0:09 for a little bit but the first thing

0:11 this morning on this Friday TGIF by the

0:13 way here at Disneyland you can see

0:16 people coming in with their umbrellas

0:18 and their

0:19 ponchos and their Alias Clark trucker

0:22 hats in front of the train

0:25 station I just wanted to show you guys

0:28 what it looks like on a front Friday at

0:30 rope drop rope drop which is the opening

0:33 of Disneyland was just a few minutes ago

0:35 it is currently when I am filming this

0:37 Vlog up the Vlog will be uploaded a few

0:39 hours from now I try to film in the

0:42 morning and then a couple hours later

0:43 upload it try to get the video uploaded

0:45 by noon or 100 p.m. West Coast time if

0:48 you're in the US on the East Coast

0:51 you'll be seeing my Vlogs usually around

0:53 2 P.M to 4 pmsh give or take but right

0:57 now currently it is 9 a.m. the gates

1:01 have just opened you can see for a

1:02 Friday there is not a whole heck of a

1:04 lot of people out here quite yet in fact

1:07 directly in front of the photo

1:10 opportunity area with Mickey made out of

1:12 foliage and flowers there is no one

1:15 standing directly in front of Mickey or

1:18 the Disneyland population

1:21 650 million people at elevation

1:25 138 ft there's the clock right up there

1:27 actually 915

1:30 so the park has only been open 9 not 9

1:33 minutes 15 minutes here on this

1:37 60th anniversary year 1955 the park open

1:42 and that is the diamond celebration

1:45 emblem so basically the title of this

1:49 Vlog is going to be Disneyland rainy day

1:53 announcement because I have a special

1:55 announcement I want to actually tell you

1:56 guys about as we enter the wonderful

1:59 world of Disneyland here you leave today

2:01 and enter the world of yesterday

2:03 tomorrow and

2:13 fantasy and as you can see some people

2:13 really are not ready for the rain at

2:17 this moment some people are trying to

2:19 stay out of the rain by staying in that

2:21 little Corridor right there by the way

2:24 it's my second channel daily vog channel

2:26 it's the daily rainy day here at

2:29 Disneyland on this Friday t g i f I

2:34 probably should get underneath some sort

2:36 of Awning or some sort of umbrella like

2:40 this gentleman has and you you see

2:42 they're actually preparing for some

2:44 filming they're here here in the little

2:47 Hub area the front hub area underneath

2:49 the flag pole they're actually filming

2:52 for Live with Kelly and

2:54 Michael right there they're actually

2:56 filming here the next few days and

2:58 before you guys say you should actually

3:00 show up and be part of the filming maybe

3:02 do a video bomb W to us in the audience

3:04 they actually film prior to the park

3:06 opening they probably filmed this

3:08 morning and you can see all the stages

3:10 that are set up the camera crews are

3:12 putting away their

3:14 cameras so before you think Adam you

3:16 should show up before you tweet me or

3:19 Instagram me or Facebook comments me

3:22 saying you should show up out here and

3:24 actually be on the Live with Kelly and

3:27 Michael show which I think that youed to

3:30 be live with Regis and Kelly at one

3:32 point was it not and also live with

3:34 Regis and who was the other woman that

3:37 was before Kelly there was another woman

3:39 before that Reg just was with before you

3:42 say that man it's very dark something is

3:44 happening to my phone now because it has

3:47 something that says AE lock on it there

3:50 we go we turned whatever that little AE

3:53 lock was I've turned it off probably the

3:55 rain now that it's raining on my phone

3:57 is probably not healthy for

4:00 my phone so before you say come out here

4:02 and actually be in the audience I must

4:04 tell you I did some research online the

4:06 Live with Kelly and Michael show which

4:09 is filming from Disneyland over the next

4:11 few days in celebration for Disneyland's

4:14 60th anniversary which is a tie in to

4:16 this special announcement all the

4:19 tickets for Kelly and Michael show the

4:21 Live with Kelly and Michael show are

4:23 completely sold out I'm guessing what

4:25 they do is before the park opens they

4:28 actually probably let a few people in

4:29 who have got tickets and they actually

4:31 can fill Main Street to make it look

4:34 like the Park is open but do not be

4:35 fooled do not be deceived they actually

4:38 are not filming when the Park is open so

4:41 who you are seeing on those episodes

4:44 from that stage if you watch Live with

4:48 Kelly and Michael will not be during

4:50 normal park hours a little inside video

4:53 tip from me to you all right let's step

4:57 back out in the rain hopefully my camera

4:59 can continues to operate well this is

5:02 spitting out some water here we got to

5:03 be aware of that right there it's very

5:06 unusual in Southern California now I am

5:09 from Florida I am a southern boy I am a

5:10 Floridian at heart and I lived in

5:13 Florida from 1991 until basically until

5:17 New Year's Eve of this year and it rains

5:20 a heck of a lot especially in the summer

5:22 if you are a weather man in Florida you

5:25 have probably one of the easiest jobs

5:28 when it comes to telling the weather to

5:30 Floridians because all you have to say

5:32 is it's going to be warm in the morning

5:34 humid around noon and from 1: to 300

5:37 p.m. it's going to have a torrential

5:39 downpour that is my weatherman

5:43 weatherman what do you call it

5:46 weatherman imitation to you guys I'm

5:49 being very distracted by the amount of

5:51 rain that is coming down here because

5:53 unlike Florida this is very unusual to

5:56 have this amount of rain this is not a

5:59 torrential downpour there nothing like a

6:01 hurricane but in Southern California

6:04 this is the most rain that I have seen

6:07 since I have been here since the first

6:09 of the year I was here in the park on

6:12 New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks

6:13 with my good friend Justin scarred right

6:16 down that way over the castle and since

6:19 then this is the most rain it has rained

6:22 in 2 days so this is a very interesting

6:25 Vlog not only because I have a special

6:27 announcement momentarily that ties into

6:29 the 60th anniversary that they are

6:31 filming for there which are sold out the

6:33 tickets to Live with Kelly and Michael

6:36 and also the castle which has been

6:39 renovated for Diamond Celebration The

6:42 Diamond celebration for the 60th

6:44 anniversary and what is that special

6:46 announcement one week from today wow a

6:50 water a water drop that was the size of

6:53 this just pounded the top of my camera

6:56 you can probably rewind that and hear

6:58 that loud thump and now there's water

7:01 coming off I should have actually had an

7:03 umbrella or one of these fantastic

7:05 ponchos by the way I actually mentioned

7:07 this in one of Justin Scar's Vlogs does

7:10 anyone have any idea why those ponchos

7:14 are clear now if you have gone to Walt

7:16 Disney World or to Disneyland for years

7:18 you will remember that the ponchos used

7:20 to be yellow and they used to have like

7:22 a Mickey Mouse on the front of them they

7:24 no longer are the color yellow and do

7:27 you know the reason why those ponchos

7:29 are made out of white even the driver of

7:32 that Main Street vehicle which just so

7:34 happens to be one of the Fantastic

7:35 things about Disneyland is also wearing

7:37 a clear Poncho the answer to your

7:40 question why are the ponchos white clear

7:44 white

7:45 plastic is basically because back in the

7:48 day large groups of family would show up

7:51 with these ponchos that were made of

7:52 yellow and you could not see who your

7:55 family members were so if you lost

7:57 someone if you lost your dad if you lost

7:59 your mom you lost your child whoever it

8:02 was that was running around let's get

8:03 underneath here because it is raining

8:06 very hard you would lose your family and

8:08 you would say that's my family member

8:09 you would run up you would shake the

8:11 shoulder of said family member and then

8:14 they would turn around and you would

8:15 realize that is not my family member

8:18 that is a total stranger but you thought

8:21 they were your family member because you

8:22 could not see the clothes that they were

8:24 wearing underneath the yellow Poncho you

8:26 see a yellow Poncho there you see a

8:28 yellow p Poncho over there they no

8:31 longer sell yellow ponchos in the park

8:33 now they are all white clear white not

8:36 even white just completely clear ponchos

8:40 with the Disney parks logo on the back

8:42 with Mickey there smiling at us and that

8:45 way you can actually tell who your

8:46 family members are or who your family

8:49 members

8:51 aren't I am stuck here it is now raining

8:54 very very hard it is Friday by the way

8:59 if you go back to the hub where they

9:00 have all the the TV show stu stuff set

9:02 up you'll notice the trees that look

9:04 like this in the main very first Hub

9:06 that when you come in there's Walt

9:08 apartment in the firehouse there's the

9:10 train station my favorite spot in the

9:12 park is the top of the train station if

9:15 you're ever out here at Disneyland odds

9:16 are if I am in the park before I leave

9:19 the park I will sit up there for about

9:20 10 to 15 minutes and do a little soul

9:23 searching a little thinking a little

9:25 reminiscing about my life as well as how

9:28 awesome Disneyland is and Walt Disney's

9:31 vision is so I will sit up there so

9:33 that's a little another insid or tip if

9:35 you see me post on Instagram or Twitter

9:37 or Facebook about being at Disneyland

9:39 most likely as I leave as I depart I

9:42 usually hang out at the top of the train

9:44 station and I notice the top of the

9:45 train station looking at the castle

9:47 which you can kind of see through the

9:50 rain and underneath these

9:52 umbrellas the top of the castle and Main

9:55 Street was getting very difficult to see

9:57 because the trees like this one were

9:59 being becoming very full of foliage

10:01 they've actually removed and they've cut

10:03 the trees back and you can actually see

10:06 the castle and you can see Main Street a

10:08 whole heck of a lot better than you used

10:09 to that makes me very happy especially

10:12 because on the 60th anniversary

10:14 celebration which just so happens to be

10:18 one week from today it begins now the

10:20 60th anniversary is not till July

10:23 17 but the 60th anniversary celebration

10:27 the yearlong celebration has kind of

10:30 already started but it officially begins

10:33 one week from today so what is my

10:36 Disneyland rainy day announcement you

10:39 might ask well I'm about to tell you one

10:42 week from today the 60th anniversary

10:45 celebration begins here at Disneyland

10:48 and they are actually opening the gates

10:51 for

10:52 24 2 4 4 hours more than 20 8 hours more

10:58 than 16 12 * 2 equal 24 hours in a row

11:04 this park will be open to the public if

11:08 you so purchase a ticket and I will be

11:13 here prior to 6:00 a.m. a week from

11:16 today I will be doing my Vlog which by

11:17 the way I know this is my second

11:19 Disneyland Vlog in a row that I've done

11:22 from Disneyland on The Daily Vlog I

11:24 don't normally do two days in a row but

11:27 I wanted to let you guys know that I

11:28 will be out here one week from today

11:31 stomping the pavement of Main Street

11:34 with a gazillion other people I think

11:37 that's actually the accurate amount of

11:38 people who could fit in Disneyland a

11:41 gazillion amount of people walking

11:43 around Disneyland for 24 straight hours

11:47 however I want to be in the park by 6:00

11:49 a.m. which means I need to get here

11:50 around 4: or 4:30 a.m. so I will

11:53 actually be on a 26 or a 27h hour

11:58 Endeavor starting next next week one

12:00 week from today so if you have a

12:02 Disneyland annual pass or you have

12:03 purchased a ticket to Disneyland and you

12:59 hours straight the very first time they

13:01 ever opened their gates for 24 hours you

13:10 and then last year's 24-hour celebration

13:13 that they did here but this celebration

13:15 is going to be much more moment

13:25 about that 60 freaking years this place

13:29 place has been open and we are going to

13:31 go back into the rain right now I should

13:34 not be doing this with my camera I do

13:36 not know how well these iPhones I had

13:41 I have an Otter Box on it which protects

13:42 it a little bit I do not know how well

13:45 this actually is going to

13:53 stifen the rain but we're going to try

14:21 there is not a soul in front of the

14:23 partner statue not one person except me

14:26 and you vicariously are in front of the

14:29 partner statue look at this completely

14:33 Barren and empty Walt and Mickey the

14:36 ultimate Partners ever the Disneyland

14:40 Transportation the double deckor bus is

14:42 actually completely empty as well there

14:44 is Main Street look at how few people

14:47 are actually over there my favorite

14:49 coffee stand which is right over there

14:51 which I have not had coffee in over 33

14:54 34 days I don't even know what day I am

14:55 on gosh I am way over a month where all

14:58 I've had to drink is just water no tea

15:00 no milk no coffee no juice no soda not

15:03 even Mountain Dew nothing except water

15:06 and my nutrients maybe that's why I have

15:09 inspired the clouds to rain down upon us

15:12 look at this there's virtually no one

15:15 out here except me holding an iPhone 5

15:17 that is getting completely drenched in

15:21 water and rain we should go underneath

15:24 here get out of the water oh my gosh

15:30 I'm completely soaked look at this this

15:32 is actually a gray a light gray hoodie

15:36 but today it's dark gray because the

15:38 water has actually

15:41 festooned the top of this and my hat oh

15:44 my gosh I am completely absolutely

15:48 soaked check out fantasy Lam no one on

15:53 fantasy land no one in fantasy land or

15:56 on fantasy land for that matter which

15:58 brings to another point this is actually

16:00 a really good time to ride some rides so

16:03 I'm actually going to go and ride some

16:06 of the rides in fantasy land which is my

16:08 favorite area of the park a lot of

16:10 people ask what is your favorite section

16:12 what is your favorite land what is your

16:13 favorite region of the park that would

16:16 be Fantasy Land because I love dark

16:19 rides if you don't know what a dark ride

16:21 is that would be basically this section

16:23 of the park Mr Toad's Wild Ride over

16:26 there which is one of my personal

16:28 favorites and and then Pinocchio's

16:29 daring Journey which is an unknown

16:32 hidden favorite a lot of people do not

16:35 actually put this in their top rides but

16:37 this is actually one of my favorite dark

16:39 rides Pinocchio's daring Journey which

16:41 they are refurbishing the outside for

16:44 the 60th anniversary and of course Snow

16:47 Whites scary adventures and if you look

16:50 closely you can actually see the witch

16:53 right up here watch The Witch as she

16:54 opens the window and says hello or

16:57 should I say says goodbye to the Daily

17:01 woo Vlog there's the witch
