0:02 today's adventure brings us to Hollywood

0:05 Boulevard shortly I'm gonna start here

0:07 in the corner of sunset and Vine make my

0:10 way up take a left and hike more or less

0:13 a mile or so from Hollywood and Vine

0:17 down to Hollywood and Highland and just

0:19 see what has changed in a month since

0:22 the last time I did one of these updates

0:29 the first thing I'm noticing is that

0:31 they have torn down the building for the

0:34 lego movie to pop up that was right over

0:38 there on the corner it's been erased

0:40 existence this area is always changing

0:43 they don't last too long and you never

0:45 know what's gonna no pun intended pop up

0:49 next in this section I'll check it out

0:52 there's still some pieces they haven't

0:53 quite put away up with the Academy

0:56 Awards just around the corner next

0:58 weekend in fact a lot of road closures

1:02 probably going to see quite a bit of

1:04 construction for the Oscars as we get a

1:08 little closer to where they're happening

1:15 this is pretty cool reminds me of a

1:15 1950s or 1960s B film something called

1:21 the invaders

1:23 next to these scum and villainy cantina

1:26 whatever was in this particular building

1:29 has closed got the doors all chained up

1:33 and everything it was something called

1:35 rich and rotten inside some old school

1:42 architecture this was once the antenna

1:48 but not anymore you can always get a

1:50 good shot of that iconic sign here where

1:53 the former building has been bulldozed

1:55 is zoom in just a little bit you can see

2:04 mountain something they started doing

2:09 electrical boxes letting you know where

2:12 certain celebrities were on the Walk of

2:17 26 stars away it's a pretty neat idea if

3:06 celebrities walk the red carpet in the

3:09 general vicinity my plan was as i zoom

3:13 in to go right over there and look down

3:16 as a much better view but they've

3:17 already even almost a week out it's got

3:21 its stanchion dand blocked off where you

3:23 cannot go all the way over there but

3:25 I'll try to get as close as I can check

3:27 it out there's a trolley old-school

3:29 trolley right there it doesn't run on

3:32 it runs on normal tires but you can see

3:35 it pulling over there to let some

3:37 tourists off

3:39 way up there there is a protective

3:41 barricade for the elements you don't

3:44 want the rain dampening the event as

3:48 well as another large tarp with the

3:52 Roosevelt Hotel sign in the background

3:58 just think this is one of the last days

4:05 section of the thoroughfare and the day

4:08 of the event maybe even a couple days

4:10 before pedestrians will not even be

4:12 allowed to walk around when it's taking

5:00 forced to take stairs they're making us

5:05 walls are still up I'm also noticing

5:10 section maybe a new tiny store on the

5:13 horizon perhaps okay I found the way

5:27 had been here for a while

5:28 if it had it completely eluded me until

5:32 now check it out though we got the sign

5:43 their own little Walk of Fame stars look

5:49 nonetheless it is safe to say they are
