know what? I was here for the
33:57 holidays. I was here for the holiday. I
33:58 was here for haunt and I was here for
34:00 Christmas. I'll take that back. I was
34:02 here for Merry Farm. All right, man. I
34:04 appreciate it. Thank you. Have a great
34:05 day. This is the boenberry cucumber and
34:07 lemonade punch. And I also want bread
34:10 pudding with boenberry and boenberry
34:11 cream cheese and drizzle. That is a
34:14 That's a goodiz portion right there. Not
34:16 bad for both of these. I am really kind
34:18 of blown away by the portion size on
34:19 this. Look at this thing. This thing has
34:22 got some uh got some weight to
34:25 it.
34:26 Right. I was thinking it was going to be
34:28 like a sample size. Almost like when you
34:30 go to Epcot Food and Wine, they you pay
34:33 like 12 bucks for a little thing and
34:34 it's like two nibbles. This thing's like
34:37 no joke. This thing is got some heo to
34:40 it. Look at that shake. Oh, I think the
34:43 Pony Express is
34:55 it. That's the precursor to
34:55 Tron. Same ride vehicle as
34:58 Sean, but way before. Oh my gosh, that's
35:00 good.
35:06 Oh wow, that is tasty.
35:14 Everything is boen berry. The drink's
35:14 pretty good, too. It's like cucumber
35:17 lemonade, but boenberry flavor, which is
35:20 refreshing, but also very boenberry.
35:28 Our store Indian overload. There's
35:30 another one.
35:38 He's got a a batch of them. One there.
35:38 Another
35:41 uh half a dozen, two dozen in the hand
35:44 there. We're here in the gift shop. I
35:45 always love this
35:46 timeline of Knots. Here's the Knots
35:49 family. Walter and Cordelia and all
35:52 their
35:58 children. Park's been around a long
35:58 time,
36:00 over a hundred years.
36:02 Pre-
36:15 Always always a pleasure coming in here.
36:15 Always try to get a yearly
36:17 pass whenever I can just because it's
36:20 easy to just stop in and have a good day
36:22 whenever you're at Knots.
36:41 You're welcome. Knots. You're welcome.
36:41 That's going to do it for today. Thanks
36:42 for watching. I'll see you in the next
36:45 video.
36:46 Vlog. Happy
36:48 Easter. Vlog is a
