0:02 Welcome everyone. Adam the Woo here as
0:02 the recording of the Sunday, July 6th,
0:06 2025. I'm just walking from my hotel
0:09 which is located right over there and I
0:11 am on my way to the second theme park
0:14 here at the Disneyland Paris Resort.
0:18 Walt Disney Studios Park is the name of
0:21 it. I'm wearing an appropriate Universal
0:24 Well, maybe not appropriate. I'm wearing
0:26 another studio shirt. Universal Studios
0:28 Hollywood, which I love. I also enjoy
0:31 MGM Studios, now called Hollywood
0:34 Studios in Florida. I'm a long way from
0:37 both those places. Let's see what Paris
0:41 has to offer in the form of Walt Disney
0:44 Studios. Join me,
0:48 shall you? A little blustery day, a
0:50 cooler day than it was yesterday.
0:53 Weather conditions rainy. It's been
0:55 drizzling andor downpouring all morning.
0:59 It has subsided a little bit at 12:30.
1:01 So, I'm heading out of my hotel and
1:03 going to make my way over to Starbucks.
1:05 Evidently, there's only one Starbucks.
1:07 There aren't any in the parks.
1:09 Yesterday, when I was in the Disneyland
1:11 Paris proper on Main Street, there is no
1:13 Starbucks on Main Street. The only one
1:15 is located at Disney Village on the way
1:18 into the parks. So, going to grab a
1:19 piping hot caffeinated beverage. Now, if
1:21 it ends up raining, I might have to buy
1:23 an umbrella or a poncho, the clear
1:26 ponchos that have the Disneyland Paris
1:28 on the back of them. And if it cools
1:30 down even more, if they have a nice
1:32 hoodie for Walt Disney Studios Park, oh
1:35 yes, I will buy that. I want to buy some
1:37 merchandise. Now, I've heard mixed
1:39 reviews on how this park is, and I'm
1:42 kind of going into it without any
1:45 spoilers. Spoiler-free. I haven't
1:46 watched anything. I really haven't seen
1:48 anything.
1:50 No grand walkthroughs or ride throughs
1:53 of different things here at the park,
1:56 but I am happy looking at it from the
1:58 outside of it because they have their
2:00 own earful tower, which reminds me of
2:02 the 1989 MGM Studios, early9s MGM
2:07 Studios in Florida. My favorite theme
2:09 park of all time. I know this is going
2:11 to pale in comparison to be nothing like
2:12 that, but there are some nuances here
2:14 from that Eisner era that I am going to
2:17 enjoy. So, if they have merchandise, oh
2:19 yes, I will be purchasing it. Get
2:22 caffeinated and head in Walt Disney
2:25 Studios. All right, I am now stepping
2:27 inside the world premiere building. Look
2:30 at this. This is really freaking cool. I
2:33 did not know this was even like this
2:34 inside here. Oh, I am liking this. This
2:37 looks just like the kind of like the
2:38 Burbank Studios over here. They even
2:40 have those same kind of like windows
2:42 that roll down that the animators would
2:45 be able to adjust. When I did the tour,
2:46 the Disney Studios in Verbank, they
2:48 explained how those windows, you can
2:50 kind of adjust them down to go with the
2:52 lighting that was outside. They've
2:53 recreated that in here. So, I am loving
2:56 this Hollywood theming through here.
2:59 This the Hollywood jewel box right here.
3:01 I think that's a gift shop right there.
3:03 But the facades look like real buildings
3:05 from Hollywood. This giving serious
3:07 great movie ride vibes. RIP Disney MGM/
3:11 Now Hollywood Studios. Great movie ride
3:14 vibes in here. This is the Mickey's of
3:15 Hollywood store inside this building.
3:18 Look, they have a little hooded hoodie
3:19 right there. They got a few other ones.
3:21 They had this in the first building when
3:22 you're walking over there. If they had
3:24 this in a t-shirt, I would probably buy
3:25 it. Or if they had it in a zip-up style
3:28 hoodie, but I don't really like the
3:29 non-zip hoodie. And this whole place
3:31 just screams Eisner, and I love it. Like
3:33 this behind the counter world premiere.
3:35 You got Daisy and Donald walking right
3:38 there. Pretty nice store. Definitely
3:39 has, you know, Hollywood Studios has a
3:41 lot of stores like this as well, so
3:43 nothing different. But I definitely like
3:44 it. It's called the Mickey's of
3:46 Hollywood Boutique. Do love that they
3:48 have the Earful Tower represented here.
3:50 They got rid of it in Florida. And they
3:52 have the Walk of Fame here. You got
3:55 Mickey, the first one, then Minnie,
3:57 Mufasa, Woody, all Disney characters. A
3:59 very nice touch. Is the Hollywood and
4:01 Vine Five and Dime in front of me right
4:03 there. And it says Hollywood Pictures
4:05 Museum, but there's no museum in here.
4:06 And if again, that is serious
4:10 GMR vibes. Great movie ride vibes to the
4:12 fullest extent. And you're just walking
4:14 right down the road here. You're walking
4:15 right down the middle of the road
4:17 heading towards the Disney Theater world
4:19 premiere which I think takes me back
4:21 outside of Vista Gifts right there.
4:23 Piano lesson sign up in the very very
4:25 top. I really love this building. We'll
4:29 come back in here a little bit later,
4:31 but I'm going to head into the park now.
4:32 To be completely honest, just giving my
4:34 first impression as I walk in here. I
4:36 really like this park so far. I know
4:39 it's going to be a mishmash and kind of
4:40 a mess kind of how Hollywood Studios is
4:43 modernday, but I'm going to be kind of
4:45 feeding off of the energy of the
4:47 original studios in Burbank and then
4:49 also MGM Studios and Eizer Created in
4:51 '89, early '90s. That was my all-time
4:53 favorite theme park. So, I'm going to be
4:55 kind of basing a lot of that on how my
4:57 enjoyment of the parks was back in those
4:59 days. Not really the modern-day park of
5:02 the studios. Look like they're doing a
5:03 lot of construction as well. But I like
5:05 that the partner statue is over here cuz
5:07 you got Walt and Mickey how they kind of
5:09 teamed up to create the Walt Disney
5:10 Productions and the studios in Burbank
5:12 and he's like overlooking the animation
5:14 building with the Sorcerers Cap. I like
5:16 that a lot. First vibes. Again, my my
5:20 thought process could change
5:21 dramatically throughout the course of
5:22 the day, but as I'm walking in, I really
5:25 do love I really do like how this this
5:27 place is set up. And the main thing I
5:29 want to go to first is going to be back
5:31 here past Ratatouille. We passed over in
5:33 this area. Tucked away in the back of
5:35 the park is one of the original original
5:38 attractions that has been rethemed, but
5:41 it still exists back there. It used to
5:42 be the old Catastrophe Canyon, which
5:44 they used to have at MGM Studios. I've
5:46 got to ride that first. That's got to be
5:47 my first one. That's my number one
5:49 priority here. As you can tell, I love
5:52 my memories of MGM Studios. And I love
5:55 Hollywood. I love LA. I love Hollywood.
5:58 I love old movies. I love the vibe of
6:00 Hollywood Boulevard and Hollywood and
6:02 all the studios. So, yeah, I love all
6:04 that stuff. Pretty wild to have
6:06 Ratatouille in Paris. In Paris.
6:10 I'm so used to it on the east coast. I'm
6:14 going go through this tunnel. Not doing
6:15 any fast passes or anything today. I'm
6:17 just doing the standard walk-on. It
6:19 shouldn't be too busy, but we'll see.
6:21 Right. There's like a almost like a
6:22 carnival style fair ride right here.
6:24 That's a That's a little weird for like
6:26 a Disney ride. I'm not too keen on that.
6:28 But yeah, it looks that that looks
6:30 interesting. That's really not like a
6:31 Hollywood vibe. So, this what I'm
6:32 saying. It's like a weird mishmash of of
6:34 attractions. Oh, is this really
6:36 happening? Am I getting on the back tram
6:39 tour? Well, it's not a backlot tram
6:41 tour, but it used to be out in Florida.
6:43 May have had a backlot tram here as
6:45 well, of sorts, but it's been revamped.
6:47 It's now cars themed, but it is the the
6:50 old school type of trams that take you
6:53 back to the former Catastrophe Canyon.
6:55 Just it's going to be the same. It's
6:57 just going to have a cars overlay on it.
6:59 And I can handle that. I can handle
7:00 that. Just put me on Catastrophe Canyon.
7:03 I have waited years to do this again.
7:07 I'm so excited. Oh, give me I'll take
7:10 this one right here. And look how tucked
7:12 away back in the corner up here. It's
7:13 like way almost like a Mickey ear. I
7:15 know how much I love this. Seeing these
7:17 Gold Wing style doors where they're
7:18 going to pull this down for the tram
7:21 right here. This is not ex I have not
7:23 seen this in a Disney park in so long
7:25 since they've completely got rid of, you
7:28 know, the old MGM Hollywood Studios
7:31 area. Look, you can tell this is the
7:32 point I'm going to be getting wet right
7:33 here. Look at that. That is water. The
7:35 water's going to pour in from right over
7:37 there. Oh, why do I love that so much?
7:39 Why do I love the closing of that so
7:41 much? Something you never see at Disney
7:42 anymore. This is called Cars Road Trip
7:45 is what it's called.
7:46 Please remain sitting on the door. Thank
7:48 you.
7:48 Remain seated.
7:50 Oh my gosh, it's happening. It's going
7:53 to Catastrophe Canyon. Well, a version
7:55 of it.
7:56 I do love cars. I love the movie Cars,
7:57 too. So, this is kind of a nice little
7:59 add-on, too. It's going to have an
8:00 overlay. I can handle cars. I can for
8:02 sure handle cars. There is a driver on
8:04 this. This is not like an automatic
8:06 vehicle that's like on a a railing.
8:08 There is a tram driver going into the
8:11 ghost garage up here. You can spend the
8:14 night in the ghost garage
8:16 right there. Copper Canyon traffic.
8:19 Okay. Cars catastrophe canyon they call
8:22 it now. Oh, I can handle that. I can
8:24 handle that. I can handle that as again
8:26 as long as it exists in some fashion. I
8:29 can handle it. Catastrophe canyon. Not
8:32 catastrophe.
8:34 We're going in.
8:36 Oh, what is happening? What year is
8:38 this? What freaking year is this?
8:41 It's catastrophic freaking Canyon. It's
8:44 freaking catastrophe. Why am I I am a
8:46 nerd. Oh my gosh. It's the same. They
8:50 just got the Dinoco over the top of it.
8:52 It's the same. It's exactly the freaking
8:55 same. Oh, I have to go. Oh, this is so
8:57 good.
9:00 Cannot believe it.
9:04 Yes. Yes. Yes. Give it to me. Give it to
9:07 me. Make my early 90s heart happy.
9:10 Make it happy.
9:13 This is the same exact feeling. I'm
9:16 going to shed a tear.
9:22 Yes.
9:22 Come on.
9:26 Oh, that feels good on this cool day.
9:30 Oh, yes.
9:32 There it is. It's tie. Let's go.
9:44 Yes. Just like the old days. Bring it
9:44 on. Come on. Give me that water. Bring
9:46 it to me. Give it to me.
9:53 Out of everyone on this, I can guarantee
9:53 I'm enjoying this more than anybody else
9:56 on this thing.
9:58 Dang. I feel like I'm going to leave out
10:00 of here and go see the Empty Nest Golden
10:02 Girls and Earnest Sage Christmas House.
10:05 But I'm not. I'm not. But at least this
10:08 is something.
10:16 Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
10:20 That
10:22 was awesome.
10:31 Yes. It's the little things, folks. It's
10:31 the little thing. Oh, am I going to see
10:33 the back facade? Yes. Yes. Show me the
10:36 back. Show me the back. This is so You
10:38 used to do it at studios. They show you
10:39 the back facade as well.
10:41 They've draped it over with some kind of
10:43 netting. Green netting.
10:45 Okay, I'm Okay, I got to calm down. I
10:47 got to calm down now because I'm I'm
10:49 making I'm making a fool of myself.
10:51 That made my
10:59 Thank you for joining us for your My
10:59 heart is happy right now.
11:02 Oh,
11:02 I love these doors.
11:04 I love it. Had a cast member sitting
11:06 here as if she was giving the tour. She
11:08 only gave a couple lines, but she was
11:10 sitting in that same kind of a seat.
11:12 Yes. And they just rethemed it. And
11:15 really, there was no point in having it
11:17 really makes no sense to have the canyon
11:20 during all that. The tram driver right
11:22 there. They had someone sitting in the
11:25 same seat as if they were giving a
11:26 backlot tram tour talking about
11:28 Catastrophe Can. They never had a back
11:29 lot here like they did at MGM Studios,
11:32 but the same type of attraction,
11:35 Catastrophe Canyon.
11:37 Cut and paste. Same same one from MGM
11:40 Studios in Florida. Thank you for
11:42 indulging my nerdery. I was that that
11:46 was that was something. That was
11:47 something,
11:49 man. Okay,
11:52 can bring myself back to back to earth.
11:54 Back to earth now. It's not the '9s
11:56 anymore. All right, I got to check the
11:58 wait times. I don't know if it's worth
11:59 waiting an hour or so for Ratatouille.
12:02 I'm pretty sure it's an exact copy and
12:04 paste as the one in Florida.
12:07 We'll see. Well, we see what the weight
12:08 times are. If it's a short wait time,
12:10 I'll do it. But again, I don't have the
12:11 fast pass today. I'm just trying to
12:13 relive some nostalgic moments, but on a
12:16 completely different country and
12:18 experience the Hollywoodish stuff here.
12:20 Here's a game changer. They have a
12:21 single rider here. We don't have this in
12:23 Florida. They have a single rider for
12:24 Ratatouille. And I'm here by myself. So,
12:26 I'm doing it. If they had single rider
12:28 in Orlando, I would be riding this thing
12:30 till the cows came home or till the rat
12:32 came home or until Remy came home.
12:35 That's nice. Single rider. If there is
12:39 single rider in Florida, I sure don't
12:41 remember that being a thing, but that's
12:42 that's nice. That's interesting. There's
12:44 no 3D glasses on this one. It's been a
12:46 while I've been on the one in Orlando,
12:47 but I think that one's still 3D. There's
12:49 no 3D glasses on this one. I couldn't
12:50 really tell a massive major difference
12:52 between the one here versus the one in
12:54 Orlando. I think it's pretty much a
12:56 carbon copy with the exception of the
12:58 3D. And I think maybe the screens look a
13:00 little bit better with the 3D. Again,
13:02 it's been a while since I've been on the
13:03 one. I'm not an expert on the
13:04 Ratatouille ride in at Epcot just simply
13:07 because the line is always so incredibly
13:09 lengthy that I don't really I think I've
13:10 only been on it maybe four four times in
13:13 my entire life just because the the wait
13:15 time for standby is usually like an
13:17 hour, hour and a half, sometimes even
13:18 more than that. But I really enjoyed
13:20 this one. It's kind of the same. He's
13:22 got the practical effects, got the
13:23 practical sets, I should say, as well
13:25 well as the digital and all that digital
13:27 screens and everything. And I really do
13:29 like the trackless rides. The trackless
13:31 ride system is really a kind of a cool
13:33 thing. And the whole the whole area,
13:35 even, you know, the whole Paris area is
13:37 uh pretty accurate to how the streets of
13:40 Paris are with the cobblestone, the
13:41 brick streets, and all that. So, I'm
13:43 going to head off now and go into some
13:44 other areas, other areas of the park and
13:47 uh see what else I can find here at the
13:49 the studios at the Walt Disney Walt
13:51 Disney Studios. Oh, they evidently have
13:53 their own little version of Radiator
13:56 Springs through here as well. I don't
13:58 think they have Radiator Springs Racers,
14:00 but they have the old Route 66 Radiator
14:02 Springs area. You got Luigi's Tires
14:04 here. You got Tow Mater towing and
14:07 salvage. This is nice. Got the little
14:09 phone booth over here. You got the
14:11 welcome travelers radiator springs
14:13 chamber of commerce. This says eat and
14:16 there's just a a brick wall there that
14:18 you can't go through. That's kind of
14:20 kind of cool. Oh, there's even a VA
14:21 there's even a Flo's VA cafe over there.
14:24 That's nice. Oh, and this must be this
14:27 must be the Crush's coaster that
14:29 everyone
14:30 everyone recommends to go on the Crushes
14:32 coaster. So, check that out. See how the
14:35 wait time is for that. Maybe they have a
14:36 single rider for that. That'd be
14:38 amazing. But they don't have a Floss
14:40 Cafe. Hey, there's just a sign that says
14:42 Flo's Cafe and then you got, you know, a
14:44 little miniature version of Maiders to
14:46 spin around over here. This is a lot
14:48 different than the one that's a DCA and
14:50 it goes a lot faster. Look at that thing
14:52 right there. It's like teacups. It's
14:54 like the teacups version. That's a lot
14:55 different than the one at DCA. That's uh
14:58 that's that'll make you a little more
15:00 nauseous. Doesn't whip you around as
15:01 fast, but it whips you around more uh
15:04 more often.
15:06 This is where the theming kind of really
15:07 kind of really uh the sight lines and
15:09 everything don't really aren't the best
15:10 here. You got Route 66, you got the
15:13 Mater attraction and all that and you
15:14 got Radiator Springs and then
15:16 immediately over here you have Crush's
15:18 Coaster. You go into the sea. Oh wow.
15:20 You can actually see the ride track as
15:22 it goes through there. Crushes Coaster
15:31 is a single rider, but it says 45
15:31 minutes for a single rider. That's not
15:32 good. 65 minutes for the regular
15:34 standby. And this is evidently the way
15:37 the ride vehicle operates.
15:40 I'll check back a little bit later. Now,
15:43 when Guardians of the Galaxy opened at
15:45 Epcot, there were quite a few people
15:47 that said, "Oh, that's just basically
15:48 the same ride system as Crush's
15:51 coaster." And after seeing it going by
15:54 over here, I don't know if they're
15:56 comparable. maybe comparable how they
15:59 spin, but I don't know if this is as
16:02 fluid. I can't speak till I go on it,
16:06 but we'll see how see how the lines go a
16:09 little bit later. Maybe a little bit
16:10 later. Ah, yes. The flying carpet
16:12 carpets of Agriba, which is like a copy
16:16 and paste pretty much the same thing we
16:17 have at Magic Kingdom in Florida. But we
16:20 don't have this, which is like a little
16:21 overlook. You can walk up these stairs
16:23 and go get a bird's eyee perspective or
16:25 a on the same level perspective of the
16:28 flying carpets of Agra. It's kind of
16:29 neat. It's almost like the Aladdin
16:31 version of Dumbo, if you will, as they
16:33 kind of spin around, but you can stand
16:34 up here on this little railing, which is
16:36 kind of neat. So, this this isn't M.
16:38 This is at MK in Florida. Same exact
16:40 same exact kind of thing. Now, there's
16:42 the standby down there for Crush's
16:44 Coaster.
16:46 Little viewing area over there. Starting
16:48 the wind starting to pick up. There may
16:50 be a rainstorm coming in. Woo! It's a
16:53 little windy. Little windy up here on
16:56 this little railing. Maybe because I'm
16:58 elevating because I'm really hot. Oh,
16:59 look over there is Buzz Lightyear.
17:01 Passed by him and I was So, you go right
17:03 out of the toy Toy Story Buzz Lightyear
17:06 area and then you walk right into
17:07 Radiator Springs and then you got
17:08 Crush's Coaster right here. All visible
17:10 from each other. And I'm not saying this
17:11 place doesn't have its problems, but
17:12 it's got some good points. And over to
17:14 the Hollywood Tower. It looks like it's
17:16 still themed around Twilight Zone. I'm
17:18 here for it. I'm here for it. And they
17:19 still have smoking areas here. Smoking
17:21 you kind of have to get used to when
17:23 coming here is there's going to be
17:24 people smoking everywhere. Not just in
17:26 the smoking areas, but there are people
17:27 smoking all over the place. Un themed
17:29 external queue I've ever seen. Just have
17:31 these little little partitions up
17:34 right over there. Oh, what's this guy
17:35 doing? 25.
17:38 Of course.
17:39 Okay. 25 minutes. Thank you.
17:43 You're welcome.
17:44 Thank you so much.
17:46 You're welcome so much.
17:47 Okay. Thank you.
17:49 25minute wait time for the Hollywood
17:51 Tower standby. Not front of the line, no
17:54 single rider. Just 25 minutes. Yes, I'm
17:56 here for it. Even though it's kind of
17:57 obscured from here, 25 minutes is
17:59 amazing. That's an amazing wait time.
18:01 That's so short. That's such a short
18:03 That's an insanely short wait time. You
18:05 would never see it this short of a wait
18:08 time at Hollywood Studios in Florida,
18:10 ever. Yes. Into the Hollywood Tower
18:12 lobby. Check-in desk over there. This
18:14 owl full of cobwebs up here. Here you
18:17 got the HTH Hollywood Tower banner right
18:20 up there dangling from the from the
18:22 area. The queue kind of zigzags a little
18:25 differently here than it does at the
18:26 other parks where you kind of come in
18:28 this way, then you zigzag and you go in
18:30 this way. A little bit little bit
18:32 different, but you know, eerily and
18:35 creepily the same here at the Hollywood
18:38 Power Hotel.
18:49 Thank you.
18:49 I love this attraction so much. Love it.
18:54 Probably this this is probably exactly
18:55 the same. Fill in all the available
18:58 space. You see there's cobwebs
19:00 everywhere. Not just cobwebs inside, but
19:02 they're also outside. France, for some
19:04 reason, has a big cobweb problem. I
19:07 haven't really seen any spiders, but you
19:08 see a lot of cobwebs. I was noticing
19:10 those in Paris. I'm noticing them all
19:12 around here as well. So, this thising is
19:15 pretty normal for even like outside.
19:16 You'll see cobwebs everywhere for
19:18 whatever reason.
19:21 Ooh, look at the number 22 door right
19:23 there.
19:25 I don't know what that's what that's
19:26 represents.
19:32 Going in the library. Making my way into
19:35 the library
19:38 here.
19:46 very thundery in here.
19:46 Oh yeah, that's pretty pretty similar.
20:13 Please stay on the carpet and only on
20:13 the carpet. Thank you.
20:21 Weird English.
20:21 We have subtitles in French, but it was
20:25 the same same pre-show.
20:50 this is a little different. This is a
20:52 little bit different. When you come into
20:54 here, got the old time cards, service
20:56 elevator, arrow for the workers here at
21:00 the Hollywood Tower. Got the phone
21:02 there, time cards, time clock, not the
21:05 correct time. You got like a boiler
21:07 thing here or air conditioner boiler
21:09 unit. Not air conditioner, but a boiler
21:11 unit. Oh, this looks way smaller, too.
21:15 No, you go I'm going up the second
21:17 level. Never mind. I stand corrected.
21:27 Yeah, eerily the same, but also slightly
21:27 different.
21:30 Oh, wow.
21:32 Yeah, I'm going up. It's hot here.
22:03 Oh, look at the bird cage here.
22:03 There seems to be a lot more theming in
22:05 the queue here.
22:07 I like it. Lots of cobwebs.
22:16 Look at all this.
22:16 It's like Kingdom of the Spiders in
22:17 here. the old Shatner film
22:21 deep cut.
22:23 Look at these railings up here. Look at
22:24 the uh the cross crosswalks, I should
22:28 say, all across here.
22:32 Wonder No, I don't think that's for
22:33 guests. I guess it's part of the
22:34 theming.
22:37 This crazy boiler right here.
22:41 Massive boiler.
22:44 That's why they call it a boiler room.
22:45 You can see like a face. There's the two
22:47 eyes. There's the mouth. There's the
22:49 nose.
23:05 That was so good.
23:05 So good.
23:10 They were very very strict on filming.
23:10 They just kept reiterating it in a
23:12 couple different languages. No filming
23:14 was allowed. They said is restricted. It
23:16 is forbidden is the word that they used.
23:20 See if I get a photo over here. And also
23:22 this is something different than the
23:23 other parks. They put the lock screen on
23:25 it. See where you can't get a you can't
23:27 get a photo. Oh, that's me right there.
23:30 There's a
23:42 That was really good. That was so good.
23:42 Different than the Disney World one.
23:44 Different. They had like It was like a
23:46 different theming. They had like the a
23:47 little girl running around. It was like
23:48 a whole whole different theming. I kind
23:50 of wish I could have filmed it. I'm sure
23:51 you could probably find a a ride through
23:53 online. But yeah, I highly recommend
23:55 this version of the Hollywood Tower. It
23:57 was almost a little more intense than
23:59 the regular Twilight Zone Tower of
24:01 Terror. You know how Guardians over at
24:03 DCA has a lot more drops than like the
24:05 regular old school Twilight Zone
24:08 version? This one kind of was on par
24:09 with Guardians with the amount of times
24:12 you drop. I I didn't think it was ever
24:14 going to end. It just kept dropping over
24:15 and over and over and over. Yeah, I
24:17 loved it. I loved it. Photos up here
24:19 from the Tiptop Club. Man, my buddy
24:21 Justin has been on this a bunch of times
24:22 said, "They're not going to let you film
24:23 on it. Mark my words." And he was right.
24:25 They are very strict. Again, I'm sure
24:27 I'm sure you could probably get away
24:29 with it, but they just make it very very
24:30 well known that that uh they also told
24:32 me to remove my hats and glasses. So,
24:34 best remove them. They don't tell you
24:36 that at the other parks. Usually, they
24:37 just let you keep your hats on, but just
24:39 broke. I just heard something break.
24:41 Hollywood Tower lanyard. It has like a
24:43 room key right there. That's kind of
24:44 neat. Like a new school room key. This
24:47 is the only merchite I found that
24:48 actually has the the logo Disneyland
24:51 Paris on it. Can't really say I love
24:53 that shirt, but if the ears had it or
24:56 maybe even like a spirit jersey or
24:58 something had it, that'd be kind of
24:58 neat. But that's just a basic Hollywood
25:00 tower when it doesn't say Disneyland
25:02 Paris on it. This is pretty good though.
25:03 This art print here, which is
25:05 specifically for the Walt Disney park,
25:09 Walt Disney Studio Park right there.
25:13 Yeah, I like that they still have the uh
25:15 the movie or the TV version. It's also
25:18 interesting that they didn't they didn't
25:20 have it in French. They have the Oh,
25:22 look at this hidden Mickey
25:25 right there.
25:29 All right. They don't have They don't
25:29 have any merchandise that actually
25:32 Nothing Nothing's jumping out at me. But
25:33 yeah, however, have this clock right
25:36 here, which is specifically for Paris.
25:39 That's kind of neat. A Hollywood Hotel
25:41 Tower clock show starting for Mickey the
25:45 Magician here at the Anna Magic Theater.
25:48 It's about to start running up. I think
25:50 it's starting in just a couple minutes
25:51 now. Actually,
25:53 take a look at this retro looking carpet
25:55 right here. Look at this retro carpet.
25:57 That was a solid halfhour show. It
26:00 really was a lot better than I expected.
26:01 I didn't really know what to expect, but
26:02 I'll say that was actually really really
26:04 good. Had quite a few different
26:06 intervals. It was like kind of a I don't
26:08 I don't know how to really describe it
26:10 though, but there was a lot of actors, a
26:11 lot of songs, a lot of music, a lot of
26:13 dancing, a lot of things like that. I uh
26:15 I was not expecting it to be as good as
26:17 it was, but honestly, I really really
26:19 enjoyed it and the entire crowd was
26:21 really into it. I mean, everyone was
26:23 just like clapping along, singing along.
26:26 No one was really dancing, but everyone
26:27 was definitely definitely into the vibe.
26:29 And then when it ended, everyone just
26:30 kind of was like giving a roaring cheer
26:33 when it when it ended. I would uh I
26:35 would definitely see that one again. And
26:37 I put that in the I was pleasantly
26:39 surprised category to see that show.
26:41 I've now got in the line to head over to
26:44 Crush's Coaster. 35minute wait for
26:47 Crush's Coaster. And I'm in the line now
26:49 for Crush's Coaster. 35 minute for
26:51 Single Rider, I should say. 75 minutes
26:54 for the regular regular standby, but 35
26:56 for Single Rider. I don't think it's
26:57 probably going to get any better than
26:58 this. So, jumped in the Single Rider
27:00 line and now I'm inside. It's been
27:02 raining outside as well. So, it's
27:04 probably good to be get out of the rank
27:06 cuz once I walked out of the theater
27:07 after seeing Mickey the Magician, it was
27:09 started pouring. So, I feel more
27:11 comfortable and and uh warm and dry
27:14 inside here. So, inside here, inside the
27:16 Crush's coaster uh room and the theming
27:19 here, this is the I think this may be
27:22 the This is a single rider here. And
27:24 then the regular stand is out there.
27:32 The single rider line is going by pretty
27:32 quick to be honest. There's only like
27:33 maybe eight people in front of me. I've
27:35 only been in line for 10 minutes.
27:39 All right, I did it. I mean, I guess
27:42 there's kind of similarities to
27:44 Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot, but
27:46 Guardians makes this thing look like
27:47 amateur hour. And it's it Guardians is
27:50 100 times better. 100 100 times better.
27:53 This is still a lot of fun, but there's
27:54 no competing with Guardians. It's been
27:56 raining. This is this is closed. I was
27:58 going to go on this. It was like a five
27:59 or 10 minute wait, but this is down at
28:00 the moment. This is kind of like the
28:01 teacup one over there. I can definitely
28:03 see the similarities, but I don't know.
28:05 This is it's almost like an archaic
28:07 version of what Guardians was perfected
28:10 to be, if that makes sense. Also, if you
28:12 get motion sickness on Guardians of the
28:14 Galaxy at Epcot, you will get it 10
28:17 times worse on this thing. That thing
28:19 nonstop spins. Guardians kind of
28:20 slightly spins. That thing is next
28:23 level. It's like it's like the teacups
28:24 on a coaster. Right inside the sorcerers
28:27 hat is the animation academy in here,
28:30 which is kind of neat. And they have a
28:32 preview of some things that's going to
28:33 be arriving to this area in the future
28:36 called Adventure World. Wait, is this
28:38 coming here? Yeah, it is coming here
28:40 because there's a sorcerer hat that I'm
28:41 inside right now. There's the earful.
28:43 Well, I don't know if they call it the
28:44 earful tower, but there's the water
28:45 tower, which looks like the earful
28:47 tower. And this is the whole area that's
28:49 going to be back in the back. That means
28:50 I might have to come back one day.
28:52 That's pretty exciting. This is my first
28:54 visit, but I enjoyed so far what I've
28:56 done here. So maybe at some point I can
28:58 come back to Disneyland Paris and also
29:00 to Walt Disney Studio Park. It's an
29:04 interesting name, Walt Disney Studio
29:06 Park.
29:07 I mean, very similar to Hollywood
29:09 Studios, but also completely different
29:11 in a lot of ways. Definitely has a
29:12 different vibe than Hollywood Studios,
29:14 but they're little little similar little
29:16 little similarities. And I got a lot
29:18 accomplished with not even doing the
29:20 Fastpass front of the line premiere. I
29:23 pretty much did everything I wanted to
29:24 do. I don't really care much about
29:25 Avengers Campus. I mean, I don't know.
29:28 It's okay. I'm more of a DC kind of. I'm
29:29 more of a DC guy, superhero guy. And I
29:32 love they still have the elephants in
29:33 here. They got rid of them at DCA. They
29:35 also got rid of them on the corner of
29:36 Hollywood and Highland at that mall
29:37 there. This is the overlook here at the
29:39 Hollywood Gardens restaurant. Little
29:42 quick service place. But take a look at
29:44 this. You got the ABC out there, which
29:46 is in at the studios right next to
29:49 Burbank Studios. That's kind of neat.
29:51 Little homage to the Burbank Studios
29:53 there as well. They're making some sort
29:55 of an announcement. I'm kind of getting
29:56 a
30:02 Oh, there's a show that's happening.
30:03 They're cancelling because of the
30:05 weather. Pretty nasty out right now.
30:11 Love this building. Loving this
30:14 building. Love this. Love this. Look at
30:17 this. Right next to the studio building,
30:20 you got the tower right there, the water
30:22 tower at the studios. My gosh, that
30:23 really makes me miss Great Movie Ride
30:25 and incredibly amount of miss love and
30:29 missing the Great Movie Ride. Missed
30:30 that thing. Missed that ride at MGM. And
30:33 over here's the Hollywood sign. Look,
30:36 there's the Hollywood sign. Hollywood
30:37 Boulevard. Griffith Observatory right
30:40 over here. Oh, very nicely done. Nicely
30:43 done. spend an incredible amount of time
30:46 in here just re just relaxing inside
30:48 this building. Feels like it's outside.
30:50 Feels like it's night time for daytime.
30:52 It's indoor for it's indoors, but it
30:54 feels like outdoors. I just love the
30:57 experience and the vibe and the feels in
30:59 here. So, I can assure you if I lived
31:01 here and I was a passholder, this would
31:03 be a room and a building that I would be
31:06 in all the time. I'd probably come in
31:08 here to get coffee, come in here to get
31:09 snacks, come in here to get food. I
31:12 would be a resident, an annual
31:14 passholder resident of the Hollywood
31:16 Gardens restaurant and atrium. Just just
31:20 restaurant. And they even have some
31:22 trees in here. That's why they call it
31:23 the Hollywood Gardens. They have some
31:25 trees lining the whole area here. The
31:28 Hollywood architecture. This is just too
31:30 This is just right up my alley. My my
31:32 Hollywood alley. And I think I'm going
31:34 to go ahead and head out of here for the
31:36 day and head back to my hotel to relax.
31:39 It is a pretty cool sighteline view from
31:41 over here as you're exiting and walking
31:43 in. I like that perspective. And as I
31:45 walk back to my hotel, stopping off here
31:48 in Disney Village at the Disney Store,
31:50 which has that retro early9s vibe, and
31:53 there's a little ensemble up here of the
31:56 Disney park I was just in right there,
31:58 the studio park. Glad I went on the
32:00 balloon already because today the
32:01 balloon is definitely not operational at
32:04 the moment due to the weather, the
32:06 windiness, and the cloudiness and the
32:08 rain forecast. Very dreary day today.
32:11 Definitely way different than yesterday
32:14 was. Also, I went to Starbucks, got
32:18 myself another coffee, and I got myself
32:21 a mug, souvenir mug. I'll show you when
32:22 I get back to the room. There's no
32:23 denying that that park I just went to is
32:25 a mess. just a convoluted
32:30 mess of everything. Not saying it's a
32:34 it's a bad park, just saying it's a mess
32:36 of the theming that's going on. Very
32:38 similar to how Hollywood Studios out in
32:41 Florida, formerly MGM is great park, but
32:45 really not a studio anymore. Kind of
32:47 like Walt Disney Studio Park. They're
32:50 not really filming anything there. It's
32:52 not like a studio or anything like that,
32:54 but I really enjoy the nostalgia of it.
32:57 Definitely had the strong Eisner Wells
33:00 feel to it as well. And I just loved I
33:03 love the everything I did today. I had a
33:05 such a great time.
33:07 Such a great time. Here a couple more
33:09 days. So, we'll be doing other things I
33:11 have not done in the last two days.
33:13 Yesterday, I went to the Disneyland
33:15 Park, well, the Disneyland Paris Park.
33:18 And today, I went to Walt Disney Studio
33:20 Park. And while they were pretty
33:21 lackluster and really was not a whole
33:24 lot of the studio merch, I would have
33:26 bought a lot more. Well, I would have
33:28 bought something. Whether it be a
33:30 t-shirt, they didn't have any t-shirts.
33:31 They didn't have any pin Disney pins
33:34 that had the studios on it. They said
33:35 they were sold out of those. And so when
33:37 they do get them in, they go really
33:39 quickly.
33:41 But that part it was kind of a bummer
33:42 they didn't have more merchandise geared
33:44 to the studios than the Disneyland Paris
33:48 proper park across the way. And park
33:50 hopping is like you know 2 minutes. I
33:53 mean it's just like it's like walking
33:54 across the espanot almost distance-wise
33:56 out in Anaheim. Park hopping at Disney
33:58 World is a little little different.
34:00 However, I did get a mug. I got a
34:03 Starbucks mug to add to my collection.
34:07 Has the earful tower. Assuming they
34:09 still they call it that still. And you
34:12 got the sorcerers cap there. Let me flip
34:15 this around. Try not to drop it and
34:16 break it. Park Walt Disney Studios. This
34:20 is a kind of a rare one for me. I'm
34:22 going to take it home, pack it up
34:24 nicely. It comes in a box that Starbucks
34:26 provides when you purchase it. And I
34:29 didn't do this. This is like the
34:31 dropping umbrella thing.
34:34 Kind of like the jellyfish uh attraction
34:36 over at DCI.
34:38 That must be Ratatouille maybe. Yeah,
34:41 that's probably the Ratatouille area.
34:43 And then you got the archway leading in.
34:46 But Hollywood Tower, that's the key. The
34:49 good one. And then the Earful Tower. I
34:52 love I love that. I love that. And from
34:55 my room, you got to look closely, but
34:57 you can see the grounded balloon over
34:59 there because of the weather. But if you
35:00 look really closely,
35:02 you can see
35:05 what I consider to be the Earful Tower.
35:07 It's like right there in the middle of
35:08 the stream peeking up over the tree
35:10 line. That's going to do it for today.
35:12 Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the
35:13 next video. The vlog
35:18 is over.
