0:44 California Ralph's is actually a grocery

0:47 store and I just got a few groceries and

0:49 when I say groceries the bare minimum of

0:52 groceries the nutrients if you will and

0:54 if you cannot get the hint from this

1:03 buggy Mountain Dew they had a sale three

1:09 what they do when they have a sale just

1:13 clothing men and when I say men I mean

1:16 me because I am a man Whenever there is

1:19 a deal on Mountain Dew 312 packs I will

1:26 go to the next level and actually

1:27 purchase go to go to the next level and

1:30 purchase as much Mountain Dew as will

1:32 fit in my cart that my billfold will

1:35 afford which is not very much at this

1:37 time however Mountain Dew is very

1:40 important to me as you can tell I'm

1:42 wearing the t-shirt that you guys sent

1:43 me in a mail Vlog in fact two of these

1:46 t-shirts are now in my

1:48 possessions thank you to the Fine people

1:51 who sent me two Mountain Dew t-shirts I

1:55 think the slogan back in the day was

1:56 it'll tickle your your innards and it

1:59 certainly does it definitely tickles my

2:02 ERS why do I keep looking over there why

2:04 do I keep pointing over there is because

2:05 on the other side of Ralphs there is

2:07 actually a recycle center one day I'm

2:09 going to do a vlog about how you can

2:11 actually recycle your cans from these

2:13 12packs and actually get some money back

2:16 but I've never actually done it myself

2:18 but I'm very

2:19 curious to do that basically what I

2:22 wanted to do today was to talk about

2:25 grocery stores like this Ral that you

2:27 see right over there why am I talking

2:31 about grocery stores because a lot of

2:33 people want to know back in a former

2:36 life back in my retail days I actually

2:38 used to work at many of grocery stores

2:42 my entire work career was in retail and

2:46 a lot of it consisted of grocery stores

2:49 just like that of course this was in

2:52 Florida if you're familiar with Florida

2:54 and East Coast grocery store I started

2:56 working at a Publix grocery store and

2:59 then I worked at wind Dixie and I worked

3:01 at Super Walmart I was a grocery manager

3:04 a frozen food manager and a dairy

3:06 manager this is over a span of about 15

3:08 almost 20 years working at grocery

3:13 stores third shift second shift first

3:17 shift all kind of shifts all kind of

3:21 people that you have to deal with on a

3:22 daily basis I want to give a shout out

3:25 to those in retail especially those in

3:29 grocery retail and if any of you out

3:32 there that are watching this have ever

3:34 worked overnight grocery or any

3:36 overnight stock crew I feel your pain

3:40 and I am giving you my what is not

3:43 condensation cuz that's not that would

3:45 be rain I'm giving you my commencement

3:47 speech in honor of you because I sir

3:52 ma'am and children that eventually one

3:55 day will work in grocery stores on third

3:58 shift I am giving of myself a little

4:02 part of me is sending this out to you a

4:04 shout out to all the retail workers out

4:08 there especially those that work grocery

4:12 or a third shift stock crew it's a very

4:16 unappreciated job and I can remember all

4:19 those places I worked the people on the

4:21 date day not the date the day crew

4:25 always would come up to me and say what

4:27 do you and your stock crew do all night

4:29 what do you guys do the store is

4:32 closed how do you think the magical

4:36 items appear on the shelves these are

4:40 people that worked in the stores just

4:42 like this that worked during the day

4:45 that just went in to help customers they

4:47 would stock a few things here and there

4:49 but

4:50 99% of the stocking of the shelves in

4:53 stores like this normally happen on the

4:55 night crew so if you work day at a

4:58 grocery store make sure sure you

5:00 highfive or give the night crew a pad on

5:03 the back because that is what I did and

5:05 it's a very

5:07 underappreciated job I assure you there

5:10 are tons of underappreciated jobs but

5:13 the unappreciated job that I am speaking

5:15 of is something that I did for almost

5:16 two decades and I will never forget the

5:20 struggle I will never forget over night

5:24 stock crew at a grocery store Ralph's is

5:27 new to me because I am now on the West

5:29 Coast

5:30 what kind of grocery stores do you have

5:32 in your area in your neck of the woods

5:35 what grocery stores do you shop at you

5:38 know about Ralphs some people have IG

5:41 some people have Piggly Wiggly some

5:42 people have Publix on the East Coast

5:44 some people shop at Super Walmart super

5:46 centers with the grocery store what do

5:49 you shop at and have you ever worked in

5:52 a grocery

5:54 store kind of a weird Vlog but I just

7:05 I tried it when I was visiting my sister

7:07 in Indiana she had this stuff in her

7:09 house and I actually tried it have you

7:11 ever had this stuff it's kind of this

7:12 gooey goodness there's a bunch of

7:14 different brands I don't know how this

7:15 brand is but it's aloe vera juice which

7:18 is also tickles your iners and I got

7:21 some pot pie some microwavable pot pies

7:24 which also leads me to another thing do

7:27 any of you guys old enough to remember

7:28 the microw non-micro not the

7:30 microwavable the non-microwavable pot

7:33 pies the one that came in the tin foil

7:36 tin that you put in the oven it took

7:38 about an hour to cook them for some

7:41 reason in my mind I remember the non

7:44 microwavable pot pies the ones that took

7:47 an hour cooking in the oven in the tin

7:49 tasting a little bit better what's your
