0:03 welcome everyone Adam the woo here
0:03 coming to you from Riverside California
0:05 at a fantastic location by the name of
0:08 the mission in this place is knee in
0:12 history there's a couple things I want
0:14 to show you here in the lobby of the
0:17 mission in and the interesting thing
0:19 about the mission in what I read online
0:21 back in the day the city almost
0:23 bulldozed this and made it a parking lot
0:26 and one vote one vote SA saved this
0:31 historic location from its demise it's
0:35 my second channel daily Vlog channel
0:36 it's the daily woo and you can see the
0:39 lobby is absolutely breathtaking and I
0:42 almost lost my breath by tripping I
0:44 almost I almost tripped right
0:47 there would not have been good if I
0:49 would have broke an
0:51 ankle here at the
1:01 historic it's the daily woo look how
1:01 beautiful this is the chandelier
1:04 dangling there she's carrying a
1:07 chandelier this place is full of
1:11 chandeliers and it's also full of
1:14 presidential history if you've seen
1:16 recently on my main channel the Adam the
1:18 woo channel the Richard Nixon helicopter
1:21 you should go watch that if you have or
1:23 have not watch that you will find it
1:25 very interesting that Richard Milhouse
1:29 Nixon
1:30 who was portrayed right here was married
1:34 to his wife Pat
1:37 Nixon right here at the Mission Inn in
1:40 fact there is a placard signifying
1:43 mission in Richard Milhouse Nixon 37th
1:46 president president of the United States
1:47 was married here to Patricia Ryan on
1:51 June 21st
1:54 1940 and they celebrate the president
1:56 here in fact there is a presidential
1:58 Lounge that you can eat inside of look
2:02 how awesome this place is and look at
2:05 the courtyard oh look at this stained
2:08 glass stained glass here saying
2:10 presidential lounge and look out in the
2:19 courtyard they definitely embrace the
2:19 presidency here with the presidential
2:22 seal right here on the ground and
2:25 portraits of quite a few of the
2:27 presidents who have visited
2:30 this establishment George Bush Ronald
2:33 Reagan well well well John F Kennedy and
2:40 a number of others the thing I wanted to
2:42 show you in this Vlog was not the
2:44 presidential loung was not Lounge not
2:47 the presidential Lou what is a
2:49 presidential Lou presidential Lounge not
2:53 the stairway that I almost broke my
2:55 ankle on not the
2:58 chandeliers not the fact that Richard
3:00 Nixon was married here but I want to
3:03 show you an artifact even older than the
3:06 Nixon Administration have you ever heard
3:09 of President Taft he was actually a
3:12 larger man he was a
3:14 full-sized man and they had to build a
3:17 chair specifically for him to sit in and
3:21 the presidential chair is still here on
3:26 the
3:27 property president ta's chair is right
3:30 right
3:42 there the president T's
3:42 chair October 12th
3:47 1909 think about that that was over
3:58 1007 years ago President Taft sat right
3:58 here in
4:00 this chair now just think about it if
4:02 you were to sit in that
4:04 chair the where you put your arms would
4:07 be here normally but they've extended it
4:10 out that way a a man of larger
4:14 proportions like myself could sit in
4:18 this chair so I'm going to sit I'm going
4:20 to sit right now look at this I'm
4:22 sitting in president ta look how much
4:25 arm room there is there's arm room on
4:27 this side there arm room on this side
4:31 also I got a new t-shirt look at this my
4:33 sweet new Disneyland Fantasy Land
4:37 t-shirt but I am in president ta's chair
4:39 and I must say it is very roomy there is
4:42 plenty of room here in the chair you
4:45 could store some little
4:47 magazines right inside of there look at
4:50 the shy of this chair president tas's
4:55 chair from a banquet in his honor d
4:59 dated October 12th
5:03 1909 that is super
5:14 awesome president ta's gargantuan chair
5:14 right there pretty
5:23 cool I hope you've enjoyed this look
5:23 into the past of the presidential past
5:26 and the presidential chair if you're
5:28 ever in Riverside stop by the mission in
5:30 this place is absolutely fantastic first
5:33 time I've ever been in here I have not
5:35 delved into the backstory on a lot of
5:38 the historical artifacts that are here
5:40 but I will be visiting on multiple
5:42 occasions rest assured about that one
