0:18 this is going to be my last official

0:21 day renting an

0:24 apartment right downtown

0:27 celebration going to finish cleaning it

0:29 up today got everything moved out as of

0:32 yesterday now I got to clean up just a

0:34 little

0:36 bit turn in the

0:39 keys no longer renting my one-bedroom

0:42 small apartment right off of Market

0:44 Street welcome everyone Adam the woo

0:47 here not only am I excited to be handing

0:50 in the keys today and excited about the

0:52 future moving on to bigger and better

0:54 things if you will there's a little bit

0:56 of a sadness when you leave a place that

0:58 you've been in for 3 years 3 years I put

1:01 a little Aster next to there because two

1:03 years I was in there without being by

1:05 Coastal one year the first year so I

1:07 moved in in the middle of December 3

1:09 years ago that first year I had a place

1:11 out in Anaheim had some roommates they

1:13 moved into my spot and

1:15 then the whole story that ended and

1:19 after being a year out there and a year

1:21 out here going Coast to Coast just

1:23 settled on here for a year so in a lot

1:25 of ways this is the end of that scenario

1:28 when I hand in my key to this place and

1:31 moving along to the next spot I'm

1:34 inviting you to join me as always shall

1:37 you I'm also kind of ready to have this

1:39 move be done over and done with talking

1:41 about the B Coastal thing because when I

1:44 did move I had a little time to get my

1:46 stuff

1:46 out in fact when I moved from Hollywood

1:49 down to Anaheim talking about even

1:51 stepping back a little bit further I had

1:53 like a month to move this time I had

1:55 over a month I had like five weeks to

1:57 move so it really was not too stressful

2:00 as far as getting it done but just kind

2:02 of you know weight off your shoulders

2:04 when you finally know one place has been

2:06 removed and you could focus 100%

2:08 attention on the new spot so I'm

2:12 definitely looking forward to that as

2:13 well a little dreary and overcast here

2:15 in town today going by going by

2:18 avocado's Mexican Grill and up to

2:19 Starbucks where I mobile order to coffee

2:21 love mobile order oh there's a bird

2:23 right

2:24 there don't be startled bird don't fly

2:28 away you know you want to say you not

2:29 want to say hi yes my time in downtown

2:32 living in downtown celebration coming to

2:35 an end today had a good time being right

2:37 down here for those 3 years and I'm

2:39 still going to

2:41 be very very close to this but I'm not

2:43 going to be able to just walk out my

2:45 door and pop over to the Starbucks

2:47 without a little bit of a commute but

2:48 I'm staying in Central Florida staying

2:50 in

2:51 celebration more on that a lot more on

2:55 that very very soon but I kind of want

2:58 to talk a little bit about how and why I

3:00 ended up moving back to Florida even

3:03 though I didn't really think I ever

3:05 would end up back in Florida here I am

3:08 life is weird sometimes and life is all

3:10 about oh there's a dog down there

3:13 drinking from the the water yeah just

3:17 simple choices on what you do who you

3:20 know things you do tasks you take upon

3:23 jobs you have the way you live your life

3:26 and decisions you made just the simplest

3:28 little thing can alter the course and

3:31 the trajectory of life itself and the

3:35 way your mind works I'm I'm maybe

3:38 getting a little too deep and I'm not

3:39 I'm definitely not like trying to get

3:41 philosophical on but it's just very

3:42 interesting how all that just the

3:45 littlest things can somehow

3:49 alter what happens I mean just the

3:52 simplest thing

3:55 thing and obviously the events of 2020

3:58 had a big hand and me moving back here

4:02 in fact I had a PL well I was living in

4:04 originally I was living in Orange

4:05 California 2015 and 16 then I moved away

4:09 from there did the RV thing for a year

4:10 then I moved to Hollywood for 2 years

4:12 and I was like you know what I don't

4:13 want to be in Hollywood I be closer to

4:14 Disneyland in Orange County so I moved

4:16 down to Anaheim for about another 2

4:18 years give or take I don't know I'm

4:20 trying to the math is you know give or

4:22 take a few months but I was there for a

4:24 couple of years and when everything in

4:27 California started to really not be open

4:30 I was like I'm not going to deal with

4:31 this I want to go to places that are

4:32 open it kind of stretched on a little

4:34 too long for my liking so I ended up I'm

4:37 going to get a place here in Florida

4:38 also there are a lot of apartments and

4:40 condos around here I mean hundreds if

4:43 not thousands of them throughout the

4:46 entire town of Celebration so not just

4:48 downtown and the whole footprint of

4:50 Celebration is just massive again more

4:53 on that over time but I kind of wanted

4:55 to talk a little bit about the reasons

4:58 why I moved here versus not being a

5:03 Californian and I feel like if I the

5:07 situation would have been a little

5:08 different just a little bit different

5:11 like if I would have kept my place in

5:12 Anaheim not had a

5:15 roommate not done the B Coastal thinking

5:18 oh I'm going to have originally I was

5:19 going to have the place out here for

5:21 maybe like a year things were going to

5:23 go back to quote unquote normal whatever

5:24 that means and then I would give the

5:26 place up here after a year maybe two

5:28 years of the lease go back to

5:31 SoCal and that didn't that didn't really

5:33 work out that way and in fact because of

5:35 the reason of the shutdowns out in SoCal

5:38 all California and there really wasn't a

5:40 whole heck of a lot to do I I still

5:42 remember vividly the time after a few

5:44 months of things happening went to

5:47 downtown Disney out there and all of a

5:50 sudden they said you cannot buy a bottle

5:52 of water and take a sip of a bottle

5:54 water without leaving the property going

5:58 back to your car if you you want to buy

5:59 I think some popcorn the parks weren't

6:01 even open this is this is Downtown

6:03 Disney you want to buy some popcorn you

6:05 got to go back to your car at the

6:07 parking lot before entering back through

6:09 the checkpoints for Downtown Disney now

6:12 granted this was months after everything

6:14 kind of started to culminate I thought

6:16 you know what I'm going to go to

6:19 Florida where the parks are open that

6:21 was mid December

6:24 2020 so that was what nine months eight

6:28 months seven months

6:29 after everything was really in full

6:32 swing you know they kind of started

6:35 stepping back a bit I thought I don't

6:36 want to step back I want to move forward

6:39 so I still vividly remember flew out

6:41 here was coming out here for the

6:42 holidays to film Christmas stuff and

6:44 spend time with my parents for Christmas

6:46 that Year hope I'm getting the right

6:48 year I think it was I think it was

6:49 December 20 yeah it was cuz that was 3

6:51 years ago ended up looking an apartment

6:54 here looked at it said I want this one

6:57 immediately signed the lease

7:00 and did the Bic Coastal thing for a

7:02 year and I didn't realize how you know

7:05 things were going to kind of end up out

7:06 of

7:07 Anaheim and then when the partnership

7:11 relationship roommate situation did not

7:13 work

7:14 out and I had half empty place out there

7:18 I just said you know what heck it I got

7:20 the place out here let me just go to

7:22 Florida so I have a lot of those

7:23 thoughts and memories in my

7:31 head

7:31 and then after being here I obviously I

7:32 travel a lot but after being in this

7:36 town I really started to to have a

7:40 newfound appreciation and kind of

7:41 rekindle my love of Florida once again

7:44 which I did not have before CU When I

7:46 was out in California I was really I

7:47 love California I love Southern

7:50 California I mean I just I love la I

7:52 love Burbank love Pasadena I love that

7:55 love Anaheim I love Orange County and

7:57 I'll always be going out there it's

7:59 really easy for me to hop on a flight to

8:00 MCO out to LAX or to John Wayne or

8:03 anything like that I will always

8:05 continuously be out there multiple times

8:07 a year sometimes maybe even for long

8:10 periods of

8:12 time I don't know where I was going with

8:14 that but just basically just wanted to

8:16 say that I am

8:18 not against going out there cuz I I love

8:22 it out there but just something

8:25 about kind of rekindling my

8:27 roots of Florida

8:30 my parents moved here in 1991 of course

8:32 I obviously I moved with them I was 17

8:33 years old I moved to St Cloud my dad

8:36 started preaching at a church

8:38 there and I've kind of been in and out

8:40 of the area ever since obviously coming

8:42 back to visit or you know some of the

8:45 first places I ever lived when I first

8:47 started working getting a job becoming

8:48 an adult and living in places all around

8:51 St Cloud and CMI and

8:54 celebration I mean that's that's recent

8:56 years but you know what I'm saying again

8:59 though as I was stating about the what

9:00 ifs you know what if certain things did

9:02 not

9:03 happen you know in that in that certain

9:07 year things could be considerably

9:09 different if I did not already have the

9:11 place the B Coastal Place I would have

9:14 just stayed out there I most likely

9:16 would have already stayed out there

9:19 and I mean I don't know you you could

9:22 maybe I wouldn't have maybe if the

9:25 situation was different maybe if I would

9:27 have stayed in the place by myself

9:31 and not had the co-joined

9:33 apartment with others and then also got

9:36 the place out here because if I didn't

9:39 yeah if I did not already have someone

9:43 else helping out at my place there then

9:46 I probably would not have been inclined

9:48 to get the place here because that

9:50 wouldn't have made much sense but it did

9:52 make sense at the time I don't know what

9:53 I'm showing but it did make sense at the

9:56 time because I could be gone I would

9:58 have somebody watching over the place

9:59 which is which was a positive thing and

10:02 that's why I got the place here and then

10:04 when that kind of fell through I had the

10:06 place here anyway no more what ifs

10:10 granted everyone has their own decisions

10:13 everyone could do what they want and

10:14 obviously I'm not going to let anything

10:16 deter me from doing something I'm just

10:18 very impulsive I guess what I'm trying

10:20 to say is just the littlest slight

10:23 detour of something on decisions made by

10:26 yourself or even others

10:29 can really

10:30 alter what when you have an impulsive

10:33 mind like myself that can really alter

10:36 things because I am really

10:40 impulsive more on that to come and when

10:42 you combine impulsiveness with

10:44 circumstances and certain things that

10:46 you are in the middle

10:49 of decisions could be swayed and altered

10:51 differently than they would be I'm

10:53 making no sense I like making decisions

10:55 even though they're impulsive sometimes

10:57 good I like making good decisions but I

10:59 I also like making really bad decisions

11:01 because sometimes those bad decisions

11:03 formulate into good decisions later that

11:06 you would not be in a position to make

11:07 those good decisions if you had not made

11:09 the bad decision to begin with I'm going

11:13 deep this is it the last official day

11:15 living right

11:16 downtown Main Street USA I like to refer

11:19 to this as celebrations Main Street USA

11:21 obviously this town was built by Disney

11:22 no longer owned by the Disney

11:23 Corporation anymore but they built it as

11:26 the perfect small town the clock tower

11:28 not Clock Tower but the clock over there

11:30 that I always show is right over there

11:31 by the bank the post office right over

11:34 there this very unique building all

11:36 these buildings built different built by

11:38 different

11:40 Architects it's going to be nice not

11:42 parking in the cluster F if you know

11:44 what I mean of December and even

11:47 Halloween into December parking over

11:50 near where where my apartment was rest

11:53 of the year not 10 months out of the

11:54 year it's fine and I was up on the upper

11:57 level so I wasn't on the ground floor

11:59 which made it kind of difficult when I

12:00 wanted to pull the bicycle down I had to

12:02 go down flights of

12:05 stairs which that's fine I mean it's

12:06 good to get you get your steps in and

12:09 and all

12:14 that but I tell you the the moving

12:14 during this time has been a little

12:15 tedious with not being able to park near

12:17 the apartment to to move but it's all

12:19 done now it's all done such a beautiful

12:24 town I mean just amazing the fact that I

12:28 mean I think about this well I'm

12:31 thinking about this when I decided to

12:33 move back here I looked at a couple

12:35 apartment complexes near Walt Disney

12:37 World decided against those there was

12:39 one or two that actually went and looked

12:40 at and one in particular I ended up

12:45 talking to the leasing manager almost

12:46 chose decided against that then I

12:47 thought about what about downtown CMI

12:49 what about downtown Orlando what about

12:50 going back to downtown St Cloud and then

12:52 it hit me what the heck man what about

13:04 and other than the the the couple months

13:04 of tedious parking those 3 years

13:07 truthfully this is everything else was

13:10 an awesome experience being down here oh

13:11 this is the parking situation you can

13:13 see people have to kind of double Park

13:16 even to run in and get something because

13:17 the regular parking lot over here is

13:20 filled up granted you can

13:22 park a block or two away other public

13:24 lot right now and it's not too bad but

13:26 if you want to get ride up to move

13:28 something or to go in move some take

13:29 some groceries in or something like that

13:32 sometimes it's it's a hike for example

13:34 you know all these lots are filled up

13:35 someone double parked right there

13:37 someone double parked right there even a

13:40 worker can't find a spot so if you were

13:42 living here or living over

13:51 there again mostly December is the

13:51 problem and October Halloween and

13:53 Christmas in fact I don't even have my

13:55 car in this lot I had to park over in

13:58 the next surrounding lots a block away

14:00 just so I could walk over here to clean

14:02 and turn my keys in still having

14:04 memories back when I came to look at the

14:06 apartment met the realtor right down

14:09 here 3 years goes by quick but at the

14:12 same time it seems like longer but it

14:15 also seems like less it almost seems

14:16 like yesterday but it seems like 10

14:17 years ago at the same time I'm not

14:19 making any sense today one thing that

14:21 really made me happy being down here is

14:23 each

14:24 Christmas I'm also kind of echoey cuz

14:27 I'm right here in the hallway kind of

14:29 looking down at the

14:35 staircase but anytime they do the snope

14:35 I could always hear the music cues at 6

14:37 7 8 and

14:39 9 and then I could always hear everyone

14:41 laughing having a good time with their

14:42 family the snow falling right down

14:51 here pretty dang awesome always made me

14:51 happy kind of noisy but yeah noisy down

14:55 here such a great

14:57 area but it was a good it was a good

14:59 kind of noise it was the kind of noise

15:01 that made you

15:02 happy it's kind of like when you can

15:05 hear fireworks and I lived in an I could

15:08 I could hear and see the Disneyland

15:10 fireworks from my room

15:12 balcony and you knew what time it was I

15:15 always not know what time it was by the

15:17 falling of the snope

15:19 announcement on Market Street whether it

15:21 was 6 7 8 or 9 I mean I had to be one of

15:23 those hours

15:25 but you just peek out the window and you

15:28 walk out on the balcony like man this is

15:30 really freaking cool being down here I

15:32 always wanted to know if that's like a

15:34 little porch up there or what that is

15:36 you got the birds up

15:58 there got my cleaning supplies already

15:58 there of course got my coffee it's also

16:01 interesting when you have a place when

16:03 you get all the furniture out of the

16:04 place how echoey it is how Furniture

16:07 when there's Furniture in a place it

16:10 really does stop the echo echoless it's

16:14 reminds me a lot when I first walked in

16:16 when I moved in here I moved in here

16:17 with nothing just one

16:20 bag and I kind obviously I didn't have

16:22 the cleaning supplies here at that time

16:24 but kind of has the Bare Bones look on

16:27 how it was when I moved done got to get

16:29 to sweeping mopping cleaning up dusting

16:35 scrubbing that was my room down at the

16:37 end there just a little little place it

16:39 was just a living room a little kitchen

16:42 bathroom closet how do you call it a

16:46 walk-in closet in the

16:48 bedroom and then two closets here in the

16:52 hallway two small closets and a washer

16:54 and dryer in unit which was really nice

17:02 Goodbye had a lot of good memories in

17:05 here it also seems a lot smaller when

17:08 there's not anything in it a TV was over

17:11 here couch was over here there's a few

17:14 things in the cupboards and on top of

17:17 the cupboards but just having the living

17:19 room empty like this it seems smaller

17:22 it's weird how it's weird how Stuff

17:26 makes things seem bigger things seem

17:29 bigger when in reality they're the same

17:37 size things that make you go this was

17:37 that walk-in closet I was talking about

17:40 which was nice cuz there was plenty of

17:41 room to put some clothes up here I had

17:45 all these shelves full of

17:47 stuff it's amazing how much you can kind

17:50 of cram into an area if need

17:54 be that was to utilize it and this was

17:57 the bedroom here

17:58 kind of looking out had two

18:08 windows best part was having an inunit

18:08 washer and dryer which I did not have

18:10 over in

18:11 Anaheim something to be said one of of

18:14 The Simple Pleasures in life is having

18:16 an inunit washer and dryer matter how

18:18 small your place is it's it's definitely

18:22 a perk I'm getting a little sad now I'm

18:24 getting a little nostalgic I want say

18:26 sad is not the right word but I can hear

18:29 the hustle and bustle of downtown right

18:30 behind these

18:32 windows moving on to other

18:35 things very positive better things

18:39 stepping up quite a notch if you will

18:42 more on that but just you know kind of

18:46 somber when you think about

18:53 thoughts 3 years of memories I'm 49

18:53 years old so 3 years there's really

18:54 nothing in the grand scheme of things

18:56 but that's a chunk of chunk of of my

18:59 life even though I was probably only

19:01 here half the time cuz I'm always

19:02 traveling maybe even less than half you

19:03 know what I'm saying so let's say a year

19:04 and a half three other years I here

19:07 anyway it's

19:33 one of my all-time favorite shows

19:33 sitcoms anyways Threes Company even

19:36 favorite shows for that matter and that

19:39 final episode when they moved out of the

19:41 apartment always gets me always tear up

19:43 a little bit not that I'm in that same

19:47 situation or am I Jack

19:50 Tripper but you know kind of get the

19:52 same idea about anytime you're in a

19:55 place and you share memories

19:56 and you know thoughts and

20:01 life and then you have to move along

20:03 from that I don't know I just kind of

20:04 always think of that last Threes Company

20:06 episode I kind of wish they would have

20:08 just ended the the last episode with

20:10 them walking out the door and turning

20:12 the lights off but looking at The Empty

20:13 Apartment kind of always makes me get a

20:15 little mistye eyed and obviously I'm not

20:20 I'm not going to shed a tear over this

20:21 place cuz it's just was just a short 3

20:23 years and again I traveled a lot in it

20:26 but I did share a lot of a lot lot of

20:28 memories and made a lot of moments in

20:29 here and it's just a piece of my

20:32 life I didn't mean to go down a thre

20:35 company rabbit hole

20:36 but

20:39 anyway go turn the keys in

20:42 now say goodbye to this apartment

20:44 forever and on to Future wonderful

20:52 things sometimes I think I'm a little

20:52 too nostalgic for my own good it's

20:54 probably not a bad thing

20:57 but I always love looking forward to the

20:59 future and planning things and trying to

21:02 progress and accomplish things think

21:05 about what's going to happen in a year 5

21:07 years 10 years planning for that kind of

21:09 stuff and even though I am pretty

21:12 impulsive usually do have some sort of a

21:14 game

21:16 plan but I definitely dwell on the past

21:18 a lot more of a Nostalgia thing I don't

21:22 think I'm try to try to explain that

21:25 but it's more of a nostalg thing more

21:28 than oh I wish I could go back to those

21:30 times but I definitely look back at good

21:32 and bad times

21:38 fondly these are the three items I'm

21:38 taking with me all I need is this broom

21:40 this plunger this dust pan I've already

21:42 moved everything

21:54 else next time I'll be parking in here

21:54 is when I just come drive over here to

21:55 visit all right accomplished Keys have

21:57 been turned in in mailbox key turned in

22:00 filled out the

22:05 paperwork it's

22:05 done one thing I it was interesting when

22:08 I was standing there at the door looking

22:09 at The Empty Apartment one thing I

22:11 always do when I travel cuz I travel a

22:12 lot and I'll take travel pretty light I

22:15 always want to make sure I have

22:16 everything that I need as far as camera

22:20 batteries wallet keys laptop you know

22:23 all that kind of just everything and

22:24 anything that you need when you're

22:25 traveling clothes and I will open a door

22:29 to look into the an apartment or

22:32 Homestead about 10 times and I'll walk

22:34 back in make sure all the lights are off

22:36 make sure all the water is off make sure

22:39 the oven's off you know just stuff like

22:41 that I'll do that over and over and over

22:43 and I kind of did that when I was

22:45 leaving as

22:46 well just force a

22:58 habit that's a little weird it's going

22:58 to be a little it's a little weird

23:01 but moving on I ordered another coffee

23:04 going with the

23:05 second piping hot caffeinated

23:08 beverage the other one I goes

23:10 preoccupied with cleaning and

23:12 everything it wasn't it was a little

23:14 lukewarm it wasn't as piping hot by the

23:16 end so I'm going to get another one plus

23:18 that was a while back it took me a

23:19 little while in there to get everything

23:20 done lot of birds in these

23:28 trees

23:28 all this works out perfectly it looks

23:29 like cool is over there I see a little

23:31 group of people with cool I'm going say

23:33 hi to cool real quick and just let him

23:34 know I turn my keys in yeah there he is

23:36 right over

23:42 there I'll still be seeing this little

23:43 guy I still be seeing him I just won't

23:45 be I just won't be living won't be a

23:46 neighbor sted that yesterday but this is

23:49 the last this is the last thing he was

23:51 he's making eye

23:52 contact take a

23:55 look okay maybe not now he's unhappy

23:58 that I'm leaving he wants me to be

24:00 around downtown he wants me to be still

24:02 a neighbor I'm not going that far I'll

24:05 still come pop in occasionally it's see

24:13 theater oh they got signs up the signs

24:17 were not here this says ooh do not enter

24:22 now the other day well a couple weeks

24:24 ago I was here my friend World de Micah

24:26 he was in town and we walked over over

24:28 here we noticed that someone has sprayed

24:30 some of the fire

24:32 extinguishers around evidently the door

24:36 was open and someone got

24:39 inside and grabbed the fire

24:42 extinguishers you can even see some of

24:43 the fire extinguisher stuff there on the

24:52 ground I want to see this place open

24:52 again I really do I really want to see

24:54 this place open now look at Chucky and

24:56 Mickey on the back of this this car

25:04 here it's an interesting

25:04 combo signs signs everywhere is signs

25:08 think someone wrote a song like that

25:10 once over here at the Water Tower Plaza

25:25 now I need to get a bicycle pump I have

25:25 a bicycle pump on my bike

25:28 haven't rid my bike in a while I think

25:29 I'm going to start riding my bike a

25:31 more but I have a pump that attaches to

25:34 the frame of the bike a small one I want

25:36 to get a bigger pump that I can have

25:39 next to the

25:41 bike that way I can pump it up before

25:44 going out on bike rides and then use the

25:46 one pump that's there on the frame in

25:48 case I need it I think a bigger pump

25:51 would come in handy nothing to do with

25:53 the rest of the video but I want to

25:54 throw that in there cuz I'm here at the

25:55 water tower and walk through this

25:56 parking lot to get to the bike shop I

25:58 should come back tomorrow they got free

25:59 crab

26:00 tomorrow heck yeah I do like crab free

26:04 crab sounds really good but it's not

26:06 today free crab tomorrow all right $37
