0:17 open for business this will be my third
0:20 time eating at a Jollibee the other
0:22 times we're in Southern California
0:24 it is a Filipino chicken
0:27 chain that has a lot more than just
0:30 chicken

1:05 know anything about it and I told you
1:06 you want to go to Jollibee and you go
1:08 what the heck is that I know I have no
1:10 idea what it is it is a
1:12 Filipino chicken restaurant started in
1:15 the Philippines oh you've looked you've
1:17 researched it right started in the
1:18 Philippines first American location came
1:20 when
1:22 was it in Southern California it was in
1:24 California I don't know if it was in
1:25 Southern California it was interesting
1:26 uh it's almost Chicago California San
1:29 Francisco I don't know I don't know I
1:31 just I don't know what the town was I'm
1:32 just asking what year I don't know oh it
1:34 was uh 19
1:36 97. oh five 1995. oh that was very close

1:46 yes who would you see going into a
1:56 Billy Joe inside of a Jolie did they had
1:56 the bookmobile outside what remember the
1:58 bookmobile that was one thing no they
2:00 drove the bookmobile around Green Day
2:02 did yeah that was their tour van I did
2:04 not know that this is going off the yeah
2:06 they had the bookmobile look it up why
2:08 was it called the bookmobile because it
2:09 was an old it was an old library vehicle
2:11 they had them called the bookmobile okay
2:13 I think I don't really know 100 of
2:15 making that up so that I'm happy that
2:16 the mascot is out over here yeah because
2:18 they have a mascot that's a bee he's a
2:21 Jollibee it's a Jolly Bee so we were
2:24 told that we would not be able to go
2:26 inside we'd have to go through the drive
2:27 through which you can't go through the
2:29 drive through but there's also a queue
2:31 line back there has been getting set up
2:34 a cue line back there so we should
2:35 probably go get in the line do you want
2:37 to get in line or do you want to go
2:38 through there's like no line for the
2:39 drive-thru let's just kind of meander
2:41 around put out the vibe say hello to the
2:44 the mascot over there go inside we
2:47 should probably get I don't know
2:48 whatever you want to do there's also
2:50 side we can look around the menu and
2:51 stuff okay that'll be nice because we're
2:53 not supposed to eat inside it's
2:54 supposedly not open but I believe this
2:57 guy's trying to back out doing good all
2:59 right I'm inviting you to join me at

3:04 would be my third time also there are a
3:07 handful of new items that this company
3:08 this Jollibee has never had before
3:11 specifically for the Orlando opening

3:15 there is a delicious mac and cheese oh
3:18 but you know it's delicious if they've
3:19 never had it before

3:36 I forgot that one of their signature
3:38 items is a peach pie
3:40 peach pie yeah they have a peach pie so
3:42 we gotta get the peach pie it's all
3:44 remember like McDonald's would have the
3:45 pies it's like a McDonald's pie
3:56 I'm excited about this I really like
3:56 this place I really like the chicken the
3:58 best I'm not really a big fan of their
4:00 sweet spaghetti I think Tim said he
4:02 might get the sweet spaghetti I am going
4:04 to get the chicken Joy
4:06 it's also this was also voted the best
4:09 chain Fried Chicken in America by
4:12 something called eater once you get it
4:15 you'll get it and get a
4:17 a tub of it for 15.99
4:20 over there and there is yeah quite a
4:22 little bit of a line starting to
4:24 formulate and then obviously the mascot
4:26 as well that is here which is a bee it's
4:28 a Jolly Bee or Jolie B
4:30 call it a Jollibee
4:40 we are trying to decide what we want to
4:40 do do we want to wait in the line over
4:42 here do we want to do the drive through
4:43 the drive-through line is pretty lengthy
4:45 it kind of goes all the way back over
4:46 into the shopping center over to that
4:49 area in fact there are two from what I
4:51 was reading online this is the first
4:52 Jollibee that has two drive-throughs one
4:54 on either side it's a historic Jollibee
4:57 with only with two drive-through lines
4:58 not just one you're getting the self
5:01 attempt getting a selfie there
5:03 check this out though they're also
5:05 promoting it as the Orlando Alafaya yeah
5:07 not just Orlando but Alafaya Orlando
5:10 right there
5:12 I should I feel like I should do that
5:15 too I feel like
5:16 I should probably do there you go am I

5:24 okay this line of cars goes a lot
5:26 farther back than we thought it was
5:28 going to so it goes that way and then it
5:31 wraps around and goes all the way that

5:34 one thing I've learned about Orlando
5:35 when they open up new eateries people
5:38 turn out in droves
5:40 look at this all the way down there it's
5:42 like going out to the road over there
5:47 maybe even make more sense just to go in
5:47 and get take out inside

5:54 looks like inside there's just one
5:55 person in line for Taco Bell yeah you

6:03 really happy that they have the mascot
6:04 out here because I went on street view
6:06 and saw the construction on street view
6:08 and I was like the mascot's not there
6:10 the Jolly B is not out there but the
6:11 Jollibee is here now what if
6:14 what if we wait in line if we had gone
6:16 in the drive-through yes this might not
6:18 happen it still might not happen but
6:19 what if there's a person that comes out
6:21 dressed as the Jollibee oh and does a
6:25 little like presentation out here hands
6:27 out free coupons for
6:29 um
6:31 let's give it a try baby I don't think
6:33 it's gonna happen but yeah but you can
6:35 back in the day when Wendy's first
6:37 started when I was young
6:38 went to Wendy's and they used to have a
6:40 Wendy's mascot there a girl dressed as
6:42 Wendy's yeah
6:44 and Dave Thomas would come around and
6:46 give everybody a pat on the shoulder I
6:47 never met you know Dave Thomas worked
6:49 for a guy who created chicken
6:51 Roy Croc no that was uh that was the guy
6:55 that created McDonald's one of the guys
6:56 who created who stole McDonald's yeah
6:58 but the guy who created chicken was KFC
6:59 Colonel the colonel Dave Thomas got his
7:02 job from the colonel okay he had a
7:04 franchise of Kansas yeah no yeah yeah
7:07 and then he started Wendy's that's how
7:09 he got his business sets and business
7:11 Savage do you think that the guy that
7:12 started KFC the colonel was angry with
7:14 him no they were friends that's a
7:16 delicious tricky crackers maybe if you
7:18 told me I had delicious I could have
7:20 enjoyed it with you Carl do you know why
7:22 they're called Triscuits no because they
7:24 are cooked Triscuits
7:27 what is your what is your theory on why
7:29 it's called a Triscuit I don't know I

8:31 called a palabok fiesta that's what Jen
8:34 wanted you to get she wanted me to get
8:36 the Palo box Fiesta yeah it's got like
8:37 shrimp and stuff on it I should get that
8:39 yeah I'll get that for Jeff because she
8:42 she wanted to go or she wants me to eat
8:44 she wants you to eat it oh okay everyone
8:45 to go too all right Burger steaks sides
8:49 so I'm gonna get some let's say family
8:51 bucket meals Jolly spaghetti let's click
8:53 on this Jolly spaghetti and a power box
8:56 Fiesta so this is the palabox via US the
8:59 family attack what is a pallavox fiesta
9:01 oh right here I've never had this at my
9:03 of the other the other Spots I'm gonna

9:16 box sauce contained shrimp and pork that
9:19 cannot be removed you have to get the
9:20 shrimp and the sauce oh yeah there are
9:23 also some rules over here to ensure
9:25 quick ordering guidelines only take home
9:28 order so you cannot dine in each
9:31 customer lie will be issued a number
9:32 only one order allowed 70 maximum limit
9:35 if avoid losing your spot
9:38 and allowed maximum product quantities
9:41 per order 12 pieces and two six piece
9:43 buckets and 10
9:45 each mango pie so if you can't we can't
9:47 order more than 10 peach mango pies
9:49 that's what it says right there another
9:51 10 macaronis do they have I want the mac
9:54 and cheese oh here it is right here
9:55 that's it we both saw it at the same
9:58 time in Adobo rice okay I'm gonna get
10:00 the baked cheddar
10:02 and I'm gonna get the peach mango pie
10:03 and I'm gonna get what was it the Jen
10:06 want me to get without the Jolly
10:07 spaghetti was called something else was
10:09 it not in here now when you step inside
10:10 I can definitely see why they do not
10:13 allow indoor dining at this time because
10:15 they have it kind of all cued up and
10:17 everyone's really working pretty hard
10:19 back in there together by their orders
10:20 with a long line waited about an hour in
10:22 the line outside before coming into the
10:24 front internal area to wait for our food
10:26 and if you go up towards the counter you
10:28 can see everybody out there working
10:29 getting all the orders produced and
10:31 getting ready to deliver all the orders
10:32 and all that but then when you also once
10:34 you get it you'll get it best chain fry
10:37 it's kind of a tongue twister best chain
10:39 Fried Chicken in America best chicken
10:40 fried chain best chain Fried Chicken in
10:43 America by eater is that a new cooking
10:46 technique is chain frying
10:48 no I think it's a chain because it's a
10:50 fried chicken chain and you see inside
10:52 they had all the the little animated
10:54 Jolie bees all around the country all
10:56 the places that had opened around the
10:58 U.S and the world
10:59 only a couple in the US I think Anna I
11:01 think California and New York and here
11:03 in 2021 they announced that they're
11:05 gonna open
11:06 100 plus new restaurants
11:08 that's a lot of restaurants
11:11 500 in the U.S yeah you got your food
11:14 here 109 509 not a lot I'm not gonna go
11:17 to all of them but I'll probably go to a
11:19 couple yeah plus two yeah so far you've
11:21 been to three this I've been I've been
11:24 to two I went to the one in Anaheim
11:25 twice oh okay a year span I've had three
11:29 buy one I've had three meals oh one
11:33 location I've got three meals in here
11:34 just for me right now how much did you
11:36 spend on all yours forty four dollars I
11:38 spent 36 because I got I get you got to
11:40 try a lot of stuff and I knew I was
11:42 gonna be thirsty so I got two of these
11:44 we are now pulling away
11:46 from the Jollibee oh at the drinks of my
11:51 lap
11:52 so there's the Jolly big grand opening
11:54 we're going to head over to a park that
11:56 is a mile away that has picnic tables
11:58 hopefully
11:59 we have found a park
12:03 over here we're going to eat our food
12:04 out we're going to slide down the slide
12:06 we are let's bring up some swings
12:09 eat a meal eat a delicious meals
12:16 I didn't bring it I didn't get a straw
12:16 so I'm about to go strawless
12:18 they put in my bag okay might be in the
12:20 bag okay we'll have to like do an
12:21 unboxing of all this stuff
12:31 Series in late 2020 early 21.
12:31 probably just late 20. right went and
12:33 got takeout and went to a park and ate
12:35 for like 50 days in a row oh so this
12:38 kind of reminds me of that those times I
12:41 think I did 50. I might have done 40. it
12:43 was at least four yeah I did a lot I
12:44 gained a lot of weight
12:45 oh no there's a just a gravy in here I
12:47 don't know what the gravy goes to
12:49 just one right oh yeah because they want
12:51 you to put gravy on everything do they
12:53 yeah they give you extra gravy I didn't
12:56 get an extra gravy oh all right oh wait
12:59 no that's my mac and cheese
13:01 and I got the peach you got two Peach
13:03 Pies Two Peach pies and you got the
13:05 chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken
13:07 sandwich I'm not really one for a spicy
13:09 chicken sandwich but I got it anyways
13:11 you like spicy stuff though
13:16 no you can't do it anymore you can't do
13:16 spicy anymore should we sit on the same
13:18 side or is this going to tip over

13:33 didn't have the thing Jen recommended

14:00 has the mascot on the front of them I
14:01 didn't really want fries but look how
14:03 good these look jolly Christmas fries
14:06 are the best fries you've ever had
14:07 they're not gonna be but their slogan we
14:10 were told on the way out is have a jolly
14:12 day oh yeah we forgot to pull them
14:14 though do you think that's really their
14:15 slogan or someone there's just a guy
14:17 saying I think it makes sense though oh
14:19 by the way we waited an hour like from
14:21 getting in line to getting out of line
14:23 you got a side of the spaghetti outside
14:24 of the spaghetti but I do have to have
14:26 one complaint or issue yes online it
14:29 read that there were three different
14:30 kinds of meat in it and then when I
14:32 talked to the lady in there she said
14:33 it's just hot dogs now
14:35 oh just hot dogs in the sweet it's a
14:38 sweet spaghetti sauce oh yeah it's very
14:40 sweet I've had it before okay it's gonna
14:42 be like no other spaghetti you've ever
14:43 had okay
14:45 I'm having trouble opening this cup oh

15:29 get at other places they do not have
15:31 until they are
15:32 kind of ready and acclimated to the area
15:34 and got you know everybody trained
15:36 properly in the grand opening crowds
15:38 have dissipated just a little bit
15:39 however
15:41 quite operate this right here is new oh
15:44 okay they've never had mac and cheese
15:46 before at least it's kind of mac and
15:47 cheese so I didn't see it online a baked
15:49 mac and cheese you think they have a
15:51 hidden menu kind of like in and out has
15:53 like a secret menu oh like you would
15:54 order like a double double yeah monster
15:57 Style with cheese yeah you know in and
16:00 out's coming to Tennessee
16:01 in and out is going to is franchising on
16:04 the East Coast now soon very soon when
16:07 do you think it'll be here I don't know
16:08 if it's going to Tennessee it's on its
16:10 way here kind of like how Wawa's taking

16:15 to Florida yeah you heard it here first

18:06 it reminds me of a not as seasoned

18:20 Plaza Inn kind of has a plaza end vibe
18:22 to it okay I don't think it's as good as
18:24 Plaza but it tastes like kind of Plaza
