0:02 already open and inserted the creamer
0:02 packages going with the OC mug today and
0:09 to be a little more gentle with this
0:11 machinery especially in this time I
0:14 wouldn't want it to would want it to
0:17 break if that were to happen it would
0:20 not be good times and although really
0:25 don't need to stir
0:28 by putting the creamer in first
0:31 I have my tropical hideaway spork it's a
0:35 spoon and a fork can bite you can see
0:36 little grooves right there on the top
0:39 I'm gonna use that to mix it up a bit eh
0:58 normally the piranhas would be under the
0:58 liquid but not in this case just perched
1:02 above it there a piranha don't like
1:07 caffeine you dizzy piranha wearing the
1:19 appropriate t-shirt for today's subject
1:25 matter welcome everyone added the Wu
1:33 here back to the future here's my
1:36 all-time favorite movie
1:38 mostly for nostalgia reasons 1985 I was
1:43 11 years old and when I first saw it I
1:46 thought what in the heck is this
1:50 beautiful piece of filmmaking over the
1:54 years I have collected quite an
1:56 accumulation of items paraphernalia a
2:00 mishmash a plethora of things pertaining
2:04 to that series that trilogy if you will
2:09 and I would like to show them to you
2:11 some of them are on display some of them
2:13 are in boxes some of them are tucked
2:15 away the nooks and crannies of my
2:16 homestead but dig them out you can feast
2:20 your pardon I'm inviting you to join me
2:26 shalyah the magic number today is 12 two
2:30 days ago when I started did 10 push-ups
2:33 then yesterday did 11 going for a dozen
2:39 right now I'm pretty sore I don't really
2:43 feel like doing these have to be honest
2:44 but gotta be done
3:28 I know my form has a lot to be desired
3:28 I am NOT an expert at fitness at all as
3:33 I've been stating two sets of twelve ah
4:05 that's it for now that's it and now on
4:09 to my Back to the Future stuff here on
4:12 the bottom shelves there are some
4:14 records books other knickknacks
4:18 pertaining to this but we're gonna start
4:20 off with the top shelf the most obvious
4:25 are the two different-sized DeLoreans
4:28 larger one there on the left and the
4:31 smaller time-machine on the right with
4:35 the conducting hook going directly into
4:40 the flux capacitor
4:44 there's Doc Brown hanging out up there
4:46 too reading the bottom of this one
4:49 diamonds select and universal put this
4:52 out in 2012 I got the wing doors open
4:57 you can look down inside it's got all
4:59 the bells and whistles
5:06 this one still has the production date
5:06 sticker on it 7:25 2014 1:24 scale which
5:13 is a little smaller than its counterpart
5:24 here's a photograph of a very cool event
5:24 I attended up in Northern California
5:26 over a year ago for part three they were
5:30 taking pictures against the the western
5:34 backdrop clock I brought my own ensemble
5:38 bought a cowboy hat and appropriate garb
5:42 and when it comes to rarities I have not
5:46 seen many of these snow globes floating
5:51 around I got this
5:53 Tosh over two decades ago at Universal
5:57 Florida I was always interested to note
6:00 that the clock on the front is just a
6:03 random time nothing from the films
6:05 stated here 98 is when it was produced
6:09 in the barcode their tenor torn off the
6:14 parts of it still remained and all the
6:18 glitter floating down this thing is so
6:23 awesome and tough to find naturally have
6:28 to be cautious of the 1.21 jigowatts and
6:33 the Clocktower washy it's the archway
6:38 going into hill valley 2015 speed limit
6:42 is 20 miles per hour max no hovering
6:56 pretty sweet oh speaking of Clocktower
6:56 have to be gentle with us as I turn it
6:59 around there you go
7:01 there's the courthouse at that same
7:04 Northern California events they had
7:07 these frisbee pipe lights that reefer
7:10 not screen-used reproductions I got one
7:14 of those and I met someone once that had
7:18 the thermos that went with us I do not
7:21 have the thermos but I do have the
7:23 plastic lunchbox from 89 part two this
7:28 blu-ray set that came out a while back
7:29 is pretty fantastic it's full of lots of
7:32 special features and whatnot before I
7:34 dive into it show you the contents make
7:36 sure you shield your eyes from the light
7:41 because well
7:53 it's pretty heavy let's try it under the
7:53 shroud of darkness flute of an echo in
7:55 this enclosed room but here goes God
7:59 where's the button there it is
8:16 inside is a little pamphlet and
8:16 instruction sheet on how to replace the
8:18 batteries in the middle section here are
8:22 all the discs for the animated series
8:24 every episode of that cartoon spin-off
8:28 on the far left of course the trilogy
8:32 and other bonus features and a pretty
8:37 awesome visual history booklet as well
8:40 this was for the 30th anniversary that's
8:44 when that was released the discs are
8:47 stored inside these all heavy-duty
8:49 cardboard compartments you see them how
8:52 they just kind of slide in there and you
8:54 can notice all the bonus features as
8:57 well one thing I really like is the fact
8:59 that the ride that was at Universal
9:02 Studios Florida Hollywood and overseas
9:05 there is a complete ride through so you
9:11 can just sit on the couch and experience
9:14 that plenty to peruse in the visual
9:19 history facts figures photographs
9:35 remove some stuff from the bookshelf
9:35 there place them here for you to see a
9:38 little bit better
9:39 Laser desk don't be confused this is not
9:41 a record that is a laser disk kind of a
9:46 little bit around or I guess it was
9:49 around the VHS generation laser discs
9:52 were like a big thing and then next to
9:56 that two different vinyls one was out of
9:59 sleeve without of the soundtrack and on
10:02 this one I have placed you know the
10:04 Pizza Hut the small Pizza Hut emblem and
10:07 the blasts from the past
10:09 receipt there is a big community of
10:13 other beat ETF enjoyers Jeff Tucker
10:18 wrote a book called your friend in time
10:20 that's him down on the universal lot
10:23 when they had the futuristic part to
10:26 stuff set up the hoverboard which is
10:31 basically just a little notepad that
10:32 I've never used a couple books
10:41 I don't know what year this came out but
10:41 when I saw it I found it I don't know
10:44 how but I found it I just had to pick it
10:48 up the official book of the movie
10:53 trilogy and I hadn't seen it before you
10:57 do see a lot of documentation and
11:00 articles books etc etc but this was one
11:04 I had not I had not really seen so I
11:09 grabbed it my friend Natalie got me this
11:12 and a couple years ago for my birthday
11:15 fourth draft revised on 1012 1984 with
11:22 pink revisions on 1021 1984 and as you
11:27 can see there were some changes from
11:28 this to the final product on the screen
11:31 to save the clock tower moment Marty and
11:34 Susie who the heck is Susie you know
11:40 things progress things change it doesn't
11:43 always go according to plan there are
11:45 alterations lady can't you see I'm busy
11:48 here
11:49 and I was never sad pretty interesting
11:53 stuff just a flip through and just say
12:07 and obviously some stuff remained and
12:07 made it into the movie and check this
12:09 out George calls into the kitchen
12:11 Bertha how about bringing Marty his
12:15 french toast an uninformed maid enters
12:20 with the tray and sets a lovely plate of
12:22 french toast in front of Marty huh this
12:27 record still has the white paper sleeve
12:30 that it slides into and date stamp 1985
12:37 and a rainbow this shows just how large
12:42 and gargantuan those laser discs were
12:45 I've placed a regular dvd/blu-ray
12:49 to the side show the comparison and this
12:53 is not the sequel still the first even
12:55 though it has the number two right there
12:58 on it because there's two sides you got
13:00 to flip it over just like a record to
13:02 watch this unique shirt which I've never
13:04 seen it's equal was given to me by my
13:07 friend Jamie a few months ago and I'm
13:09 sporting it for this episode because it
13:11 just kind of makes sense I don't know
13:15 where it came from I didn't ask any
13:16 questions but I definitely embrace it
13:17 not really sure why I haven't put these
13:20 in a protective case yet but Tom Wilson
13:24 who was very prominent in the films gave
13:27 me this from the set from the pleasure
13:31 paradise as well as this napkin right
13:45 I treasure these a lot of these are from
13:45 when the filming was taking place and he
13:49 gave me these in person which means a
13:52 lot to me pretty dang cool the napkin
13:58 can be seen in part 2 when marty is
14:02 having his brow wiped off from sweat
14:05 from waking up from that dream she's
14:09 using this to wipe it off this is
14:12 obviously not the one that was used but
14:14 it was there that day and this is not a
14:17 recreation these can be seen in the
14:20 office when Michael J Fox playing Marty
14:25 picked one up and put it in his pocket
14:39 gonna dig a little bit deeper now into
14:39 some boxes that I have in storage
14:41 there's more there's lots more when you
14:45 show an interest in something people
14:46 tend to give you items from that
14:50 interest and this is a cell from the
14:53 animated series thank you for all the
14:56 videos your friend and time Steven from
15:00 the UK and Jeff Delgado amazing artist
15:03 to this rendition of the Peabody's when
15:07 it comes to pine trees he owned all of
15:10 it a bunch of different versions of
15:12 hotwheels Johnny lightning brand lego
15:20 someone even gave me the game for the
15:24 Wii I do not have that particular video
15:31 game system well I got distracted for a
15:33 second from the old fan club pamphlets
15:39 brochures magazines and I picked this up
15:42 on that particular date the USA Today
15:46 and might have all the license plates
15:51 like I said these are all just in boxes
15:55 don't really need to display them but
15:57 want to keep them safe wouldn't want
16:00 them to be erased an existence
16:05 wait that's that's the serie erased
16:09 every now erased existence browsing
16:15 through these magazines which came out
16:17 in spring of 90 you could order official
16:20 merchandise probably not still available
16:22 but you got the watches there some
16:26 little stickers this shrinking mechanism
16:41 pretty pretty good stuff this jacket is
16:41 great look at this sweet skateboard and
16:48 a price list just check off which one
16:52 you want and order away got shipped to
16:54 your door over in this room found a few
16:58 more articles stashed away in the closet
17:00 you're hearing a fan behind me this
17:04 house is full of noises whether it be
17:06 coffee maker the refrigerator with a
17:10 mind of its own in each room I have air
17:13 circulating through fans anyway back to
17:19 these some I got from the George Barris
17:21 complex up in Los Angeles a couple years
17:24 ago they were having a garage sale a big
17:27 yard sale out front and inside and there
17:30 was a lot of DeLorean memorabilia that
17:34 had never seen from B TT F which is
17:39 short for you know what like this for
17:42 example still has the universal price
17:45 tag on it here just under five dollars
17:49 which is something I had also never seen
17:52 before and the way it works is see if I
17:56 turn it this way okay that didn't work
17:58 we turn it there guys see so it shows
18:03 the statement and then there it is
18:14 pretty neat if you got to build a time
18:14 machine into a car why not do it with
18:17 some style price tag still on this as
18:21 well for ages 3 and up made of diecast
18:24 metal only $3.95 still has the price
18:30 point and this keychain also still has
18:37 the universal sticker on it but they
18:40 have covered it up with their own a
18:41 value $5 I paid for this worth it ush
18:52 another keychain and of course the
18:52 trading cards nine of them in there and
18:55 a sticker no gum I believe I can't feel
18:58 any gum it wouldn't be too edible at the
19:02 moment a little decal over here is
19:06 another keychain which the part that the
19:09 keys connect to has broken off here's a
19:15 fun one price tags still on this
19:19 unopened VHS from Target right there
19:25 $17.99 still sealed in all its glory
19:31 unopened this document certifies that
19:36 this one in five scale replica of the
19:39 hoverboard was created by quantum
19:41 mechanics right there and a little bit
19:46 of a Sun glare but these magazines from
19:50 overseas as well as cassette tape anyone
19:59 soundtrack
20:07 yes power love is on there there are
20:07 some really good photos in here and a
20:14 little segue April 19th 2008 was the
20:18 first real event I ever went to and I
20:23 got to meet Claudia Wells chef Weitzman
20:25 Bob Gale and Christopher Lloyd the first
20:30 time I ever got my poster that I still
20:33 own signed that's when it all began and
20:37 got to see it on the big screen with a
20:41 bunch of other folks who enjoy it when I
20:43 say began I mean began getting that
20:45 poster so in 1985 is when my enjoyment
20:48 of set article began and speaking of
20:54 posters I have this tiny one here in
20:55 this frame that presents all three all
20:59 adjoin the different you know the
21:01 different outfits and items from the
21:05 character itself with the little
21:08 electricity bolts all around Marty there
21:11 and then inside here you'll see this one
21:16 too terribly often but I kind of just
21:18 have it hiding here from part two
21:29 next to these chairs and storage and
21:29 here's the full-size rendition that has
21:33 all the signatures okay about eighteen
21:34 or nineteen might even be 20 somewhere
21:38 in that rough estimate have all the main
21:39 cast is that includes Tom Wilson
21:44 Christopher Lloyd Michael J Fox Lea
21:47 Thompson Claudia Wells they even have
21:53 some that you might not expect on there
21:56 like Billy Zane it was in it for a brief
22:01 moment or two Huey Lewis who provided
22:05 some of the songs for the soundtrack Bob
22:08 Gale and even drew Suzanne who did the
22:15 artwork on this is timely classic poster
22:20 you know during the course of this I've
22:22 been thinking how many of these really
22:24 are still in existence is this the only
22:28 one even though there is an assortment
22:32 of fruit in this blend
22:35 can I go with the pineapple today kind
22:39 of route through here and get the
22:42 pineapple for a tasty treat and this is
22:46 what we're dealing with I think my
22:49 refrigerator is getting louder
22:52 moment-by-moment stand strong
22:56 refrigerator saved you a seat and
22:59 there's plenty for everyone if you
23:01 promises to take small nibbles and bites
23:15 unlike what I just displayed something
23:15 about pineapple you just want to consume
23:17 it and just makes you feel good kind of
23:21 like 80s movies I am an 80s kid I was
23:24 born in 74 1985 I would have been 11
23:28 years old the pinnacle of me embracing
23:32 everything that's kind of the age where
23:35 you are nurtured on what you're going to
23:42 become and what you're going to enjoy it
23:44 sound it sets the groundwork for your
23:49 interests later in life that time frame
23:52 you're old enough to remember things and
23:54 to start developing nostalgia and while
23:58 I love 80s movies this one obviously
24:01 holds a special place whoa
24:08 I'd even shoe that one that much you
24:10 just took it down back in that time
24:13 frame
24:14 you would go to the video store my mom
24:17 my dad my younger sister and myself on
24:20 the weekends he was young Friday
24:22 afternoon we get out of school and
24:24 parents would get off work we would go
24:28 to the local VHS video store and rent
24:30 movies we've met maybe three or four or
24:33 five and you would rent the huge
24:35 gargantuan massive VHS contraption
24:39 cassette tape holder don't even get me
24:42 started on the rewinder that was a
24:44 separate thing to put it into rewind
24:45 please be kind
24:47 we always rent late
24:51 five or six movies for the weekend we
24:53 watched two on Friday two on Saturday
24:55 two on Sunday night and then returned
24:57 the Monday morning repeat the next
25:00 weekend and back to the future once a
25:05 month was always something that we would
25:07 rent before you could buy it before we
25:10 had the money to purchase our own copy
25:13 we would rent it from the video store
25:15 and you would take the the video
25:18 cassette recorder or VCR for short you
25:21 plug it in the back of the TV they would
25:23 give you instructions on how to plug it
25:24 into the back of a TV because we did not
25:27 own one can't be very wealthy to own a
25:29 VCR back then you read them when we go
25:37 through the arsenal of cassette tapes at
25:42 the video store we'd always rent maybe
25:44 four or five ones that we had not seen
25:47 and like I said every two or three weeks
25:50 are monthly we would get that copy a B
25:53 TTFN part one misses prior to part two
25:57 and part three coming out at 89 and 90
25:59 and we would watch it continuously
26:02 we would have our TV trays and we would
26:06 eat dinner while we watched the movie
26:09 and I came from a conservative Christian
26:13 home
26:14 nobody cursed went to church I went to a
26:17 Christian school and it was frowned upon
26:20 dramatically to hear profanity even in
26:24 what we rented and what we watched was
26:26 very carefully critiqued by my parents
26:29 but there was a little exception made
26:32 for this movie because it was just so
26:35 near and dear to what we enjoyed as a
26:38 family and what I liked that they kind
26:41 of let certain words slide for me as an
26:45 11 or 12 year old they just kind of look
26:47 past that because the movie is that good
26:59 and I've held on to it all these years I
26:59 can't really go into great detail and
27:02 explain this chunk here
27:15 the part one is definitely my favorite
27:15 there are some continuity errors there's
27:18 a few things here and there that are not
27:20 perfection but I use perfection that
27:22 word because it really is close to a
27:26 perfect movie in my opinion part two and
27:30 three I love in their own separate ways
27:33 but if I were to gear you to one
27:36 particularly we've never seen them if
27:38 there is one that you need to watch as
27:40 far as the perfect cast the perfect
27:44 array of everything whether it be acting
27:46 plotline special-effects drama all that
27:52 entwined in their comedy the trilogy is
27:58 great the part one if you have not seen
28:03 it you've been living under a rock and
28:10 go watch it
28:17 that's gonna do it for today if you're
28:17 new here give it a big thumbs up
28:31 it lets me know you can I'll see you in
28:33 the next video the blog
