0:13 not real that's not really a street I'm

0:16 actually at MGM at Disney MGM Studios

0:19 which they've changed the name to

0:20 Hollywood Studios but I still call it

0:22 MGM it's the daily

0:25 woo I never know if I do the intro right

0:28 because I always get sidetracked and

0:29 give you some little information this is

0:32 called the streets of America right here

0:34 at Hollywood Studios and they still have

0:35 the lights up see from the Osborne

0:38 spectacle of lights at night they light

0:40 all these up I'm kind of surprised they

0:42 still have them up because it's into

0:44 we're into January already which is

0:47 pretty wild what is today Tuesday

0:48 today's

0:49 Tuesday and the the uh tourism has kind

0:52 of died down as you can see look at this

0:54 look that's the New York City skyline

0:57 this actually used to be called New York

0:59 Street and the tram would actually take

1:01 you down there which is now a car stunt

1:04 show but the tram used to take you back

1:06 that way on the Backlot tour and it

1:08 would show you this the streets of New

1:11 York right there look at that

1:13 skyscrapers and all kind of stuff but

1:15 they've dropped the New York Street and

1:17 now they just call it streets of America

1:18 so we're in the streets of America right

1:22 now this is pretty awesome I still call

1:24 this place MGM I'm sure you do too the

1:26 old school Disney fans will always refer

1:28 to this place as MGM Studios that's what

1:32 I'm always going to call it so will that

1:33 bird right there this says red right

1:36 here red means stop but we're going to

1:37 continue on there's no stopping anyway I

1:41 mentioned that facade right back there

1:43 which is San Francisco let's get a

1:44 closer look here like I was saying

1:47 before they still have all the Osborne

1:48 spectacle of lights lights up they've

1:51 got some little Crossing areas here they

1:54 don't want you Crossing this so they put

1:56 these up they wouldn't want anybody

1:57 messing with all these lights you can

2:00 see down there a little police station

2:02 there in the form of telephone

2:05 booth this has actually been added

2:07 pretty recently you can see the Golden

2:09 Gate Bridge up there and all these birds

2:11 flying over normally these lights aren't

2:13 here gives it a little bit more Ambiance

2:15 like a city a city

2:17 Ambiance a long time ago when MGM first

2:20 opened this was actually used as a

2:22 Backlot and this place was actually

2:23 build as a big the world's biggest movie

2:26 Backlot Studio which we all know now is

2:29 a complete fabrication and false they

2:30 don't even film anything here anymore

2:32 but right up there on that ledge B

2:34 Midler actually shot a scene right up

2:37 there it was called the lotto I believe

2:39 I think you can probably Google it but B

2:40 Midler was hanging from that rooftop

2:42 there there's a telephone that's a relic

2:44 it's a relic right

2:47 there this always kind of fascinated me

2:50 as a child is always kind of fascinated

2:52 me cuz from way back there by the way

3:02 illusion not only of the lights which

3:04 are left up here from the Osborne

3:05 spectacle of Lights which they have

3:07 every year but the crazy illusion of the

3:10 New York City skyline which is right

3:12 there it's not really a Skyline though

3:14 it's made out of complete fabrication

3:16 and falsehood Disney Magic they're also

3:18 creating Disney Magic over here look I

3:20 don't know what they're doing but the

3:22 Dream Builders are at work normally

3:25 right in here there's a subway system

3:26 that leads basically to a piece of

3:28 concrete so it's an ill that looks like

3:30 a Subway the Subway's gone no more

3:33 Subway they're building something else

3:35 there maybe they're creating another

3:37 illusion for us who

3:40 knows isn't it pretty wild how this

3:42 place is kind of dead last week if you

3:45 were to come out here you couldn't even

3:46 have moved wouldn't have been able to

3:48 walk through here no armor it would have

3:49 been like a real New York City now it's

3:51 completely empty the Park's been open an

3:55 hour an hour and a half 2 hours there's

3:56 no one out here but look at this look

4:11 awesome there's a police line do not

4:11 cross definitely don't want to cross

4:13 this police line but let's get an inside

4:15 look that what's really back here come

4:18 on come with

4:20 me this is movie Magic out here at MGM

4:24 Hollywood Studios the Amsterdam Hotel

4:35 so that's what it really looks like look

4:36 this there's the view you never really

4:38 see right here pretty fantastic

4:42 huh these lights give it a little bit of

4:44 ambiance anyway I'm out here at un I'm

4:46 not Universal I'm Hollywood Studios it's

4:49 really called MGM Universal Hollywood I

4:51 don't even care about those all I care

4:52 about right now is the original name mm
