0:30 Starfleet Academy was didn't you know

0:33 what Star Trek is I do and you know all

0:35 the original Star Trek series and then

0:38 Voyager Star Trek next generation and

0:40 all that but you do not call yourself a

0:43 self-proclaimed aficionado of Star Trek

0:46 admits definitely not let even close to

0:49 that so I had to twist your arm this

0:51 morning me and you drove up here because

0:53 I have been wanting to see this for

0:55 quite some time this is used in two

0:59 three maybe even four different Star

1:02 Trek movies and TV series as the

1:05 Starfleet Academy ready for this day I'm

2:26 cool about this is is they make you feel

2:29 like you are not on planet earth or you

2:32 are in San Francisco like I was telling

2:38 you can actually see the Golden Gate

2:44 building and this is actually the

2:46 Tillman water treatment facility and

2:49 this is the back side of it and if you

2:52 were just going to get a tour of the

2:54 treatment facility you would have no

2:55 idea that this beautiful place exists

2:59 and it's beautiful on it in its own

3:00 right because you actually pay five

3:02 dollars each for the two of us it was

3:04 ten dollars they give you this map and

3:06 they give you this guide map and this

3:08 little brochure telling you the history

3:10 and what the trees are what the animals

3:13 are what everything in this area is

3:15 called I do not want to actually digress

3:20 one reason the pop culture aspect of

7:41 Academy and majestic property very cool

7:44 look at that that is awesome

7:48 so many scenes from Star Trek were

7:52 filmed out here a lot of the characters

7:54 running around this little circular

7:56 walkway a lot of these trees and shrubs

7:59 can all be seen and of course this which

8:01 is very super futuristic I could

8:03 definitely see why they use that mini

8:07 version of this really would you have

8:12 that little thing that the axis sounds

8:14 like a snake that would startle me every

8:15 time I came over to your house I think I

8:16 would actually have Gators that would

8:18 jump out at you to be pretty cool you're

8:20 gonna you're gonna transplant Gators

8:21 from Florida all the way over to

8:23 California to scare the snot out of me

8:29 that looks like the Starfleet Academy

8:30 over there in the background gonna go

8:38 remembers that from Star Trek the crane

8:40 the crane there in the background but if

8:43 the crane was not there at the bird the

8:45 crane but an actual crane there is an

8:49 actual crank look at this there's a

8:51 crane a white bird and there's an actual

8:54 crane a construction crane but if that

8:56 crane was not there you would

8:58 feel like you were not even in the

9:02 enrolled a vibe kind of of its own the
