0:36 very tight quarters in here but it gets
0:36 the job
0:39 done of course the fact that I'm 6' 3 in
0:44 tall doesn't really give you a lot of
0:47 Elbow Room it appears I wasn't the only
0:49 one with the same idea to use this
0:52 parking
0:53 lot as a camping spot last night heck
0:57 yeah last night I went to brush my teeth
0:59 and instead of using the regular Colgate
1:02 I went for the travel size and to my
1:05 dismay it was not toothpaste luckily I
1:10 stopped myself before putting it on my
1:13 teeth it looks like I have some
1:15 uninvited guests
1:16 along the window sill here how you guys
1:28 doing welcome everyone Adam the woo here
1:28 starting off the day in
1:30 Brunswick
1:37 Georgia it's my second channel daily
1:37 Vlog channel it's the daily
1:39 woo on July 2nd
1:44 1898 this pot on this pedestal held the
1:51 first Brunswick
1:54 stew right inside there was the tasty
1:58 morsels of good
2:00 in a delicious concoction soup well stew
2:05 is not really a soup it's kind of like
2:06 more of a hearty it's a hearty soup but
2:09 nonetheless it is documented with this
2:12 inscription in the
2:16 concrete directly below man I love I
2:20 love to eat so this is pretty awesome
2:22 it's very windy out here as can be told
2:24 not only by the flag waving in the
2:26 breeze but also the clouds going by at a
2:28 very rapid pace
2:30 that Lighthouse is awesome but look
2:33 what's next to it a pirate ship do you
2:36 think when the schwas bucklers who own
2:38 this seaf fairing vessel retire they'll
2:40 change the name of this to the pacemaker
2:43 the sign over there says it's privately
2:45 owned wonder if the guy looks anything
2:47 like Johnny Depp I like to go up inside
2:50 the tower there the door here is
2:53 accessible the one leading up top is
2:55 locked however whoa Captain blue ear was
3:00 here if you see a gentleman running
3:02 around with an ear low painted blue
3:05 maybe he can let me up there there's a
3:07 lot of magnificent trees in this area of
3:10 town but the one up here in the middle
3:14 of the
3:15 road is the stuff that Legends are made
3:19 of given the name lovers Oak it's said
3:24 to be
3:25 900 years old
3:28 impressive most impressive in 1987 the
3:32 national arborist Association designated
3:35 this tree significant because it was
3:38 here in the bicentennial year having
3:41 lived at the time of the signing of the
3:45 Constitution and according to the
3:48 stories centuries even before that so
3:51 large in fact that you have to almost go
3:54 around it you have to purposefully drive
3:57 around it and at the base just below the
4:01 branches is this section full of I guess
4:04 you could call these knots these little
4:08 sections almost like little popping up
4:10 protruding out of the ground look at
4:13 this look at all these knots and because
4:16 of the name of this Oak I wonder if
4:20 anyone ever got
4:23 naughty up in see what I did there
4:26 naughty wow this is interesting if you
4:28 look very closely there there is a face
4:30 here you can see the eyes the nose and
4:33 even the mouth stay away from it it
4:35 might make out with you it's a little
4:38 bit of a stretch but the name of the
4:40 tree
4:42 kissing I don't know it didn't
4:53 work so much traffic out there hard to
4:53 get any privacy around these parts back
4:55 on 95 north now just cruising along at a
4:57 halfway decent pace it hit the gas and
5:00 at this engine wide open no I don't want
5:03 to go too fast because the gas mile lety
5:07 take the we no because if I do that
5:10 we're going to get like 2 miles per
5:11 gallon let me drive creti leave me alone
5:14 just to drive him crazy I got off the
5:15 interstate and on the back roads I'm in
5:17 Darion now this reminds me of mopi
5:21 Florida where Doc Hollywood was filmed
5:24 very similar I've arrived at Fort King
5:27 George State Historic Site and this is a
5:31 scale model of what the property looks
5:33 like built along the altamaha river it
5:36 is the oldest English fort on the
5:39 Georgia coast ruins of the Old Sawmill
5:42 and the way they would cut the wood they
5:44 would have two guys standing on the top
5:47 and bottom of this the guy on the bottom
5:52 would wear a large brim hat to keep the
5:55 shavings from getting in his face you
5:58 could see the actual Fort there off in
6:00 the distance built in
6:02 1721 by Colonel John Barnwell of South
6:06 Carolina 140 soldiers and officers died
6:10 none of them because of a battle wound
6:13 however the years brought many hardships
6:16 such as disease
6:18 malnutrition heat enemy threats causing
6:22 this place to be
6:24 abandoned 1727 inside the main building
6:27 you can see the spots for the cannons
6:30 but there's also holes in the wall just
6:33 about at eye level for the
6:36 muskets plenty of room to stick the
6:39 weapons through and fire at the enemy if
6:42 they started to approach three stories
6:45 tall it was also used for
6:48 storage and if you take a look out of
6:51 this
6:52 window you can see some of the
6:55 protection along the shoreline of the
6:59 river
7:00 and on the opposite side you can see the
7:02 embankment that has been created as well
7:05 as a former moat right
7:21 here these cabins would have been used
7:21 for sleeping
7:33 this is where the Slumber
7:33 happened humble
7:35 accommodations to say the
7:52 least it's hot even though there are
7:52 parts that have been maintained and
7:53 upkept there are relics like
7:56 this still out here that is
8:00 that is so cool the old stairs leading
8:03 to the guard Tower I'm not 100% sure
8:06 what this would be used for I'm guessing
8:09 for making tapestries and cloth blankets
8:12 and whatnot you would put the string or
8:16 the twine
8:17 there you would formulate your product
8:20 it's very quiet out
8:23 here along the river
8:34 pretty fascinating
8:34 stuff I love these old
8:47 forts from here you can get a
8:47 perspective on where the water from the
8:50 moat came
8:52 from they dug a ditch that led from the
8:57 river over that way and the water just
9:00 flowed
9:01 along to protect the
9:10 property pretty cool I've always been
9:10 excited by Moes around a property one
9:13 day I will own some land and I will have
9:16 a moat I will have a body of water C
9:18 encompassing it it's a bucket lless
9:21 thing for me hopefully it happens the
9:23 headstones marking the final resting
9:25 place of about a dozen of the soldiers
9:30 140 that perished out here one thing I'm
9:34 noticing
9:35 is there's no dates or
9:38 names on any of
9:47 these not a
9:47 one not one name and it could be for a
9:50 number of different reasons it might be
9:51 unknown who was laid to rest in each
9:53 spot or it could be a symbolic thing and
9:56 all these were placed here in honor of
9:59 everyone who died the ruins you see
10:01 behind the sign is the sight of an early
10:04 Spanish mission and this is what it
10:06 looked like that was then and this is
10:11 what's left now it's really easy to make
10:13 out the structure of the rectangular
10:16 building I'm glad I stopped off here I
10:19 honestly had no idea this place existed
10:22 until today if I follow this path I will
10:25 end up at the Highlander Cottage right
10:29 over there there yes
10:32 yes yes why does the Sun come up or Our
10:37 Stars just pin holes in the curtain of
10:39 night there it
10:41 is up close and personal if I walk in
10:44 here and connory the man
10:48 himself is just
10:49 chilling I'll be pretty happy you in
10:54 here Sean
11:09 there guess
11:09 not I bought this bag of Trail Mix in
11:12 the gift shop titled Southern
11:15 trash I didn't realize it was going to
11:17 be so spicy I think it's the hot Cayenne
11:19 sticks which are the major first
11:21 ingredient anytime something is listed
11:24 at the Forefront of the ingredients
11:27 packaging it's always the most prom
11:30 man these things are spicy I don't think
11:32 I can even finish these Highway 17
11:35 Northbound runs directly parallel to I95
11:39 about a mile from it pretty much the
11:41 same direction but probably going to
11:42 find way more interesting stuff on this
11:45 road like this for example there is a
11:48 small herd of
11:50 buffalo in that pasture right there and
11:53 you can see the traffic from the
11:54 interstate directly behind them shielded
11:57 by the trees
12:00 if I wasn't on this back road I would
12:01 have never noticed these guys just
12:03 hanging out
12:04 grazing so awesome not a whole heck of a
12:08 lot of people besides me on this
12:11 particular
12:12 Road all to myself The Road Less
12:17 Traveled if you will that sign
12:19 designates this spot as the location of
12:22 the smallest Church in America and there
12:26 it is right down there quaint and Co
12:30 to say the least oh there was someone in
12:33 there there's people
12:52 inside little
12:52 Podium stained
12:59 glass pretty neat little place this is
12:59 the view from the
13:06 pulpit and this has been
13:06 left just to inform people not to write
13:09 on the walls no graffiti is welcome here
13:39 for dinner I got myself some American
13:39 pasta style salad I eat this pretty
13:44 often when I'm on the road you get it at
13:46 Walmart it's like
13:48 $2.99 basically it's pasta tomatoes and
13:51 then you have your accessories here
13:54 cheese and you dump it
13:56 all inside there like so then you take
14:01 the ranch dressing you pour
14:04 that all around in
14:07 there then you mix it up
14:11 and enjoy I don't know what it is about
14:14 this about this dish but very
14:18 frequently will I eat this when I'm
14:20 traveling I use AT&T for my cell phone
14:23 data carrier and for the longest time
14:26 you could only get unlimited if you're a
14:28 grandfather in which means you had it
14:30 originally from 10 or 15 years ago they
14:32 got rid of the unlimited plan I still
14:35 had it because I never got rid of it and
14:38 now they just came out with some new
14:40 unlimited platform that I have switched
14:43 over to and I am super happy about it
14:46 because now I can tether my laptop and
14:49 other devices which is something I could
14:52 not do without Wi-Fi for the longest
14:55 time it is a good
14:56 day this is a super big blessing
15:00 especially when I am out away from Wi-Fi
15:04 I can just sit down hang out jump on the
15:06 laptop get work done on the computer
15:10 that I normally could not have done
15:13 unless I was in somewhere that had Wi-Fi
15:16 I'll see you tomorrow
15:19 Vlog over
