0:38 sunday farmers not a flea market

0:42 a farmer and local vendors

0:46 market i'm inviting you to join me i'm

0:48 gonna just kind of peruse around this

0:50 neighborhood and just

0:51 maybe showcase some of the local vendors

0:54 stopped at the atm

0:56 got a handful of cash in case places

0:59 don't accept cars and

1:01 just see what can be seen taste what can

1:04 be tasted and

1:06 enjoy the sights the sounds and the

1:08 wonderful

1:10 smells well no smells of celebration

1:16 of a sunday shall you now on occasion i

1:20 will frequent that starbucks for a

1:22 piping hot warm caffeinated beverage but

1:25 i think i'm going to go with a more

1:27 independent

1:29 establishment today which i have but

1:31 just kind of mix it up you can see they

1:33 have the

1:34 the street closed signs here do not park

1:36 here you'll be

1:37 you'll be towed and there's probably

1:41 a couple hundred vendor booths

1:44 stretches all along the lake shore over

1:47 that way

1:48 and up market street that direction

1:56 and they have a little stand here that

1:56 says something is

1:57 free now this could be the local news

2:00 gazette no you know what it is

2:02 they are complimentary hand sanitizers

2:06 and facial coverings yeah take a look

2:11 yeah look at this they have the they got

2:13 those in there in case you need one

2:15 i have one on personally you know to do

2:23 this is a general layout of the land

2:25 that lake that i was showing is

2:27 lake ryan hard there and

2:30 that's the the main road which would be

2:34 water street well water street is up

2:35 here market street which is the the

2:38 the tiny one block which reminds me of

2:40 main street usa but it has expanded

2:43 establishment back in 1994 to this

2:47 expansive probably like maybe two

2:50 don't quote me on this maybe two to

2:52 three miles from one end

2:54 to the other of celebration proper

2:57 and you can see there is quite a few

2:59 people out here over at the produce

3:01 stand over there

3:02 getting their vegetables and their

3:04 fruits wow check that out

3:06 old town is promoting their farmers

3:08 market which happens every wednesday

3:11 i will have to keep that in mind for

3:13 future reference on a midweek

3:16 if i'm in the mood for a farmer's market

3:18 down there on the corner is the

3:19 well the cornerstone market where i have

3:22 got my coffee

3:23 and you can't really see too many of the

3:25 well let's take a look at the coffee

3:27 here

3:27 comes in a non-descript little cardboard

3:31 holder i don't know what that noise just

3:33 was you can't really get a too good of a

3:35 view of all the vendors from this

3:36 section but

3:37 getting a little bird's eye up on the

3:39 stairwell i like this one here on the

3:41 far end

3:42 they take pineapples cut the pineapple

3:44 open

3:45 and serve the juice right in it

3:49 pretty good idea now looking down market

3:51 street from

3:52 market square which kind of reminds me

3:55 of the orange circle in california so

3:57 the circle section is a little smaller

3:59 and the traffic

4:00 well right now there's no traffic

4:01 because the road is blocked but the

4:03 traffic circle

4:04 is not quite as vast but it does go

4:07 around a very

4:08 unique looking post office over there a

4:11 lot of unique architecture

4:12 out here but they both have a similar

4:14 similar vibe maybe that's why i'm drawn

4:16 to both of them

4:18 i just love this look at the amounts

4:22 of people that are here locals some

4:24 tourists

4:26 and all the vendors there's a heck of a

4:28 lot goes all the way down

4:30 to the lakefront they have the

4:32 appropriate trash cans out so you can

4:33 discard of your

4:35 of your trash now there's a sign over

4:37 here that says community events streets

4:39 close

4:40 starting saturday night at 10 p.m i have

4:42 a little washboard here

4:44 stating stating the obvious

4:49 this is looking the opposite way up

4:52 market street there's a slight little

4:54 incline here during christmas time they

4:56 do a neat thing where they have snow

4:57 which is soap but it's made to look like

5:01 snow

5:02 they do it right here on this very road

5:04 it's not just food out here either

5:05 people are they have their

5:07 their garments their different wares

5:11 and a lot of free samples as well i'm

5:14 also noticing there's a lot of

5:15 sauces like hot sauces and barbecue

5:18 sauces and things

5:18 like that things that you could put on

5:20 food

5:22 noticing that is a big part of

5:25 things that are out here the fruit stand

5:29 over here yeah great oh there's some

5:31 cool

5:32 full pineapples right there look at that

5:34 some tangerines

5:36 some grapefruit yeah there's a quite a

5:39 line lined up

5:40 there you go pink grapefruit there you

5:42 know what i've also noticed in the last

5:44 week or so well a little over a week i

5:46 have been going on the app for the

5:48 ride well they're like a ride vehicle a

5:50 little little scooters

5:52 which are usually out here there's

5:54 usually some over on that end

5:56 of the pavement and there's usually a

5:58 baker's dozen or close to it in this

6:01 stretching along i cannot find any

6:04 scooters whatsoever in town at all

6:08 in the last week so i'm thinking maybe

6:12 erased from existence outlawed which

6:15 you know they were they were very

6:17 prevalent they may have gotten away

6:21 possible so i'm glad i was able to to

6:25 brand was newt scooters and correlation

6:29 oh they have what they got over there

6:30 they got some kind of a

6:32 open i don't know what that is

6:34 oh it's mango it's a mango drink station

8:45 yeah i don't know how spicy they are

8:48 i do like i do like pickled okra but i

8:57 garlic lovers maybe i'll get garlic

9:03 we use fresh dill a little bit of garlic

9:13 it depends the spicy dill is to me as a

10:10 a lot of creativity a lot of local

10:10 you know local artists and artists

10:12 aren't always you know with a canvas and

10:15 sometimes it's with food another

10:16 creative endeavors

10:18 now is it a salad dressing or is it just

10:20 like a salad that you would eat

10:22 it's a salad olive salad so it's known

10:23 for the youthful sandwich

10:25 right over here oh you put it on the

10:26 sandwich yeah it's known for that but

10:28 you can use it in so many different

10:29 things like

10:30 if you make your own sandwiches you can

10:32 put it i do tuna fish and put it on

10:33 there pizza is a big one that people use

10:35 it on

10:36 i personally cook with it so if i make

10:38 rice beans

10:39 chicken soup beets or anything like that

10:41 i go ahead and put it on there okay

10:43 cook it with it but i can put that on

10:45 like in into mix it in the tuna fish and

10:47 then put it on a sandwich yeah but what

10:48 i do is i

10:49 i just sprinkle it on top i don't

10:50 actually mix it with the tuna okay

10:52 and how much is the jar of it it's 12

10:54 for the 16 ounce or 17 for the 32 so 5

10:57 more get double the amount okay it is

11:00 there's no sugars or preservatives so if

11:01 you don't refrigerate it it'll last you

11:03 a month if you do

11:04 up to a year so you'll have that length

13:49 street so we'll start walking back that

13:51 direction and see if there's anything i

13:53 you know when i originally thought about

13:54 getting a place out here in central

13:57 i contemplated an apartment complex

14:00 something of that nature but i thought i

14:01 needed to be near a downtown

14:03 and i thought about going back to

14:04 downtown saint cloud downtown kissimmee

14:07 even contemplated

14:08 downtown orlando and then it kind of hit

14:10 me what about celebration i think i made

14:12 the right choice

14:13 this is a this is a nice neighborhood i

14:15 think i made the right choice all those

14:17 other ones would have been again too

14:18 but just for me personally to be able to

14:21 wander around a little downtown section

14:23 without having to drive too far where in

14:26 an apartment complex especially around

14:28 the

14:28 resort area you know it's kind of

14:30 all-inclusive

14:31 and you wouldn't have something like

14:33 this too much every once in a while but

14:34 rarely

14:35 this could be seen in an apartment

14:36 complex so downtown for me

14:38 is kind of the way to go someone just

14:41 alerted me that there is a

14:42 gator they said they've seen quite a few

14:44 gators here in this lake

14:46 over there past that duck it has kind of

14:49 wet well speaking of duck it's went

14:50 under the water so the gator

14:52 has ducked under the water i was out

14:54 here the other day kind of wandering

14:55 around not even filming

14:57 just enjoying the evening and i did see

14:59 a gator on the other side of this lake

15:01 so they're in here

15:02 they are definitely in here

15:06 kind of adds to the ambiance a little

15:08 coffee stand here and i've already had

15:09 my my coffee

15:10 from the cornerstone but they have

15:12 k-cups and i do have a k-cup machine

17:53 for this week this will not be a weekly

17:56 thing by any means but if i happen to be

18:04 the old favorites which to me they're

18:08 because but yeah i got i should maybe

18:12 there's a lot really glad he gave me

18:23 yeah there's a lot of people down here i

18:23 really like the kind of a neat little

18:26 people over here on the corner are

18:28 drinking those pineapples they cut the

18:30 and they put the juice right in

18:34 the dang pineapple yes

18:37 i almost forgot what all i purchased

18:39 there is the

18:41 pistachio cake which i put in the same

18:45 same bag as the italian olive salad they

18:49 gave me

18:50 a couple crackers there that i could

18:52 utilize part of the

18:54 sample and then they double bagged which

18:56 makes sense because this is

18:58 very very heavy these two glass bottles

19:01 glass containers of the pickles there's

19:04 some peppers

19:06 down in there and let's see that i think

19:09 i've

19:09 extinguished everything that's in there

19:13 and then i got of course

19:14 all the different jerkies i got the

19:17 guacamole here

19:19 i got the chips and then in this bag

19:23 what

19:29 down in here oh here's the breads i got

19:29 the two breads

19:31 that sound by the way is the fountain

19:33 here at market square

19:35 so i spent more than i would have if i

19:37 would have just gone to the grocery

19:38 store

19:39 by a long shot but you know what it's

19:41 all part of the experience

19:42 and you know you help support local folk

19:47 and those with a creative endeavor and

19:49 you know

19:50 it's for the neighborhood and the kind

19:52 of local economy i guess you could say

19:54 in a roundabout way

19:55 i mean it's not like it's got not making

19:56 a huge difference but it is helping

19:58 helping a little bit and gives me

19:59 something to do and you know keeps me

20:01 from going out and having to go too far

20:03 of a commute to

20:05 to do something else and it's an

20:06 enjoyable relaxing

20:08 day and it gives me some snacks snacks

20:13 yeah this is good i'm gonna do more

20:16 more kind of like home-grown type stuff

20:19 maybe not just here but just in general
