0:03 today's adventure begins on this very
0:03 Rapid River here in quink Ecuador as the
0:06 recording of This TGIF it is Friday
0:09 February 14th
0:11 2025 I am going to an Ecuadorian Zoo
0:16 here in town my uncle and I are going to
0:19 Traverse up the side of a hill well a
0:21 mountain it might be muddy it might be
0:24 slightly treacherous he assures me that
0:27 it will be quite
0:30 an
0:32 adventure welcome everyone out of the
0:35 woo here my quest to possibly find a
0:39 twocan
0:42 continues maybe they'll have one at the
0:45 zoo going to see some animals some South
0:47 American
0:49 animals here in ecor inviting you to
0:51 join me see what happens shall you he we
0:55 grabbed a taxi and it was I don't know
0:59 maybe five or 6 miles from where we were
1:01 to get to the point hit a dirt road and
1:03 then you go about half a mile maybe even
1:06 a mile up the dirt road taxi driver took
1:09 us up this dirt road it's kind of bumpy
1:12 and has different grooves in it from the
1:15 recent rain we made it to the top
1:19 overlooking the vicinity of quink
1:24 Ecuador so the zoo starts way up here
1:28 and then evidently we're going to be
1:29 climbing in even higher elevation quink
1:33 is about a 8,500 or 9,000 FT elevation
1:37 but we're going to be getting up to
1:38 about 12 or 13 by the time we end up
1:41 walking so I decided to go ahead and
1:43 bring my hoodie with me as
1:45 well this is awesome this is going to be
1:48 so
1:49 cool and my uncle even though he's lived
1:51 here for about 3 years has never been to
1:54 this Zoo so he's getting to do something
1:55 he's never done either just him and I
1:58 it's a bus stop
2:00 what is
2:08 this it's a tree full of
2:08 animals there's an an
2:11 eater right
2:13 there o I hope I see a
2:16 twocan maybe I'll see a twocan here
2:19 someone from Florida that's not used to
2:21 this elevation this is going to be an
2:24 experience I've learned by being here
2:27 whenever you walk up an incline at this
2:29 elevation and you feel it when you're
2:31 not used to these
2:34 mountains price of admission
2:36 $9 two tickets plus two waters was $20
2:40 I've always learned with elevation that
2:42 you should stay hydrated I've heard when
2:44 high elevation areas you should always
2:45 stay hydrated no touching no smoking
2:49 photos and video are allowed but no
2:51 flash do not flash it'll startle the
2:53 animals and no calisthenics on any of
2:55 the benches do not try to
3:00 put doing a uh stretching on the fences
3:02 here this a little model here of some of
3:06 the terrain of
3:12 Ecuador this is kind of the walkway they
3:12 have this chicken wire over the top of
3:15 it and then it's not steps it's just
3:17 like a it's like a almost like a wooden
3:19 dock that goes downhill if it didn't
3:22 have the chicken wire on it You'
3:23 probably lose your footing show some of
3:25 the different the many different
3:27 volcanoes that are here in Ecuador
3:30 43
3:38 volcanoes all right I want to time
3:38 exactly how long at my little Mickey
3:40 watch here it's uh let's just call it
3:43 10:15 we're starting off see how long it
3:46 takes us to walk through the
3:53 zoo I have a feeling it's going to be a
3:53 lengthy time frame through here just
3:55 getting going basically through the
3:57 mountainous jungles through elev
4:00 a shwar Hut this is where people would
4:03 have lived yeah with the mud on the side
4:14 there anything
4:14 inside uh doesn't look like it just uh
4:17 some overgrowth side of the Hill didn't
4:19 know if they had some
4:21 them know stuff they would live in there
4:25 with no explanation to what this is
4:28 however
4:30 a bunch of logs and sticks and then
4:32 there's like a piece of tarp over
4:41 it they do provide a
4:41 wooden little fence that you can hold on
4:44 to a little walkway for your hand but
4:46 it's uh little shaky oos and
4:51 Doos this shows the correlation of the
4:53 size of what a Grizzly would be and a
4:57 polar would be here it
5:00 there hello parrot very odd looking
5:03 ducks here yeah look at these how you
5:05 doing there's one in the back how you
5:08 doing
5:09 duck another one right
5:15 here like a little piece of glass
5:15 between us and the
5:17 birds and then it's open air on their
5:20 side a little more info about the bears
5:23 in fact this
5:24 shows their footprint there and here are
5:28 some prints that they would leave
5:30 and the habitat that they're normally
5:32 found
5:41 in I see one I see one right
5:41 there hiding behind that
5:44 Branch oh you going to be camera shy huh
5:47 okay this is definitely the I mean I
5:50 haven't been to a gazillion zoos but
5:52 I've been to a lot of different ones and
5:54 this is the first one I've seen that's
5:55 anything like this it's just up in the
5:56 jungles of a mountain
6:03 and there's like a little Cliff there
6:03 probably to keep the bear from climbing
6:04 up to towards us and you got this little
6:08 chain leak fence really all that's
6:10 holding the Bears the animals back from
6:12 us climbing up here but I think he's
6:14 more interested in snacking on that food
6:15 over there pay no attention to the
6:18 tourist spare oh I think there's a deer
6:20 in here there is there's a deer right
6:24 there there's a
6:26 deer he sweetie
6:30 hi
6:31 there you going underneath there going
6:33 through
6:45 there venados Cola Blanca kind of
6:45 curious on the backstory of some of
6:46 these I went to the bise zoo when I was
6:48 in bise in Central America and all the
6:51 animals they had there were being
6:53 rehabilitated because there could not be
6:55 out in the wild because they had issues
6:58 in the wild and they were being taken
7:00 care of but I'm not sure the backstory
7:02 on this particular place
7:03 but if I come across it I'll share
7:06 here's the view and then if you look up
7:08 here there's another animal I think
7:12 we're going to be able to walk up there
7:13 but he's like up there on that ledge
7:15 right there he's got
7:22 horns
7:22 beautiful some bamboo here little
7:25 doorway for
7:27 the keepers to walk through
7:33 how you
7:33 doing good to see you down there you got
7:36 quite the view you have a spectacular
7:39 view of the city look at
7:43 that amazing this is is a little seating
7:46 area we can relax and get a view of
7:51 quink they probably do Bird shows in
7:53 here too
8:00 okay possibly do a show of here some
8:00 sort this would would be amazing if they
8:02 were doing that today look at this
8:17 wow I hear you bird I hear you this is
8:17 quite the amphitheater outdoor
8:19 Amphitheater I'm also regretting ringing
8:23 this it's definitely not as cool up here
8:25 as I was expecting
8:38 all right the workers just alerted us
8:38 there's a puma right up
8:40 here look right there and I also asked
8:45 if they had twocans here and I think
8:47 they were alluding to the fact that I
8:49 might see a
9:01 house this bird here possibly a
9:01 condor oh oh hi coming right up to us
9:05 see
9:11 us oh that's cool walking the tight RPP
9:11 walking the tree branch
9:13 there all right going back down lots of
9:16 ups and
9:18 downs muddy stairs slick
9:22 spots all part of the experience so
9:25 evidently some of the the young ones are
9:27 in here and you look in here
9:30 oh it again oh it's a dead spider yeah
9:34 probably H
9:36 bird what you
9:39 doing what you doing
9:42 bird how you doing good to see
9:46 you ooh got some these
9:49 vultures oh I like this little walkway
9:51 through here I walked through like a
9:52 shark
9:53 Corridor at SeaWorld and stuff where you
9:57 have sharks above your head but I've
9:59 never walked through a vulture Corridor
10:01 before
10:04 never never
10:06 vulture watch
10:07 out get through
10:10 here
10:25 one o
10:25 hi you could use a good
10:28 haircut what are you trying to do
10:30 llama I love walking amongst the foliage
10:34 and the sticks and the twigs and the
10:40 branches again really adds
10:40 to really adds to the Ambiance kind of
10:43 see him through the
10:45 branch way up there you're eyeballing me
10:47 aren't you bird staring now you're
10:49 scratching your
10:50 face I won that staring
10:53 contest but that is this bird here that
10:57 was just staring at so didn't really
10:59 show up on camera but that was the look
11:01 that bird was giv me right like that
11:04 he's thinking who are
11:06 you a bob cat get out here look like a
11:10 little cat almost yeah it does
11:13 right how you doing
11:16 cutie how you doing baby
11:29 we up above where the llamas were so a
11:32 couple different ones down
11:39 there oh and this one I was showing a
11:39 minute ago just reached his face up his
11:42 neck up and he's chowing down on those
11:44 leaves getting a little foliage little
11:46 snackage the difference between
11:48 llamas and alpacas right
11:55 there that's a
11:55 llama Or now that's an
11:57 alpaca and that that is a
12:01 fly probably a biting fly not here and
12:05 there's there's one a non-biting fly
12:07 there's a fly right there too just an
12:08 annoying fly just an annoying fly
12:10 speaking of flies this little section
12:12 through here is a Cavalcade of flies are
12:15 we just walk through an onslaught of
12:16 flies they're all just congregating
12:18 right in here I always feel bad for
12:21 vultures and Eels cuz I feel like
12:23 whenever they're shown in movies and
12:26 cartoons they're always evil but I
12:28 wonder if there's any nice vultures
12:30 wonder if there's any kind eels okay I
12:32 was just
12:33 informed Uncle told me
12:36 that the vulture is the national bird
12:39 here they are revered here just like a
12:41 bald eagle in the
12:44 US I did not know
12:46 that did you know that
12:50 goat hey goat hey he Buton hook
12:54 me yeah never heard that Sandler bit
12:57 getting a little food there llama
12:59 you eating you chowing in yeah how's it
13:05 going this is awesome look at you right
13:08 there haming it up for the camera
13:11 chowing down for everyone that's
13:14 watching you you making eye
13:17 contact what's your name
13:25 llama all right you're not an alpaca
13:25 though I know that now I've learned by
13:27 taking road trips across Route 66 up
13:29 into ostrich Farms ostriches are very
13:33 dangerous like when you try to feed an
13:35 ostrich they will peck the living you
13:38 know what out of you they will just
13:41 they'll go for the Gusto trying to Peck
13:43 you I don't know if they're the same in
13:45 Ecuador but in the USA ostriches that
13:49 are kept on Route
13:50 66 they will Nestle Down onto your skin
13:54 with their beaks all right again very
13:56 very slick very very you can see little
14:01 shoe prints there people who've like
14:03 slipped down the side I'm really loving
14:06 Vibe of this place I mean look at this
14:10 it doesn't really get much better than
14:12 this look at this oh there's some
14:14 pigs way over
14:27 Texas Little Pigs okay I like this look
14:27 up top here on the roof that's little a
14:29 little bit of
14:30 theming okay A little bit of theming on
14:32 point try to see this
14:34 bear so walking around over there see
14:36 him yeah look at him there look at
14:40 him yes strike a
14:49 pose come on
14:49 V let your body move to the
14:52 music you got oh yeah going back the
14:54 other way I got camera shy all right
14:56 it's fine you didn't like the Madonna
14:57 reference I get it it looks as if we're
14:59 going to walk back through this little
15:00 bamboo entry point here and we're going
15:04 to come over and see the pigs up
15:18 yes oh yeah oh my goodness there's a
15:18 mess load of them look at them just
15:21 having a grand old time in the
15:23 mud happier than a pig in s you know
15:26 what the saying is slap that's the
15:28 that's what I meant they run wild in
15:30 Texas I oh yeah I've heard it's a real
15:33 problem mhm sometimes even in Florida
15:36 when I worked at the feed store people
15:37 would come in and buy the the stuff to
15:39 keep the pigs from rooting up their
15:41 ground what are you talking about I
15:43 remember in the park there and the a
15:44 celebration you were talking about pigs
15:47 in the park back yeah I've never seen
15:50 any well no but they had a sign
15:52 something mention yeah maybe I've seen
15:54 I've seen deer a lot of deer
15:56 mhm I'd like to see one of these cute
15:58 pigs I'm going to take one back on the
15:59 plane with me oh yeah I love that a
16:02 little I to buy it I have to buy it a
16:04 seat though I get no carry on how things
16:07 I don't know how things work
16:08 internationally when you try to take a
16:09 pig and have a pig sitting next to you
16:12 but domestically in the US they frown
16:15 upon you bringing a a pig on on board a
16:18 snit with
16:19 a maybe if I took maybe he washed it off
16:22 not much you say you're your emotional
16:23 support Pig emotional support Pig yeah I
16:27 like that oh we got the solo Pig over
16:29 here this is the this is the bad
16:32 pig you're by
16:38 yourself that would be me if I was a pig
16:38 like put me by myself in my own little
16:40 thing keep me away from
16:43 everyone coming over here see this pig
16:46 identifies with me he knows that me and
16:48 him are hey Kindred Spirits what's going
16:52 on piggy piggy huh what's going on I
16:55 want some food want some food yeah
17:03 what's your story
17:03 pig say my stories I want to get out of
17:06 here yeah this is this should be the one
17:08 I take on the plan there you go this is
17:10 I'm going to ask I'm going to ask up
17:12 front if I could buy this pig this is
17:14 your spirit animal right here
17:16 yep yeah piggy the woo we're going to
17:19 walk through this log
17:22 here going to stroll past piggy the
17:26 woo we're going to walk through this log
17:32 oh this is
17:32 cool I also like the fact that really no
17:35 one is here there's like one other group
17:37 of like a two people that we've seen
17:39 other than the workers so you have no
17:41 problem with experience everything all
17:44 by yourself through here sometimes when
17:46 you go to other touristic places you're
17:49 really kind of trying to find a spot to
17:51 even get a view there's no issues here I
17:54 mean look at this there's no one else
17:56 walking through this very unique log
17:58 walk way this is showing how some are
18:02 rescued and some are not from fires from
18:07 wildfires some will escape and many will
18:11 not and this is what this little section
18:13 over here symbolizes
18:58 Fallen you got a food court up here a
18:58 couple other items for heading back down
19:00 the
19:01 hill here at the food court is a volcano
19:04 couple got a little staircase there
19:06 going up the side of the brush you can
19:08 go up there see the volcano what was it
19:13 volcanoes in Ecuador if I remember the
19:17 the sign on the way in here's a
19:19 something I always love to see different
19:22 distances to
19:25 places I'm obviously not familiar with
19:27 the terrain of ecor so w these places
19:29 I'm not sure of but here are some of the
19:33 kilometers they don't use mileage here
19:34 they use
19:41 kilometers see what they got over at the
19:41 snack bar all right I've been on a
19:43 lollipop kick lately doing it for telly
19:46 salala so I think I'm going to get
19:48 myself hello I'm going to get a lollipop
19:51 thank you just one Uno oh there's a fish
19:54 pond down here look at this oh these are
19:57 really beautiful
19:59 fish wow look at these
20:02 fish they are beautiful look at all the
20:04 different
20:06 colors and then over here is a larger
20:09 one that's just off by his own over in
20:12 his own little
20:19 section I love look at these fish look
20:19 at this beautiful light blue one right
20:32 I'm going to name that light blue one
20:32 right there
20:33 Telly and then this one right here this
20:35 little one syalis all right now we're
20:37 walking through an another swirly bamboo
20:41 area this cool look at
20:49 this the birds are whistling they're
20:49 doing the cat call whistle
21:02 oh look at this look at this archaic
21:02 awesome way to open the door it's like
21:05 something out of Swiss Family
21:06 Robinson look at that the door closes
21:10 and that goes down sure Clos I'm easily
21:13 excited oh I got to close this door yeah
21:16 the bir get out oh wait how's that close
21:18 oh hold on second it's stuck on
21:20 something yeah stuck on
21:29 top I forgot about the
21:29 okay there we go
21:37 interesting we don't have stuff like
21:37 that back in the States you got to see
21:38 your to oh thank
21:42 you thank you so much give me that
21:46 whistle give me some conf little
21:49 confidence making me feel good thank
21:53 you you see the two cans
22:02 this is a really cool little area look
22:03 at this we just walking through with the
22:07 birds I
22:15 know you looking at my
22:15 lollipop hey cuties oh my gosh this is
22:19 so magical look at
22:21 this you are all so
22:24 magical I see I'm like a tractor beam
22:26 I'm being pulled in I'm being pulled
22:29 into to this gentleman over
22:38 here I don't know if his name is Sam
22:38 wasn't the two can was it two can Sam
22:40 two can
22:47 Sam look at this there's a twocan right
22:47 there yes I have been looking for you
22:50 since
22:51 bise yep
22:57 you there you are right there it's
22:57 interesting that there's a twocan Named
23:00 Sam I'm not saying your name is Sam but
23:02 there's also a yosity
23:04 Sam I wonder if they ever did a any kind
23:07 of animation of yuse and Toucan Sam the
23:16 Sams scratching yourself tan at the
23:16 onlookers that walk through here and
23:18 probably gets really annoyed that anyone
23:20 would call him Sam so oh show it off the
23:46 Muddy oh my goodness look at this yeah
23:46 this looks like that sloth the pigs are
23:47 walking around in all right we're going
23:50 to we're going to become pigs right now
24:03 Jungle the nether region the nether
24:03 region the
24:20 raccoons sticking his tongue out a
24:20 raccoon all right not a raccoon similar
24:23 to a raccoon a mapacha mapache
24:38 family definitely seeing a lot of
24:38 different animals I've never seen
24:46 before oh hello
24:46 aache don't call you a
24:58 raccoon it's kind of like rocket from
24:58 Guardians I am not a
25:01 raccoon that was a bad my hands don't
25:05 scan crocodile right there right there
25:07 see them yeah just chilling out so you
25:10 know how you tell the difference in a
25:11 crocodile and an alligator it's the nose
25:13 it's a snout Florida's got a lot of
25:16 gators not a lot of crocodiles I've been
25:18 to Australia to see the crocod or the
25:19 Alligators or the crocodiles the big
25:21 ones yeah big Che noses they're uh
25:24 they'll chase you man oh yeah they're
25:26 fast too and I'm mess with crocodiles I
25:29 don't mess with gators either one right
25:40 there oh he's waving at
25:41 you he was waving at you and waving at
25:43 me too he's waving at both of us w w hey
25:46 baby okay cool all the way over here in
25:49 that's right cool that's
25:55 right you're heading towards the water
25:55 you to show us all show us show us your
25:57 stuff huh
25:59 what you doing buddy oh look at you you
26:01 are not camera
26:02 shy you you probably want to like rip my
26:05 face off probably the reality of it but
26:08 maybe you're nice maybe you want to give
26:09 me a little kiss I'm not going to find
26:30 be that's woud then you went on look at
26:30 this spider web and its natural
26:33 habitat there's a spider right there
26:36 here you hear every little Nuance of all
26:45 animals and the creakiness of the
26:52 doors I love
26:52 it oh it's humid in here woo it's hot in
27:04 you wow yeah it's like a greenhouse it's
27:04 like a greenhouse uh
27:15 environment them down
27:15 there one of them with their mouth open
27:17 right there the other one over there
27:19 with his mouth closed
27:35 Snappers Jewel of the Nile quot oh
27:35 actually no rancing the stone rancing
27:37 the stone
27:38 quote they get the quotes from both of
27:40 those classes
27:52 Snappers hey Ira hey Ira the kids here
27:52 with the
27:53 broad wait a second oh
27:56 oh hi there
28:02 there there's a couple of them there's
28:04 another tcan right here amongst the
28:06 crocodiles and
28:08 alligators another one up there sloth oh
28:11 a
28:19 sloth oh you're
28:19 beautiful you're
28:21 beautiful two weeks four weeks
28:25 yeah where's the sloth oh right there
28:28 yeah look at the
28:30 sloth is that his face yeah that is his
28:43 chilling hey
28:43 sloth hi
28:50 there where are you at
28:50 snakes where are you at
28:53 snakes oh right there right there right
28:56 there's a right there's a guy
28:59 look at it right
29:05 there another one right
29:05 here it's a
29:08 boa and stay there
29:31 again they don't want you using any
29:31 flash
29:32 photography because you'll startle the
29:41 animals wow there's a lot of freaking
29:41 snakes in
29:50 oh right down there that's a big
29:54 one oh
29:57 man saw a snake that size in the
29:59 wild I would
30:01 definitely be losing my
30:28 mind I got to say this zoo is very
30:28 expansive they have a lot of
30:30 animals this place is like no joke you
30:32 could be here for a long time just goes
30:35 on and on and
30:55 Viper vipers snipers conmen Indian agans
30:55 Mexican Bandits MERS bug gers
30:58 Bushwhackers hor
31:17 thieves how often do you go through a
31:17 zoo with a series of pulleys to open the
31:20 doors the creaky Ambiance hundreds of
31:25 snakes and a piece of heavy machine oh
31:28 and a monkey going over the top of the
31:31 piece of heavy
31:33 machinery this is something you don't
31:35 see at your average tourist attraction
31:37 there are monkeys climbing up and
31:41 down the sides and across the rooftops
31:45 are we supposed to walk that
31:53 way monkeys are going above did we
31:53 already go in here no we haven't been in
31:55 here no
32:03 oh my gosh it's
32:03 terrifying into the
32:23 darkness it's a turtle snapping turtle
32:23 right down
32:25 here this is the turtle enclosure
32:33 this place just goes on and on and
32:33 on it's a pretty good size tortoise
32:36 tortoise or turtle shell I know
32:38 sometimes when they're like bigger than
32:40 a normal Turtle they call them
32:42 tortoises what do they call Tuda Tortuga
32:45 like some tree frog be a section for
32:47 tree frogs Centro the conservation D
32:53 amphibius my apologies for not being
32:55 able to pronounce or annunciate a lot of
32:58 these words
33:09 but it's also probably going to be a
33:09 long video but I want to show the
33:11 Ambiance and noises and organic Vibes of
33:14 this
33:27 place you want now now that I'm not over
33:27 there we we're going to them the monkey
33:29 we're going to get over to I just asked
33:31 a young lady about that she said there a
33:32 little further down look there's one
33:33 right there there's one right there and
33:36 the this little tunnel of fun been doing
33:39 a lot of stuff here in Ecuador and
33:40 everything all the mission is usually
33:42 three four5 at most this was
33:44 $9 which is really nothing in comparison
33:47 to an attraction in the US you know if
33:49 you go to place like this in the US
33:51 probably like 30
33:52 bucks I thought for $9 for here it's
33:55 pricey but you can spend hours in this
33:58 place we've been here a while here's
33:59 some of the some of the monkeys that are
34:02 going to be through here oh right there
34:03 right there how you
34:06 doing oh he's cover up he's look look at
34:10 you look like look at that man that's so
34:14 cool just is that an apple it looks like
34:16 it yeah yeah she got those
34:18 teeth you are not shy at all see a
34:22 shadow one of your friends coming in hot
34:25 look at you
34:27 right
34:30 there wow look at
34:32 that that's amazing no no no fear at
34:37 all wow that's so
34:39 cool not dead yet I'll come back you are
34:43 not
34:45 shy man that's awesome just chowing down
34:48 on an Apple monkey you happy you happy
34:50 eating an apple y maybe it's an or I
34:54 can't tell if it's an apple or an orange
34:58 the other one showed up
35:00 now you going to get you a mango or an
35:02 apple or
35:03 something looking around for That Sweet
35:06 Juicy Fruit not the gum I know not the
35:09 gum I'm talking about actual real real
35:11 fruit real fruit a move you it's got a
35:14 taste that goes right I'm making a lot
35:16 of Pop Culture references
35:18 today look at this they're they know
35:21 we're here
35:22 now look up here there he is oh yeah hey
35:25 baby man this is the coolest freaking
35:28 thing oh
35:29 yeah climb up there at oh my goodness
35:33 what are you
35:34 doing what are you doing Monkey High
35:38 he's
35:40 dancing look at this I'm pulling on this
35:42 I'm in heaven right now watching this
35:44 this is
35:45 amazing oh my gosh this is the coolest
35:48 freaking
35:54 thing I'm literally in South America
35:54 watching monkeys having a good time
36:02 this it's a tunnel of recyclable
36:05 material and I would guess they create
36:08 this just to draw attention to littering
36:11 to have people put their stuff in the
36:13 trash can because right here yeah so
36:17 don't throw items like that in the sea I
36:20 got to walk through this bad boy it's
36:22 almost like the rainbow tunnel at Epcot
36:24 except it's made out of plastic bottles
36:26 I just hit my hat on top of the roof
36:27 plastic
36:28 bottle oh my gosh I'm too tall for
36:36 this oh yeah this is all showing
36:36 littering drawing attention to not
36:45 littering what was
36:45 that
36:55 squishiness definitely one of the most
36:55 unique and interesting and awesome zoos
36:58 I've ever been to and I've been to a
37:19 muddy also one thing I like about this
37:19 place it's not a maze it's like a labate
37:21 so there's really no wrong way to go as
37:24 long as you continue going straight you
37:25 will not get lost so some places you got
37:28 to like go to one spot take a left take
37:30 a right go back this you just continue
37:33 following the path like a labyrinth the
37:34 terrain is very Rocky though very muddy
37:37 and the elevation is no joke you're not
37:41 used to it definitely get winded a lot
37:43 quicker here in this 12,000 foot
37:47 elevation give or take here's the
37:49 footprints of the little different
37:50 monkeys
38:00 they even have a mirror there you can
38:00 put your
38:00 own humano homo
38:03 sapian oh
38:05 hi what you
38:07 doing this has to be the family of the
38:10 an an
38:18 eater chowing down on some
38:18 mud or something that's inside the mug
38:21 or
38:23 mud I also like how the animals come out
38:26 right up to when you go to
38:28 a lot of more touristy places the states
38:30 there so many people the animals usually
38:32 ignore
38:33 everyone here they're so
38:36 friendly I want to say
38:44 hello scratching his
38:46 heiney got his Hy up against the tree
38:49 there scratching the heiney oh coming up
38:51 coming up
38:53 monkey coming up the side of the little
38:56 Hill here this monkey yeah
38:59 hello coming up to say hi Monkey yep
39:03 come on up come on up oh you're the one
39:05 that was scratching your little
39:12 behind get the get that scratch on there
39:12 we go look at
39:14 that what is happening right now this is
39:16 reality oh there's another one right
39:17 above
39:24 me oh look at this little
39:24 tunnels Tunnels for the monkeys that is
39:26 amazing
39:31 there's a mess load of
39:31 them well there's three of them but I
39:33 could classify that as a mess load oh
39:36 there's another look at that look over
39:37 there there's one climbing the tree way
39:38 up there look at that he's dangling from
39:41 the tree they're showing
39:45 off might not might be hard to see it on
39:47 camera he's right there in the middle of
39:48 the screen and then there's this guy not
39:50 dangling from the tree you just wants to
39:51 take the the
39:58 tunnels unbelievably
39:58 awesome this might be the longest video
40:01 ever ocelotes is that what these are
40:03 called ocelotes I think that's it's like
40:05 a version of a leper or leopard not a
40:08 leopard a leopard there another one
40:11 right over
40:22 there oh
40:22 yeah there he is right up there very
40:25 fast very fast fast will also say how
40:29 this I was saying this is you start at
40:31 Point a you go you end at the very point
40:34 B and you just what
40:43 is so look problem with that if you've
40:43 come here is once you're in it you have
40:46 to be in it to win it you can't get a
40:48 third of the way through and then cut
40:50 down a different Pathway to
40:52 leave it it all is one way a very
40:55 lengthy up the mountain down the
40:59 mountain one way so once you start
41:02 you're kind of in
41:04 it but you can't get lost not it w get
41:07 lost in
41:20 here up shrunken head shrunken head
41:20 there's a shrunken head
41:39 path you can definitely twist an ankle
41:39 pretty
41:45 easily oh there's still going to be some
41:45 African lions and jaguars a headstone
41:49 Andor cross right
41:56 here carvings in that rock formation you
41:56 see them
41:59 yeah way up there yes there he is right
42:04 up there resting on that Branch
42:06 there hi take it a na it's like opened
42:10 his eyes and was looking right at
42:19 me nice little spot for a
42:19 nap there's another animal I've never
42:21 seen before actually a couple of them up
42:23 top but then there's one right here kind
42:26 of rooting around in the
42:27 dirt right
42:30 there okay we're getting some
42:32 tortoises oh yeah
42:35 hi hey
42:50 sweetie how are you you eating a little
42:50 foliage there now I have seen tortoises
42:53 like this before Gator Land I fed them
42:55 lettuce uhuh
43:12 amazing all right I'll leave you be
43:12 we're going to go back inside another
43:13 little
43:14 door see you buddy
43:32 now it's interesting that these are
43:32 inside this greenhouse which is way
43:35 warmer and way more humid evidently
43:37 these tortoises or Tortugas need a
43:41 environment to survive a warmer
43:45 climate than the one we just spoke to
43:47 outside
43:50 listen it's a freaking tiger
44:17 lion okay those are lions right
44:17 there I can hear
44:35 wow they see us down
44:35 here going to
44:50 Roar there's definitely another one over
44:50 there roaring
44:52 growling on the other side of that
44:55 fence be a amazing if they walk down
44:58 here it looks like the exit is straight
45:25 uphill this is unbelievable look at this
45:25 they're right here
46:01 then you got another one down
46:01 there staring right at
46:19 jungle this is one of the coolest things
46:19 ever just up here on the top of the hill
46:21 top of a mountain standing a few feet
46:24 from a lion right there just right there
46:27 just chilling right there in the shade I
46:29 don't blame
46:30 him just chilling right there in the
46:32 shade
46:33 huh
46:35 yep that's that's exactly where I'd be I
46:37 don't want to be in the sun either get
46:40 that shade on it's King of the
46:43 Hill King of the mountain you're way up
46:48 lion all right
46:50 lion take care
47:07 oh
47:07 yeah the
47:17 guys you're not roaming this where the
47:17 Buffalo don't roam they Buffalo just
47:19 sitting this is one of the same trees
47:21 that have at Animal Kingdom when you're
47:22 doing the
47:23 Safari this is an artistic rendering
47:27 and you got a
47:28 little there a food stand up here that's
47:31 not open okay this is not a food stand
47:32 it is another exhibit that you have to
47:35 go
47:52 through oh yeah another bird enclosure
47:52 this place is never ending
48:07 I came back over here cuz they were
48:07 making quite a bit of Racket when I was
48:09 over there looking at the
48:10 parakeet lot of
48:13 noises I thought maybe I come back over
48:15 here and see what they were yelling
48:17 about but now they're laying back down
48:20 again
48:31 on the way out the exit go back down the
48:31 mountain they have the Rhinos here and
48:35 just giving awareness to how poachers
48:38 and becoming
48:49 extinct oh ducks and Goose
48:49 geese oh a bunch of them down there I
48:54 know yeah I've had a run in with the
48:56 Goose before didn't end well for me so
48:59 I'm glad keeping my distance here this
49:02 right here is a protective wooden fence
49:04 that will stop you
49:05 from nipping at my ankles probably not
49:09 probably won't stop anything yeah nice
49:10 view up here from this little
49:13 Viewpoint got the chicken wire just in
49:16 case any chickens wanted to try to get
49:18 to us up here we would be shielded by
49:21 this chicken wire looking out on the
49:23 little actually I think this is supposed
49:25 to keep the Ducks and the geese out
49:26 that's what it
49:27 is and then if you look
49:30 out there
49:32 is quink
49:53 here some little chickens little
49:53 peacocks here if you go to Hollywood
49:56 Forever some they have tons of these
49:58 there that roam the
50:05 cemetery go over by C be de Mill's final
50:05 resting place and there might be a might
50:07 be one of these birds there to say hello
50:10 ready for its
50:11 closeup ready for its closeup Mr Dill I
50:13 am just throwing all kind of Pop Culture
50:15 references into today little bit of
50:16 everything here I got to say this place
50:18 is pretty dang
50:20 awesome I am impressed with how
50:22 expansive it
50:23 was it's next level took a long time to
50:26 walk through all this we were walking at
50:28 a pretty good
50:47 in we're still not out of here yet no
50:47 telling what else is going to be
50:48 bestowed upon our eyes
51:08 oh wow slow down gravity's catching up
51:08 and making me run down the side of this
51:20 thing oh we're back to where that one
51:20 place who were going the wrong way
51:22 was back to the Overlook we're almost
51:25 there get out of here is a project of
51:29 its own I mean this is just straight
51:31 down the
51:33 mountain going the right direction
51:35 anyway
52:19 steep I'm not an expert on hiking or
52:19 giving statistics on whether is a
52:21 difficult hike or an easy hike or a
52:23 simple hike or a mild hike or an extreme
52:26 hike but this is
52:28 not a mellow or mild hike experience I'd
52:32 put this not extreme but not an easy
52:36 hike we walked a lot did a lot of steps
52:39 a lot of elevation a lot of up and
52:41 downs more of a hike than it was a zoo
52:44 experience to be honest but the zoo part
52:47 was amazing just incredible how many
52:51 animals were in there I didn't see a
52:54 bath
52:55 though could have been in
52:58 there saw some
53:05 snakes saw some
53:05 crocodiles did not see a hammerhead
53:07 shark I don't think there's any sharks
53:09 here if you're ever in Ecuador winka and
53:12 you want to see a zoo and you are not
53:15 ready to hike extreme mountain hike I
53:21 would say this is probably not the place
53:22 for you but pretty awesome we looked out
53:25 there was a taxi that just dropped
53:26 people off and we're able to grab the
53:27 taxi without walking down the other side
53:29 the rest of the mountain this worked out
53:30 so dang good it's a couple minutes after
53:33 well it's uh let's say it's 112 let's
53:35 call it 115 3 hours it took us to walk
53:38 through there at a pretty quick walking
53:41 pace 3 hours all right made it back over
53:44 to the
53:45 neighborhood there was I guess a
53:47 landslide on one of the main roads took
53:50 about a half hour 45 minutes half hour
53:53 to 45 minutes just to go a couple miles
53:55 because a couple of the main roads are
53:57 closed down but made it back
54:02 over going to call it a day that was a
54:05 really awesome
54:10 experience never really been to a zoo
54:10 like that
54:12 before GL I checked it out saw some
54:14 animals I hadn't
54:19 seen that's going to do it for today
54:21 thanks for watching see you the next
54:23 video the
54:24 Vlog is over
