0:07 2024 mark this down I'm marking it down
0:10 mentally and in the video as the first
0:13 day for my new journey into better
0:18 habits better eating
0:21 habits workout habits Etc something I
0:24 have done many times in the past but do
0:27 we it again this time
0:30 I'm hoping crossing my fingers and feel
0:34 pretty good about the fact that now I
0:36 have a homestead I have the ability to
0:39 be
0:40 cooking and I have the ability which all
0:43 day it's getting later in the afternoon
0:45 early evening all day I have been
0:48 building and setting up a home gym now
0:52 I'm still going to be traveling
0:53 especially when spring starts to happen
0:56 rears its head I will be hitting the
0:58 road hopping on some planes going to
1:02 some places and in those situations
1:04 obviously staying in hotels be able to
1:07 you know utilize the gems but I think
1:10 it'd be a great idea and it's happening
1:13 because I've already started putting
1:14 stuff in the
1:16 garage to have something as soon as I
1:18 wake up each morning can go work out hit
1:23 the treadmill hit the weights no excuses
1:26 and if I do have excuses it's all on me
1:30 it's not like I have to commute over to
1:31 a gemm
1:33 so
1:34 today showcase off the what I've been
1:37 putting in the gym talk about a few
1:39 things and going to be cooking something
1:42 in the kitchen and I know nothing about
1:45 cooking I am a noob when it I mean 49
1:49 years old and I'm I mean I don't had to
1:51 use a microwave I don't had to use an
1:52 oven but that's about it cooking
1:54 something in a pot putting seasoning on
1:57 it this is going to be a learning curve
1:59 for me me pretty pathetic I know
2:02 but it's always good to start good
2:06 habits even later in life I'm inviting
2:08 you to join me today as I discuss some
2:11 things and talk about what I just what I
2:13 was just mentioning shall you I got to
2:15 say I'm pretty unhappy and discouraged
2:18 with the weight I have gained since my
2:21 thin by Dragon Con last
2:23 year and that's kind of be expected ever
2:25 since Hawaii I also got these put the
2:27 pots up here I got this walk I think I
2:28 might utilize this tonight
2:30 and well anyway let me continue what I
2:32 was saying definitely a little
2:34 disappointed but again it's a new
2:37 year and things are going to happen I'm
2:39 going to utilize the stove this evening
2:41 that has Mickey right here on the top
2:44 the stove since I moved into the new
2:45 Homestead has not been utilized and I
2:48 have ordered an air fryer which will be
2:51 here tomorrow listening to some
2:52 suggestions by some friends
2:55 acquaintances people I don't know
2:58 commenters
3:00 and a lot of people were suggesting
3:02 getting an air fryer so I'm I got an air
3:04 fryer that's going to fit right over
3:06 here I'm also on occasion going to get
3:09 some bananas and some strawberries and
3:11 use this neutr bullet which I've had for
3:12 a couple years which I hardly ever use I
3:14 also purchased this bad boy look at this
3:17 cutting
3:19 board now I think tonight I'm just going
3:21 to maybe get a couple bags
3:23 of different veggies and cook them in
3:28 the little walk right over here but once
3:31 the air air fryer comes in I can start
3:34 utilizing that and my goal is to just
3:37 start eating healthy at home now when I
3:40 go out I might get something that's a
3:42 cheat day here and there like maybe like
3:44 once a week cheat day but really I want
3:45 to stick to my guns on this now last
3:47 year when I dropped all the weight
3:48 before the convention of Dragon Con I
3:51 got down to 216 I believe it was wasn't
3:54 214 216 218 it was just below 220 but I
3:58 think it was 26 16 lb I am way heavier
4:02 than that now I am not as heavy as I was
4:05 when I started the thin by Dragon Con
4:08 last year but I'm getting up there so
4:10 it's time to kind of twist that around
4:13 reverse it and I am not going to be
4:15 hopping on a scale on a daily basis I'm
4:17 not even going to get on a scale today I
4:20 am just going to see the progress of how
4:22 this goes on over the next month or two
4:25 and when I feel down physically when I
4:27 can see myself in the mirror or on
4:29 camera
4:30 when I think I'm at about where I was
4:32 around the 216 218 220 mark then I'll
4:36 jump on a scale and go from there but I
4:38 want to be way less than the 216 by my
4:42 birthday which is August 10th of
4:45 2024 the thin by Dragon Con was last
4:48 year this is fit by 50 all right so this
4:52 is my garage it's going to be a little
4:53 echoey in here at the moment and it's
4:56 already starting to get kind of the sun
4:58 is starting to go down outside so you're
5:00 not getting a light lot of light in from
5:02 the windows I think I'm probably going
5:04 to add in a couple more lights in here I
5:06 might even add in a big fan or two now I
5:09 do have a ceiling fan that you can see
5:12 is circling right over there washer and
5:13 dryer is over in that corner as well I
5:16 have my gy E2 in here also as well and I
5:21 think I'm going to add in a maybe a big
5:24 box fan or something of that nature now
5:26 right now it's not very it's not very
5:28 warm in Florida
5:30 so it's not too unbearable during the
5:32 day in fact today I was in here all day
5:33 putting the stuff together I didn't even
5:35 like really break a sweat it was like
5:37 nice and cool and good thing about my
5:39 place it's like uh just it seems like
5:42 it's not going to be incredibly hot in
5:45 here cuz it hasn't been hot in here yet
5:47 but I'll keep you posted on that when
5:49 June and July hits and spring hits and
5:51 going into to Summer and all that this
5:53 will be a sweltering Inferno of Hades I
5:57 am
5:58 sure but that is not that big of an
6:00 issue because I will just be in shorts
6:03 in a t-shirt sometimes maybe not even in
6:05 a t-shirt soon as I wake up I'll hop in
6:08 here to the garage each day I will
6:10 either be doing some cardio on the
6:12 treadmill 45 minutes to an hour on the
6:14 treadmill or and or lifting some weights
6:18 which I have some weights over here and
6:19 I'm going to go up to Dick sporty Goods
6:21 a little bit later traffic on I4
6:23 westbound is pretty brutal right now so
6:26 I'm waiting for that to kind of downsize
6:27 a little bit before I end up head over
6:29 there but I'm going to add on a few
6:31 other things onto what I got but take a
6:34 look I also added and built these metal
6:37 cabinets over in here this garage was
6:38 completely different when I moved in so
6:41 I've added a few things removed a few
6:42 things threw a few things out gave some
6:44 things away and now I've added the
6:46 cabinets over there which I have my I
6:49 have my magnets on I'm no longer putting
6:51 magnets on the fridge I'm going to have
6:52 them here in the garage this weight
6:54 bench delivered put the bar together put
6:56 the weights together not a lot of weight
6:58 on here not a lot of heaviness now over
7:00 time I'm not really that strong I'm not
7:02 really in shape so it's going to take
7:04 some time to build this up right now
7:06 it's only got like 40 lb total like 20
7:09 lb on each side but that's enough to
7:12 just kind of you know work the chest a
7:14 little bit things like that you know for
7:16 now and then I'll add on as time goes on
7:19 again I think I'm going to go to the
7:20 sporting good store they close at 9:00
7:22 and get there after the traffic kind of
7:23 dies down maybe add in a couple other
7:25 things I also purchased these for the
7:27 floor that are kind of cushiony
7:29 right over here but this will you know
7:31 I'll do a few reps on this maybe three
7:33 sets of 12 or three sets of 15 on this
7:35 each day and as time goes on I can buy
7:38 more weights add on to that as well so
7:40 it's just basically not going to be a
7:42 race this is going to be a just a kind
7:44 of a slow process so the brand that I
7:47 got of the
7:49 particular treadmill that I got is
7:51 called sound run you can see it right
7:54 there sound run and I like it because I
7:57 can connect Bluetooth up to it so when I
8:00 was out here working earlier putting all
8:02 this together you know tightening the
8:04 screws getting the nuts and bolts get it
8:07 all together I am not a handyman at all
8:10 so it it took me a while it was really
8:13 I'm say it was stressful but it took a
8:15 while not only to put all these together
8:17 which I've been putting these together
8:18 over the last series of days but today I
8:21 put this together I put the treadmill
8:23 together and I put this which I have
8:25 wanted one of these to own one of these
8:29 for a heck of a long time this is like
8:31 my favorite thing I think at the gym and
8:35 I don't really like going to the gym I
8:37 don't like getting in a vehicle
8:39 commuting to a gym waiting for a machine
8:41 to be ready and working out in front of
8:43 people I just don't like it I'll do it
8:46 it's a necessity sometimes you have to I
8:49 I'm pretty self-motivated and I think
8:51 this is going to be better for me
8:52 knowing it's always here at any time of
8:54 night it's not going to close I always
8:57 have it at my disposal
9:00 I'm I'm kind of excited about this the
9:02 light just went off I turn the light
9:03 back on for now I just have these 10 lb
9:05 weights 20 lb weights probably should
9:08 get some 15s in there as well and I
9:10 might even get some fives just to do
9:12 some some smaller stuff like like arm
9:16 lifts and pull their arms out to the
9:17 side different different exercise and
9:18 things like that as far as curls again
9:21 I'm not like some he man I'm not AR I'm
9:23 not on so I don't need a lot of weight I
9:26 just want to I want to get a get a
9:28 little fitter
9:29 by doing this get repetitions more reps
9:33 and kind of drop some weight and get
9:35 toned that way hopefully by Spring and
9:37 by summer I got how many I wonder how
9:39 many days it is to August 10th now on
9:41 August 10th I'm going to be in
9:42 California on my birthday on the 10th I
9:44 will be a d23 Expo they don't call it
9:47 Expo anymore they call it d23 so I'm
9:49 going to be there and I should be in
9:52 probably the best shape of my life if I
9:54 could stick to
9:56 this on my birthday on my 50th by 50
9:59 it'll be a good it'll be a good pivotal
10:02 time frame to kind of be in SoCal at a
10:05 really good event I love also this is
10:07 all my Disney pens the pass holder pens
10:09 I haven't placed a display now so on the
10:11 fridge there was no more room on my
10:13 fridge at my apartment I didn't want to
10:15 put these on the fridge I have here cuz
10:17 it just was looking a little clutter
10:19 there was no more room I was stopping to
10:21 even buy any because I didn't want to
10:22 buy any more cuz I had no room for them
10:24 but now I have plenty of room so I can
10:27 keep getting the passholder pin when
10:28 they come out all the weird wacky ones
10:31 anniversary pens things like that I got
10:34 the entire one over here I can start
10:36 filling up I've also got the sides I got
10:39 the lower portions down here I got the
10:42 side over here I can fill up and if I
10:46 feel like it if I get the hankering I
10:48 can order another one of these and put
10:49 another one of these together and make
10:50 it more uniform where it matches up with
10:53 the top of that and that will just this
10:55 will be like a magnet Haven of sorts
10:59 got all the places that I've traveled
11:01 that I bought magnets at at least ones
11:03 that I haven't lost or kind of fell by
11:06 the wayside or couldn't find these are
11:08 the ones here they just got a real caade
11:11 of magnets through
11:13 here kind of scattered all around places
11:15 I've stayed roadside attractions I've
11:18 been to little memories that I've
11:22 had in my lifetime and in my YouTube
11:25 career travel
11:27 career but I like this I like the fact
11:30 that I have magnets there's different
11:32 there's different ways you can display
11:34 magnets but I really like just like a
11:35 metal cabinet so that's what I did right
11:38 there so I also bought these these
11:40 little I might put more of these around
11:42 that are cushioning now I tested all
11:44 this stuff out today but I didn't really
11:45 do a hard workout I was on the treadmill
11:47 for like 5 minutes just testing it out
11:49 see how it all works see if the
11:50 elevation goes up and down how the
11:52 speeds work how the Bluetooth works now
11:55 there is no TV on there so I can't
11:58 connect to like Bluetooth with the TV
12:00 off my phone or like tether to that and
12:03 have that that screen have it on there
12:05 but I'm thinking maybe at some point I
12:07 could even put a TV and maybe have it up
12:10 there or maybe just listen to podcast I
12:12 don't know that that could that I got to
12:14 think about that down the road but I
12:16 want to spend a lot of time in here and
12:17 again I don't mind the fact that I know
12:19 it's going to be hot in the summertime
12:21 because you're working out you're
12:23 sweating anyway I'll have a fan on me
12:25 and if I could just Crush an hour each
12:27 morning or at night I wait till night
12:30 does not necessarily on a time frame I
12:32 just want to have it here at my you know
12:35 at my at uh what do you call it at my
12:38 disposal almost said exposal my disposal
12:41 I think it's a a positive positive thing
12:44 you would it really was crazy how long
12:46 it took me to put this stupid thing
12:47 together but I got it put together ready
12:49 to rock the treadmill was not that
12:53 difficult to put together that was
12:54 probably the easier of all of them this
12:56 thing took a while CU was all kind of
12:57 like screws nothing and bolts you got to
12:59 like take the wrenches and get it all
13:02 set up and you got to make sure it's
13:04 secure so you put your arms here and
13:07 then you put one on the either side and
13:08 then you do the leg lift I do I don't
13:11 have the best back in the world so when
13:13 I'm doing crunches and sit-ups it's it
13:15 really does hurt my back this does not
13:17 hurt my back at all so this is why I
13:19 always loved a machine like this at the
13:22 gym you rust your back up against here
13:24 you Nestle your elbows right on right on
13:27 here on either side and you do the leg
13:29 lifts and it works your abs and your
13:31 legs and your core and all that so This
13:34 Love This Love This machine right here
13:37 so there it is that's that's the inside
13:40 of the garage and the gym is going to be
13:42 a work in progress this is probably
13:44 going to get a little more expansive but
13:46 these are basically the the core units
13:48 that I'm going to be using oh yeah over
13:49 the corner I still have my bike right
13:51 over here and I still have my scooter as
13:53 well so a lot of room in a lot of room
13:55 in the garage which I love I love having
13:57 a garage and utilizing it I'm trying to
14:00 I'm trying over time to utilize every
14:03 space in this place for something just
14:06 want to have like this little this
14:08 little compound of fun not the most
14:11 exciting place that there is but it was
14:15 going to serve a purpose in here again
14:17 it's very echoey I might work out with
14:19 the garage door open I don't I'm not
14:21 sure if it gets too warm in here I could
14:23 open the garage door but I'm liking this
14:26 so far again this is a work massive work
14:30 in progress right here let me get
14:39 the I don't know why I'm holding this
14:39 probably to see maybe if I could get a
14:41 good
14:42 thumbnail again I'm going to end up
14:44 heading down to Dick Sport Goods over in
14:46 Highway 27 in Davenport see what else I
14:49 can add into this maybe even get a few
14:51 more of the free weights and maybe get
14:54 one of those Diamond triangle things to
14:56 put the weights on so they're not right
14:58 there on the Shelf maybe add some more
15:00 weights onto here and then just see what
15:03 else I can find just sort of try to do a
15:06 multitude of daily workouts nothing too
15:09 intense but if I can do it on the
15:11 regular I think it'll make a it'll make
15:13 a big difference and this physique which
15:18 has gone by the wayside this is a train
15:20 rep right now that needs to get back on
15:22 track has gone off the rails it's been
15:24 derailed and I got to this is going to
15:27 be good for getting it back on track get
15:28 it back on the rail got to reel it back
15:30 in all right I'm also going to be

15:43 mean that right felt like a workout
15:44 itself and then I just tested the stuff
15:47 out to make sure it was structurally
15:48 sound could hold my weight did a few
15:51 reps but nothing too crazy tomorrow

17:06 p.m. I could have waited a little bit
17:08 but I'm going to go get the stuff and
17:10 then prepare the food and then not go

17:47 right got a couple items I ended up
17:49 getting some 15 lb weights some 5 lb
17:51 weights that I didn't have the free
17:52 weights and I also got some of the ones
17:55 for the barbell that go for the for the
17:57 weight bench I got a couple 25s right
18:01 there also got some workout shorts cuz I
18:04 was starting to get kind of low on those
18:05 and then also one thing that you'll see
18:09 should go do a lot of garage sailing
18:11 maybe the most popular item that you'll
18:13 ever find in a garage sale is one of
18:15 these ab workout AB wheel things but
18:18 this is kind of like a modified version
18:19 of that I fig that'd be kind of good too
18:21 I can do those leg lift things which are
18:23 good for me it's easier to doing
18:25 crunches and then I can also do the the
18:27 ab wheel each day
18:28 and I should definitely uh definitely
18:30 see some some atoning going
18:34 on over over time hopefully with with
18:37 everything I got going on I made it back
18:39 over to Celebration and this new
18:41 Public's opened about four or five
18:42 months ago I have not been in it I
18:44 usually will go over to the one by the
18:46 water tower on 192 side this is on the
18:49 other side this is on the world Drive
18:51 side and I4 side but love the art deco
18:55 look of this I've been wanting to go in
18:56 here for a while so I figur this is
18:57 appropriate occas
18:59 and I did a little countdown clock I
19:00 kind of searched online it's like 207
19:03 days according to that till my birthday
19:05 August
19:06 10th or 50th so let's just call it about
19:10 200 days till the start of
19:13 August I should be able to lose 50 lbs
19:15 by then I don't know what I'm at now but
19:17 I should be able to get down to 200 lb
19:20 and be fit be in shape be looking good
19:23 being in
19:24 Slender and got some muscle tone that's
19:28 my goal 200 by by August
19:31 1st or around that time period I'm be at
19:34 200 pounds and
19:37 Sleek 200 200 days to accomplish let's
19:41 say 50 lb probably it's probably more
19:42 like 35 lb or 40 lb but yeah all right
19:45 here's what I got so I got a salad which
19:48 is obviously prepackaged up it's got the
19:50 BS head
19:51 bold chef salad but I got these I'm
19:54 going to cook up in the in the little
19:56 pan walk thing
19:58 these Green Giant restaurant style
20:01 asparagus red potatoes and onions and
20:03 also some honey glazed carrots Sage
20:05 butter and I also got these to kind of
20:07 munch on and these will probably eat
20:10 tomorrow I got some I got a couple baked
20:12 potatoes but I do love just like a plain
20:14 baked potato and then I got this here
20:16 tomorrow too triple suck
20:18 attach and some chickpeas I kind of want
20:20 to maybe it's some point learn how to
20:23 cook
20:25 chickpeas like on the stove top so I'm
20:28 thinking this this will probably be what
20:30 I'll munch on tomorrow and then this
20:33 will be this will be tonight all right I
20:35 got the bags dumped in there got the
20:37 olive oil in there now I think in the
20:39 future probably start getting some fresh
20:41 veggies from the produce department cut
20:44 them up on this impressive cutting
20:47 board you know but for starters it's
20:49 going to be a work in
20:56 progress got it on half temperature I
20:56 think you're supposed to cover it but
20:59 should be fine just sautéing it like
21:01 this also have some Tupperware I've got
21:03 from garage sales and thrift stores over
21:05 the years love some love some
21:08 Tupperware CU I have leftovers which I
21:10 probably won't cuz I haven't eaten all
21:11 day so I'm pretty hungry but I do love
21:13 some good Tupperware in fact Target
21:15 sells some I got this the other day
21:17 Target sells new Tupperware which is
21:18 pretty awesome Tupperware used to never
21:20 be sold in stores but this day and age I
21:23 guess it's like a different
21:45 today a lot of veggies right there a lot
21:45 of lot of
