0:03 welcome everyone Adam the woo here
0:03 parking Large Marge today and taking an
0:05 Uber to downtown Hot Springs
0:09 Arkansas should be
0:18 fun it's my second channel daily Vlog
0:18 channel it's the daily W whoa got a
0:21 little water on my bed it's the daily
0:23 woo I apologize buddy the last thing I
0:25 want in my bed is a wet bit I'm not even
0:28 going to I'm not even going to go there
0:29 this is it tasteless it's really good
0:32 just tast the water comes from the
0:33 ground just like just like in Alabama
0:34 it's out of the hot springs yeah and
0:36 they say due to the minerals and stuff
0:38 that it's really good for you these are
0:39 all ba old bath houses yeah and it's
0:42 still active actually so you can go in
0:44 there and take a hot springs bath uhhuh
0:46 yeah wow they just line line the roads
0:49 all right have a great time enjoy thank
0:51 you I appreciate it be back have a good
1:05 I opted for the caramel latte remnants
1:05 of a simpler time when cigars were only
1:08 10 cents and you could park anywhere you
1:11 wanted now no parking this is why I
1:13 opted for an Uber and where there is
1:15 parking available I don't think I'd fit
1:17 in that parking garage just saying
1:20 supposedly they have the world's
1:21 shortest St Patrick's Day Parade here in
1:25 town and look who is the parade starter
1:28 Ric Flair himself
1:30 woo no relation or affiliation I assure
1:35 you check this out this rock is being
1:39 exposed underneath another rock right in
1:43 front of the historic Arlington Hotel is
1:46 a statue of a woman watering the
1:49 Woodland creatures giving them a little
1:51 bit of water you thirsty fella you
1:54 thirsty it's a good thing that she is
1:56 hydrating you correctly this child is
2:00 saying I want some mom please I want
2:03 some building is no longer in use but I
2:06 think it was an old hospital because
2:09 look at this this is the sign of the
2:11 medical profession and it has been
2:14 placed on the national register of
2:16 historic places take a look at it from
2:19 the
2:20 outside pretty cool fantastic neon
2:23 lettering here at the Aristocrat I think
2:26 it used to be a hotel now it's basically
2:29 apartment I bet some pretty famous faces
2:31 back in the day got dropped off right
2:33 here in this little circle
2:35 driveway safe to say a mural dedicated
2:39 to the trolleys that once Cruis down
2:43 these very streets and if you look
2:45 closely this horse is wearing a hat if
2:47 you're going to pull a cart why not wear
2:49 your Sunday's best except this guy all I
2:52 need is a pick and it that's the only
2:55 accessory I need I meant to say pickaxe
2:59 not pick but check this out most major
3:01 league players of the early 20th century
3:03 had few inhibitions and many enjoyed
3:06 gambling during training trips to Hot
3:08 Springs even the Great Bambino himself
3:10 wandering these very streets soaking and
3:13 sweating it up in one of these bath
3:15 houses smoking a stogy however if he was
3:18 here today he'd be very disappointed in
3:20 this sign push yourself kid I'm Babe
3:23 Ruth and all seriousness though that's
3:25 pretty awesome I love baseball I love
3:26 baseball history when I was in
3:28 California a friend of a friend of a
3:30 friend of a friend of a guy who knew
3:31 someone that owned a sports memorabilia
3:33 store let me hold in my hands a baseball
3:37 sign by the man himself the health
3:39 benefits of taking the bass were a
3:42 primary reason for baseball coming to
3:43 Hot Springs the players tended to drink
3:46 heavily and believe the hot bath
3:48 regiment could boil out the impurities
3:51 of their system I like this t-shirt
3:54 Arkansas very shady according to this
3:58 Rock Arkansas has a Walk of Fame
4:00 established in
4:03 1996 honoring different people who were
4:05 born here and made significant
4:08 contributions or are recognized National
4:11 I'm not sure what The Rock has to do
4:13 with it but I'm guessing the Walk of
4:14 Fame is here I did find this however in
4:18 1944 on this very spot Bill Bojangles
4:21 Robinson celebrated a 66th birthday tap
4:25 dancing down the road I knew a man
4:27 mojangles and he'll Dance For You wonder
4:30 if he was wearing worn out shoes I love
4:32 that song it looks like they have their
4:34 own version of San Francisco's painted
4:37 ladies up there on the hill and I'm now
4:38 realizing it's not just a clever name
4:41 look at the
4:43 steam coming off of that
4:45 water it's called hot springs for a
4:48 reason now for the real
4:50 test holy cow that is that is super
4:55 super warm I guess the real question is
4:57 do more people drink their water
4:59 lukewarm or do they put it in the
5:01 refrigerator and cool it before
5:03 consuming it here I wonder in 1927 us
5:07 park ranger James Alexander KY was
5:11 killed by
5:12 Bootleggers in the National Park he was
5:15 the very first National Park Service
5:17 Ranger to be
5:19 murdered in the line of duty even though
5:22 my vehicle is 12 ft and won't fit under
5:24 the 8T clearance they do have a free
5:27 parking area which is pretty awesome if
5:30 you're a tourist and you come down here
5:31 and there are restrooms over here which
5:34 are also free to use over there in the
5:36 corner and an overload of majestic
5:40 murals man look at these
5:42 leaves beautiful one of these days I'm
5:44 going to do one of these Duck Tours at a
5:46 location I'm at not today the weather's
5:47 kind of nasty but one day it will be
5:50 done this fascinating seeing that steam
5:54 just popping up out of the water like
5:55 that it reminds me of some bigger cities
5:58 in the winter when the steam
6:00 comes from the subway great I'm not
6:02 seeing anything that would resemble what
6:04 I know as a Walk of Fame however this
6:08 guy is just chilling
6:10 here what's up
6:12 buddy yeah not like Hollywood Walk of
6:16 Fame no stars on the ground if you peek
6:19 in this candy Shop's window there is
6:21 some delicious
6:23 popcorn with caramel flavoring just walk
6:27 away just walk away my time I've been to
6:30 a lot of wax museums a lot of them owned
6:33 by the tcad family Madam Tad Lou tcad
6:37 but I've never been in one started by
6:40 Josephine let's do it that's her that's
6:43 that's not the same as Madam Tad is it
6:45 different person right I'm very confused
6:49 starting off with Steve
6:51 McQueen himself walk up the
6:54 stairway of the
6:57 Stars here we go
7:00 even though I must take the stairs they
7:03 are on an
7:05 escalator they get to write on an
7:07 escalator the sign says this is
7:10 Elizabeth Taylor but there is no name
7:13 plate for this
7:15 gentleman Who Who Are You The Last
7:18 Supper has been depicted in many many
7:20 different ways I've never seen it with
7:23 name
7:24 plates in
7:27 front in front of the characters though
7:29 in the story of the Bible Judas the one
7:32 with the money bag was the one who
7:35 betrayed there's always One Bad Apple in
7:37 the group one guy you got to watch out
7:40 for he was the guy famous Renegade Jesse
7:43 James and don't forget his brother Frank
7:46 seriously Frank James you think there
7:49 was any weirdness between these siblings
7:51 just like Sylvester Sone and his brother
7:53 also named Frank is Frank always the
7:56 Lesser known brother we're now about to
7:57 enter the Chamber of Horror
7:59 and this is way too good to pass up are
8:02 you ready for
8:04 this
8:05 Hitchcock would be a r we even have
8:10 Frankie looming over there in the corner
8:13 and the Wolf Man and I'm not sure who he
8:16 is exactly but I do see Dracula peering
8:19 through the wall after further
8:21 examination that's the Hunchback in
8:23 Notre Dame you know I'm a terrific
8:25 surgeon I could do something about that
8:26 hump what hump oh my goodness this
8:30 is moderately disturbing holy cow
8:35 dedicated to torture this guy by ants
8:39 I'm not kidding there are ants crawling
8:41 on him and it's probably a good thing
8:43 it's kind of dark in here cuz this
8:45 guy is on something called an Algerian
8:49 hook you can't see the hook it's the
8:51 darkness you can thank me later let's
8:53 just take this visual in for a
8:57 moment that's a
8:59 pendulum
9:02 swinging over a person's
9:07 torso what the
9:10 heck we've now been taken back to Ford
9:13 Theater President Lincoln he never saw
9:15 it coming this symbolizes the discovery
9:18 of hot springs in
9:21 1541 people have thrown a lot of pennies
9:23 down into the Springs maybe that's good
9:25 luck and he got to hand it to doodo even
9:27 in his moment of excitement he's still
9:29 practicing his calisthenics no way no
9:33 way is that seriously Richard Nixon
9:37 right there that
9:39 is that's is that really Richard Nixon I
9:43 just want to stand here for a few
9:44 moments and bask in the glory of this
9:48 WOW sitting next to that tree is Orville
9:51 right if you put some snow on him you
9:53 totally have Jack Nicholson from The
9:55 Shining Danny
9:57 Danny no wax museum is complete without
10:01 a portrait of the king himself I do love
10:04 this guy we both share the same
10:06 birthplace down over the balcony is
10:09 Rumple stiltskin he's up to no good
10:11 that's Johnny Depp back there and that's
10:13 not the interesting thing they're
10:14 playing the soundtrack from the
10:15 Disneyland ride Pirates of the Caribbean
10:17 in here is that allowed let's see what
10:20 happens press and hold button there he
10:23 goes he's moving he's turning into a
10:26 real boy he's not really very he's not
10:28 very Lively but he is moving very slowly
10:33 Pinocchio he's he's very lethargic if
10:36 thinking that that creature is going to
10:37 jump out of that barrel and scare you is
10:39 not startling enough look at this what
10:42 what in the name of is happening with
10:45 their faces the Mad tea party is in full
10:48 effect and if you throw a quarter in it
10:51 goes to local charities the building is
10:52 located in used to be a casino out the
10:55 window you can see some remnants of it
10:57 and they have a little section dedicated
10:58 to Al Capone and some of the slot
11:01 machines and you can even see part of
11:03 the original wall
11:06 HiHo hi
11:08 ho hi ho hi ho it's through the wax
11:12 museum I go and for whatever reason I
11:14 don't seem to remember this particular
11:17 dwarf and it empties out into a gift
11:20 shop wait a second Justin scard that was
11:24 a lot of fun highly recommended to go
11:26 through there it's enjoyable to see how
11:28 each play each wax museum is different
11:32 than another one my personal opinion
11:34 Madam tuo the upper echelon is the best
11:38 wax museum as far as realism but it's
11:40 always fun to go through some of these
11:41 campy places and see the characters head
11:43 back down the road now see what else we
11:45 can find it's kind of a dreary day not a
11:48 lot of people out I'm noticing this
11:50 place the Galaxy connection has a lot of
11:53 Star Wars stuff in the window fun fact
11:56 years ago I used to have this Pepsi
11:59 cooler in my apartment in St Cloud
12:01 Florida I have a hunch this place is
12:04 going to be
12:12 amazing there's Yoda over there hanging
12:12 out next to Ben Kenobi's
12:15 gravestone and as you pan in have a Jawa
12:20 we have Han Frozen and
12:23 Carbonite Boba Fett right here and W
12:27 look at this a speeder bike now none of
12:30 this stuff is for sale but it's back in
12:32 the museum area a lot of classic old
12:36 toys the
12:38 Falcon
12:39 chewy we're behind glass whoa bb-8's
12:42 making some noise down here hello there
12:45 didn't see you there you startled me I
12:47 don't know what's going on over here
12:48 there's some there's a little bit of it
12:50 is a little cold there I guess that's
12:51 how they warm themselves up I love how
12:53 much old school stuff they have all
12:56 through
12:57 here pretty pretty freaking cool some of
13:01 this stuff I really want to own one day
13:04 oh man the Ewok village even the metal
13:06 lunch boxes from back in the day see
13:08 these plastic bowls I used to eat cereal
13:12 out of something similar to that when I
13:13 was a kid in fact I vaguely remember
13:16 having this Empire one it brings back
13:18 memories just seeing it be a Jedi you wi
13:22 return to the Jedi is so good job's
13:24 Palace the skiff barge I need this stuff
13:27 in my life if you're brave enough to
13:29 pass these guys you can use the control
13:41 board why am I steering this thing why
13:42 am I steering it like a car I like that
13:45 place the store sold mostly newer Star
13:47 Wars stuff but the back room the little
13:49 Museum area had a lot of really cool
13:51 vintage stuff I just noticed right here
13:53 behind this
13:55 fence is a fish's Bob big boy just
13:59 chilling up there oh there you are I was
14:01 wondering where all that racket was
14:03 coming
14:22 from when I was walking around that wax
14:22 museum
14:24 earlier it reminded me of a
14:27 joke that I made up years ago and I
14:30 would tell my
14:34 friends
14:34 basically there was this local bar and
14:37 at the corner of the local bar sitting
14:41 on the
14:42 edge of the stretch of the bar was this
14:46 crazy mutated dwarf that was always
14:50 there getting angry yelling and
14:52 screaming picking fights with everyone
14:55 well this group of gentlemen came in one
14:58 day and he started yelling at one of the
15:01 guys so these three or four young men
15:05 were like whoa we should go say
15:07 something to him we're going to go
15:09 confront this thing and give him a piece
15:12 of our mind he was sitting there in the
15:15 corner just pounding back booze just
15:18 doing shots one after the other and he
15:21 had this affinity for one certain liquor
15:24 that he loved to consume and as these
15:28 guys started to walk up to him to tell
15:31 him what they thought and to confront
15:33 him the
15:34 bartender put his hand on their
15:36 shoulders said do not touch him and they
15:39 said why who is he that's rle Min stilt
15:49 skin
15:49 Vlog over
