0:18 Disney World to activate my new annual

0:21 pass they do not do renewals on the

0:23 premium passport Coast to Coast Walt

0:25 Disney World and Disneyland the four

0:28 Parks here and the two parks at

0:29 Disneyland

0:30 which I have had since last year and it

0:33 expired Wednesday night I had to get a

0:34 new one and I even though I have the

0:36 card I had to

0:38 activate I'm getting very excited

0:40 because I I am very bewildered by this

0:43 whole confusion of the annual pass

0:46 conundrum but I have the pass it's in my

0:48 wallet right here it's in my wallet that

0:51 is held together with stickers and

0:54 goodness and I am going up today to

0:56 activate that and do some insane Park

0:58 hopping today I'm going to go to Magic

1:00 Kingdom I'm going to go to Epcot I'm MGM

1:01 Studios hopefully buy some Epcot

1:03 merchandise and stuff yesterday I went

1:05 on the Tom and Dan show which will be

1:07 airing on Real Radio 104.1 in Orlando

1:09 tonight or you can just Google Tom and

1:12 Dan or look up Real Radio 104.1 on your

1:16 radio dial in Florida or look it up on

1:18 the internet 700 p.m. tonight it 700

1:21 p.m. tonight it will be streaming on the

1:24 website and it will be airing live on

1:28 your radio dial so pretty cool to go on

1:30 there they gave me a t-shirt as well had

1:32 a good time hanging out with those guys

1:34 I want to talk about a

1:36 memory let's go back actually before we

1:38 talk about the memory let's talk about

1:39 the Disney World Disneyland pass they do

1:41 not actually renew a Disney premium

1:46 passport which is good for all four

1:47 Parks here in Orlando and then the two

1:50 parks at Disneyland Resort which is

1:51 where I now live in Anaheim you have to

1:54 actually get a whole new pass so my pass

1:56 on Wednesday night expired I did not go

1:58 to the parks yesterday and then today

2:00 I'm actually going to activate this new

2:02 pass so cross your fingers hopefully it

2:05 works and then when I get back to

2:06 Disneyland I have to activate it there

2:09 so it's kind of confusing it is not I

2:12 realized this when I spent an hour at

2:14 the ticket booth discussing with the

2:17 cast member the how the ins and outs of

2:19 all of it whether my magic band would

2:21 work anymore I have to reconnect my

2:23 magic band I have my my uh Mickey magic

2:27 band here from Steamboat Willie I have

2:28 to reconnect my photo pass so there a

2:31 little bit of difficulty but I think all

2:33 that will be clarified today so I will

2:36 actually technically have two annual

2:38 passes one of them is deactivated but I

2:41 will still have an annual pass which is

2:42 kind of bizarre and then I'll have the

2:44 new one that I will start using which

2:46 kind of looks like a credit card doesn't

2:47 have the characters on it like the

2:49 regular annual passes do it's kind of a

2:51 weird weird looking annual pass let's

2:55 talk about memories let's talk about my

2:59 past these Vlogs in this last week even

3:01 though I've been here in Florida and I

3:03 have been going to the Disney parks

3:05 quite a bit I've been trying to lay low

3:08 and not post too much Disney content on

3:11 the Vlog Channel because I like to mix

3:14 it up the whole goal of these Vlogs is

3:16 to bring you insight into my life as

3:18 well as show you random wonderful things

3:21 whether it be movie locations whether it

3:23 be abandoned places whether it be

3:25 memories in my life whether it be theme

3:27 parks whether it be Disney Universal

3:29 anything today's Vlog is going to be a

3:33 memory of my young adult life I've

3:37 always loved movies I've always been a

3:40 fan of 80s movies back from peewee's big

3:42 adventure and Back to the Future all the

3:44 John Hughes class classics classics

3:49 classics

3:50 classics all of those movies had a huge

3:54 impact in my life and I consider myself

3:57 a self-proclaimed afficionado

4:00 of 1970s and 1980s and maybe even early

4:05 1990s

4:07 1990s films why am I like stuttering so

4:09 much I think it's because I have not

4:11 properly caffeinated

4:13 myself I always wanted to work in a

4:15 video store I actually did work in a

4:17 video store for a little bit a place

4:19 called video Center up in CMI Florida

4:21 which is the the basically the Twin

4:22 Cities of St Cloud but around that same

4:26 time when I moved back here to St Cloud

4:29 from semi there was another video store

4:31 that I felt I could actually add my

4:35 expertise in the movie in the movie

4:38 genre into and help out customers

4:41 customers that come in and say hey do

4:42 you have a recommendation I am full of

4:45 recommendations especially in the 1970s

4:47 1980s and

4:49 1990 films I know a lot about movies

4:52 because I am a nerd when it comes to

4:53 films and I thought what better way for

4:56 me to help out the video renting

4:58 community than to get a job at this

5:02 Blockbuster video that used to be right

5:17 here as you can see the building is now

5:17 completely abandoned actually let's get

5:19 out of the car let's actually take it a

5:21 step further and actually get out of the

5:24 vehicle and walk over there so it is now

5:27 Story Time with Adam the wood

5:30 I'm just going to leave the window down

5:31 this seems like a pretty safe

5:32 neighborhood there's really no one

5:35 around here so basically I always wanted

5:36 to work at a video store and I decided

5:40 to cater my energies towards applying

5:43 for a job right through these doors my

5:47 qualifications I think were pretty good

5:50 if the manager that was in there asked

5:52 me some trivia about films or if I had

5:54 worked in a video store before which I

5:57 had already had prior experience and I

5:59 gave gave him the wealth of knowledge

6:01 that this 80s mind has when it comes to

6:04 films who was in certain movies who

6:07 directed them what production company

6:09 what studio made them who the extras

6:11 were all of that stuff I used to

6:13 actually when I worked at the first

6:14 video store up in CMI I used to read

6:16 this book called the movie Hound which

6:17 was before Wikipedia before IMDb The

6:22 Internet Movie Database this is before

6:24 the internet I would study this massive

6:26 book that would come out every year and

6:28 I would see who would in this movie kind

6:30 of like a six degre of Separation type

6:32 of thing for films so I felt pretty

6:35 confident when walking inside of this

6:39 Blockbuster Video to get a job as I

6:42 walked in the manager soon as I walked

6:45 in Saw My Tattoos and immediately gave

6:50 me the mean mugging eyes immediately I

6:52 knew this was not going to go very well

6:57 so I said I would like to get an

6:58 application I told him my qualification

7:01 my experience working at the other video

7:03 store my knowledge that I have of films

7:06 and how I could help out his business

7:08 maybe either adding on other movies

7:10 maybe someone wanted to get a new

7:11 release I could add on a couple a couple

7:13 other movies to actually boost up the

7:16 sales and just to share my love of film

7:19 with the general population of St Cloud

7:22 Florida but he had other things in his

7:25 mind based on the way I looked when I

7:28 walked in and he was very rude to me

7:30 very negative to me and the whole time

7:33 he's staring at my tattoos which is very

7:35 ironic because one of my tattoos on my

7:38 leg is a full back to the future scene I

7:41 have Doc Brown I have the clock tower I

7:43 have the

7:44 plutonium suit I have the flux capacitor

7:48 and all that and I even told him look I

7:50 have movie tattoos on my body I know a

7:53 thing or two about movies but he was not

7:57 he was not persuaded by what I was

8:00 telling him and that is fine in Dandy

8:03 everyone has to make their decisions he

8:05 did not hire me nor did he call me he

8:07 probably threw my application away even

8:09 though I spent all the time filling it

8:12 out inside those walls probably tossed

8:15 it as soon as I walked back to my van

8:17 and took off of course I'm driving a

8:19 rental car today tomorrow I'm actually

8:20 flying back to Los Angeles so this time

8:22 tomorrow you'll be seeing a vlog from

8:25 Orange County California or from LAX

8:27 depending on whatever time I get there

8:29 but I will be in California today I'm in

8:31 Florida sharing one last memory here at

8:35 3300 it's in this shopping center and

8:38 actually the ironic thing is there's a

8:40 wind Dixie down here wind Dixie grocery

8:43 store and I actually worked at that wind

8:45 Dixie grocery store one year for an

8:48 entire year I was a frozen food and

8:50 dairy manager right down there so they

8:53 hired me the gentleman who was the

8:56 manager at this Blockbuster did not deem

9:00 my qualifications worthy and the moral

9:04 to this story is I have since moved on

9:07 in my life I have since documented

9:09 filming locations I have since shared my

9:13 knowledge of movies with the world

9:15 hopefully willingly the people who watch

9:17 my Vlogs enjoy the knowledge of the

9:19 movies that I put out there the joy

9:21 that's in my heart I can share that into

9:24 you into your heart and Minds

9:26 vicariously the moral to the story is

9:30 I'm still moving forward I'm still

9:31 experiencing my love of movies by going

9:34 to filming locations documenting all

9:36 that and Blockbuster

9:38 Video has seen a different fate

9:41 Blockbuster Video is no more so you

9:46 never know the way the tide will turn

9:51 sir talking about the gentleman who was

9:53 Behind These doors who did not give me a

9:55 chance to work in his fine establishment

10:00 now he does not work in this fine

10:03 establishment so you never know do not

10:04 judge people by their appearance when

10:07 they walk in at least give them the time

10:09 of day to actually communicate and

10:11 actually have a conversation with them

10:13 instead of immediately making your

10:16 decision not hearing what they say not

10:19 caring so that's basically the moral of

10:21 the story wanted to share this

10:23 interesting little story here at this

10:36 Video and it looks like it actually

10:38 became a movie gallery after this has

10:40 probably been 10 years ago but you can

10:50 gallery so actually after Blockbuster

10:50 closed it became a movie gallery as well

11:05 interesting it's crazy to think how many

11:07 different video stores have come and

11:09 gone all over the country it's weird

11:11 because there is actually a movie store

11:14 near where I live in near Anaheim Orange

11:16 County California and I wonder how long

11:18 that's going to still be there and then

11:19 where my sister lives in Indiana there's

11:21 actually a video store there that still

11:22 rinse DVDs very bizarre because red box

11:25 has taken over red box has been very

11:27 smart they realize that people only want

11:29 new releases so they just put the new

11:31 releases 10 or 15 new releases in a box

11:34 and that has pretty much destroyed the

11:36 video renting Community this former

11:39 Blockbuster video that then became a

11:42 movie gallery and then that closed
