0:01 raise
0:01 drivein it pays to eat it
0:05 rise does that mean my my money is not
0:08 good here and I'll get a check just for
0:11 eating
0:12 their that's kind of confusing huh I
0:15 could eat all day
0:17 here does that mean you get paid to eat
0:19 paid to eat it let's get paid to eat it
0:22 race that's said I like I like that
0:24 slogan but how are they going to stay in
0:26 business I really like this 1970 salon
0:30 sign also made of plastic I should get
0:33 my hair cut like that welcome everyone
0:35 Adam the woo here you think you would
0:37 look good in a hairstyle like that Dad I
0:39 would look good in any hairstyle all I
0:42 need is hair oh isn't there a song like
0:45 called like all I need is oh that's all
0:47 the leaves are brown the leaves are
0:50 brown my hair used to be brown but it's
0:52 starting to starting to gray a little
0:53 mine used to be brown too and then what
0:57 happened it fell out
1:00 it's my second channel daily Vlog
1:01 channel
1:03 it's the daily woo shuttle man shuttle
1:07 man every day he's shuttling in that van
1:11 you know what that's what I should have
1:12 done with my former van could have
1:14 created a shuttle shuttl man business
1:17 sometimes when you see an empty lot like
1:19 this you might think it's always been
1:21 that way but in this instance there are
1:23 Clues designating that that's not true
1:26 there used to be a building here you can
1:28 see the rusted out
1:30 stairwell well it's not rust it's
1:32 actually a
1:34 foam type of creation you can see the
1:38 outline of the stairs they used to go up
1:41 the side so yes it has now been proven
1:45 there used to be a building here and you
1:46 can also see the rubble but I like to
1:48 find stuff like that it it's always fun
1:51 to find remnants the name of this town
1:53 is cooko remember the beach boy song A
1:56 Ruba Jamaica o I want to take it well
1:58 the Beach Boys made up the town of cooko
2:02 but in reality there is one that exists
2:05 here in Indiana and in this park is a
2:09 gorilla that I have affectionately
2:11 called what do you think I've named this
2:14 gorilla you've already named the gorilla
2:16 yes I named this gorilla and what do you
2:19 think what do you think I have named the
2:21 gorilla well I was not an earshot so I
2:24 don't know what you I have I haven't I
2:25 have not revealed it yet but we are in
2:28 the town of C so what would you think
2:31 the gorilla's name is Coco the gorilla
2:34 exactly am I good or what which is a
2:37 real gorilla so it's not the first
2:39 gorilla named cooko Coco but do you know
2:42 the significance of the real Coco the
2:46 gorilla who is still alive 45 years old
2:50 very well known for being doing one
2:52 certain thing that a gorilla normally
2:54 does not do do you know what that is I
2:56 do not
2:57 know not he never he never went on
3:00 Coco the gorilla not this Coco from
3:03 cooko Indiana but the real Coco the
3:07 gorilla was one of the first gorillas
3:09 that could read actual sign language
3:13 over 1,000 signs if someone was giving
3:16 sign language to the gorilla Coco the
3:20 gorilla would be able to understand
3:23 these signals and could
3:26 interact pretty incredible right the
3:29 real C not not I know you're very
3:31 confused the real Coco the gorilla how
3:34 would they
3:35 know that he was understanding
3:38 theage I don't know see right there he's
3:40 giving you the sign fist bump
3:47 him that was that was that was very
3:47 long- winded to get to that point but I
3:50 think we accomplished you did it well
3:51 you did it very well thank you thank you
4:04 right across the
4:06 street dad is enamored he's being pulled
4:10 into its tractor
4:12 beam the Coco mantis now I have to warn
4:15 you there may or may not be a legend
4:18 that if you look too intently in his
4:20 eyes you could turn to Stone wait that's
4:23 something no that that's a totally
4:25 different thing here's a question for
4:26 you though is it praying mantis as if it
4:30 is praying like on its knees praying to
4:33 the heavens or is it praying like it is
4:36 about to attack you and it's seeking its
4:38 prey oh it depends on whether you're a
4:40 human or you're a bug if you're a human
4:43 you can say it's a praying man just like
4:44 he's praying to the heavens but if
4:47 you're a bug he's definitely praying on
4:49 you cuz he's going to eat your Al so
4:50 watch out he's behind you he's behind
4:52 you this entire area is full of all kind
4:56 of creatures this it's a very Majestic
4:59 beautiful
5:00 horse here drawn on the wall plenty of
5:03 Transportation here as well and the
5:06 local newspaper is called The Herald
5:08 tucked away in this
5:11 alley is a little Thorofare leading to
5:14 the courthouse Straight Ahead the thing
5:16 I always find interesting are these
5:19 windows located here on the side of the
5:21 wall and there are artistic Renditions
5:26 peeking
5:27 out looking down into the alley
5:30 way prettyy cool looking you can faintly
5:33 see it but the words inscribed on the
5:35 water tower State cooko some of the
5:39 architecture downtown always fascinates
5:42 me what is more fascinating than that is
5:45 this burglar why would you give that
5:47 away why would you let the burglars know
5:49 where the alarm box is another
5:51 fascinating tidbit about cooko it was
5:54 the home of the very first car made in
5:58 America in 18 1994 invented by Elwood
6:02 Haynes this is just a recreation and
6:06 also of course James Dean born and lived
6:09 in Fairmount which is about an hour hour
6:11 and a half from cook some people call it
6:14 the city of first and one thing you will
6:17 notice not only about Indiana but also
6:19 Illinois anywhere in this General
6:21 Tri-State vicinity everyone Embraces
6:24 Lincoln that's that's supposed that's
6:26 Abraham Lincoln right am I correct a
6:27 young Lincoln do you know where Lincoln
6:28 was born he was born in Illinois born in
6:31 Kentucky see so I was so we got Illinois
6:35 Indiana and Kentucky everyone everyone
6:38 Embraces Mr Lincoln I definitely love
6:40 the way they have decorated
6:43 downtown perspective since
6:47 1989 that could possibly be the artistic
6:50 group that painted the side this mural
6:54 here on the wall this actual real door
6:56 has been converted into a car tun door
7:00 you can't go inside here cuz it's locked
7:03 but there is a mail slot but don't be
7:05 deceived that is by Me Knocking
7:08 someone's probably going to open the
7:09 door and wonder why I'm standing outside
7:13 oh check this out here is a modernday
7:17 newy we went to the play Yesterday
7:20 Newsies and that is a more current day
7:23 newsy a fun fact the first paying job I
7:26 ever had was working for this man
7:30 delivering newspapers chunking
7:32 newspapers window we were Newsies we
7:35 were in a way quarter it was really your
7:37 route I was very young we lived in
7:39 nville Florida how old do you think I
7:41 would have been around that time period
7:43 uh probably 10 maybe 10 11 years old we
7:46 got up at 3:00 in the morning yep give
7:47 or take an hour went and rolled the
7:49 papers you drove threw out your side of
7:52 the window and I threw out my side of
7:53 the window yep very little SLE sleep was
7:57 had speaking of Abraham Lincoln
8:00 he was actually born in Kentucky HJ say
8:03 Hodgenville Kentucky 1809 you don't
8:06 sound too confident well that's what
8:07 Google said there is no trolley here
8:09 these are actual train tracks that are
8:11 no longer in use that go straight
8:14 through they Kine through downtown and
8:16 even though the train is not operational
8:19 straight through here they still have
8:21 the tracks they have not removed them a
8:22 little remnant of the past and as you
8:25 follow them you can see where it even
8:27 gets more and more sidewalking if to use
8:31 that term this has not been this has not
8:34 been utilized in the train sense in
8:36 quite some time whatever you
8:39 do don't look
8:42 down the
8:43 bridge Still Remains and that is awesome
8:47 the
8:48 structure just rotting away under the
8:52 Indiana
9:01 Sky I love it I love this kind of stuff
9:01 even though it is slightly
9:03 terrifying that as you walk you could
9:07 plumet
9:08 down straight down into the
9:12 Ravine it's a little terrifying and the
9:15 further you
9:16 progress foliage starts to
9:21 abound and then it turns directly into a
9:25 dirt
9:26 track relics
9:29 of a different
9:32 time so awesome really not a whole heck
9:35 of a lot of graffiti etched on the side
9:38 except for this makeshift anarchy symbol
9:42 and the words Minor Threat gosh I love
9:44 that band We're Just A Minor Threat and
9:47 that's a promise all this walking around
9:49 has made me quite thirsty I'm going to
9:52 get a beverage at the coolest
9:54 convenience store here in town the story
9:57 book Express look at this place however
10:01 when you walk inside the theming does
10:03 not keep up with the outside appearance
10:07 it does not look like a fairy tale
10:10 inside here it looks basically like a
10:12 normal convenience door but from the
10:15 outside perspective it is
10:18 impressive most impressive I asked one
10:21 of the ladies working inside with the
10:22 backstory and history was and she didn't
10:25 really seem to know the only thing she
10:26 called this place was the Harry Potter
10:29 house house I can kind of see that I
10:31 could kind of see the resemblance I'm
10:32 guessing this entire property was
10:34 something else before the convenience
10:36 store took over even look at the fence
10:39 line all ornate and decorative except
10:43 someone has thrown a rock or a brick
10:46 through there
10:48 nonetheless very
10:50 beautiful very beautiful indeed if you
10:53 plugged your phone into the bottom of
10:55 that rocket it would blast off into the
10:58 stratosphere that's not someplace you
11:00 want to charge your phone because you
11:02 never see your phone again and there is
11:04 a bowling ball look there's a bowling
11:07 ball in the wall
11:10 itself you don't see that every day
11:12 around the backside I never noticed this
11:15 before but there is an inscription that
11:17 says enter into his courts with praise
11:21 you think maybe this was a
11:22 church an
11:25 unusual displayed church building at one
11:28 point
11:30 perhaps I am normally more of a regular
11:32 Mountain Dew kind of guy but today I'm
11:34 going code red and Dad going full Diet
11:38 Coke you you're a fan of the diet coke I
11:41 am the fan of the diet coke why do you
11:42 prefer the diet coke over normal I fell
11:44 for the very first advertising campaign
11:47 just for the taste of it so you like the
11:49 taste I love the it's not because it's
11:51 diet correct it's only so if you if you
11:54 had a Coke and a Diet Coke in front of
11:56 could you tell the difference I could
11:58 absolutely regular Coke is way too
12:00 sugary and syrupy Diet Coke is not so
12:03 much now see if I drink diet Mountain
12:05 Dew I prefer regular Mountain Dew
12:08 because Diet Mountain Dew to me does not
12:10 taste as good but you're completely the
12:12 opposite I am just for the taste just
12:14 for the taste
