0:14 area you can see is pretty empty on the

0:16 Saturday morning usually Saturday is

0:21 a mall region but the back end of this

0:24 mall I guess you could say it's

0:26 abandoned even though parts of the mall

0:28 are now reopened this area back here

0:31 is kind of a weird little area and I

0:34 want to share a couple little fun

0:36 tidbits about this mall with you but

2:07 Festival of a mall so I drove around the

2:09 back side of today here on this Saturday

2:13 actually right over here there's an old

2:16 wave pool which I believe was a Ron John

2:19 Surf shops right here on the left hand

2:22 side and they've actually started

2:24 tearing it down this mall is being

2:27 renovated the back end the front end has

2:28 new shops

2:30 new money spending

2:33 Adventure festooning inside in the form

2:37 of retail establishments but on the back

2:39 end they're doing some work and they've

2:42 actually started tearing down this old

2:44 wave pool check this out you can see

2:47 some of the equipment there and there's

2:49 the old wave pool which was a surf

2:51 machine right there look at that

3:06 and I have to be honest with you before

3:06 I was told about on Facebook I never

3:09 actually knew that this was actually

3:11 here so it's cool that through Facebook

3:14 and Instagram and Twitter you guys alert

3:16 to me that things actually exist because

3:19 I don't know everything that's out there

3:20 in the world but I do know there is a

3:22 security guy right there watching us

3:25 driving around he's looped around twice

3:29 I wasn't to film the Vlog at first cuz

3:30 he was got to give me the eye like I

3:36 circular around the parking lot of

3:38 course I am screaming like Doc Brown

3:41 that might have a lot to do with

3:43 disturbing the backside of the small I

3:46 do not want to disturb anyone is anybody

3:52 actually here used to be the entrance to

3:54 the backs side of the mall and there

3:55 used to actually be a Vans skate park

3:58 right here and there are heart of the

4:00 skate ramps still left still left not

4:04 laughing they could be laughing but they

4:06 are left right over this wall

4:34 years ago this is actually a very

4:34 thriving bustling area and it would

4:36 always be kids out here skateboarding in

4:38 fact you can actually see one of the

4:41 signs you actually allowed to skateboard

4:43 in there and then inside this big

4:45 building you could actually skateboard

4:48 as well and here's a sign it says no

4:50 skateboarding rollerblading or bicycle

4:53 riding

5:01 but the thing is no one's out here

5:01 skateboarding in fact no one's out here

5:03 doing anything except me who just so

5:05 happens to be walking around this was

5:07 the Vans the shoe company Vans it was

5:10 their skate park it was a massive

5:13 Endeavor it went under for whatever

5:15 reason either because of the mall or

5:17 because of the van Corporation not doing

5:19 as well as it once was but you can

5:21 actually see it says Vans skate park

5:24 very faintly on the window I'm not sure

5:26 if you can see that but look inside

5:35 I almost just got attacked by a wasp

5:35 there was a wasp that was just kening

5:38 right there in the

5:39 corner of that look at this here's

5:41 another Relic look at this

5:43 Relic it's a phone booth who remembers

5:46 these it's very difficult to find a pay

5:48 phone anymore but here is a shell of a

5:52 former

5:54 Relic known as a foam boo so there's two

5:57 awesome things if you're ever in the

5:59 Orlando area drive by the FES Bay Mall

6:02 drive around the backside and you can

6:04 see the old vans skate park you can see

6:09 the old ramps the outdoor ramps are

6:12 there and if you're feeling very

6:15 inspired and excited to roam around and

6:18 see other things you can check out the

6:20 old wave pool area which is right over

6:24 there looks like there's somebody doing

6:26 some work either that or it's another

6:27 security guard

6:39 it's very nice out nice and sunny I have

6:39 shorts on I have flip-flops on shorts

6:45 flip-flops I wonder if Doc Brown wonder
