Inside Air Force One & Titanic Exhibit at Ronald Reagan Library

0:16 Library at the top of this peak not only

0:20 sits Air Force One inside its doors but

0:23 also a temporary exhibit soon to be

0:26 ending of some of the artifacts from

0:30 Titanic and some of the screen-used

0:33 items from the James Cameron feature

0:36 film on the subject this should be fun

0:40 this is the very Bible that at his

0:43 inauguration he placed his left hand on

0:45 and swore to uphold the Constitution

0:48 behind this glass case it's that very

0:52 Bible it belonged to his mother a while

0:54 back I visited his childhood home in

0:56 Dixon Illinois and I stood at that

7:58 recreation of the Berlin Wall equipped

8:10 up top quite a bit of barbed wire and

8:14 this guard tower you have to wonder what

8:21 Gorbachev and yes they have even

8:33 really I'm on the horse even though it's

8:37 it's a fake horse but this scale model

9:43 James Cameron film was not the only

9:45 movie to depict the tragedy in fact this

9:50 dress was worn by Debbie Reynolds in the

9:53 movie the unsinkable this shows what the

9:57 debris field was like thousands of items

10:01 from the ship were cast along the ocean

10:05 floor plates chairs even a child's doll

10:11 head was found they've done a very good

10:13 job recreating what the sea would be

10:15 like the light effects shimmering down

10:18 and I don't think these are actual

10:21 pieces from the Titanic just recreations

10:26 nonetheless

10:28 pretty incredible there it is at least

10:31 scale model version

10:41 this wooden replica was made in 1970 the

10:41 submergible that you see along the deck

10:43 there they nicknamed it Alvin

10:45 but look at all the build up the ocean

10:48 build up all on the sides of the ship

10:51 the titanium pressure sphere from inside

10:54 Alvin is down here and the top part as

11:00 you see in this photo that's right here

11:05 the top of the submergible an even

11:09 larger model replica pretty incredible

11:20 this full-size prop was seen in the

11:23 control room between every member from

11:26 later in the movie when the captain who

11:28 was going down with the ship the water

11:30 rushed in those front window but they

11:33 also had smaller versions so they could

11:36 film them on a much smaller scale and by

11:39 blowing up the screen would make it look

11:41 very realistic he would never know the

11:43 difference between a full-size ship and

11:45 a miniature look at the size of that

11:49 chair it's tiny sending out an SOS

11:52 signal on the Telegraph

11:56 is way before text messaging and phone

11:58 calls you had to send out a call for a

12:02 distress by typing on that little

12:04 contraption there some signage screen

12:11 used as well as the violin artwork and

12:16 handcuffs that ROS used this axe to

13:38 strapped to his side once the news of

13:40 the wreck got out there were a lot of

13:41 organizations taking donations for the

13:45 family members of those that were lost

13:48 this is one of the banners used by one

13:50 of those companies the bracket on the

13:52 left and the wooden pieces are from the

13:56 grand staircase

14:24 on the museum ground that's gonna do it

14:29 pass not only to this location but to a

14:33 dozen other presidential museum slash

14:37 libraries across the country especially

14:40 considering as much as I travel and a

14:43 lot of the special events because the

14:45 locations have any of these states and

14:48 cities I can gain access to so that will

14:50 come in handy in the future I do a wide

14:53 variety of content on the platform of

14:55 YouTube two channels this one but I also

14:57 have a main channel YouTube / Adam the

15:01 whoo where you can find more ambitious

15:03 arduous tasks that take a while to

15:06 produce film at it travel

15:09 I will save all those for that channel

15:12 this channel which used to be an

15:14 everyday vlog for over five years I'm

15:17 not doing daily anymore but I have

15:19 decided to start throwing content back
