0:03 welcome everyone Adams a whoo here today
0:03 number six of this series a new series
0:07 where I look back on my past that has
0:10 been documented on the platform of
0:13 YouTube we have had some laughs we have
0:16 had some frivolous moments but today
0:18 take it down a notch I'm inviting you to
0:21 join me on a very it was kind of a
0:24 somber moment back in October of 2016
0:30 the 5th of that month day number 1557 of
0:37 my continuous daily vlogs out in
0:40 nineteen hundred and eleven nice shot
0:43 here of the Sun rising I got it very
0:46 early there comes the van the freakin
0:53 van okay it's already starting off a
0:57 little bit on the non joyous side before
1:01 we really get in deep into this subject
1:03 matter I may just point out a few things
1:06 here for whatever reason I had this
1:10 baseball in bloom on the front of it
1:12 I've always loved baseball in fact when
1:15 I was very young growing up into my
1:17 teenage years I wanted to be a
1:19 professional baseball player the only
1:22 reason that did not happen is because I
1:24 did not have the initiative the the
1:27 gumption or a talent to achieve this
1:32 goal but I always loved I always loved
1:36 that sport
1:46 and let me tell you this decision is a
1:46 tough one it's my second channel daily
1:49 vlog from already I'm already starting
1:51 to remember doing this I haven't watched
1:53 SSI uploaded as it's been gosh it has
1:56 been four and a half years I don't even
2:02 know what to say in this video
2:11 Wow
2:11 just shy of two hundred thousand miles I
2:14 had on the van a little back story of
2:17 how the van came to fruition it was in a
2:20 local punk band by the name of TNT out
2:24 of st. Cloud Orlando Florida we were
2:25 kind of all spread out around the state
2:27 and we did not have a tour van so I step
2:31 up stepped up to the plate as you will
2:33 depict that baseball-reference and
2:34 purchase this via my monthly payments I
2:37 still remember because I did not have
2:39 very good credit at that time for $440 a
2:42 month I believe this for five years and
2:45 I kind of got myself in a little bit of
2:48 a financial hole that was very difficult
2:51 working my normal 40-hour League
2:53 low-paying job to afford an apartment on
2:56 my own and the van which stemmed into me
3:02 selling my stuff quitting my job is
3:04 starting to travel to do these YouTube
3:07 videos a whole other subject but I
3:09 turned a stressful situation into a
3:12 positive situation okay that's good so I
3:16 stayed here I'd forgotten this in March
3:18 of 2007 is when I purchased the van and
3:21 I'm stating here it had a little under a
3:24 thousand miles I put 197 thousand miles
3:28 this transportation device changed my
3:33 life completely and I would not be here
3:36 doing what I'm doing if it was not for
3:39 this if it was not for this item
3:42 this was a huge you
3:44 artemiy when I bought it in 2006 Ford
3:48 e-150 this is going to be very emotional
3:51 for me in fact effect like get a little
3:54 misty-eyed because this will be the last
3:57 day
4:09 may have kept with the glasses art I'm
4:09 absolutely convinced that
4:16 because of this piece of machinery have
4:16 a iterate myself here
4:28 and completely altered my life changed
4:28 worse
4:39 it is pretty crazy that an inanimate
4:39 object should make you tear up a little
4:41 bit
4:41 why would you get a little misty-eyed
4:43 over a hunk of metal with an engine in
4:47 it but I am him in this referencing this
4:54 that's starting to now
5:06 I haven't seen didn't think it was gonna
5:06 be that big of a deal and it just hit me
5:07 all of a sudden that without without
5:12 this fan I would have never gotten to
5:17 the point where I am now
5:18 my apologies for saying the same things
5:21 twice I have not watched this since its
5:23 upload date so I had forgotten what I
5:26 had said but clearly that is a point to
5:29 be to be held on to because I've said it
5:33 now current day in 2020 in here back in
5:37 2016 and look over here
5:39 here's big the foot and that's back when
5:42 big the foot had his bagpipes on he was
5:46 a bagpipe player notice all the pins up
5:49 here I had this became massive blessing
6:06 in the new
6:08 transportation no pun intended into the
6:11 next Avenue my life originally I used
6:15 the van to tour in my band a local band
6:18 here in Central Florida whenever we
6:20 would go out of state continuing to talk
6:22 about the band era you know I was in
6:25 that band for a while continued on to
6:26 another project I've been a number of
6:30 musical ventures and I kept the van
6:34 during that time period up until
6:37 basically I stayed in bands until I
6:39 realized that I could make enough doing
6:44 videos took this took years I can make
6:46 enough doing videos than I was playing
6:49 in the band and that's when I focused
6:52 everything all my travels devoted no
6:55 time to the band anymore and and just
6:58 did the YouTube thing completely a
7:00 hundred percent full time play shows we
7:04 would use the band shortly after I
7:06 bought it I realized this was probably
7:08 not the best decision because the band
7:11 was just a local band we really didn't
7:12 make a profit playing shows and I was
7:15 paying all of the van payments out of my
7:18 own pocket because we never made really
7:20 any money as a fact definitely erratic
7:22 playing gigs and whatnot this was a real
7:24 bummer in fact there was one point even
7:27 with years that this is a pretty good
7:29 rap but now that I'm now watching this
7:31 back I'm explaining it pretty well
7:33 during the course of this there are some
7:35 little side notes that I definitely want
7:38 to add as it continues however the
7:40 payments left I consider training the
7:43 van in for a smaller car and then it hit
7:45 me
7:46 why don't I utilize this space to
7:50 basically live and travel it yeah it's a
7:54 funny way here's a deep cut that not
7:57 everyone might know this is maybe a
7:59 little Easter egg look over here at this
8:02 tool that is laying here on the bedding
8:06 portion of where I put my air mattress
8:09 this is like a little bedding thing it's
8:11 like one of those like I don't know what
8:14 the what they're called like an egg an
8:16 egg foam item but not the egg though
8:18 look at this tool here looks like a hand
8:21 right there I use that to procure my
8:26 drone the Majestic from private property
8:30 when it crashed there was a whole man it
8:33 was a whole rigmarole rigger Moreau is
8:36 one of those was kind of like a
8:37 revelation like Doc Brown says a picture
8:40 in my head a picture of this this is
8:44 what makes travel possible oh that's a
8:47 good one back to the future reference
8:49 and because I made this decision I ended
8:53 up building a relationship with this van
8:58 these walls could talk let me tell you
9:01 I'm stating that I had built up a
9:03 relationship with said van and that is
9:07 why emotions run deep by sleeping in
9:12 this van for years traveling coast to
9:16 coast I believe I did I might state this
9:18 but I did live 48 now 46 of the 48
9:22 continental United States
9:24 this crossed the state lines in and it
9:28 was a tool for me to travel in sleep in
9:32 could not afford hotels at the time all
9:34 I needed was to put a little gas in the
9:36 tank so many miles so many stories
9:49 I'm hoping this let's just look at
9:49 another couple little items in the back
9:51 here
9:51 remember the cat mask look at the cat
9:54 mask here what a creepy cat mask and I
9:59 was really into circle K's polar pops
10:03 around that time Circle K for like 79
10:05 cents you get a pole or pop here's the
10:08 drone duh buh gistic cleanin it out the
10:20 cleaning out of okay there this
10:25 technique i seeee techne ice little
10:28 sorry guys you got to come down one by
10:31 one the Pens
10:32 must be removable mantle I'm keeping you
10:35 guys you're just not gonna be mounted up
10:37 here on the side of the wall anymore oh
10:39 look at that Rees look at that the
10:42 removal of the Pens
10:45 Wow I bet whoever is driving this now
10:50 there are little mementos of that of
10:54 these little indentations on the side of
10:58 the carpeted wealth felted roofline
11:02 ceiling line it's still remaining up
11:05 there
11:16 look at that taken down the join me
11:16 shall you patch and then over here we
11:22 got Carrollwood
11:23 barn Wolf's barn the railroad griffith
11:27 park here in california that was
11:30 traveling cross-country as well in
11:31 sticker form right there on the visor
11:34 bad boy no honey that was on the air be
11:40 lincoln here i still got old wu Bergkamp
11:44 he's right over here he's watching and
11:46 reacted as well and of course big the be
11:55 the foot oh let me kick that back just a
11:59 notch this is the most magnificent
12:05 rear-view mirror i have ever owned i've
12:08 had it for probably 20 years before the
12:11 van and other cars and automobiles and i
12:14 just transfer it and i have it in my
12:16 current vehicle as well big the foot
12:20 still got so that'll big the foot
12:23 hanging in my current vehicle as we
12:25 speak
12:32 I'm a firm believer that you constantly
12:32 have to change things up still agree
12:35 without to for us I still agree with
12:36 that that is why I am getting rid of the
12:39 van it's a very hard decision to make
12:43 that is for sure but it was awesome a
12:47 very hard decision to originally put my
12:49 job and move out of my apartment start
12:54 doing these videos and traveling and the
12:57 van has always been a tool invent and I
13:03 think the next step to progress to the
13:06 next plateau or the next step the next
13:09 level of what oh look at that the empty
13:13 back of oh my gosh that was probably the
13:19 first time since I had purchased because
13:22 I have purchased it that it was empty
13:23 like that
13:24 well besides like no vacuum it out but
13:27 really is not a place for me to store
13:29 the van and I do not want to burden
13:32 anyone with having the van being stored
13:36 while these future endeavors will be
13:39 happening and I will get to those in the
13:42 upcoming days and what my fields
13:44 okay that is that kind of jarred a
13:46 little memory there I did not have a
13:49 place to store this at the time I was
13:52 not going to leave that at my family's
13:53 house in Florida I was not going to
13:56 leave this at my sister's house in
13:58 Indiana I did not have a home I did not
14:02 have a house a condo an apartment any of
14:06 those things a property to stash this
14:10 and my next game plan was to start
14:13 flying across the u.s. and for those who
14:16 might remember I'm starting starting to
14:18 really come back to me now in the
14:20 following weeks after this I would fly
14:22 from city to city and I would stay there
14:25 two or three days and I fly to another
14:26 city it what took its toll and as I was
14:30 doing that I realized that I had made a
14:33 huge mess
14:35 and I am going to state this now one of
14:38 the one of the things I really regret I
14:41 don't know if I want to say regret
14:43 because you really shouldn't have
14:43 regrets but something that if I had to
14:45 do over you know hindsight is
14:47 twenty-twenty that statement that I
14:49 probably would falsely mispronouncing I
14:52 would not have gotten rid of the van I
14:55 still drove very well it served me well
14:59 it served a purpose so let us this was
15:02 serving going on that this thing did for
15:05 me and looking back I wish I wish I had
15:08 not done this but I am impulsive that's
15:11 just how I am and that's probably why
15:13 I've continued to the point about now
15:16 but this was a faux pas sure this hands
15:20 arms crazy that this would be the last
15:22 time that I drive
15:25 behind this wheel in the captain's chair
15:28 pretty bare-bones in here right now that
15:31 is for sure I guess I had this not
15:35 almost nine years we got in 2007 this
15:38 was 16 so almost eight or nine years
15:40 there I am putting it in part for the
15:43 last time
15:44 that's right scary alien face this
15:49 always arrived to be of an alien face
15:51 whatever I would do like the the selfie
15:54 style view of me talking to the camera
15:56 this would be behind me this alien face
16:00 look and see the eyes and the mouth and
16:03 the nose and ears here old alien face on
16:08 the roof this is the last moments that
16:12 will be sitting inside by now
16:15 former vehicle van now this parking lot
16:21 that you are seeing right here for
16:24 anyone who wants to use their Columba
16:26 like research skills this is there's a
16:29 reference I haven't used in a while this
16:31 parking lot is adjacent to the Orlando
16:35 International Airport on the side that
16:39 Carmack's sits on which is where I sold
16:44 on an impulse I woke up that morning and
16:47 said let's do this drove out there
16:50 Carmack's purchased my van but before I
16:56 showed up there I had to do the outro to
16:58 my video and that happened in this
17:00 parking lot between the Orlando
17:02 International Airport and that Carmack's
17:05 which might still exist to this day and
17:09 the next few moments of the last times
17:12 you will see this in these vlogs
17:17 we're crazy to think about the very
17:18 first daily move log was filmed right
17:21 here in the same at the first daily
17:23 we've walked no one was in there 46 of
17:26 the 48 continental United States as well
17:30 as mega 9s nothing in Canada it has
17:33 served me well it does you have served
17:37 me well you've done your duty now you
17:40 can go home sleep well so I do the go
17:47 home and sleep well which I know there
17:50 my friend Justin scarred but you guys
17:52 might watch and know of has coined that
17:56 phrase because when we used to hang out
18:00 all the time I would stay at his
18:02 homestead when I first started visiting
18:04 California he would put me up at his
18:06 house and I would sleep on his couch in
18:09 the living room and we would just joke
18:11 around all the time I said the greatest
18:13 line is Sean Connery from The
18:14 Untouchables go home and sleep Wales and
18:18 we did that so much and I would use it
18:20 in my videos and he started doing videos
18:22 and he took that took that bull by the
18:25 horns and ran with it and now it's kind
18:28 of a pretty famous catchphrase for him
18:31 I digress let's listen let's let's watch
18:33 the end here it served me well you have
18:38 served me well you've done your duty now
18:42 you can go home sleep well
19:00 I made a mistake with the van it was
19:00 almost the perfect vehicle to conceal
19:05 yourself sleeping in anywhere no one
19:08 knew you were in there
19:09 it ran well my impulsivity got the best
19:15 of me but it is what it is it's a move
19:20 forward and there might come a point
19:22 when I get another van in life I would
19:23 not be I would not be a poset I'm not
19:26 making any statements and it might not
19:27 ever have how it will never happen but I
19:29 would not be opposed to it this is a
19:31 very interesting episode in this these
19:33 subject matters of these looking back
19:35 reaction videos are a different one but
19:37 I'm enjoying them don't know how far I
19:39 want to continue but for now I'm having
19:42 fun with them if you enjoyed this
19:45 particular episode give it a big thumbs
19:47 up lets me know you care I'll see you in
19:51 the next video a vlog
