0:19 I just pinched my finger welcome
0:19 everyone Adam the woo
0:22 here today I'm saying
0:25 goodbye to the Chester drawers I know a
0:28 lot of people say you're really showing
0:30 your roots by calling it Chester drawers
0:34 but what else would you call these
0:57 woo still consuming only water I will
0:57 give a weight loss update in a few days
1:00 I'm almost at one month so I will give
1:03 the next weight loss documentation to
1:07 the world at the on month plateau of me
1:10 tapering back on my eating habits
1:13 drinking only water I still have not had
1:15 coffee and juice or milk or anything
1:18 other than water at some point I will go
1:21 back to coffee with less cream and less
1:23 sugar but that's a long ways off I still
1:25 have a long way to go to get down to the
1:28 weight I want to get to soay stay tuned
1:30 hopefully in a few days I will give you
1:33 an update on how much I have lost but
1:37 what do you think I still have a ways to
1:39 go but I think you can see a
1:41 considerable difference from when I
1:44 started this three 3 and 1/2 weeks
1:56 ago I love these old school McDonald's
1:56 signs and I also love the fact that that
2:00 is driving down the road I'm pulling
2:02 into a storage unit area some offices in
2:05 a storage unit area here in Fullerton
2:07 California and I don't know if you've
2:09 ever heard the band Social Distortion
2:12 well they were based out of Fullerton
2:14 and are probably the biggest punk band
2:16 or even mainstream band to come out of
2:19 Fullerton California and I got a little
2:22 inside tip on where the former cbba
2:25 Studios were where they recorded their
2:28 first albums you look through my side
2:30 mirror you will see the numbers
2:33 1895 and then the letter N that is the
2:37 former casbas Studios where Mike Ness
2:41 and the rest of the gang from Social
2:43 Distortion way back in the day recorded
2:46 their first song and their first album
2:50 Mommy's little monster the thing that
2:51 really drew me into the whole Punk scene
2:54 and the punk lifestyle was the DIY
2:57 do-it-yourself attitude and nothing said
2:59 says do it yourself more than recording
3:04 music in a little building that's used
3:08 for storage course it's been changed
3:09 around a lot now it's used for window
3:12 storage video online just look up Mike
3:14 NES cbos Studios you can find it on
3:18 YouTube and way back in the day Mike NES
3:20 was here giving an interview talking
3:22 about the studio and giving a tour of
3:24 the studio right
3:27 here in this parking lot another really
3:30 cool tidbit about social distortion some
3:32 of their early songs the singer Mike NES
3:35 would sing about sitting by the railroad
3:37 tracks smoking cigarettes and whatnot
3:40 these are the railroad tracks that he
3:42 was singing about because they would
3:44 hang out in that studio which was right
3:47 there and of course come here hear the
3:50 sounds of the trains going by a lot of
3:52 that was incorporated into his mindset
3:55 when he wrote the
3:56 songs pretty cool
4:04 another legendary Punk Rock Spot here in
4:04 Fullerton was a venue by the name of
4:06 ichabods it is been written about it has
4:08 been documented in former you know VHS
4:12 versions of punk rock documentaries it
4:15 burned down a few years ago and now
4:18 there is a Burger King where it once
4:21 stood think of all the bands that played
4:23 in that exact spot
4:34 it's crazy to think that bands like the
4:34 cramps the adolescence all played in the
4:37 spot where this Burger King sits there
4:40 was another building here a
4:51 history this is the Fullerton
4:51 Transportation Depot and the reason I
4:55 stopped off here is because right over
4:57 at the bus station was a very tragic
5:00 event that happened a few years
5:03 ago has become very
5:05 controversial and they have set up a
5:08 makeshift Memorial to the homeless man
5:12 who was beaten to death by some police
5:15 officers right over there the
5:17 interesting thing is I have been here
5:19 before to this venue called the slide
5:22 bar I never realize that right here on
5:25 this pole there have been letters
5:28 pictures
5:30 notes all in
5:32 dedication of this man this is Kelly
5:35 Thomas and you can see the backside of
5:38 this bus only sign they have placed a
5:42 photo of him and says change for
5:46 justice this side says buses only this
5:50 side is the memorial there's some pretty
5:54 intense
5:55 footage on the internet you can look up
5:58 somewhere at the
6:00 train station or up here on the bus
6:03 station there were s some security
6:05 cameras that filmed the beating of this
6:08 man it happened basically right here on
6:11 the
6:13 corner basically sitting right next to
6:16 this pole and happened right in here
6:19 it's pretty it's pretty sad and very
6:22 dramatic but if you want to look it up
6:23 and check it out you can find it online
6:26 and just around the corner from that
6:27 location is this mural and you'll see
6:29 the words Leo Fender in that mural which
6:34 brings me to my next spot former site of
6:36 the Leo Fender Factory the original spot
6:40 for Fender guitars now sits a parking
7:02 structure Fe your eyes on these this is
7:03 the entire set of th's company trading
7:07 cards from
7:10 1978 and not only are they cards they
7:13 are stickers and these are pretty much
7:16 in near mint to Mint Condition there are
7:21 44 of them the first half have this pink
7:25 border around them and then the second
7:28 half number 28 on well I guess it's a
7:31 little more than half have a little bit
7:34 different border but man these are
7:39 freaking cool this is before furly this
7:43 is back when The Ropers were the
7:45 landlords and not furly look at those
7:48 crazy kids you got to love John Ritter
7:51 look at that cool guy nobody could jump
7:53 over a couch with more
8:00 eloquencer man man wonder what ever
8:00 happened to that couch should be in the
8:02 Smithsonian it's not but it should be
8:05 those are cool I love th's company I
8:08 can't even explain to you how much I
8:11 love that show I've seen all
8:13 176 episodes that's right 174 originally
8:17 aired episodes and then the two episodes
8:20 that were never aired I have the DVD
8:22 sets of all the seasons and I have seen
8:26 every episode at least twice I have
8:29 watched
8:30 all the DVDs through from start to
8:32 finish two times plus all the times I
8:35 saw it when it used to come on TV and
8:37 then on Nick at night and TV Land and
8:39 all that so at the bare minimum I've
8:41 seen every episode twice but some
8:44 episodes I've probably seen up to maybe
8:45 10 times I love this show and now it's
8:50 time for ask Adam the don't forget the
8:55 hashtag hey Adam how was at California
