0:04 just waking up hotel's right over there

0:08 I'm sitting in the van waiting for the

0:10 guys to show up we played our 16th show

0:13 in a row last night tonight is night 17

0:16 tomorrow will be 18 and we finally have

0:19 one day off before going back and

0:21 playing four or five more shows before

0:24 tour ends did I say it was a daily woo

0:27 it's the daily woo

0:31 you might wonder why I'm not out

0:33 gallivanting around showing you

0:35 something amazing in the area that I'm

0:37 in I'm currently in Ann Arbor Michigan

0:41 just outside Detroit not far from

0:43 Detroit a little bit West of Detroit the

0:47 reason I'm not on quote unquote location

0:50 today is because I really do not have

0:52 the time to go out today per se and film

0:56 something quickly and get it uploaded

0:57 before we leave the hotel we have had to

1:00 check out kind of early so did not have

1:02 time to venture off there were a couple

1:04 things I wanted to see but one of the

1:06 things about tour touring in a band is

1:10 the fact that you really don't have a

1:12 lot of time to yourself which means not

1:14 a whole lot of time to go around and see

1:17 all the things the wonderful things that

1:20 I really want to see which is part of

1:23 the reason why I started doing videos to

1:25 begin with years ago it's easy for me to

1:28 tour by myself in my own van and sleep

1:31 in my van and travel around the reason

1:34 it's easy is because I've always been

1:38 not always but I've always had the

1:39 mentality a punk rock mentality and I'm

1:42 playing in punk rock bands and touring

1:45 around the countryside with a group of

1:47 people playing shows so it's very easy

1:50 to transcend into playing not playing

1:53 but into venturing off by myself and

1:56 doing my own deal and I must say I

1:58 definitely prefer doing my own deal

2:01 filming videos going at my own pace

2:04 there's two separate things I'm very

2:05 blessed to be doing what I'm doing

2:08 playing in a band playing in front of a

2:10 crowd is very very fantastic but I do

2:13 definitely enjoy being on my own and

2:16 doing my own thing a lot more that's the

2:18 hotel right over there so we're going to

2:21 call this Vlog what's it like to be in a

2:24 band a touring

2:26 band not a band that just plays like not

2:29 like a band plays on the weekends like a

2:31 HomeTown hero type band hey once a month

2:34 we're going to play a show all our

2:35 friends are going to come out it's going

2:36 to be a good time that's one level of

2:39 being in a band but another level is

2:41 doing it almost like as a career or a

2:44 job a touring National act band that

2:47 just constantly tours what is that like

2:50 well I'm going to share you a share a

2:52 few things with you about what it is

2:55 like to be in a band like that basically

2:57 here is the schedule a lot people go

2:59 what do you do every day what are you

3:01 just sitting around yes a lot of it is

3:04 sitting around basically it goes like

3:05 this wake up in the morning usually

3:08 around 9 10:00 try to go get up go out

3:11 find something to film local in the area

3:14 a lot of times I just end up filming

3:16 around a hotel or down in here or get a

3:20 little squirly the woo something like

3:23 that because a lot of times I don't have

3:24 time to venture off a lot of times I do

3:26 so when you watch these daily Vlogs if I

3:28 say I'm on tour normally I'm out in a

3:31 location very hurriedly because I'm

3:34 waiting for the rest of the group to

3:37 check out of the hotel so I only have a

3:39 very limited amount of time and the

3:41 reason I try to get the Vlogs up early I

3:43 call it the daily woo I want to get the

3:45 Vlogs up super early get them uploaded

3:47 give everybody a chance to watch them in

3:51 time I don't want to do it late in the

3:52 day cuz some people get kind of confused

3:54 they go where's the Vlog they always

3:55 start posting on my Facebook or my

3:57 Instagram where's the daily Vlog so

3:59 always try to get it uploaded around

4:01 noon around 100 p.m. us time if I'm in

4:05 California it's a little more difficult

4:07 because California the hours are

4:09 different let's say it's noon in

4:11 California it would be 3 and 4:00

4:13 already in Florida so if you're watching

4:16 in Florida or on the East Coast all the

4:18 way up the East Coast it's 400 p.m. when

4:21 it's noon or 1 in California so

4:23 technically if I waited till 3: or 400

4:26 p.m. to do a daily Vlog it' be very

4:28 difficult to call it the daily woo when

4:31 it's starting to be dark in Florida does

4:34 that make any sense I know I'm confusing

4:35 I'm ranting I'm raving around just

4:38 trying to share some input a lot of

4:40 people ask these questions this is a Q&A

4:43 about being in a band on tour so

4:46 basically we wake up in the morning

4:48 around this time when I say wake up it's

4:50 really not from a full night sleep it's

4:52 basically just from the fact that you've

4:55 only got about 3 or 4 hours of sleep

4:57 because the night before we played a

4:59 show

5:00 usually the show ends around one or two

5:01 a lot of times we'll play Smokey bars

5:04 venues a lot of those venues of course

5:06 they want to make alcohol sales so they

5:08 want the show to run till about 2:00 so

5:11 normally we will play till around 1:00

5:13 we're usually the band that plays pretty

5:15 much close to last they call it the

5:17 headlining band there'll be a few local

5:19 bands on the ACT we will headline the

5:22 show normally or maybe play second to

5:25 last and then the that way when we get

5:28 out of the club it's already 1 2 p.m. by

5:31 the time we load all the equipment in

5:33 the trailer see that trailer back there

5:35 look

5:37 trailer we get all the equipment loaded

5:39 in the trailer Drive 5 or 10 miles to a

5:42 hotel an inexpensive hotel that the the

5:46 band has booked all together share hotel

5:48 rooms so it's all right by that time

5:50 it's 3 or 4:00 I usually try to take a

5:53 shower because I'm usually hot and

5:54 sweaty a lot of smoke from the crowd has

5:58 infiltrated your body a lot of dirty get

6:00 a lot of people hugs shake a lot of

6:02 hands there a lot of sickness going

6:04 around naturally that's why I still have

6:05 a sore throat so I try to take a shower

6:07 before I go to bed sometimes I'm not

6:09 even asleep till 4:30 sometimes even

6:11 5:00 in the morning that's a rarity it's

6:13 usually between 3 and 5 a.m. I'm usually

6:17 in bed sleeping and then we have to

6:19 check out at 11:00 so I usually try to

6:21 wake up around 9 a.m. 2 hours before

6:24 checkout so I try to figure out when

6:25 this checkout wake up a couple hours go

6:28 film a vlog very quickly find something

6:31 interesting to film upload it get on the

6:35 computer do a few things do a few online

6:37 things answer a couple emails try to

6:38 reply to some comments and then into the

6:42 van into this van right here we venture

6:46 off usually on average we have anywhere

6:49 between a 300 and a 450 Mile Drive every

6:52 day so you do the math basically on how

6:55 long that would be to be sitting in a

6:58 van so usually I'll be on my on my phone

7:00 I'll charge it up on this little phone

7:02 charger here plug the little cord into

7:04 there I'll sit over here here mess

7:07 around on my iPhone my smartphone go on

7:10 Instagram take some Instagram pictures

7:12 kill some time like that can't really do

7:14 any editing in the van if you try to

7:16 edit on a laptop for my main Channel

7:18 which I do have another video for my

7:20 main Channel coming soon I'm just trying

7:23 to find the time to finish editing it

7:26 and getting all that done hopefully in

7:27 the next couple days it's a f fantastic

7:30 video for my main channel so those have

7:31 been asking where's the next Adam the

7:32 woo video Adventure coming soon to my

7:37 YouTube channel sir or I'll be driving

7:40 like yesterday I drove all day yesterday

7:42 for about 7 hours so basically like I

7:44 was saying check out the hotel we go get

7:46 lunch we usually get a sit down lunch

7:48 somewhere for a half hour to an hour

7:50 that's our little me time when I say me

7:52 time I mean the whole band's time being

7:55 in a band it's kind of like being in a

7:56 relationship with four or five other

7:58 people there's a whole group of people

8:00 you've all got to make the conscious

8:01 decision to do everything together so

8:03 basically you know how difficult that is

8:06 when you're with one other person they

8:07 want to eat somewhere you don't usually

8:09 there's like a little bit of controversy

8:11 you don't no don't want to know where to

8:13 eat you don't know what decision to make

8:15 that's what it's like basically being

8:17 with five or six other it's like being

8:18 in Camp for an entire weeks and weeks

8:21 and weeks what do you guys want to eat

8:23 not that you're really deciding that at

8:25 Camp usually the camp cook decides it

8:27 but there is no Camp cook here we just

8:29 drive along try to figure out what are

8:31 we going to eat so we end up

8:33 compromising eating somewhere getting

8:35 the road drive drive drive drive drive

8:37 drive driving that's my hand driving get

8:40 to the venue load in sit around get

8:43 ready to play play all the AFF mention

8:46 stuff so that's basically the gist of

8:48 what I do on tour and I'm very blessed

8:51 to be doing what I'm doing to be in a

8:53 band like this is awesome I love playing

8:56 music I love playing on stage but

8:58 sometimes I've got to be hon honest it's

9:00 very difficult especially since you guys

9:01 are expecting me to do epic daily Vlogs

9:05 and of course the adventure channels

9:07 sometimes it's difficult when I go out

9:08 for two or three weeks at a time to try

9:11 to find fantastic places to Vlog about

9:14 so here's the question to you do you

9:16 guys think I'm doing an accurate acute

9:19 job of trying to find awesome places on

9:22 the road while on tour in that time

9:27 differential difficultness so look back

9:30 on the last three or 4 weeks literally

9:32 I've been on tour for 3 weeks so far and

9:35 I think I've been doing an okay job of

9:36 finding some cool stuff there is some

9:38 cool stuff in this area honestly did not

9:40 have enough time today to venture off

9:43 I've literally got to go get my bags

9:44 from the hotel jump back down here check

9:47 outs in a few minutes so I want to know

9:49 what you guys think about this Vlog what

9:52 do you think about what I've just told

9:53 you what do you think about the past

9:55 three weeks of Vlogs and what do you

9:58 think about the future

10:00 part of me is really thinking about

10:02 siding back towards definitely just

10:04 cruising around by myself I'm not really

10:06 sure how much longer I'm be doing the

10:08 band thing I definitely enjoy it but I

10:10 think it's kind of inching its way into

10:13 what I do the Adam the woo videos and of

10:16 course the daily woo videos it's great

10:18 being around going around traveling

10:20 being able to find stuff but the time

10:22 factor is very difficult so that's

10:24 weighing in my head don't tell anybody

10:27 but that is weighing in my head time if

10:32 only I had more time what am I talking

10:35 about I have a time machine I have all

10:37 the time in the world I wish I wish this

10:40 was Back to the Future one thanks for

10:42 listening to this I don't very very

10:43 often do I rant I wouldn't even really

10:45 call this a rant very often do I delve

10:48 off into subjects like this I want to

10:50 know what you guys think now you know

10:52 what it's like to be in a band it's

10:54 really cool though because I talked to

10:55 the other guys in the band and they

10:56 bring up a good point being in a band a

10:59 touring band is something less than 1%

11:03 of the population of the world I would

11:04 say

11:05 0.0001% of the world does gets on planes

11:09 flies to different locations plays shows

11:11 or drives around the countryside playing

11:13 shows every night it's fantastic it's

11:17 definitely a blessing I've got two

11:19 blessings actually I have the band as a

11:21 blessing and I also have the Adam the

11:23 woo Channel and the daily woo Channel as

11:26 a blessing the question is which

11:29 blessing should be chosen and which

11:32 blessing should take over the

11:35 priorities very good question Adam and

11:37 now I'm asking you which one would you

11:42 choose I'm asking you a question ma'am

11:45 or child a child might not be able to

11:47 comprehend this this is a deep subject

11:49 for a child but I have a childlike brain

11:53 yet I'm an adult so the question is how

11:57 many questions am I going to ask why

11:58 don't your ask some more questions Adam
