0:02 Today's adventure begins as the
0:02 recording of this Saturday, September
0:04 6th,
0:06 2025. I'm checking out of my hotel here
0:09 in Universal City and going to be
0:11 heading deeper into the valley because
0:13 tonight I have rented
0:18 the poltergeist house.
0:26 They're here.
0:26 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here.
0:29 This has been something I've wanted to
0:30 do for a long time. Probably 12 years
0:32 ago, the first time I went by the house,
0:35 no one could get access to it, but that
0:37 has changed very recently in the last
0:39 few weeks. And I'm going inside 400 p.m.
0:43 later tonight. Still got about 5 hours
0:44 before I can check in, but I'm going to
0:46 go rent a car cuz I'm going to be in the
0:48 greater LA area for a little while. So,
0:50 I'm going to get a car and then head up
0:52 to Semi Valley. Or is it Semi Valley?
0:55 It's in the valley. Join me.
0:58 Spooky time at the poltergeist house
1:01 wearing an appropriate t-shirt. Join me.
1:03 I'm excited about this. Shall you picked
1:06 up a rental car, made the commute north
1:09 of where I was, and I am now in the
1:12 community of Questa Verde,
1:15 and the house is right up here, the
1:17 Freeling Residence.
1:20 It's just now hitting me that I'm going
1:21 to be staying overnight
1:24 in this iconic
1:26 horror film house.
1:34 There it is.
1:34 Right there. Oh my gosh. This is
1:38 actually happening.
1:45 Couple minutes till check in. Checkin's
1:45 at 4. Got some birds chirping. This is
1:48 the neighborhood before the sun goes
1:50 down.
1:58 Massive driveway where pulls the car up
1:58 and towards the be a lot of spoilers in
2:00 this video obviously, but
2:03 the corpse comes launched through the
2:05 garage door there. And this is eerie. I
2:07 pull up and did not plan this, but there
2:10 is a tennis ball down here.
2:19 And if you've seen the film, you know
2:19 the significance of that. More on that
2:21 later. It's just sitting in the yard.
2:33 Now, they have moved back these two
2:33 pylons here, these two brick pylons.
2:38 In the 1982 film, they were closer to
2:41 the sidewalk, but they moved them back a
2:43 little bit. Another classic film from 82
2:45 ET.
2:47 Steven Spielberg directed it. Now,
2:48 Spielberg had a lot to do with this
2:50 movie, but Toby Hooper was credited as
2:54 the director,
2:56 and there's some conspiracy with that on
2:59 who really fully directed the film. But
3:11 so quiet and eerie.
3:11 Oh my gosh, the kitchen.
3:20 What?
3:20 Same type of table.
3:23 They even have the markers on the
3:24 ground.
3:38 And there is in fact a pool here.
3:38 They were digging the pool in the movie.
3:40 The tree
3:42 that bust through the window right up
3:44 there where both the kids rooms was was
3:47 right here.
3:49 Terrifying tree.
3:56 There's a little side room you don't see
3:56 in the film.
4:06 The staircase is different as well.
4:06 Got the classic Atari here with some
4:08 games.
4:11 TV
4:14 photographs here.
4:16 Also got DVD and VHS. We'll watch that a
4:20 little bit later.
4:22 Got the book. Also got a guest book here
4:25 as well.
4:28 Yeah, this is really cool. So, there's
4:31 two dining areas. There's the main
4:32 dining area where they had a really
4:35 pivotal scene here where they're all
4:37 sitting around it.
4:40 And then there's another one. Well,
4:43 quite a few things happen in here. The
4:44 breakfast, the stacking of the chairs,
4:47 all that happened right in here.
4:50 There's actually quite a few houses in
4:52 this neighborhood that are similar to
4:53 this design, design a semi valley.
5:00 And as the night goes on, I'm going to
5:01 try to figure out a few key angles and
5:04 whatnot, but there was a different
5:05 staircase here. Also, the roof up here
5:08 does appear to be
5:10 about the same height as the one that
5:12 you're seeing in the film. However, the
5:15 type of slats that were across here have
5:18 been removed. And they've also built
5:20 this other partition of the ceiling.
5:24 If you look up, you can see where the
5:25 upstairs was. I'm just going to assume
5:27 the upstairs bedrooms were all on a set,
5:30 but the downstairs,
5:32 good portion of it was down here. And up
5:34 the stairs, this is what it looks like.
5:36 I'll pop over into that terrifying
5:38 bedroom shortly. But there is a restroom
5:41 there, another bedroom here.
5:46 Very large
5:48 bedroom here, and another bedroom here.
5:53 Very accommodating.
5:59 Nice view of the pool there and the
5:59 hills in the background. Just giving
6:02 kind of a nice quiet
6:04 house tour beforehand. There's going to
6:06 be a lot more activity later. Going to
6:08 have some friends coming over as well.
6:11 Check the place out and stay.
6:19 Creepy sounds.
6:19 So quiet.
6:25 See in the movie so many times. I always
6:25 wondered what was inside this window up
6:27 here looking out onto the street. the
6:30 very top portion.
6:33 All right. Clearly portions of the
6:35 upstairs was on a set. Can't speak for
6:38 the all of the bottom, but definitely up
6:40 here with the exception Oh, man. Look at
6:43 this. Oh, they got both the beds in. Oh,
6:45 and they got the clown over there.
6:49 Now, there are some scenes where they're
6:51 looking out the window, specifically
6:53 when before the tree rips him out of the
6:56 window there, where he's in this room
6:58 looking outwardly upon the backyard and
7:02 the pre-built pool. So, they might have
7:04 done a couple shots in here,
7:08 but I think the rest, all the other
7:09 craziness was probably they rebuilt the
7:11 kids' room on a set. Nice touch with the
7:14 clown there.
7:16 character case down below. The Darth
7:18 Vader
7:20 got the Star Wars.
7:28 Oh my gosh, there's a phone.
7:28 At night, this is going to be this is
7:30 going to be quite the vibe at night
7:31 looking out here, just thinking of that
7:33 tree busting through this window. And I
7:35 just went to HHN. I went through the
7:37 house where they recreated a lot of
7:39 scenes from that. You actually went
7:40 through HHN. They rebuilt this house for
7:42 HHN. And yes, I will be taking a dip in
7:45 the pool later.
7:48 Definitely will. I like the fact that
7:50 there's a washer and dryer in here.
7:52 I could do I could do some laundry while
7:54 I'm here.
8:00 And when I check out in the morning, I
8:00 will sign the the guest book. Only four
8:02 people have stayed here. According to
8:04 this, each person will take a page, fill
8:06 it out. My friend Sean Clark stayed
8:08 here. did a great video of this place as
8:11 well, but I wanted to see it with my own
8:13 eyes, so I'm here as well. So, according
8:16 to the book, I'm only the fifth person
8:18 to stay at the newly opened and rentable
8:22 poltergeist house. One image from that
8:23 film that looks pretty rentree in my
8:25 head when I think of that movie was
8:27 Craig T. Nelson walking back up. That
8:28 last half hour of the film is absolutely
8:30 insane. I mean, the whole movie is
8:32 crazy, but that last 25 to 30 minutes,
8:35 just off the rails, that whole ending
8:37 scene out in the front yard over here,
8:41 you know, talking about moving the
8:43 headstones, but not moving the bodies. I
8:45 mean, just But before when Craig T.
8:47 Nelson gets out of the car and comes up
8:49 here, you see him like walking up these
8:51 and just the look of fear on his face.
8:56 I don't know. Just a true classic horror
8:59 film.
9:01 Watching the movie in here is going to
9:02 be
9:04 be an experience
9:07 to say the least
9:21 quest verde. Just to note, the parents
9:21 bedroom here is pretty much the same
9:23 specification size-wise as the set
9:26 recreation that they built that was on a
9:28 complete circle when she's like going up
9:31 the bed, going up the side of the wall
9:34 onto the roof and using a couple other
9:37 scenes when there's like the earthquake.
9:38 They think they're having the
9:39 earthquake. That was not in here, but
9:41 this looks so much like it. They really
9:44 did a good job recreating the
9:46 specifications on the set and the TV
9:50 would have been right here where Carolyn
9:52 says that says that classic line right
9:55 there. However, a lot of action did
9:56 happen down here. Living room, dining
9:58 room, kitchen, outside, sideyard, front
10:01 yard,
10:02 etc. Over the course of the evening,
10:04 especially when nightfall rears its
10:06 head, other people will be showing up,
10:08 friends of mine, and they could probably
10:10 help me match some things up as well.
10:12 So, I'll show some screenshots, things
10:14 like that, and also just want to kind of
10:17 just kind of feel the vibe of the place
10:19 as the night goes on. It's an overnight
10:21 stay at one of the most iconic
10:25 horror film houses in existence.
10:30 I just spent a little time with the
10:31 owner. She came by to make sure my
10:32 check-in was going pretty well and also
10:35 explained a few things to me. Also
10:36 showed some photos that she recently
10:39 received on what the house used to look
10:41 like. She was also saying that this pool
10:45 was put in by the studio. It was part of
10:47 the house rental agreement. So when they
10:49 were digging the pool out in that scene
10:51 with the skeletons and all that after
10:53 that, after the filming was done is when
10:55 they built the pool. And it still kind
10:57 of is the same layout where the shallow
10:59 winds over there. It goes to the deep
11:00 end. Now, in the mid 90s, the Northridge
11:04 earthquake did a lot of damage to the
11:07 foundation of the house and a lot of the
11:09 inside
11:11 was redone and the outside out front was
11:14 redone. So, there has been some drastic
11:16 changes, but I want to match up some
11:18 stuff around the back here. She also
11:20 said when they repaved this and put this
11:22 new concrete down many years ago that
11:24 they filled in the 6 foot deep hole for
11:27 the animatronic tree that was right here
11:30 underneath Carolyn and Robbiey's window
11:34 right there.
11:36 And when the actor that played Robbie
11:38 had to go up in the tree and he's he's
11:39 been to the house. She was saying that
11:41 the actor that played Robbie has been
11:42 here and when he had to get up in the
11:45 tree, they had a ladder and he went up
11:47 in the tree in that area. But not only
11:50 is there concrete on the ground level,
11:51 but there is a huge hole right here
11:54 filled in 6 ft of concrete directly
11:56 below this spot where that tree was.
11:58 Also, the flower bed where they buried
12:01 the bird in the cigar box has been paved
12:04 over as well. That was between the
12:05 house. This is when Robbie's walking
12:07 over to the tree. You can see out here
12:10 still looks the same up here. Used to be
12:13 a balcony to the main bedroom. As he
12:16 goes along, this has changed a little
12:19 bit as well. In fact, the door to lead
12:21 into the side kitchen next to the window
12:25 or the side dining area next to the
12:27 window where they're having the
12:28 breakfast scene. The door used to be
12:30 right here. I'll kind of pull back and
12:33 show Robbie walking past this area, sees
12:37 a door and then climbs up the tree, get
12:40 a view of the neighborhood quest.
12:43 But you can see not only where that door
12:44 used to be, now it's a glass window on
12:46 the outside, but also where the concrete
12:50 is now. Used to be red bricks down
12:52 below, but after the earthquake, they
12:55 changed all that. And those red bricks
12:58 evidently were used by the previous
12:59 owner. There's the spot where the tree
13:02 was right there on different areas
13:04 around where the wooden fence used to
13:06 be. They've used some of the red bricks
13:08 that were down here that were destroyed
13:10 up on the top of the concrete wall,
13:13 which would be some of these. If I was
13:16 if I was understanding what she was
13:17 saying correctly, the previous owner
13:19 used that.
13:32 Just looking out the kitchen window
13:32 here.
13:34 Also some little little knickknacks and
13:37 things that are up on the shelf.
13:40 Looking out the window as they're
13:41 building the pool or starting the
13:43 construction construction on the pool.
13:46 Pool is out there now. But you got some
13:48 similar
13:50 type of decorations down here. decor
13:54 looking out the the pool building scene.
13:58 And this shows what the kitchen would
13:59 have looked like back when they were
14:00 having the breakfast scene with that
14:01 door over in the corner there and the
14:05 window here where the sliding glass door
14:06 is. Now, I am thinking they had two
14:08 different countertops.
14:10 They had the daytime countertops when
14:12 everyone was in here and he was on the
14:15 phone talking about the earthquake over
14:17 here. And I think they redid a
14:19 countertop when they did the the
14:22 slithering steak scene. And then the
14:25 steak bubbles up the little bubble guts
14:28 popping out of the steak right there
14:30 because the countertop does not match up
14:33 during that particular moment, but it
14:34 matches up when during the breakfast
14:37 scene. All right. I'm noticing even the
14:39 daytime scenes when they're obviously
14:40 filming out the window and they were in
14:42 this particular kitchen, not a set, the
14:44 counter was a little bit different. And
14:46 I'll show that in a moment. But you can
14:48 see the other dining room off there in
14:50 the distance. Kind of gives a good And
14:52 they've recreated the TV here as well.
14:56 The Caroline was sitting on the counter
14:59 watching the static.
15:05 But if you watch the movie closely, this
15:05 line right here, there was a double
15:07 line. There was one here and then like
15:08 another half an inch there was another
15:10 line. So they have redone the
15:12 countertop. At least at least that
15:14 little segment.
15:28 It's kind of up this back little incline
15:28 where you can see full view of the
15:31 backyard when they start building the
15:32 pool.
15:41 Kind of from this angle.
15:41 Look in this direction. Get a good view
15:44 of the back of the house
15:47 before the insanity began or began.
15:53 A big piece of heavy machinery right
15:55 there digging the pool hole. This is
15:57 kind of neat, too. You can see that that
15:59 hillside in the background there
16:02 when Dominic Dunn's character
16:05 is walking around through the backyard
16:07 and the construction guys
16:14 are, you know, saying their piece to
16:14 her. You can see that hill in the
16:15 background. She walked right along here,
16:24 right past the tree,
16:24 right along this way.
16:27 The fireplace that she stood in front of
16:29 and gave them the finger
16:31 was right here. It's been redone, also
16:33 damaged in the earthquake of the mid
16:35 '9s. They were standing right over
16:38 there.
16:40 And she is one of a few that is part of
16:42 what some consider to be the poltergeist
16:44 curse.
16:45 She passed away very young as well as
16:48 Heather Oor.
16:50 the sink except this these have been
16:53 changed,
16:55 you know, the the faucet and everything,
16:56 but it's the same porcelain. So, if you
16:59 rewatch the movie during the scene where
17:00 she's right here on the counter sitting
17:02 on the counter watching the the static,
17:06 the mom changes the channel to a a TV
17:09 show and you'll hear a really good
17:10 Wilhelm scream. If you know, you know.
17:13 Right here in this spot was a really
17:15 good Wilhelm scream coming from the TV.
17:18 And who could forget the chair stacking
17:20 scene
17:28 also in here. Just amazing. No edits,
17:28 all one take.
17:31 Mom goes over to the chairs, walks over,
17:35 gets something out of the cabinets over
17:39 Crew runs in, stacks the chairs, camera
17:42 pans back, and you're startled. Now it
17:45 would just be done with editing, but not
17:48 back then. And it's much more effective
17:49 and much more terrifying. Did you do
17:51 this?
17:59 Uh uh-huh.
17:59 What do you think, Kevin?
18:01 >> This is bizarre. This is so cool.
18:04 >> Both the Kevin's. What do you think,
18:06 Kevin?
18:06 >> Oh, [laughter] that is awesome.
18:08 >> What do you think, Alison?
18:10 >> This is so cool.
18:11 >> You have the most appropriate t-shirt
18:12 on. You're wearing also also a polterge
18:14 guy shirt.
18:14 >> Well, you too. You got your poltergeist
18:16 shirt on, too.
18:18 >> I'm just glad I didn't walk through the
18:19 house the other night. I probably
18:21 couldn't have walked in here.
18:22 >> Yeah, that was pretty freaky.
18:24 >> Just watch out for maggots. Well, I
18:25 think on the [laughter] floor down
18:26 there, that's where the chicken was.
18:29 >> Wow.
18:30 >> They were also noticing that the lights
18:32 up above are still lights. It's weird.
18:35 When I watched the movie, I thought this
18:36 was like a sunroof, but now that I'm in
18:38 here, it's just actual lights.
18:41 But there is a room right here. So
18:43 >> because Yeah. In the movie it does the
18:45 vaulted ceiling doesn't go up like in an
18:47 A-frame. It just goes up.
18:48 >> Correct. Yeah.
18:58 >> Oh, they got a tennis ball here.
18:58 >> They got a tennis ball.
19:00 >> I brought I brought some tennis balls
19:01 also.
19:02 >> They're what?
19:03 >> I brought some tennis balls also.
19:05 >> And a red Sharpie so we could write
19:06 number two on it.
19:07 >> Yeah.
19:08 >> This is where the bird right in the
19:10 garden in the cigar box. I was showing
19:12 that a moment ago, but look over here.
19:13 You see the you see the
19:17 >> the fireplace there
19:20 would have been basically
19:22 >> right about here
19:24 >> and you see the fireplace over there
19:26 >> where they've redone the fireplace.
19:33 Just a different angle of what I already
19:33 showed.
19:34 >> Slowly sun's starting to go down. It's
19:36 dusk now. This is the This is the angle
19:38 when Craig T. Nelson has the remote out
19:40 the side of the window and they're
19:42 trying to watch the football game and
19:43 the neighbor is wanting to watch Mr.
19:46 Rogers. In fact, those windows over
19:48 there match up. So, that was definitely
19:50 here in the sideyard
19:53 right out this window.
19:55 Always wanted to drink a piping hot
19:57 caffeinated beverage from this this
19:59 window right here. Got the coffee cup
20:10 Goal accomplished.
20:10 >> Yeah. Like as I was 12 at the time when
20:12 I came out like that.
20:15 >> There is mosquito.
20:16 >> I saw
20:17 >> there really are mosquitoes here.
20:20 >> And I'm chewing on some carrots. I don't
20:22 know why, but there carrots.
20:23 >> That's not moving authentic.
20:25 >> I'll get some chicken later and a steak.
20:29 >> Oh my god. Oh my god.
20:33 That's amazing.
20:37 >> Whoa,
20:37 >> that's cool.
20:46 That's trippy, right?
20:46 >> They're here.
20:48 >> Is this the same model TV?
20:50 >> I like I don't know.
20:51 >> Did you track it down?
20:52 >> CAROLYN. CAROLYN. CAROLYN.
20:56 She's in there.
20:58 >> Mommy. Mommy. I can't see you. Don't go
21:02 towards the light.
21:27 >> Did the arms move up?
21:27 OH MY GOD, YOU SCARED THE crap out of
21:30 me. I almost thought that was coming
21:33 from the freaking TV.
21:40 >> Strobe light warning, by the way.
22:11 kind of hungry
22:11 fridge.
22:13 >> Welcome back.
22:15 >> Welcome back home.
22:18 >> I'm here again.
22:19 >> No, Sean, this is your bed right here,
22:21 Sean.
22:22 >> Yeah, she still got the cheesy clown.
22:24 >> Well, you can sleep on the boat with
22:26 that bed. You're not strawberry. I'm
22:28 good. Oh, yeah. Look at THIS
22:30 BED. [laughter]
22:35 IT'S TERRIFYING TO
22:36 >> THAT ALL NIGHT TERRIFYING. He's not
22:37 attacking anybody. [laughter]
22:40 >> I don't know though.
22:42 >> So I recreate how I got pulled into the
22:43 bed.
22:44 >> Yeah. Yeah.
22:45 >> That was a great So how did you do it?
22:47 You had you had someone behind here shut
22:49 the door.
22:50 >> Yeah. So which part are you asking?
22:53 >> When you slid under the bed, how the
22:54 heck did you get underneath it?
22:56 >> No, I I didn't reverse it. I just No, I
22:59 went under. I grabbed it from from in
23:01 here like this behind the scenes
23:03 >> and I just WENT [laughter]
23:10 >> and then you had someone slam the door
23:10 from here.
23:10 >> That is so awesome.
23:12 >> And so yeah, I had I'm here with the
23:15 clown, right?
23:17 >> And then
23:19 uh Brian was out there with the camera
23:21 and my buddy Darren was here and he just
23:23 he slammed it.
23:24 >> It was good.
23:25 >> Yeah. I was wondering how you got
23:27 dragged underneath there. You just pull
23:29 you pull yourself.
23:30 >> I would have thought if anyone could
23:32 have summoned a real poltergeist, it
23:33 would have been you.
23:34 >> Well, [laughter] the thing I was the
23:35 most proud of though was the one shot
23:38 though where I where the clown
23:39 disappears. It was all in one shot.
23:41 >> Oh, yeah. Yeah.
23:42 >> Cuz that was basically Darren out of the
23:44 chair.
23:44 >> He He grabs it and he's hiding over
23:46 here. [laughter]
23:47 >> This is so cool, dude.
23:49 >> So, Sean, did they film anything in this
23:51 room? Yeah, there's shots looking out
23:53 this window
23:54 >> when they built the when they built the
23:55 tree there, right?
23:56 >> Yeah, the the tree she told me. Did she
23:58 I actually forgot to talk about it, man.
24:00 >> 6 ft deep.
24:00 >> Yeah,
24:01 >> they built they put the concrete in
24:03 >> Wait a minute. So, were were any of
24:04 these houses here when they filmed the
24:06 >> This one was here. The ones behind were
24:07 not.
24:08 >> Okay. There was no street back there,
24:11 but this house was here.
24:12 >> But they did shoot out these windows and
24:14 like actually use that.
24:15 >> When do they put this gate up?
24:17 >> Gate? Oh, what? Around [laughter] the
24:19 >> She said we we can go in there though.
24:20 She said we go in there.
24:21 >> That's the scarf.
24:22 >> It's It's a replica. It looks like it.
24:25 >> You want to
24:26 >> She went through me.
24:27 >> She went through me. [laughter]
24:34 >> She's got some good stuff. Good props in
24:34 >> Parental bedroom with a little more
24:35 light on the subject. Dude, look at this
24:37 fantasy '8s bathroom.
24:39 >> I'm going to take a a bath in that tub
24:41 later.
24:41 >> You're going to take a bath. Can I join
24:43 you? Shall I? Absolutely.
24:44 >> Because that looks like a comfy tub.
24:45 >> Hop in. That's where the real horror
24:47 begins.
24:48 >> Look at that. [laughter] Look at the
24:49 window.
24:49 >> The bathroom door would or excuse me,
24:53 the Yeah, the hallway door was more over
24:56 here, but there was no door into the
25:00 bathroom from the main bedroom. It was
25:02 This would be the bathroom door here
25:04 that went into the bathroom.
25:07 And then Dana's room would have been
25:10 where the bathroom is here,
25:13 >> right?
25:14 >> But obviously
25:15 >> was a set.
25:16 >> Yeah, it was a set. So,
25:17 >> and what what's your thoughts on the
25:18 staircase? I mean, obviously that was
25:20 downstairs. Most of it was a set, right?
25:22 >> Yeah. But, you know, they just when they
25:26 recreated the set on the on the sound
25:28 stage, they decided to go with a, you
25:30 know, a cooler looking staircase thing.
25:32 That thing's so rickety looking. It
25:34 didn't look like a real one.
25:35 >> Yeah. When Craig T. Nelson runs down it,
25:37 if you think it's going to fall shake.
25:39 Yeah. Craig T. Nelson.
25:41 >> Coach. Good old coach.
25:44 >> She got the same remote, the same TV.
25:46 >> That's why. Yeah, if you watch it when
25:47 he's doing the thing.
25:49 >> Same remote, same model TV.
25:53 >> We're so close to Spawn Ranch that if we
25:55 want like a little midnight field trip,
25:56 we just go cruise over there, you know,
25:58 summon some spirits, get a real polter,
26:01 guys to follow you home and ruin your
26:02 life and ruin your house.
26:03 >> That's all you, man. I'm not going out
26:04 in the those woods.
26:05 >> Okay.
26:05 >> Said you're playing Caroland
26:08 >> helmet on right over the circle.
26:10 >> All right. [laughter]
26:18 >> Now what? Now what? Kevin for science.
26:18 We're going to do stop motion and we're
26:20 going to drag her.
26:22 >> All right. Mine's not going to be as
26:23 good. Mine is just a string
26:25 >> on a chair that's probably going to
26:27 break. That's going to be That might
26:28 work. That might work.
26:29 >> All right. Hold on. Here we go.
26:30 >> Adam's going to get a little action
26:32 right now. Here we go.
26:34 >> Kevin, hold this. Record for me.
26:36 >> Are we in the way right here? Are we in
26:37 the way of the shot?
26:38 >> We need I want it down. Are you ready?
26:40 Ready. Set. Go.
26:42 >> Here we go. All
26:52 right. Ready, set.
26:52 >> Getting reverse angle now.
26:55 >> This is so scary.
26:56 >> No, what what you need to do is you need
26:58 to pull it.
26:59 >> All right, Alison. You got to get it out
27:00 of the
27:01 >> So, now you're going to take my advice
27:02 and do the reverse thing.
27:03 >> Well, I'm going to do it. I'm not going
27:04 to reverse it. I'm just going to do it
27:05 this way.
27:06 >> All right. Ready?
27:07 >> Prop myself out.
27:08 >> Okay. your CGI.
27:12 >> Pay no attention. [laughter]
27:14 >> Pay no attention to this thing not
27:17 Oh, it broke. Shoot. Hold on.
27:24 >> Hold on. Ready.
27:24 It's
27:25 >> happening. Take one.
27:26 >> Take one.
27:27 >> Kevin doesn't want me to film take one.
27:29 We're supposed to practice it, but I'm
27:30 filming it anyway.
27:31 >> Okay. Ready, Alison? You're the mom.
27:34 Here we go. Stacker. Action.
27:48 did you do this?
27:48 All right. How many times have I told
27:49 you kids push these chairs in cuz Eva is
27:52 going to get your food.
27:56 All right,
28:04 Caroline, have I told you this? This TV
28:04 is going to rot your brain.
28:15 I like watching this TV. Mom, you can't
28:15 tell me what to do.
28:18 What's all that noise over there?
28:31 >> Oh,
28:31 Holy smokes. [laughter] AMAZING.
28:38 >> The whole time like their stack
28:42 movies. Great meat, Kevin.
28:45 >> Look at that thing.
28:46 >> That is good.
28:46 >> That thing's got to slide across this
28:48 counter. [laughter]
28:55 >> We're going to slide this meat.
28:55 >> Should probably do this before maybe we
28:56 eat. [laughter]
29:02 >> I got the chicken chicken leg.
29:02 Kevin,
29:03 >> shout out to both the Kevin Deloria
29:05 Kevin and Kevin Hbach for figuring this
29:07 out. Special effects balling on a
29:09 budget. We got a s'mores stick and we
29:11 wrap rope around it. So that's how we're
29:13 going to drag it.
29:14 >> All right. Trying to cover
30:00 CHICKEN.
30:29 >> out
30:29 >> on the meat.
30:29 >> Uh, little quicker with the meat.
30:31 >> Quicker. Speed it up. Was going too
30:33 fast. Pull your meat faster.
30:34 >> All right. Ready, set, go.
31:43 >> That's the thing.
31:45 >> The next next bit.
31:47 >> Say dad. Ask dad. [laughter] Ask dad.
31:52 Ask dad.
32:02 Not. It's not going to stick out. All
32:02 right. Hold on.
32:03 >> I need to see in the mirror. [laughter]
32:07 >> They're creepy.
32:12 >> GO.
32:17 You got to turn this off.
32:17 >> All right.
32:18 >> I got to do it like this. I got
32:21 >> Do you want to jump at the Williams or
32:22 just [laughter] You're going TO BE BY
32:24 YOURSELF?
32:35 KILL. KILL.
32:35 KILL.
32:36 >> Got to go.
32:41 >> Ridiculous.
32:54 >> Now you just eat your teeth. Eat the
32:54 gum.
32:56 Oh [laughter]
32:57 >> Different than HHN.
32:59 >> All right, Justin's going to rip my face
33:00 off with his Spielberg arms. I'm
33:01 >> going to use my these magic hands.
33:04 >> And that cuts the dummy. Right.
33:41 >> the hot tub over here.
33:41 >> So, this is that dramatic scene. The mom
33:43 comes out, runs along the edge right
33:45 here, slips and falls right here, slips
33:48 into the mud,
33:54 and it does start shallow here and ends
33:54 it and ends deep over this way.
33:58 Whoa.
33:59 >> Dude, we've been friends for
34:02 what, 15 years or something. I don't
34:04 think I've ever gone swimming with you
34:05 anywhere.
34:06 >> It's a first time for everything.
34:07 >> I swear I do not think
34:08 >> there'll be any skeletons in here.
34:10 >> I
34:10 >> I think there will be. Spoiler alert.
34:12 Spoiler alert, they're right here. We
34:14 got the skeleton ready.
34:15 >> He doesn't want to go on camera.
34:17 >> He's leaving
34:19 with him.
34:20 >> So, it's just going to be a bunch of
34:22 dudes in the nude.
34:23 >> Someone's got to film you guys.
34:26 >> Oh, I I swim with my camera. I just hold
34:28 it above the water. What? What just
34:30 happened?
34:31 >> What was that?
34:32 >> The tree.
34:33 >> Is that the tree?
34:34 >> It's growing in the ground.
34:36 >> It's just rising up.
34:37 >> Yeah, the tree was right here,
34:38 >> dude. Dude, Adam, there's a ghost
34:41 floaty.
34:42 >> Get the ghost floaty.
34:43 >> There's a ghost floaty.
34:47 >> Ghost floaty. Skeletons.
34:49 >> Yes.
34:56 >> This is wild. Look at this. It's like
34:56 the same angle.
35:07 >> We're going to watch it after.
35:07 >> All right. You ready? Go long, Adam. Go
35:10 along.
35:12 Oh, it's cold. It's cold. [laughter]
35:18 >> The skeletons.
35:18 >> You're going to burnish in first before
35:19 we get in.
35:21 >> Yeah. And then we'll just chill.
35:22 >> You want us to do the skeletons for you?
35:24 >> I think this is good enough. We got
35:26 enough good stuff. People People
35:28 understand. You already did the skeleton
35:29 bit in your video. Make sure you watch
35:31 Malfunction Sean's
35:33 >> very detailed video on this. We
35:35 definitely did two different types of
35:36 videos.
35:38 >> Yes. That's a no. [laughter]
35:39 >> We were in the same spot. But
35:43 you didn't rip baloney off your face.
35:45 >> No, that was dedication.
35:48 >> Oh my gosh, it's getting cold.
35:50 >> It's cold.
35:55 >> Okay. What are we doing when we get in
35:55 here?
36:02 >> Oh, it gets really deep.
36:02 >> Wow. This is deep.
36:05 >> This is deep.
36:15 That's a divot right there.
36:15 That's the [laughter]
36:21 >> You going to the hot tub?
36:21 >> I just want to see how much
36:29 it's going to take a while to warm up.
36:29 >> He's waiting for that tree to grow back.
36:31 >> Hold on.
36:33 Little
36:39 This is where it all happened, right
36:39 here in the deep end.
36:48 It's a good way to end the night.
36:52 >> I just discovered this water is
36:53 incredibly cold.
36:54 >> It's not that bad once you're in,
36:56 Justin.
36:56 >> That's what they always say.
36:57 >> No, it's fine.
36:58 >> Sean's going to come in.
37:01 >> Sean just dove in.
37:04 Feels
37:08 good. It's refreshing.
37:08 >> If you try to slowly go in, you're going
37:10 to be like a water.
37:13 >> It actually feels really good. He's just
37:15 chilling right here.
37:17 >> He's just chilling. I know what this guy
37:19 wants to do. He wants to get on the
37:20 inflatable.
37:23 >> He wants to get on the inflatable here.
37:33 >> That was uncomfortable.
37:33 It is a little chilly in here.
37:34 >> Once you get the nipple in, you're all
37:36 right.
37:38 >> That's pretty good.
37:38 >> Reel the rack real quick.
37:42 >> Can I sit him up? Oh, get away.
37:44 >> Brisk is what it is. It's brisk.
37:51 >> Drag him in.
37:51 >> What are you trying to do?
37:52 >> Trying to sit him up.
37:56 >> Quick. All of a sudden, there was no
37:57 bottom.
37:58 >> Coming in. COME AND GET ME. COME AND GET
38:01 ME.
38:07 >> [cough]
38:07 >> OH my god.
38:08 >> And that right there. Yes, that is a
38:10 real skeleton. That's a real human
38:12 skeleton right here in the pool.
38:14 >> Yep.
38:15 >> Just like in the movie.
38:22 >> What if that thing electrocutes you? Cuz
38:22 it's got the It still has the battery
38:24 pack.
38:24 >> A little bit worried about my hair.
38:35 >> [laughter]
38:35 >> That's pretty.
38:38 This one doesn't like Look at him up. I
38:40 forgot he was I forgot he was up there
38:42 on the diving board.
38:52 >> I thought there was a plan.
38:52 >> You guys are sitting right by that dead
38:54 bird where it was buried.
38:57 Right there. Check it out.
38:59 >> Over here.
38:59 >> One foot.
39:02 >> No feet. Whoa.
39:13 >> Brains.
39:14 >> Oh This guy fell too.
39:19 >> No. Help me. Help me.
39:27 Elmo.
39:27 and glory in my mouth.
39:28 >> NO FEAR ME.

39:39 >> Rad
39:39 put his hand in front of [laughter] the
39:40 camera. No vlogging.
39:42 No filming.
39:44 >> What am I at a convention?
39:46 >> I got overheated in the pool.
39:50 I'm a little hot.
40:09 We ended up watching the movie on VHS
40:09 on an old school TV right here in the
40:12 same room from the house.
40:20 Everyone left
40:20 and I'm going to try to turn in.
40:23 It's quiet in here now.
42:19 It's quiet in this neighborhood
42:19 late at night.
42:22 What an evening. Hung out with a lot of
42:25 friends.
42:27 Saw some interesting things in the
42:29 kitchen. Gave a little tour of the
42:31 house. So, now I'm going to
42:34 go to sleep or I'll try to sleep.
42:37 It's after midnight now.
42:40 And that's going to do it for today.
