0:18 these daily Vlogs and today is no

0:20 exception sitting here at a picnic table

0:22 back in St Cloud Florida I've return

0:24 from my last road trip it just seems

0:27 like it's one road trip after another

0:29 after another after another

0:30 well this current road trip has ended

0:33 going to be hanging around St Cloud

0:34 Florida for about a couple weeks before

0:36 I fly to Atlanta for Dragon Con and then

0:39 fly out to Anaheim California to do some

0:42 Disneyland videos and Los Angeles

0:46 videos but basically I wanted to do this

0:49 video today to let you know about

0:51 something that happened in Tupelo

0:53 Mississippi which some people realize is

2:08 kind of blows my mind it's kind of

2:13 ways to think about when I was a kid

2:16 when you're young you think that 40

2:19 years old is something that's almost

2:21 unachievable you think when you're a

2:22 child you think 40 a 40-year-old is an

2:24 old person man they're old they're 40

2:27 and then 50 is like a whole other where

2:30 it's like what do I even have in common

2:33 with a 50-year-old when you're a child

2:35 and then 60-year-old you're like who is

2:37 that old

2:38 cajer well as you get older you start to

2:41 realize that that's not really the case

2:43 cuz I'm 40 years old and I still feel

2:46 like a child in a lot of ways I still

2:48 feel like that kid in the early 80s

2:52 going to the movie theater to see Return

2:54 of the

2:55 Jedi 1983 1984 and then in 1985

3:01 Future still one of my favorite movies I

3:03 still feel like that

3:06 1985 child I almost said 1885 but we're

3:09 not going back that far I'm not that old

3:13 sir sometimes you just have to stay in

3:16 the moment I guess 1985 was kind of my

3:19 year I kind of relate back to that I'm

3:21 definitely an 80s child an 8s kid still

3:25 feel like I'm still that 11 12 13 14

3:28 year old self

3:30 but the good thing about life is that

3:33 you actually learn from your mistakes

3:35 grow wiser and you actually can continue

3:38 on they say 40 40 or 50 is the over the

3:42 hill age most people would say 40 years

3:45 old you are over the hill a lot of

3:47 people will look at that as a negative

3:50 negative aspect meaning man you're over

3:53 the hill you're on the downward spiral

3:57 but let's not look at it this way we

3:58 need to look at it another way when

4:00 you're riding a bike or you're running

4:02 or you're walking and you see a huge

4:03 mountain or a huge hill the hardest part

4:06 is climbing to the top climbing back

4:08 down it's a coaster it's easy you're

4:11 just cruising along cruising back down

4:15 into the nether regions if you will of

4:17 goodness so I really in all actuality I

4:20 think I have reached the easy part of my

4:25 life because of the wisdom I don't even

4:27 want to call it wisdom the knowledge I

4:29 guess I have learned I've always had

4:31 this

4:31 Keen quality and insight of kind of

4:34 learning from my mistakes I still make a

4:36 lot of

4:37 mistakes but I think I've definitely

4:39 learned from a lot of the mistakes I

4:40 made when I was younger and learned from

4:42 them and that's the beauty of age and

4:44 the beauty of growing older and learning

4:47 things so that is one thing I'm

4:49 definitely looking forward to in the

4:52 next years who knows how much longer I'm

4:55 going to live but I can safely say I've

4:57 already lived 40 years and that

5:00 absolutely blows my mind 40 40 years I

5:03 there's a lot of people that watch my

5:05 videos that are probably older than 40

5:07 and they're going to probably leave

5:08 comments and say you're a young whipper

5:11 snapper you got a long way to go and

5:14 that's true hopefully you're correct

5:17 ma'am I do have a long way to go but man

5:20 looking at it from a younger aspect

5:23 there are people also children

5:27 teenagers early 20s Folk watching these

5:30 videos and you're probably thinking man

5:32 40 years old Adam is 40 years old I'm

5:36 never going to be that old well rest

5:38 assured child you will be 40 years old

5:43 as old as me one day you're probably

5:45 going to catch up with me even though

5:47 I'm going to continue getting older but

5:48 one day I'm going to watch a vlog that

5:50 you're doing 13-year-old kid that's

5:52 watching this right now I'm going to

5:54 watch a video you did about you turning

5:56 40 and I'm going to go you're you're 40

6:01 it's pretty pretty

6:03 wild I'm just kind of sitting here

6:05 sinking in the

6:07 moment 40 years old I wanted to be back

6:10 in St Cloud Florida Today I could have

6:14 stayed up north a little bit longer but

6:16 for some reason I just felt like I

6:17 needed to be in my hometown I've lived

6:20 here since

6:21 1991 I wasn't born here I didn't grow up

6:24 here but moved here in 1991 when I was

6:27 17 so I've been in this area since I was

6:29 17 and I'm 40 now so for 23 years St

6:34 Cloud Florida has kind of been my home

6:36 when I'm not traveling I'm hanging out

6:39 around here all my jobs I've ever had

6:41 have been here in St Cloud I know so

6:43 many people have met so many people

6:46 still know so many people from all the

6:48 jobs I have worked here in this town my

6:52 dad was a preacher here in St Cloud so a

6:55 lot of the congregation he had I know so

6:58 definitely St Cloud is my hometown even

7:01 though I was born in Tupelo lived in the

7:04 Panhandle a little town called nville

7:05 Florida as well as Pensacola Panama City

7:08 a bunch of other places Oklahoma live in

7:10 Oklahoma as

7:12 well St Cloud Florida is and always will

7:16 be my hometown because this is probably

7:18 the place that I've lived the longest

7:20 and probably ever will live the longest

7:22 unless when I'm older I finally find a

7:24 place to get stationary which as you

7:26 guys know I travel around doing a lot of

7:29 videos one of the last things on my mind

7:31 really is just getting a stationary spot

7:34 for a long period of time so for me

7:37 staying stationary more than 23 years

7:39 like I have been here who knows if

7:41 that's going to happen who knows what

7:43 the future

7:44 holds I'm just thinking about I can't

7:46 stop thinking about the 40 year old I

7:49 can't stop thinking about these ants

7:51 that are

7:52 crawling all around me I decided to

7:55 leave the camera stationary today in

7:57 honor of

7:59 40 years not a Vlogs 40 years of my life

8:05 and if you think about it you really

8:07 start don't you start really gaining

8:10 conscious decisions and decision making

8:13 I guess when you're early teens 12 or

8:16 13 so that's 27 28 years of

8:20 adulthood that I have been in hopefully

8:23 I can live a good 28 years more maybe 30

8:27 more if I could double my age and live

8:29 to 80 i' probably be the happiest person

8:32 ever cuz I thought about how much I have

8:35 achieved and done already if if I was to

8:38 die

8:39 tomorrow and I was just laying there on

8:41 my deathbed I would think man I have

8:43 done so many incredible things in my

8:47 life so if I have the ability and I am

8:50 blessed enough to live another 10 years

8:52 20 years 30 years 40 years if I live to

8:56 be 80 years old and I'm looking back and

8:58 thinking

9:00 man I've done everything there is to do

9:03 what else I have completed the task of

9:06 life so hopefully that happens who knows

9:10 I don't know what's going to happen I

9:12 could leave right now get in a car wreck

9:15 I could wake up in the morning feeling

9:17 eel ill eel or eel hopefully I don't

9:21 wake up with an eel slithering around me

9:24 I could wake up not feeling good might

9:26 not be around in a week who knows no one

9:29 knows what the future holds no one knows

9:33 but for now 40 years old man that's

9:36 pretty awesome my birthday is kind of a

9:39 weird day birthdays and New Year's Eve

9:43 are the two days in the year I never get

9:46 depressed I'm not the kind of person

9:48 that thinks like man I'm

9:50 depressed but those two days for some

9:52 reason always have like a little bit of

9:54 a weird nons Silver Lining something

9:57 just dropped out of the tree those two

9:59 days look at this this dropped out of

10:10 sir so those two days my birthday and

10:10 New Year's Eve I kind of stay away from

10:21 hang out with a lot of friends don't

10:22 really go out and celebrate really I

10:25 think I do so much celebrating all the

10:27 other days of the year by traveling

10:30 around filming weird things doing crazy

10:33 things on a daily basis that kind of

10:35 like New Year's Eve I kind of use that

10:38 day as a thought process day wait a

10:41 second the glare is getting really

10:43 crazy really crazy glare here block the

10:47 sun just block the sun I'm going to use

10:51 these sunglasses my my famous Adam the

10:54 woo sunglasses to block that sun coming

10:57 down upon you hold on a second

11:21 yeah New Year's Day New Year's Eve and

11:25 my birthday or the two days I kind of

11:27 keep to myself do a little bit of

11:34 know why I'm knocking on wood other than

11:35 it just brings a little bit of awesome

11:39 continue 40 more years knock on wood I'm

11:45 doing right now so I don't really have

11:48 much else to say other than man 40 40

12:03 what a lot of people are infatuated with

12:18 people are infatuated with staying young

12:21 young looking young feeling young for me

12:26 I think the key to feeling young is

12:28 doing what you love to do keeping the

12:31 fire alive as a child you have that fire

12:35 inside yourself when you look at

12:37 something you're excited about something

12:39 you look at something over there and you

12:41 think that is the most incredible thing

12:43 I've ever seen I think the key the

12:47 key to staying young as you get older is

12:50 keeping that Insight in your eyes these

12:54 old withering eyes the graying hair gray

12:58 and the be we bags under the eyes the

13:02 creepy silky unsmooth skin that develops

13:08 as you get older none of that matters

13:10 the only thing matters is keeping the

13:12 only thing that matters I should say is

13:15 keeping that fire

13:17 alive keep traveling is what I'm going

13:19 to do if you can't travel keep looking

14:08 normal Vlog but it doesn't matter I'm

14:12 once in a while and by every once in a

14:14 while I mean every single

14:16 day so stay young stay alive stay

14:25 inside and that's how it needs to be
