0:03 today's adventure begins
0:03 about 10 miles or so outside of
0:06 cooperstown new york looking over some
0:08 horses there in the pasture
0:11 there is a truck
0:12 full of hay
0:14 going down the back roads
0:18 farmland and scenic beauty for as far as
0:21 you can see
0:22 i've departed massachusetts crossed over
0:25 to the new york state line
0:27 and i'm going to the national baseball
0:30 hall of fame
0:32 down this road about 10 miles
0:35 to the tiny community well village
0:39 of cooperstown new york
0:41 welcome everyone adam the woo here as a
0:44 recording of this thursday july 7th
0:47 2022 not 2012. i said 2012
0:53 have you ever been to the baseball hall
0:54 of fame in cooperstown um this is my
0:56 first time in same with me
0:59 we both like the sport of baseball
1:01 both love the tampa bay rays true we
1:04 were talking on the way over here will
1:06 they have anything in there
1:08 team started in 98 it's probably going
1:10 to be a lot of stuff from way back in
1:12 the day will they have anything from the
1:13 rays at all i feel like there might be a
1:16 few couple little relics in there we'll
1:19 see
1:19 i'm staying spoiler free
1:21 find out when we get there i'm inviting
1:23 you to join me and max let's go to
1:26 cooperstown baseball national baseball
1:31 join me
1:33 shall you okay that threw me off and one
1:35 thing this area kind of reminds me of is
1:38 going over to dyersville iowa which is
1:40 where the feel the dreams area is
1:43 you know kind of similar where
1:46 you know
1:47 growing up i always kind of wondered why
1:50 the baseball hall of fame would be not
1:52 really necessarily out in the middle of
1:53 nowhere but it would not be near a major
1:56 metropolis area so it's kind of giving
1:58 me the same kind of vibes as field of
2:00 dreams plus
2:01 the little short court corn stalks here
2:04 kind of add to the ambiance
2:12 beautiful landscape might end up seeing
2:12 a cow or two out here
2:15 i love all these old barns
2:18 look at this is a john deere tractor up
2:20 here as well
2:23 some silos
2:24 nothing runs like a deer now i don't
2:27 want to say oh hello cow i'm going to
2:28 say i don't want to say i called this
2:30 one
2:30 because there was a sign back there
2:32 saying we'd see some cows
2:34 but there are a lot of cows over there
2:37 in that pasture
2:42 they're all huddled up too they're
2:42 actually a couple of
2:43 huddles of cows down there
2:46 and it's nice to get over this area we
2:47 had to take the massachusetts turnpike
2:49 and then go onto a toll road in new york
2:51 and then we veered off so it's nice to
2:53 kind of have less traveled
2:55 road that we're on now we're crossing
2:56 over this bridge and notice as i was
2:59 driving by
3:00 that the original road from way back in
3:03 the 19th century
3:05 is over to the side of the new road with
3:07 the water running underneath it and what
3:09 caught my attention because from the
3:11 roadway you can't really see this
3:12 archway bridge
3:14 but luckily there was a sign here
3:27 see the old rock work there
3:27 making up the arch
3:29 a little
3:31 rusted out piece of metal holding it up
3:33 that is cool
3:45 okay walked over to the the old section
3:45 i was standing right over there
3:47 this big tunnel metal tunnel here where
3:49 the water's going through
3:55 you can see the old guard rail here
3:55 as well
4:03 there is a tablet with a poem by the
4:03 reverend wwe lord
4:06 at the base of a mysterious mound
4:10 through here
4:16 looks like max is trying to
4:16 clean off
4:18 the poem over here
4:24 the base of this mount
4:24 can you read what it says
4:26 is it legible
4:32 white man greeting
4:32 we near whose bones you stand
4:35 were iroquois
4:37 the wide land which now is yours was
4:41 ours
4:42 friendly hands have given back
4:45 to us enough for tomb
4:48 wow
4:50 that's tough to read that though it's so
4:52 faded out
4:54 the last two rows were kind of like had
4:56 grass over them so i had to brush it off
5:04 the mysterious mound
5:04 and this is only about
5:06 a couple blocks from the hall of fame
5:24 it's pretty fancy
5:24 and heading up to the downtown area
5:27 got a two-hour parking
5:32 well paid for two hours of parking here
5:32 along street parking
5:34 and going up to main street
5:36 got the light here traffic light this
5:38 whole town very baseball themed
5:42 corner of chestnut and maine it's old
5:45 signage here the liquor store
5:49 there's a guitar shop
5:50 bookstore this marquee says baseball
5:53 souvenirs and ice cream this whole
5:55 theater up here at 137 main street
5:59 yeah i might have to get a t-shirt and a
6:01 magnet while i'm here
6:03 in
6:05 this town
6:05 the seventh inning stretch
6:07 different memorabilia
6:10 this is an old theater
6:13 this is awesome
6:18 they have just repurposed it with a lot
6:18 of
6:19 baseball merchandise look at this nasty
6:21 nester
6:23 yankees
6:25 the small diner is pretty awesome the
6:27 cooperstown diner
6:29 wow this little tiny building here
6:36 yeah i am loving this town
6:36 what do you think so far
6:38 i think this is the perfect little point
6:41 small town and you changed into your
6:42 double raised jersey thrown that on felt
6:44 like it was only appropriate yeah and
6:46 honestly you got the cowbell max
6:49 in the house or in the village in the
6:51 village this is the village it's not a
6:53 town it's a village cooper's town the
6:54 village of cooper's town go check these
6:56 out
6:57 goofy got mickey pluto and donald has
7:00 puppets
7:01 not really sure what those are and over
7:03 here you got the ivy
7:05 probably not meant to look like wrigley
7:06 but you know it kind of gives you the
7:08 wrigly vibes and also mickey's place
7:10 you know an homage most likely to mickey
7:12 mantle of baseball important to joe
7:14 madden look at this they have the
7:17 baseball cards
7:18 that my mother threw away
7:20 we're just checking the time it's two
7:22 minutes until our allotted time frame
7:24 they kind of do slated
7:26 slated time frame to get in the hall of
7:28 fame so ours is at see what time is it
7:30 it is 258 ours is it three but
7:32 definitely we'll be going back by here
7:34 afterwards i really like this roy hobbs
7:37 jersey right here but look at this it
7:38 has the lightning bolt
7:41 just like from the movie the natural oh
7:42 man that's good this is pretty awesome
7:44 cooperstown do 10 bucks for this shirt
7:48 conveniently located in the middle of
7:50 nowhere
7:52 that's a classic such a cool vibe here
7:54 in this town
7:56 making way now to the entrance of the
7:58 national baseball hall of fame this is
8:01 it it is located in this
8:03 very building right here and directly
8:05 across the street is the post office zip
8:07 code one three three
8:10 two
8:10 six and then looking back down main
8:13 street
8:15 and then of course up here
8:17 it states
8:22 the location national baseball hall of
8:22 fame and museum okay traded in our qr
8:26 codes for this please present ticket 3
8:29 p.m
8:30 thursday july 7 2022
8:32 right here and
8:34 also this guide
8:35 got a little souvenir
8:37 actually i didn't even think about it
8:38 then max that we should probably get a
8:40 paper ticket just for posterity so good
8:42 call thinking about that i got a little
8:43 souvenir we're just told to start on the
8:45 second floor
8:47 and then go to the third floor and then
8:49 back down to the first floor
8:52 so that is the
8:54 that is the method
8:57 we're going to be traversing so we'll go
8:59 up the stairs to the second floor this
9:00 is a holy cow all right
9:02 the employee here was kind enough to let
9:03 us know that there is quite a bit
9:06 of ray stuff
9:09 so there's there's nine different items
9:11 here we gotta find the nine different
9:12 items
9:13 so i was thinking maybe they'd have
9:15 white box three thousand fifth ball but
9:16 they have his jersey
9:18 oh look at this randy's world series bat
9:21 i figured there'd be something for randy
9:22 all right we're going to the second
9:23 floor
9:25 thank you so much yes sir
9:27 enjoy thank you
9:33 going up to the second floor wow race
9:33 stuff all right starting off with
9:35 roberto clemente here and here's the
9:38 the great bambino
9:40 look at this right here this is
9:42 babe ruth with a busting babes
9:45 shirt on right there
9:47 baseball is a ballet without music take
9:50 a look at this back at yankee stadium in
9:52 65 they gave away full louisville
9:54 slugger bats that would never happen
9:56 today give an entire crowd a bunch of
9:59 bats yeah probably not it probably
10:00 wouldn't work and this is definitely the
10:02 famous ty cobb slide
10:04 photo here dated back to july
10:07 of 1910 yeah the bats back in the day
10:10 look like something you'd see in
10:11 medieval times just with the metal kind
10:13 of wrapped around it and this scorecard
10:15 dates back to 1897
10:18 right there baseball's popularity helped
10:20 sell newspapers like the milwaukee daily
10:22 news
10:23 which is shown
10:25 right there so all these kind of
10:26 artifacts when you can start off on the
10:29 going through here this old cincinnati
10:31 jersey here
10:33 there's just going to be a lot of
10:34 artifacts through here i just don't even
10:36 know what to show and what not to show
10:37 it's like almost like completely
10:39 overwhelming now this ball is a
10:40 cigarette lighter it was signed by babe
10:42 ruth and lou gehrig 1934
10:45 signed by a bunch of people including
10:47 those two there's a cigarette lighter
10:49 coming out of the top of it the first
10:50 game to charge admission was back in
10:52 september of 1858
10:54 and this is one of the relics from
10:56 that's kind of been bronzed over to say
10:58 but 1858 the first time admission was
11:01 ever charged to watch a game okay here's
11:03 honda's wagner's complete jersey right
11:06 here
11:08 pirate jersey
11:12 isn't honest wagner the most valuable
11:12 baseball card in existence
11:14 that's a great question i don't know and
11:16 here in this case they have the double
11:18 day baseball used back in 1839 which was
11:22 basically the birth
11:24 of the sport itself you can see it's a
11:27 lot smaller than a modern day these
11:29 shoes were used by three finger brown in
11:32 fact they used the fact that he had
11:34 three fingers to promote
11:36 the match right there okay that is
11:38 pretty much a perfect signature of babe
11:40 ruth and here he is doing the the call
11:42 shot there
11:43 as well or at least their interpretation
11:45 of it and then here this is
11:48 his complete
11:49 jersey the number three kind of pan
11:52 around it still has the number three
11:54 look at that oh that is like
11:57 what am i looking at here that's this
11:58 insane history and also babe ruth's
12:01 bowling ball down here golf ball and
12:04 bat paper ticket to the very first
12:06 all-star game
12:08 1933 and game three of the world series
12:11 back in 1932 was five dollars five bucks
12:14 at wrigley wrigley field and also babe
12:16 ruth's number 60 home run from back at
12:19 yankee stadium back in 27. and this is
12:21 the exact bat that he hit number 57 and
12:24 58 with right there and this exact ball
12:27 he had 500 feet in new haven's
12:30 lighthouse point 500 feet is a long way
12:33 the ted williams ball of a hit out into
12:35 the outfield at fenway was 502 it's a
12:39 that's a launch and over in this locker
12:41 is belong to lou gehrig so this is the
12:44 jersey he wore in his last season not
12:46 only the jersey but also
12:49 his hat right up here
12:52 ball glove and bat
12:54 used by joe dimaggio
13:02 and even down here at the glove here
13:02 have a bronze glove and then also down
13:04 here these these were shoes they do have
13:07 a lot of
13:09 footwear like these shoes worn by pee
13:11 wee reese
13:12 as well as a glove from the no hitter
13:15 back in 1956
13:17 they even have a rockford peaches
13:21 jersey here also south bend
13:24 southbound blue socks what's the south
13:25 village where kiamai is from
13:27 indiana
13:28 i think kevin kirby is from south bend
13:30 he's from indiana
13:41 down here with some of his
13:41 his yogi isms i think they call him you
13:43 just you know if there's a if you come
13:44 to a fork in the road take it i think
13:46 it's one of his famous ones
13:48 this was worn by mickey mantle this
13:50 jersey and yogi berra's
13:53 cap right there
13:57 roger maris
13:58 roger maris wore this jersey in 1961
14:01 when he broke baby's 34 year old single
14:03 season home run record wow this is the
14:05 one he was wearing when maris broke the
14:07 record
14:09 you know i actually met yogi bear once
14:11 are you serious yep i was working at the
14:13 houston astro spring training back in
14:15 the 90s and i met yogi bearers with my
14:17 dad
14:18 i was telling you i was telling you
14:20 about the ghost story yeah
14:22 i was working in this dude's house in
14:25 tampa really and i heard the
14:28 the people that lived there at the time
14:30 were telling me about the robin roberts
14:32 like
14:33 died in that house and like that his
14:35 ghost is still in that house no kidding
14:37 dude this is the ghost encounter i had
14:38 with this guy robin roberts same guy
14:42 and also a batman willie mays
14:44 and his 535th career home run ball
14:48 as well as
14:50 his shoes
14:51 right here that in 1971 he passed
14:55 tris or trice
14:57 speaker i'm not familiar with who that
14:59 is for most career put outs by an
15:00 outfielder
15:01 i know willie mays but i don't know the
15:03 other and when rod carew hit his 3000th
15:05 hit back in august 4th of 85 these were
15:08 the exact batting gloves that he was
15:10 wearing this it's the same ones he had
15:12 on and here are some stadium seats and
15:13 look at this bat being launched over
15:15 here and there's the look of fear on
15:18 some of these in the attendance's
15:20 faces where these seats were from what
15:22 ballpark this was from doesn't say
15:25 maybe just random just as an example oh
15:27 here we go
15:28 cleveland progressive field there we go
15:30 cleveland okay this is awesome number 13
15:33 the big red machine of course johnny
15:35 bench but also pete rose who
15:38 interestingly enough is not in the hall
15:40 of fame and some say we'll probably
15:42 never make it in the hall of fame this
15:43 is a jersey because these shoes belong
15:45 to vince coleman
15:46 this glove
15:48 belonged to dennis eckersley down here
15:52 dump the dh
15:55 well you all know the dump the dh that
15:56 didn't happen because now both leaks
15:58 have a dh okay now this is kind of mind
16:00 blowing this is the pine tar bat
16:03 that george brett used right here in
16:05 fact it says on there that this is the
16:07 pine tar bat
16:08 dated 7 24
16:10 1983
16:19 that is wild the part the pine tar
16:20 incident
16:21 where george brett stormed on to the
16:23 field very
16:24 not happy at all
16:30 that is something else
16:30 kind of looking at the base of it here
16:33 i am just this side
16:34 this is something else it's louisville
16:36 slugger this is the pine tar bat the
16:37 george brown bat you got wade boggs bat
16:40 and also roger clemens boston cap right
16:43 here when he struck out twenty merit is
16:45 a major league record
16:46 that is almost impossible to get 20
16:48 strikeouts in a game that's awesome now
16:50 it's tough for me to pick a favorite
16:51 baseball movie obviously field of dreams
16:54 but also the robert redford movie the
16:56 natural with robert duvall
16:58 man this is this is the one that you
17:00 know carved out of the tree roy hobbs in
17:03 fact it says right here pick me out of
17:05 winter bobby i don't want to give his
17:06 spoilers at the end of it but a very
17:08 climactic ending
17:10 but yeah that's definitely one of my
17:11 favorite baseball movies of all time and
17:13 when it comes to those that i really i
17:15 really love back in the day you know i
17:17 used to like auburn tigers football when
17:19 i was very very young and then bo
17:21 jackson went on to play for the raiders
17:23 and in pro football but he also played
17:25 baseball in the whole bow nose campaign
17:28 which i was you know at that age i was
17:30 really into into beau this is the cat
17:32 from the 1989 all-star game when he hit
17:34 a 450-foot home run
17:37 this is the cap he was wearing
17:39 i used to really love bo jackson so much
17:41 and got the bash brothers over there
17:43 jose canseco and mark maguire but i
17:45 guess they had bumper stickers
17:46 signifying those who were at
17:49 the the stadium during the world series
17:51 in 89 when the earthquake rattled san
17:53 francisco you could get a bumper sticker
17:55 to
17:56 to signify that okay and a few other
17:58 guys who had a lot of monumental home
18:00 runs of course maguire
18:02 sami sosa
18:03 case this is a sign nobody's better than
18:06 canseco oh my god and these are kurt
18:08 schilling shoes from the red sox if you
18:10 could see where he put on this with a
18:12 shark with a grey sharpie
18:14 k for strikeout als right there on the
18:16 side 2004. okay it's like a beacon max
18:20 you've been called over talking about
18:21 expansion teams they have the rey's
18:24 cowbell look at this fired by the famous
18:27 saturday night live skit the tampa bay
18:29 rays began distributing cowbells to bend
18:31 in 2006 louise have even produced a
18:34 special video that explained the
18:36 etiquette of more
18:38 cowbell and the rest is history please
18:40 get a look at the back of this jersey
18:48 that's awesome i am like i have the
18:48 chills right now your cowbell is oh you
18:51 have a larger cowbell than that one and
18:53 speaking of bo jackson there were other
18:55 double play two starts two sport
18:59 stars as well of course
19:00 michael jordan also played in the minor
19:03 leagues for the chicago white sox and
19:04 here's bo's
19:06 jersey from the raiders right there
19:08 number 34 his college number and pro
19:11 number all right now up to level three
19:14 heading in
19:16 entrance into sacred ground
19:20 right here going through the turnstile
19:22 well you can't go through the turnstile
19:24 but and this is home field from
19:26 ebbets field this is home plate from the
19:29 visitors bullpen at ebbet's wait a
19:31 second home plate from the visitors
19:33 bullpen in evansville all right there's
19:35 hank aaron's jersey from the braves at
19:37 44.
19:39 and they even have his locker room
19:42 section from 1974 of course they tore
19:44 the old stadium down in 1996. they took
19:48 this section of the locker room that
19:50 belonged to hank aaron
19:52 and they moved it over into here so this
19:54 is where hank aaron every game would
19:57 change his clothes take his jersey off
19:59 get his hat
20:00 his glove
20:01 right in here and sit down here
20:04 just thinking about that is really
20:06 something else
20:07 so you figure his cap
20:09 would have been
20:11 right there just like that
20:13 so hammer and hank would have taken this
20:15 hat off put it on
20:17 and went out to the field and here is
20:19 wade bogg's 3000th hit jersey right here
20:21 this is the glove that willie mays used
20:23 to make quote the catch
20:26 that's the glove right there
20:29 turning point in the series off of
20:31 southpaw southpaw
20:33 don mitel
20:34 and maze later glove that they gave
20:37 the glove to
20:38 lydell's son and getting into some cards
20:41 i used to collect a lot of baseball
20:42 cards way back in the day anything about
20:44 getting back into it but i don't really
20:45 have a lot of the old cards i used to
20:47 have i never had any from this area like
20:49 this one i never owned i never owned
20:51 that one or for this one used to be able
20:53 to get them out of a vending machine
20:55 three for twenty five dollars and that
20:58 sound is a bite our bicycle spokes
21:00 destroying the cars my dad used to
21:01 always tell me that's what him and my
21:03 uncle his brother would do with their
21:04 baseball cards they put him in the
21:06 bicycles
21:07 he got a clothes pin and a baseball card
21:10 they would make that racket just imagine
21:12 that being a mickey mantle or roger
21:14 maris or yogi bear card in there no one
21:17 would ever know what they were gonna be
21:18 worth
21:20 that's why probably why there was so
21:21 much money now
21:32 oh yeah here's a rosarina's hat her hat
21:35 his back randy rosarina's bat swinging
21:37 this bat to homer in game four the 2020
21:39 world series this is pretty dang cool
21:41 brett phillips shoe from game four which
21:43 i've watched that highlight so many
21:45 times i think randy came around third
21:47 and like tripped went back and then slid
21:49 into home
21:51 okay in this area now
21:53 it looks as if
21:55 every inductee is placed in this level
22:15 oh look at this
22:15 cow rip in there
22:16 goose gossage
22:40 oh yeah
22:40 nolan ryan
22:42 i think him and clemons are probably my
22:43 two favorite pitchers if i had to
22:45 had to pick robin yount
22:48 george brook
22:50 don sutton
22:55 oh even tommy with a sword look at this
22:55 there's there's tommy loser
23:04 this hallway's pretty neat so you have
23:04 like the etching with the sun going
23:06 through and it projects down onto this
23:09 carpet so you see you got the base
23:11 runner here and you got the base runner
23:12 on the carpet as well here's someone
23:14 fielding play
23:16 here's like
23:17 someone waiting for a ground ball and
23:19 you got the etching on the carpet and
23:20 outside this window they have it set up
23:22 with the pitcher and catcher 60 feet six
23:24 inches over there and then over here
23:26 she's doing a little batting the swing
23:27 in the bat as well these little
23:29 sculptures out here in this line outside
23:30 the window i'm inside looking and the
23:32 gift shop they have quite an assortment
23:34 of different items that you can purchase
23:37 different teams different players
23:38 different numbers
23:49 and they even have bigly chew
23:56 oh look at this here's a race i've never
23:56 seen this
24:11 lou gehrig
24:11 jackie robinson
24:13 and roberto clemente
24:25 all right now we're going to walk around
24:25 a little bit more this is pretty neat
24:27 this look this motel and choir here is
24:30 shaped like a bat
24:32 which is pretty awesome nothing has seen
24:34 some years
24:35 i guess you could stay here
24:37 along the main street
24:40 gotta go put some more money in the
24:41 meter they only let you do two hours at
24:42 a time which is kind of interesting so
24:44 i'm gonna go back over to my car put
24:45 some money in the meter and then we're
24:46 just going to walk around town and they
24:48 even have a trolley that goes through
24:50 town
24:51 while not through town through the
24:52 village
24:53 the village of cooperstown
25:06 and at 106 main street pioneer sports
25:06 card established 18.99
25:09 let's see what they have in here
25:17 all right i gave it to temptation and
25:17 went ahead and got a few cards there i
25:19 got
25:20 with the 87 donors bow
25:22 here's the only bow rookie he had but i
25:24 think i'm gonna start collecting cards
25:26 again definitely
25:27 gonna get the ones i used to have i
25:29 didn't want to splurge with 120 on the
25:32 upper deck 89 king griffey jr i kind of
25:34 brought back memories but i got a few
25:36 wanders
25:37 i went with an assortment of
25:39 wanders including his a
25:41 durham bulls one there too got tops
25:44 and don richtow tops genres rated rookie
25:48 and then i got the
25:50 new age performers i figured these are a
25:51 good investment i'll just kind of put
25:53 these in the closet somewhere and hang
25:55 on to them and then over time i'll just
25:57 keep accumulating some cards i kind of
25:59 do this with disney pins too where i
26:00 just buy a bunch and kind of put them
26:02 off to the side and forget about them
26:03 and then
26:04 later on i might have something to value
26:06 man it's just kind of fun to do plus i
26:08 really like wander front i was there for
26:09 his first home run
26:10 at tropicana field his very first game
26:13 getting called up from aaa so
26:15 pretty neat might as well get the cards
26:16 right okay i went back in and walked
26:18 around and i found this rosarina
26:20 rookie and these have also been graded
26:23 this one is at mint
26:24 and this one is at mint as well uh bo
26:27 jackson future star so i went ahead and
26:29 got both of these as well and the price
26:32 on there even though 39 the guy in the
26:34 shop working the owner cut me a lot
26:36 better deal than this so it this this is
26:38 not what i always ended up charging
26:40 probably because i bought all the other
26:41 cars too but it got me a pretty good
26:42 deal pretty good and they're in the
26:43 cases and they're graded and they're in
26:45 mint condition and i couldn't pass up
26:46 the clemens rookie
26:47 right here
26:49 i think nolan ryan and columbus are my
26:52 two favorite pitchers one day i'll get a
26:53 nolan ryan rookie but
26:56 not really in my budget at the moment
26:58 i had assumed that the heroes of
27:00 baseball wax museum
27:02 would be open
27:04 but at the moment at this hour
27:07 they are not
27:09 even though cal ripken is right there
27:13 wax museum is closed folks
27:15 cal brook canal french should have told
27:17 you
27:18 look it's kind of good i thought that
27:21 was an actual person
27:23 it's not really cow rook someone just
27:25 walked by and they said that the wax
27:27 museum will close when the foot traffic
27:29 slows down and the foot traffic is
27:31 slowing down even though i thought i
27:32 read online they're open until nine
27:34 but evidently not so they open back up
27:35 at nine in the morning but i'll be long
27:37 gone by there also is a baseball stadium
27:40 here as well so we're gonna walk over
27:42 to the baseball stadium after the ball
27:44 game the next big attraction is smallies
27:46 theater first best
27:49 amusement
27:50 also next to smally sandwiches and over
27:53 here is double day field off in the
27:56 distance
27:57 walk over here and see
27:59 see what's going on in double day field
28:01 and standing out front is this sculpture
28:09 oh from the sandlot
28:09 right there
28:11 got the bat
28:13 up to the plate
28:15 the clouds behind them there
28:18 going barefoot
28:20 on the sand lot
28:22 that's another great baseball movie
28:24 there's a lot of great baseball movies
28:26 grand slam guitars
28:28 and the guitars have to get the dodgers
28:30 here you got the yankees
28:32 you got the red socks on this acoustic
28:35 almost electrical you got the yankees
28:44 and heading back to my car
28:44 gonna try to drive for three or four
28:47 more hours this evening catch up on some
28:48 time head to the next destination
28:51 i'm glad we checked out cooperstown
28:59 the national baseball hall of fame
28:59 located
29:00 a block or two away from the corner of
29:01 main street
29:03 and chestnut street
29:05 here in this tiny community
29:08 the mecca this is like a baseball town
29:11 everything here is about baseball the
29:13 theming the stores the experiences the
29:16 wax museum that was not open
29:18 i had to return one day

29:32 some old wander um minor league cards

29:43 too oh you got you got shane too you
29:45 were looking for a bunch of different
29:46 chains but
29:47 he's becoming uh he's becoming a star
29:50 right before everyone's eyes so that
29:51 people want to buy up those cards we're
29:53 sent again so is wander but it was tough
29:55 to find shane today
29:58 pretty neat we scored some cards
30:00 in cooperstown
30:02 what'd you think of your cooperstown
30:03 experience
30:04 honestly man it's um it's been really
30:07 humbling like just walking around like
30:09 soaking up all the vibes it's been
30:12 it's been a dream come true
30:14 but we did it
30:15 i've always wanted to come here
30:17 my whole life people always say you've
30:18 ever been to cooperstown said never been
30:20 there
30:21 and now if they ever bring that up again
30:23 i'll be able to say i've been there

30:46 appropriate jersey not a teaspoonful
30:48 t-shirt you were an appropriate jersey
30:50 i mean how more fitting is that
30:53 did you know
30:55 that lou gehrig
30:57 never
30:59 lived in that house
