0:03 welcome everyone Adam the woo here as
0:03 the recording of this Thursday December
0:06 26th 2024 it's beginning to look a lot
0:09 like post Christmas a hawk just flew off
0:14 right there I missed
0:16 it here on the back side of 7-Eleven it
0:20 was like right up there in the
0:22 tree and it flew off that way and I
0:24 completely completely missed it flying
0:25 off kind of startled me I didn't know
0:27 what to think of it because I wasn't
0:28 expecting a hawk to fly fly by there so
0:33 I want to make my way over to St Pete
0:35 today my first time going to St Pete in
0:38 a while in
0:44 fact over the last series of years I
0:44 have gone to downtown St Pete a
0:46 multitude of times 100
0:48 times probably pretty close Tampa Bay
0:51 Rays wearing an appropriate
0:53 hat
0:56 here are in a little bit of a discom
0:59 ulation
1:01 confusion right now 2 months ago
1:04 Tropicana Field was destroyed in a
1:07 hurricane rip the roof off and the
1:09 reason that they cannot quickly repair
1:11 the roof is because it's going to be
1:14 millions of dollars that someone doesn't
1:16 want to pay for whether it be owner of
1:18 the ray the owners of the Rays the city
1:23 the county it's also confusing it's hard
1:25 to even keep up every day there's a new
1:28 development they're going to be playing
1:29 next next year the 2025 season at
1:33 steinbrener field Spring training
1:35 facility for the New York
1:37 Yankees and possibly for the next few
1:40 years who knows I may have seen my last
1:43 game unbeknownst to me at Tropic anfield
1:47 and since the news broke I have not been
1:49 over there and seen it with my own eyes
1:52 I think about a month or so ago my good
1:54 buddy Tampa J who's also a big Ray
1:57 follower Advocate fan went by
2:00 kind of paid his respects to the Trop
2:03 now it's my turn I'm going to go by see
2:05 what it looks like now and also stop by
2:07 Stein Brer field on the way there and
2:09 then also do some downtown St Pete and
2:10 stuff long intro I know but it's good to
2:13 have you here I'm inviting you to join
2:15 me shall you now next year I don't know
2:19 how many games I'm going to be going to
2:21 cuz I am going to be doing a little more
2:22 traveling than normal and I've completed
2:25 my 30 all 30 current MLB stadiums even
2:29 though I'm going to have two more to add
2:31 on seeing the Rays play in the Major
2:33 League Baseball season non-spring
2:35 training which would be Stein Brer field
2:37 and then Sacramento where the former
2:39 Oakland A will be
2:45 playing traffic looks like about an hour
2:45 and 40
2:46 minutes to go the 85 miles to the former
2:51 well still shopic can field yes slow
2:54 going here on the exit but I think it's
2:55 going to smooth out a little bit traffic
2:57 shouldn't be too too bad because it is
2:59 the day after Christmas
3:01 so a lot of people are
3:04 still still at the destination that they
3:06 arrived at and they haven't started
3:08 traveling back yet so I imagine it'll be
3:10 a little smoother than normal ah
3:12 hopefully cross on my fingers H maybe
3:15 incorrect in my assumption on how I4 is
3:18 going to be I4 eastbound looking pretty
3:21 nutty westbound's backed up a little bit
3:24 but still showing a little smoother than
3:27 it usually is also Ste field 20 M
3:32 closer to me from
3:34 celebration than the Trap so next year
3:37 if I do go to any home games which are
3:40 kind of in a weird home stadium 20 mi
3:42 closer Drive commute for me which is
3:45 going to be nice and now westbound is
3:48 pretty backed up look like it's getting
3:50 worse as the day progresses it's all
3:53 part of the experience there's Santa
3:55 Claus waving goodbye to Christmas from a
3:57 toilet
4:03 I also wonder how long this empty boat
4:03 used to be a restaurant of some sort now
4:05 it's just a boat sitting here by
4:06 dinosaur world like how long is that
4:09 empty thing going to sit there it's been
4:11 there for like 20
4:13 years right there off the side of the
4:17 road ah the Tampa Skyline there you are
4:21 there you
4:22 are all right there it is Stein brener
4:26 field where the Yankees spring train and
4:29 also
4:34 our minor league
4:34 tarpons also play in
4:37 here now from what I the rumor mill the
4:42 rays are going to be paying the Yankees
4:45 15
4:47 million that's what I was hearing to
4:50 rent this facility for one
4:57 season which not
4:57 exactly you know it's not a rivals in
5:01 the AL East you really don't want to be
5:03 giving your AL East Rivals $15 million
5:07 but at least they're helping out they're
5:09 doing some construction in here I don't
5:10 know if it has anything to do with the
5:11 Rays being in here but
5:18 yeah I can get through here and the
5:18 tarpons who are
5:20 their farm team they usually play here
5:24 but from what I was hearing again all
5:25 rumor mill stuff has probably been
5:27 confirmed but they are going to beov
5:29 moving and playing elsewhere so the farm
5:32 team for the Yankees will not be in here
5:35 and I'm also wondering if the Razer
5:37 they're paying that many millions of
5:38 dollars to rent this facility are they
5:41 going to put all the Tampa Bay Ray stuff
5:43 up or is it all going to be full Yankees
5:46 obviously you know the Yankees Hall of
5:49 Fame here Babe Ruth Mickey man that'll
5:51 all remain but will they
5:54 remove you know all the logos and stuff
5:56 and make it make it race
6:00 time will
6:10 tell there's Mr steinbruner right there
6:10 a sculpture of
6:12 himself so this will be the home of the
6:14 Tampa Bay Rays for 2025 possibly 26 and
6:19 27 it's so up in the air it is such a
6:27 confusing historically irritating
6:27 scenario that has not been decided on
6:31 again every day every few days every
6:32 week There's a new
6:37 development this is where they're going
6:37 to be playing right inside there
6:40 originally I had hoped when there was a
6:44 little small inkling of hope that they
6:46 could possibly go to Wide World of
6:48 Sports at Disney that would be right
6:50 down the road for me in celebration
6:51 which would be nice I will not be going
6:53 to as many baseball games in 25 as I did
6:57 in 24 23 and 22 those three years were
7:00 very intense I have now knocked off all
7:02 30 current mob stadiums seeing the Tampa
7:05 Bay Rays which is quite a challenge I
7:08 didn't just go to all 30 stadiums to
7:10 just see random games I went to see my
7:12 team and root for my team and I'm glad I
7:14 accomplished that also this year I
7:17 knocked off my 50th estate so I've been
7:20 to all 50 states and all current 30 MLB
7:23 stadium now like I was saying 25 when
7:26 the Rays play
7:28 here I will be able to knock off my 31st
7:32 Stadium seeing the Rays play a regular
7:35 season MLB game I'm not counting spring
7:38 training stadiums even this is even
7:40 though this is a spring or spring
7:42 training games not counting those but if
7:44 they're playing a regular season game
7:47 one of their 162 games in a spring
7:51 trading Stadium then I'm counting that
7:53 so this will be my 31st and at some
7:56 point we'll see the Rays play in
7:58 Sacramento where the California A's or
8:01 the Sacramento A's whatever the heck
8:03 they're going to be called before they
8:04 move to Vegas are going to be playing
8:06 here's the interesting thing what if the
8:10 Rays make it to the postseason go deep
8:12 in the postseason and this is their home
8:14 field what if they won the world series
8:16 I mean this is like a huge huge crossing
8:19 the fingers what if they P what if they
8:21 won the world this this is always holds
8:23 10,000 people what would MLB do they'd
8:25 have to move it the series to a
8:27 different Stadium a bigger Stadium
8:30 they don't want to they don't want to
8:31 only have 10,000 tickets sold for a
8:34 World Series and then Oakland what about
8:35 Oakland Sacramento what if they go deep
8:38 in the playoffs next year next year's
8:40 going to be a weird wacky year for
8:42 baseball all right heading over to chop
8:43 again I think maybe there was a little
8:44 hurricane damage here that they are
8:46 fixing I think that's what they're doing
8:47 so will the big Yankees gear be up
8:51 there this is a nice Stadium too I went
8:53 and saw the ray Spring train against the
8:56 spring training game last year against
8:59 the the Yankees ear before the regular
9:00 season of 24 it was my first time
9:03 attending a game and sitting in the good
9:05 seats like up behind home plate I've
9:07 been to one other game that I kind of
9:08 had like in the Outfield and it's a nice
9:12 setup it's a nice setup so going to
9:14 games there is going to be nice however
9:16 it's not in a dome it's not going to be
9:18 72° it's going to be in the sun and the
9:20 elements in the heat all right I pulled
9:22 over right here off the side kind of
9:25 looking this is my first view of the
9:27 trop since it's been destroyed with my
9:30 own eyes I've seen it on pictures and
9:32 things like that but yeah that is
9:35 wild so part of the roof still remained
9:39 3/4 of the roof was kind of
9:41 disintegrated and ripped to shreds by
9:43 the hurricane a couple months ago but
9:45 they have since pulled off the remaining
9:48 portion and now it's just the shell it's
9:51 like the skeleton a Tropicana Field over
9:55 there which is just seeing this I was
9:57 pulling in here to the St Pete Skyline
10:00 wow I'm getting closer all right going
10:02 through the tunnel from fer I parked
10:03 over at fergs here is the reveal of
10:08 Tropicana Field without its roof now I
10:10 know the first thing a lot of people
10:12 when they think they saw the field first
10:15 instinct or the first thing you would
10:16 think of is well why don't they just
10:18 tear the rest of the roof off and just
10:19 play in an open air Stadium like a lot
10:21 of other teams do and that would make
10:24 sense except except for the fact that
10:27 this stadium was not originally built as
10:29 a baseball stadium it's a multi-purpose
10:32 hockey esque Stadium I think it was
10:34 originally built for hockey and then
10:36 when the Rays took it over they
10:39 converted it into a mostly Baseball
10:42 Facility even though they do other
10:43 events here as well but it is not set up
10:47 for drainage so you would not be able to
10:51 just start playing in there it would
10:53 take a complete renovation probably be
10:56 easier to tear it down which they were
10:58 going to do
11:00 anyway originally so the Rays made this
11:03 whole statement last year before I
11:05 bought my house I bought my house a year
11:06 ago and before that couple month few
11:10 months before that the Rays put this
11:13 whole campaign out here to stay here to
11:15 stay they did a whole press conference
11:17 they did it inside Tropic cani talking
11:19 about how in January of
11:21 2025 they were going to break
11:24 ground in one of the areas around
11:27 here this section probably the parking
11:30 lot General vicinity they were going to
11:33 put shovels in the ground in January
11:34 coming up next what would have been next
11:37 month and then in 3 years the new
11:40 stadium was going to open somewhere over
11:42 in here then after that after a season
11:45 of that of playing in the new stadium
11:48 starting in 2028 I believe it was they
11:50 would start tearing and ploting
11:53 destroying the old Tropicana Field
11:55 whatever the new stadium would be called
11:57 be the new home that all
12:01 changed when the hurricane came through
12:03 I don't know the ins and outs the red
12:05 tape
12:07 the all I don't know any I don't really
12:10 know what the heck happened all I know
12:13 is the rays are not playing in here next
12:15 year and I have a pretty good feeling
12:19 the Rays will never play baseball in
12:21 here
12:22 again I have attended most likely have
12:25 attended my last Tampa Bay Ray game in
12:28 tropic field if I had known last seon
12:31 was going to be the last one I probably
12:33 would have gone to the last ever game I
12:35 went to the game a couple weeks before
12:37 at the end of the season so I was doing
12:39 finishing up all the other stadiums but
12:41 man what a what a mess and you know
12:44 Mother Nature you cannot Act of God you
12:47 cannot you have no handle on that cannot
12:50 change any of that now you would just
12:53 look at this and think oh just you know
12:55 clean the inside out take that top
12:58 portion off it would be really cool to
13:00 see the trop as an open air Stadium I'd
13:03 be for it I mean it is nice to be
13:05 sitting in 72° air conditioned all the
13:09 time but I would be off of sitting in
13:11 there however any rain from that
13:21 hurricane a few months ago till now has
13:21 all culminated and puddled up inside
13:23 there lots of damage inside there
13:26 because it has nowhere to drain meaning
13:30 if they just ripped the roof off cleaned
13:32 it up fixed everything that needed to be
13:35 fixed still every time it rains it's
13:38 going to be immense Mass
13:39 flooding which does not work so they
13:43 have solved a temporary solution they
13:44 have solved next year and they're
13:46 playing steinbrener field where the
13:50 Yankees farm team
13:52 plays but this is just eerily weird so
13:55 many times for 3 years
13:59 went to tons of home games tons of them
14:04 the security checkpoint was right there
14:05 to go into
14:06 the ballpark and wreck you could get in
14:09 2 hours before or you can line up over
14:11 here an hour and a half before and go
14:12 through the main gate also the team
14:15 store most likely water log destroyed so
14:19 that is not open the bay Republic
14:22 store I did honestly I did not think
14:24 that I was going to be able to walk this
14:27 close I am kind of surprised
14:30 now when the storm came through they had
14:32 a hurricane Disaster Response set up
14:35 inside there and evidently everyone got
14:37 out of there in time before anyone was
14:39 hurt being in there they had cots all
14:42 set up plenty of photos
14:44 online of all that that
14:47 happened but this is just Eerie Eerie
14:52 peeling out the parking lot over there
14:54 yeah this is was a little either a
14:57 newscopter or an officer over there
14:59 there why maybe not a newscopter maybe a
15:01 police
15:10 helicopter yeah really just seeing this
15:10 with my own eyes it just hit me I mean
15:13 the night of the hurricane I was
15:14 watching online the news cast showing it
15:18 from a distance with that roof just
15:20 swaying in the breeze being destroyed I
15:22 thought oh my
15:24 gosh I mean this is my this is my home
15:27 field
15:31 so many memories
15:32 here and now it's
15:34 just
15:40 this so there's been a lot of different
15:40 votes with the county with the city with
15:42 the owners with the I don't again it is
15:45 a mess but
15:48 evidently it's an issue of money who
15:50 wants to spend do the raise the raise
15:54 ownership the city the
15:56 county I don't know if the state's
15:58 involved but it's all who wants to spend
16:01 what kind of dough and their percentage
16:04 for the new stadium there's also very
16:07 heavy Rumblings of the team moving now I
16:11 will
16:12 say a percentage of the reason I
16:15 purchased a house in celebration not all
16:17 of it my parents do live in Central
16:19 Florida to be close to them I love Walt
16:21 Disney World have a lot of ties to
16:23 Central
16:24 Florida but if the team left if they
16:27 went to Salt Lake City if they went went
16:29 to Nashville if they move somewhere else
16:31 I don't think they will I don't think
16:33 MLB wants the Rays to leave
16:37 Florida not Central Florida but the
16:39 coast of Florida Florida in general I
16:41 don't think that the MLB wants them to
16:43 do do that because I believe the places
16:45 that I mentioned that there are
16:47 Rumblings that possibly the Rays could
16:49 go
16:50 to I think Major League Baseball wants
16:52 those to be expansion teams down the
16:56 road I think they want to add more than
16:58 the current amount of teams that are out
16:59 there but
17:01 if if the Rays leave St Pete let's not
17:05 say St Pete Tampa Bay area if they don't
17:07 go to eore if they don't go to Orlando
17:09 if they don't go to Tampa proper if they
17:11 don't stay in St
17:13 Pete in my
17:15 lifetime there will never be another
17:17 major league baseball team in Central
17:20 Florida and that's going to kind of
17:22 weigh heavy on me because when I'm older
17:23 I whole whole thing I thought of when
17:25 I'm
17:26 older you know in my relaxed years it
17:29 would just be nice to cruise over go to
17:32 a game keep supporting the
17:34 Rays and I won't be able to do that if
17:37 they're elsewhere so I might come into
17:40 change of plans you know you know who
17:41 knows not saying I'm going to up and up
17:44 and move if the rise leave
17:46 but I I want baseball I like baseball I
17:49 like the race I want to watch baseball
17:51 my golden years assuming I live that
17:54 long so yeah
18:06 many many times I waited right here to
18:06 go through
18:08 security walked up here was greeted by
18:10 Raymond and DJ
18:12 Kitty oh
18:14 wow know usually there's some of the
18:17 players Yi would be up there Pete
18:20 Fairbanks this big poster right up there
18:22 all that's gone ripped down taken off
18:30 you also think of the damage that's in
18:31 there when it comes to all the inner
18:33 workings and electronics so right here
18:35 is a digital screen which is usually on
18:36 during game
18:38 day and that's probably broken or at
18:41 least the one inside the massive screen
18:43 that's inside look at
18:49 this you just think high winds and high
18:49 rain on things that are were not
18:52 expected to be weatherproofed because
18:54 you didn't need to be weatherproof where
18:56 other stadiums that are have things
18:57 outdoors where this everything was
19:00 always
19:01 indoors that right there is a very
19:04 telling
19:06 image Tropic Ana
19:15 wow it's going to cost them a lot of
19:18 money to play at Stein Brunner not just
19:19 the 15 or so million they got to play
19:22 the Yankees but there's less ticket
19:24 sales
19:25 granted no more than 10 10 to 15 ,000
19:29 again came here the the Rays had a have
19:32 a
19:32 lackluster support support from the
19:36 area so they never really sell out games
19:40 however it will be a smaller venue and
19:43 you think of advertisements that are
19:44 placed all around the inside of trout
19:47 there's less space for those
19:49 advertisements over at Stein brener
19:51 probably a limited amount of you know
19:54 contracts they have to make money or
19:57 companies of things it'll all just go
19:59 out the window so it's going it's a big
20:01 hit to the wallet for the race and they
20:04 have money all owners have
20:11 money it's just interesting to see how
20:11 much they're going to dish out make this
20:20 work Florida's love affair with baseball
20:20 began in St Pete in
20:22 1914 there's also Al Lang Stadium which
20:25 I think is where the soccer team plays
20:28 there was rumors about maybe converting
20:29 that into the baseball but that's not
20:32 going to
20:32 happen or at least they have unannounced
20:35 it here's the store here's the bay
20:36 Republic store these hours obviously are
20:39 not correct you know honestly it looks
20:42 like it's in really good shape in there
20:44 maybe they have
20:47 opened you know maybe the store has been
20:51 open that's interesting cuz the store
20:53 does not the inside of the store does
20:55 not look too damaged and some of the
20:57 clothing items look pretty pretty good
21:01 shape yeah I don't know interesting not
21:04 open today obviously because it's the
21:05 day after Christmas they normally closed
21:07 on Sundays I cannot imagine that it's
21:10 open but you know what what do I know
21:12 many memories in here over the last few
21:13 years I saw W
21:15 bogs he was brought into the Rays
21:20 Baseball Hall of Fame and here's one of
21:23 his he hit his 3,000th hit in here they
21:25 got the yellow seat amongst the blue
21:26 seats inside
21:33 what a weird way to end the season raay
21:34 did not make the postseason last year
21:35 which is the first time in like 5 years
21:37 or
21:39 so and right you know it's interesting
21:42 my mom and dad came over to stay with me
21:43 during the hurricane just because I felt
21:44 like we should all kind of be together
21:47 and I felt my place was a little safer
21:49 than their home so they decided to come
21:51 over and before the news broke before
21:54 the W the roof blown blew off of this my
21:57 dad and I were having a conversation I
21:59 thought what if this is when the
22:01 baseball postseason was happening I
22:03 remember my dad and I were talking and I
22:05 brought up the point what if the Rays
22:07 went deep in the post postseason and
22:10 there was a hurricane coming through and
22:12 the whole Coast of Florida was shut down
22:15 for the hurricane during the playoffs
22:18 where would the Rays and their opponent
22:20 play at if they couldn't play at
22:21 Tropicana Field now they did not make
22:23 the postseason so it didn't really
22:24 matter but what if they had and what if
22:27 they were kneed deep in the postseason
22:29 and this
22:31 happened right just what a wacky turn of
22:35 events the ray
22:37 Garden I think the best scenario if they
22:40 decide to stay in St Pete if they decide
22:42 to stay in this area so they were going
22:44 to obviously be playing in here for
22:46 three more years while they built a new
22:48 stadium but they're never going to play
22:49 in here again I mean it would take so
22:51 much money to fix it fix the drainage
22:54 problem they I mean I don't even know if
22:55 even fixing the drainage problem would
22:57 be a thing because you'd have to have
22:59 the drainage problem come out and dump
23:01 into here I don't know the ins and outs
23:03 of construction of a stadium but then it
23:05 would be just a temporary fix or the
23:08 multi-millions of dollars to fix the
23:10 roof they could do that but then the
23:12 stadium is only going to be here for a
23:14 couple years they were going to tear the
23:15 stadium down anyway so really deciding
23:18 on where the new stadium is going to be
23:20 whether it's here or in this parking lot
23:23 or in ebore or in Orlando or wherever or
23:27 in St Pete
23:29 Fairgrounds I think makes the most sense
23:31 it's you know kind of like a good
23:34 central location to the coast and
23:37 Orlando and Tampa and St Pete but really
23:41 Expediting the tearing down of this
23:44 would probably make the most
23:50 sense again just thinking out
23:50 loud that was just so Eerie so Eerie I
23:53 don't know how many more times I'm going
23:54 to be right here in this area they never
23:56 play here again let's say they don't
23:58 don't build a new stadium how many more
24:00 times are we going to come I mean
24:01 obviously if they start imploding this
24:04 and if I'm in town I'll come document
24:06 that but also even if they never play in
24:08 here again it'd be kind of nice if they
24:11 just let people go in one last time to
24:12 pay their respects inside ah there's
24:14 yandi yandi Diaz right
24:17 there I don't even know if he's coming
24:19 back he signed a two-year contract with
24:21 the Rays they got rid of a lot of
24:23 players last
24:25 year about 3/4 of the way they kind of
24:27 gave up on the postseason dumped a lot
24:29 of players at the TR de trade deadline
24:32 that was a disappointing year last year
24:34 even
24:36 before the turn of
24:38 events and also what what will happen to
24:40 fergs fergs is kind of like the rais bar
24:43 I mean obviously it's got It's a local
24:45 bar also but on game days it's pretty
24:47 busy so if it loses all that business
24:50 fergs is going to take a hit to the
24:52 wallet
24:54 also it's gracious so there's the ab and
24:57 c ring you know how many times I've seen
25:00 popups hit
25:02 that very rare a couple times they even
25:04 got balls got stuck up in the
25:06 rafters and now just seeing it open air
25:09 like that is just very weird and Eerie
25:12 very very
25:14 eerie to me anyway CU many times I've
25:16 been in I mean I've probably been in
25:17 that Stadium a 100
25:23 times and now just seeing it knowing I
25:23 can't go in right now like normally I'd
25:25 be here getting ready to wait for the
25:26 gates to open to go in and even driving
25:29 across the bridge there's a big bridge
25:31 going from Tampa to St Pete seeing
25:33 before you'd be able to drive and look
25:35 over to the left as you're going towards
25:36 out of Tampa into St Pete and you could
25:38 see the skyline would would have the
25:40 trop and I couldn't figure out where the
25:42 trop was anymore from across the bay
25:46 because the roof was gone it was weird I
25:48 couldn't pinpoint the skyline changed so
25:51 has the Rays up up there I mean I know
25:53 they're hoping for all this to be
25:57 rectified I am also definitely just
25:59 going to roll with the punches on what
26:00 the situation is
26:02 and if they move it's meant to be if
26:05 they don't move if they stay here I'll
26:07 be supporting the team and I mean even
26:09 if they move to another place still be
26:11 I'll still follow the organization and
26:14 just an very interesting scenario here
26:17 standing thinking with one with my
26:18 thought and one with my thoughts here at
26:20 the world's famous fergs and no clue
26:22 what Big Boy's thought process is on
26:25 this what do you think of all this big
26:27 boy
26:29 no no thoughts just seeing this knowing
26:31 that there there's no designated team
26:33 going to be here is bizarre now that is
26:39 something I saw some images of this
26:40 online where the
26:43 storm took that pole and bent it
26:45 sideways that is that is a telling image
26:49 right there look at
26:51 that that staning pole on the ground
26:54 that says home of the Rays Tropicana
26:55 Field
27:01 all up in the air now that is not
27:01 guaranteed they are not here to stay at
27:04 least for now
27:31 well Christmas was yesterday it's over
27:33 Santa's leaving
27:35 town back to the North
27:38 Pole classic
27:43 car just look how beautiful this Sunset
27:43 is going to like just sit here for a
27:45 moment and bask in it before going down
27:47 to the end of I do want to walk down to
27:49 the end of the pier but yeah this is uh
27:50 this is downtown St Pete the sky line
27:53 right here at the dock and the boats and
27:55 everything beautiful very beautiful
27:58 hope the ray stay in this area I really
28:00 do it's a little Tiki
28:02 boat right there going across
28:04 the across the
28:12 sunset distance there it's nice take a
28:12 look at this mural here interesting I
28:15 can't tell what he's holding he's
28:17 holding something there's his head up
28:20 there at the top of the
28:27 building pretty cool some really good
28:27 murals in St
28:38 Pete back home now and I was looking at
28:38 the ray schedule for spring training and
28:41 then going into the regular season so it
28:43 looks like opening day is going to be
28:44 March 28th so everything in
28:47 blue they're going up against the
28:49 Rockies on opening day starting the 20
28:52 uh 28th is the regular season blue is
28:55 starting the regular season everything
28:56 else is spring training
29:01 but pretty much the first two or three
29:01 months of the Season they're playing
29:04 everything in Florida the reason they're
29:06 doing that is because once it gets past
29:09 the first there's only like a week or
29:12 two of away games in the first few
29:15 months and then once it starts getting
29:17 into July there's more away games
29:18 because in Florida in July there will be
29:20 so many rain delays or playing Outdoors
29:23 beauty of Tropicana Field was it was
29:25 closed so you don't have those rain Del
29:29 there's going to be a lot of double
29:31 headers rain
29:33 delays
29:34 Etc in the
29:37 summertime last game is at the end of
29:39 September against Toronto that's an away
29:41 away game but everything in blue is
29:45 going to be played at Stein Brer field
29:46 in fact some teams MLB had to completely
29:49 change the
29:51 scheduling to be able to
29:54 have so many home games at the the
29:58 Yankee spring training Stein Brunner for
30:00 the Rays in order to to be able to to
30:03 play there they had to
30:05 readjust some of the other team schedule
30:08 as well so it's definitely a weird going
30:10 to be a weird year well that's going to
30:12 do it for today thanks for watching I'll
30:13 see you the next video the
30:15 Vlog is over oh yeah one last thing
30:18 bonus footage noticing here atth that's
30:21 the Athletics just the Athletics not the
30:24 California Athletics not the Oakland
30:25 Athletics not the Vegas Athletics just
30:28 atth the
30:30 Athletics the Athletics will be playing
30:33 away from their farm team
30:36 stadium in Sacramento and they're be
30:38 playing at a farm team stadium in
30:42 Florida weird
