0:05 was one of my first videos I ever did

0:07 the abandoned Splendid China theme park

0:13 now there is not a lot left this is kind

0:15 of an update video what is behind that

0:18 wall most of it has been torn down but

0:23 friend Cody years ago years and years

0:26 ago went and explored every nook and

0:29 cranny of the Miniatures the Great Wall

0:32 the Rocks the facades and even some of

0:35 those heads right there that used to be

0:38 inside the park you can see all those in

0:40 the video in the link I post it down

0:43 below but this is an update I wanted to

0:44 show up here while I am in Florida and

0:46 see what Remains the last time the

0:49 return the final view of what once was

1:27 see I'm not really sure why this is over

1:27 here but there's some sort of a buoy or

1:29 some sort of of life saving device here

1:38 this why is that here it's crazy to

1:38 think that years ago tourists would

1:40 flock down that road and this road

1:43 driving to and fro into the theme park

1:45 and now it is only used for construction

1:47 vehicles to tear down what once remained

1:51 look at the top of the wall and the

1:52 detail just look at the detail here the

1:56 carvings in the top look at this

2:01 just the carvings and like the

2:03 workmanship here before you even get in

2:05 the property see all this eventually

2:07 will be knocked down very very

2:09 shortly so I just wanted to document a

2:12 little bit of what Still

2:15 Remains it's pretty awesome for future

2:17 reference for anyone planning on

2:19 snooping around a location just realize

2:22 that if a area is deemed a construction

2:25 site the trespass laws and fines are

2:28 considerably more of course this stating

2:31 that you will be convicted of a felony

2:34 if there are construction vehicles and

2:37 workers on the property so we will not

2:39 actually be going inside this fenced

2:42 area but we will be peeking over the

2:44 fence but like I said before if you want

2:46 to go back and see what's inside or what

2:48 was inside I will post that link to that

2:50 video down below so let's walk around

2:53 the perimeter and see if we can see

2:56 anything that needs to be seen

3:04 in front was actually where they had the

3:04 word Splendid China written across this

3:07 Marquee of course that was removed many

3:10 many years ago and this wall will soon

3:13 be removed the next time I show up to

3:16 Central Florida odds are definitely

3:19 pretty strong that this wall will have

3:21 been bulldozed and cleaned out who knows

3:24 what we'll go here Apartments businesses

3:28 stores parks here's a mural of a dragon

3:57 along this Main Road here this Thorofare

4:00 that runs along the side of the

4:02 entranceway into what was Splendid

4:06 China you can see over

4:15 here these metal iron fence posts and

4:15 this

4:18 design pretty much on every little

4:20 etching going all the way down

4:23 even even all the way down to the end

4:26 they all

4:27 have that design if you look over the

4:30 top of the fence you can actually see

4:33 how much construction they have done you

4:36 can see how much they have

4:39 removed how much is not

4:42 there but you can see a few remnants of

4:45 some of the tops of the buildings but

4:46 you can also see some construction

4:48 vehicles off in the distance and you can

4:49 also see big mounds of dirt and 98% of

4:54 what was once in Splendid China has been

4:57 removed look at that

5:13 patunas you can see right here there is

5:13 a concrete slab there used to be some

5:15 sort of a statue right against that wall

5:17 at one time and now the only Remnant is

5:20 that little piece of concrete designated

5:22 that something once stood right there

5:25 basically the only remaining structures

5:27 out here at Splenda China are on this

5:29 side of the property behind this

5:31 original gate for wooden fence you can

5:33 see this facade but as I am filming this

5:36 there is a construction vehicle right

5:38 over there making its way slowly to

5:42 pretty much seal the imminent demise of

6:34 if you look in here you'll see back in

6:34 there some graffiti covered walls well

6:37 those graffiti covered walls will not be

6:39 there much longer because the walls are

6:42 being removed the graffiti walls come

6:46 tumbling down along with the rest of

6:49 Splendid China

7:02 look at this weird dangerous hole right

7:04 sticks is that the pathway to

7:06 China is that the pathway to china nah

7:10 probably not you can kind of see some of

7:13 the Rocks back there some of the rock

7:15 wall back past that tree straight ahead

7:18 right over there if you look closely I

7:21 wonder how they're going to get rid of

7:22 that I wonder if they're going to leave

7:23 that and maybe build houses and condos

7:25 around it or if they'll just use that

7:29 piece of Machinery or maybe a bulldozer

7:31 to remove

7:39 it as you can see on this end they'

7:39 removed the original wooden gate on the

7:41 back end and they put in this red fence

7:44 that is open because there are actually

7:46 workers in there currently there are

7:48 actually workers in there currently in

7:50 fact right down there you can see one of

7:53 the construction guys

7:55 trucks but this is it Splendid China a

7:59 Great Wall was in here lots of buildings

8:02 a lot of controversy over this

9:10 jump started me exploring going out

9:18 lot of it had to do with this place and

9:20 the interest of abandoned places which

9:22 spawned other filming location videos it

9:26 all kind of stemmed from this place so

9:28 this place holds a special place in my
